"We got to thank Suzuki and Hakuba for letting us use their jets to fly here, and I'm sorry we bothered you with all of this, Agasa-Hakase.", Soshi said as he apologized to Agasa.
"Don't apologize Soshi-kun, anything for a friend of Shinichi-kun and Ran-kun, and I love Bakugan and would've love to have a partner myself.", Agasa said with a smile as he motioned towards the large gates across them, with a huge manor behind, "We arrived at the Ooka Manor. We should be careful though.".
"Huh? Why? What's so special about dis Momiji?", Kazuha asked curiously.
"She's the granddaughter of the former primer minister.", Agasa informed them.
Kazuha looked surprised while Soshi whistled, "More connections to the Vanguard then.".
"That's all you noticed, Soshi?", Taylean sighed, "That means we won't just enter the manor.".
"Can't we just pretend that we have an appointment with Momiji?", Hawktor suggested.
"You could, but I'd have noticed your lies.". The three nearly jumped with their Bakugan before they noticed the voice coming from the man who out of nowhere appeared behind the gates.
"And ya are?", Kazuha asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Iori Muga, the Ooka Family's butler.", The man replied with a calm serious tone, "Who are you people? And what do you want with Ojosama?".
"We are members from the Bakugan Battle Vanguard. I'm Okita Soshi, and this is Toyama Kazuha, and our guardian Professor Agasa Hiroshi.", Soshi introduced.
"Bakugan, huh?", Iori raised an eyebrow when he noticed Hawktor and Taylean. He nodded at the security guard who opened the gates for them as he said, "Ojosama does like Bakugan and has her own partner, and since this concerns Bakugan, I'll let you in.".
"That was easy.", Agasa commented.
"But if you do anything wrong or suspicious, I won't hesitate to stop you.", Iori threatened, making Agasa and Kazuha shiver while Soshi looked at him unimpressed.
"Try harder next time.", Soshi commented.
Iori raised an eyebrow at Soshi's comment before he lead the three into the manor, right into the spacious living room, where they noticed a girl, their age sitting on one of the couches, talking to a Pyrus Bakugan.
She was wearing a red skirt with a white buttoned up shirt, and black shoes.
She looked at the newcomers before looking at Iori, who stood next to them, and asked, "Who are those people, Iori?".
"They say they're from something called the Bakugan Battle Vanguard.", Iori answered.
"Battle Vanguard? Is that related to the Battle Brawlers?", The Pyrus Bakugan asked.
"All I know about them, Howlkor, was that they only had three members; Kudou Shinichi, Kuroba Kaito, and Mouri Ran with their Bakugan partners.", Momiji replied.
"Yeah well, it now has Hakuba Saguru, Hattori Heiji, and Sera Masumi as the primary team members. I, Okita Soshi, and Toyama Kazuha here, are the secondary Ventus Brawlers.", Soshi explained, "We are looking for other Brawlers to join us, two in each attribute, and you're one of the Pyrus Brawlers we'd like to have on our team.".
"Did you say Hattori Heiji is on your team?", Momiji said with excitement, her eyes glowing in a strange way.
Soshi sweat dropped, "You seriously ignored all what I've just said and focused on that?".
"Yeah, he is on da team, why does it matter ta ya?", Kazuha asked suspiciously.
"He promised to marry me!", Momiji cried happily with a wide smile.
Iori rolled his eyes as he sighed exasperated. Agasa looked at Momiji in disbelief, wondering what kind of promise is that. Soshi but his lip to stop himself from bursting into laughter before he glanced at Kazuha.
Kazuha had a red fiery and angry aura around her, eyeing Momiji like a predator who wanted to tear its prey apart viciously.
'Oh boy, this is going to be so much fun! Maybe that will push those two to confess!', Soshi thought as a few snickers escaped from his mouth.
"STAY AWAY FROM HEIJI!", Kazuha growled.
Momiji looked at her bewildered, "And why does that bother you so much? Are you his girlfriend?".
Kazuha backed away with her face blushing red, "M-Me? No!".
"Wrong answer.", Taylean said.
"So, it doesn't concern you. He promised me after he made me cry when he won against me in a Karuta Tournanent, when we were seven, that he'd marry me.", Momiji pointed out and explained.
"You still remember that? I don't even remember what I ate yesterday.", Soshi commented dryly.
"That makes you sound desperate for love, honestly.", Hawktor replied.
"You should have some respect when talking to my partner.", Howlkor said sternly.
"I agree to join your Vanguard!", Momiji ignored the Bakugan's comments.
"No way you-".
"Welcome to the Vanguard!", Soshi said with a wide smile as he shook hands with Momiji, making Kazuha look at him in disbelief.
"OKITA!", She cried angrily.
He looked at her oblivious, "What? It's not like your Hattori's girl now, are you?".
Kazuha found herself at loss of words while Soshi smirked and whispered, "You better confess then before Momiji steals your guy!".
"Urusei…", Kazuha grumbled.
"Childhood love and it's drama.", Agasa sighed.
"If we can call it love, that is.", Iori mumbled, not agreeing with Momiji's obsession over Heiji for a stupid promise.

"Accordin' ta da data I found on da Bakugan site, Wada and the Kyogoku siblings spend most der time in da Kyogoku Dojo.", Heiji explained as he and Saguru stood across the said building.
It was a two-floored black dojo building, with a gold sign above the doors, written in kanji colored black 'Kyogoku Dojo'.
At not receiving a response or a comment, Heiji glanced at Saguru and noticed he had a solemn expression, and that Cyndeous was not on his shoulder.
"Oi, where is your partner?", Ingram asked the question on Heiji's mind.
"He's in my pocket, he refuses to rest on my shoulder ever since-".
"Ya sprouted crap from yar mouth when facin' Kuroba?", Heiji asked with a raised eyebrow, "He told me when I asked him why did ya look so depressed.".
"What you said was very hurtful to any Bakugan.", Ingram said sternly, "We Bakugan appreciate and care for our partners. It's true we are intelligent and love to fight, but battling with a partner was always more entertaining and enjoyable than alone. That's how every Bakugan feels, that's how Cyndeous feels, and you made him feel like crap.".
"You don't have to tell me that… I already know from experience…", Saguru sighed, feeling even more guilty after hearing Ingram's words.
"Why were ya so arrogant anyways?", Heiji asked.
"Father barely notices me when I come to live with him in Japan, and I don't have any friends because of how smart I am, being a detective and all. And when Bakugan appeared, I defeated everyone against me… especially when I used their weak points like anger and softness to aggravate them or make them lose their belief, they could win…", Saguru explained, "I became arrogant and cold… just to hide my anger at being alone.".
"Dude, ya could've just looked around harder for better friends, and ya already had friends! Cyndeous was had friend! And since Bakugan are wid us most of da time, dey know our issues! So Cyndeous and yar Bakugan knew yar issues, and yet ya said what ya said!", Heiji pointed out the obvious for Saguru.
The latter stated at him disbelief, since he had never considered that Cyndeous and his other Bakugan already knew about his issues and said nothing, waiting for him to talk about it himself.
Before he could say anything, he and Heiji were interrupted by a girl crying, "Oi! Are you two Bakugan Brawlers?".
They looked ahead and saw Wada Hina, Kyogoku Makoto, and Kyogoku Haruka approaching them from the dojo, with the last running towards them.
Haruka, like her brother, had dark skin and blue eyes, but she had a long black hair tied into a high ponytail with bangs over her forehead.
Wada Hina wore a blue training tracksuit with the pants being black while the jacket and sneakers were blue. Makoto and Haruka wore the same but instead of blue, it was brown.
"Great! Ya guys saved us da effort of enterin' and lookin for ya! I'm Hattori Heiji and dis is Hakuba Saguru, and we'd like ya three ta join the Bakugan Battle Vanguard.", Heiji said with a wide smile.
"I refuse.", Haruka answered quickly.
"Huh?", Heiji blinked.
"Haru, we did not even ask them what this Vanguard was about.", Makoto pointed out before he looked at the two with an apologetic smile, "Sorry about my sister's attitude, she can be energetic and quick to action sometimes…".
"No problem.", Saguru shrugged.
"I think I heard about you guys, isn't that the group acting like Bakugan police? I thought only Kudou Shinichi, Kuroba Kaito, and Mouri Ran were in it.", Hina recalled.
"Well, we and Sera Masumi joined as da other three Primary Brawlers, and we wanted ta expand da Vanguard wid secondary Brawlers and ya-".
"Who are you calling secondary? I can beat your ass right here and now!", Haruka interrupted Heiji.
"You? You don't look so tough.", Heiji commented dryly.
"You should not have said that.", Aquos Tristar, Hina's partner who was present on her shoulder, sighed.
"Who the hell are you calling not so tough?!", Subterra Trox, Haruka's partner who was present on her shoulder, shouted angrily.
"Trox and your sister need to learn how to control their anger issues.", Subterra Maxotaur, Makoto's partner who was present on his shoulder, pointed out.
"You think I didn't try with Haru? And you and Tristar tried before but it's no use.", Makoto sighed.
"You ain't tough, want ya prove me wrong? Ya three face both of us, 3 v 2, if we win, ya join da Vanguard without argument. We lose, we leave silently.", Heiji said in a fake arrogant and mocking tone, aggravating Haruka and Trox.
"We accept!", Haruka and Trox chorused angrily.
"Huh, Hakuba's technique does work.", Heiji noticed.
"Your first loss happened because of your anger.", Ingram reminded him.
The five children pulled out their field cards and cried, "Field Open!". The area around them changed into the Bakugan Field.
"Gate Card, Set!", They cried as they threw their Gate Cards. Haruka's was across Heiji's while Hina's was across Saguru's, and next to Haruka on the other side was Makoto's card.
"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Subterra Trox!", Haruka threw her Bakugan on her card.
Subterra Trox: 370 Gs
"I'm ready to beat you all!", Trox roared.
Saguru pulled out his three Bakugan, including Cyndeous and said, "I'm sorry… I let my issues get the best of me that I did not notice that I've always had you guys by my side, you and the other Subterra Bakugan I've had, especially you Cyndeous.".
He sighed heavily before he continued in an apologetic tone, "Especially you Cyndeous. I was so foolish and stupid, that I failed to notice that I've had a best friend all along. Will you forgive me?".
Heiji smiled at Saguru's apology as he readied one of his Ventus Bakugan and threw it across Rattleoid, "Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Ventus Ingram!".

"Think I'm scared of you just because you've got higher G-Power?", Trox narrowed his eyes at Ingram.
"I've got that G-Power from so many battles back on Vestroia, I was not born with them.", Ingram pointed out as he cracked his knuckles and stretched his neck, getting ready for battle.
Cyndeous popped out and said, "That wasn't so hard now, was it?".
"You… forgive me?", Saguru blinked in disbelief.
"All we wanted was an apology from you, and we got it.", Cyndeous nodded.
"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Aquos Tristar!", Hina threw her Bakugan Partner on her Gate Card.
Aquos Tristar: 370 Gs
"So, we're friends again, partner?".
"Yes, we are, partner.".
Saguru smiled as Cyndeous closed as he grabbed him, before throwing him across his gate card, "Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Subterra Cyndeous!".

Makoto grabbed his Bakugan partner after he closed and threw him across Cyndeous, "Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Subterra Maxotaur!".

"Aren't I going to brawl?", Tristar sweatdropped at his situation, since he had no Bakugan to face against.
"Gate Card Open! Grand Spirit!", Haruka activated her Gate Card.

"Ability Card, Activate! Jurassic Charge!", Haruka activated her ability card.

"Now you're finished!", Trox cried as he charged towards Ingram with his mouth wide open, brown aura surrounding him.
"The worst thing you could do in Bakugan is face an opponent without gathering information about him first.", Ingram chuckled.
"What is that supposed to mean?", Haruka asked suspiciously.
"He means dis! Ability Card Activate! Continuous Dance – Phoenix Position!", Heiji smirked as he pulled out an ability card.
Ingram let out a phoenix cry as he flew high, evading Trox's teeth, his wings surround him him as green aura appeared around him.

Ventus Ingram: 450 Gs
Ingram then swooped down towards Trox, spinning so fast that a green tornado formed around him. He collided with Trox, and smoke filled the arena, blinding everyone before they saw the Bakugan return to their sphere form, Trox fell at Haruka's feet while Ingram returned to Heiji's hand.

"I-impossible!", Haruka cried in disbelief before she turned to Makoto, "Mako-niisan, avenge me!".
Everyone sweatdropped at Haruka's choice of words.
"Yeah! Defeat those imbeciles!", Trox added.
The sweatdrop grew even bigger as everyone deadpanned at Trox's words.
"How are they siblings?", Ingram wondered.
"Apologies about my friend and his partner, they tend to be… over excited.", Maxotaur sighed as he apologized to Cyndeous.
"It's alright, you can't control your friend's personality, let alone their partner.", Cyndeous nodded.
"Gate Card, Open! Land Pressure!", Saguru activated his Gate Card.

Tristar groaned at the sudden loss of G-Power as he growled, "No fair buddy!".
"Ability Card, Activate! Shield Cyclone!".

"Bakugan Brawl! Bakugan Stand! Ventus Ravenoid!", Heiji threw one of his Bakugan across Tristar, "Ya wanted a battle? Ya got one!".

"Nice work, having my back here.", Heiji smirked at Saguru.
"Figured you'd like a boost since you had already used Cyndeous.", Saguru smirked back.
"Don't get too happy! Gate Card, Open! Supernova!", Hina activated her Gate Card.

Ventus Ravenoid: 370 Gs
"Have ya forgotten dat ya used yar Ability Already? Ability Card, Activate! Storm Breaker!", Heiji smirked as he activated his ability card.

Ravenoid let out a roar as he charged towards Tristar and grabbed him with his talons from his shoulder and flew with him high in the air.
"Put me down you stupid bird!", Tristar cried.
Ravenoid looked down at him for a second before he threw Tristar up, grabbed him from his neck with both his hands, and swooped down with him into the card again, Tristar's head slamming first into the card, before both returned back to their sphere form, Tristar fell at Hina's feet while Ravenoid returned to Heiji's hands.

"Who came up with the idea that we should only use one ability?!", Haruka cried annoyed.
"Dan and Shinichi thought it would be more challenging and fun, according to what Kudou had told me.", Saguru recalled.
"I hate them both.", Haruka grumbled.
Cyndeous and Maxotaur eyed each other as the first said, "Let's have a good battle.".
"You took the words right out of my mouth.", Maxotaur nodded in agreement.
Both Bakugan then charged towards each other with Maxotaur swinging his right arm, to attack Cyndeous with the blade on the back of his forearm, but the latter used his armored forearm to block the attack.
Saguru and Makoto eyed each other, careful of the only Ability they would use, and trying to get the other to use his first.
Maxotaur let out a groan once Cyndeous's stronger fist collided with his face, before he returned the favour with one of his own, but Cyndeous was not hurt that much since Maxotaur was lower than him in G-Power.
"Ability Card, Activate! Iron Fist!", Makoto backed down from the staring contest and used an ability card.
Subterra Cyndeous: 450 – 250 = 200 Gs
Subterra Maxotaur: 250 200 = 450 Gs
Maxotaur let out a battle cry as his fists turned into pure metal and charged towards Cyndeous, slamming both his knuckles in the latter's chest and sending him flying away.
Cyndeous landed hard on his back on the edge of the card and groaned, "Didn't think it would hurt that much…".
"There is still more from where that came from.", Maxotaur slammed his knuckles into each other as Cyndeous stood back up.
"No, there isn't. Because it's over!", Saguru announced as he pulled out an ability card, "Ability Card, Activate! Ancient Guardian!".
Cyndeous's glowed as brown aura surrounded him before the middle of his chest opened sideways, to reveal a circular hole resembling an ancient relic, and it started growing brown as it gathered energy.

Subterra Maxotaur: 450 Gs
"It was an honor battling you.", Cyndeous said before a huge beam emitted from the relic towards Maxotaur, who raised his iron fists to block the beam.
He groaned as he struggled to keep the beam from hitting him, but he could not take it any longer and unconsciously lowered his forearms, the beam slamming into his chest, before he and Cyndeous returned to their sphere forms. He fell at Makoto's feet while Cyndeous returned to Saguru's hand.

"Sa whose da tough one now?", Heiji said with a smile that aggravated Haruka as they returned back to the real world.
"Fine! You win! Happy?!", Haruka crossed her arms.
"I guess we should do as we agreed on then, we three agree to join the Vanguard.", Makoto nodded with a smile.
"Could you just tell us more about it?", Hina asked.
"Sure, we can do so while we walk back to our headquarters.", Saguru nodded.
"Headquarters?", Haruka blinked, "Now I'm interested.".
"Just wait until ya see it den!", Heiji laughed.
Saguru then texted the Vanguard group with his BakuPod, informing them of their success, and updating on the list Masumi, Shinichi, and Soshi had sent before.
Secondary Subterra Brawlers are complete, and Aquos Brawler Wada Hina also joined.
