TimeSkip: Friday.
Issei was groaning as he woke up in his room back in the human world but felt a weight on his chest before seeing the mop of hair that belonged to Lilithmon, who was smiling while resting her head on top of Issei's heart, which reminded Issei of the first night that spent together since Lilithmon confessed her feelings to Issei, which led to the two of them dating each other in and off the battlefield, along with some romantic moments that Beelzebumon didn't intrude since the last time the Sin of Gluttony almost interrupted their sleep together, Lilithmon almost used her Phantom Pain to make him suffer as a warning not to interrupt them.
Issei smiled at his lover before hearing the beep of his alarm clock ringing, which made Lilith groan as she was about to use some of her magic to destroy the clock until it ended, thanks to Issei tapping the off button.
"Good morning, my Queen," Issei said, which made Lilith smile back at Issei as she let out a cute yawn before she opened her eyes with love in them, which was ironic since her irises were hearts.
"Good morning, my King," Lilith said before the two shared a loving kiss on each other's lips, which evolved into the two tonguing each other with love and affection until they separated before they went off the deep end since it was a school day.
"Must you continue to go to that school? You are already smart enough to graduate, so why continue going?" Lilith asked, which made Issei chuckle at his Queen's question before kissing her forehead.
"It's because hacking into the school's computer to make me graduate early is wrong, and you know it," Issei said, which made Lilith pout.
"Not like anyone would know."
"I would know."
"Touché," Lilith said before the Digital Master got out of his bed and groaned as he stretched his arms and back, which made his wings appear due to him absorbing Lucemon and a perk of being the Digital Master of his world.
"No matter how many times I see those lovely wings of yours, it makes me wonder what you would look like if you were born an Angel," Lilith said, which made Issei snicker before replying.
"I'd probably be a Fallen due to my Lust."
"You know you'd still be my husband if you fell from Heaven," Lilith said with a smile.
"Well, that's true, but I still feel embarrassed when you propose because normally, it's the man who's supposed to do it," Issei said, recalling the day after the war ended with Lilith asking Issei to be her Queen, which made Issei a bit embarrassed since he wanted to propose first but still accepted the ring, and the wedding was the mark of a new beginning in the Digital World. Everyone loved it, even Splashmon, and he was the one who cried more than anyone since the guy was a sucker for romance.
"Issei, since when has our relationship been 'normal' in human terms?" Lilith asked, which made Issei ponder a bit until a solid minute passed, and Issei sighed and nodded in response to Lilith's question.
"...Fair enough, but that still isn't going to stop me from taking you out on a date. After my classes, that is." Issei said, which made Lilith smile since she was looking forward to the date that Issei had prepared for them tonight. Lilith loved having a real body granted to her by her husband, so she was going to enjoy every single moment of the date until the evening, especially since it was Friday, the perfect day for a date.
"Have fun at school, and I do hope you are safe from those Devils at said school."
"Heh. Thanks, Lilith." Issei said before kissing Lilith's lips, which made her giggle before seeing her husband off, which made Lilith sigh due to not being able to go to the same school as her husband since the Devils would be able to notice that she isn't human.
The supernatural faction has always been curious about being able to obtain a Digimon on their side, which is why all Digimon fled back to the Digital World to hide from them and why Lucemon's original plan was to destroy the old world by combining it with the Digital World so they could not only gain a real body but continue to use their full powers.
However, when Issei stopped Lucemon and his plans, Barbamon wished to continue his master plans, so Issei and the Digimon of Greed would clash again, but not alone since Issei has been working on a solution that the Digimon of his team would be able to not only have a human body in the Human World but be able to use their powers to the fullest.
"However, I fear that Barbamon may have a human form here and is biding his time until he unleashes his army," Lilith said as she recalled the threat Barbamon made to Issei after he fled when Issei defeated Lucemon in battle and wanted to give Barbamon a chance to join the new Digital World that Issei built.
Flashback
The ruins of the battlefield were still smoldering, the remnants of Lucemon's defeat echoing in the air. Issei stood tall, his wings glowing with a soft golden light, a symbol of his newfound power and the peace he sought to bring to the Digital World. Around him, the landscape bore the scars of the epic battle, but the sense of victory was palpable.
Across the field, Barbamon, the Digimon of Greed, watched with narrowed eyes as Issei approached. His grip on his staff tightened, but his posture betrayed his uncertainty. Lucemon had fallen, and now the fate of the Digital World lay in the hands of the victor—the one who had defeated the greatest threat they had ever known.
"Barbamon," Issei called out, his voice firm but not without compassion. "Lucemon's reign of terror is over. You don't have to continue down this path. Join me, and we can build a new world together, one where Digimon and humans can coexist in peace."
Barbamon's eyes flickered with a mixture of emotions—anger, fear, and something else, something that Issei couldn't quite place. For a moment, it seemed as though the Digimon of Greed might consider the offer. But then, the familiar gleam of greed and ambition returned to Barbamon's gaze.
"Do you think I would abandon my plans so easily?" Barbamon spat, his voice dripping with disdain. "You may have defeated Lucemon, but you have only delayed the inevitable. My ambitions go beyond what you can comprehend, Digital Master."
Issei took a step closer, his wings folding slightly as he extended a hand in genuine offering. "You don't have to be alone in this, Barbamon. There's a place for you in the new world, a chance to start anew without the need for conflict."
Barbamon hesitated, his eyes narrowing as he studied Issei. The temptation was there, a chance to survive, perhaps even to thrive in this new order. But his pride, his greed, wouldn't allow him to take that step. He had come too far, sacrificed too much, to surrender now.
"You may have won this battle," Barbamon finally said, his voice low and dangerous, "but the war is far from over. I will return, and when I do, the world you've built will fall to ruins. Remember that, Issei."
With that, Barbamon turned and fled, his form dissolving into data as he escaped into the digital ether. Issei watched him go, a deep sense of unease settling in his chest. He knew that Barbamon would be back, more dangerous than ever and that the peace he sought to build was still under threat.
But for now, the battle was won, and Issei had taken the first step toward creating a world where Digimon and humans could coexist. The future was uncertain, but Issei was determined to protect the peace he had fought so hard to achieve, no matter what challenges lay ahead.

Lilithmon's eyes narrowed as she recalled that fateful day. "If he's managed to find a way to obtain a human form, then we may be facing a threat even more insidious than Lucemon."
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of the door closing as Issei left for school. She sighed, knowing that her husband would face countless dangers in the human world, surrounded by Devils and other supernatural beings. But she also knew that Issei was strong, both in heart and in spirit.
As she prepared to return to the Digital World for her duties, Lilithmon couldn't shake the feeling that the days ahead would be crucial. The peace that Issei had fought so hard to achieve was fragile, and Barbamon's shadow loomed ever closer.

There were still threats out there, hidden in the dark corners of the Digital World, and perhaps even closer, within the human world itself.
But there was something else that weighed heavily on his mind—a conversation he had with Lucemon, the fallen angel who had nearly succeeded in merging the Digital World with his own. Lucemon's ideals were twisted, but in them, Issei had seen a reflection of his fears, a mirror of the dangers that both worlds faced from the supernatural forces that coveted the power of the Digimon.
As he took his seat in the classroom, the teacher's voice droning on about some subject or another, Issei's mind drifted back to that moment, the final conversation he had with Lucemon before their battle reached its devastating conclusion.
Flashback
The Digital World was on the brink of collapse. The sky, once vibrant with the colors of digital life, was now a swirling vortex of chaos as the boundaries between the worlds began to blur. Lucemon stood at the center of it all, his majestic form radiating both light and darkness, a being caught between two extremes.
Issei, his armor battered and his wings glowing faintly, approached the fallen angel. Despite the tension in the air, there was a calmness in Lucemon's demeanor, as if he had already accepted the path he had chosen.
"Lucemon," Issei called out, his voice steady despite the turmoil surrounding them. "Why are you doing this? Why destroy the human world to bring the Digital World into it?"
Lucemon turned to face him, his golden eyes filled with a sorrow that belied his actions. "You ask me why, Issei? You, of all people, should understand. Your world is a threat to the Digital Server. The supernatural forces that are part of your world see us as nothing more than tools of war, weapons to be wielded for their gain. They see us as a means to an end all due to the fact that we cannot perish like them and have powers that can grow in ways they cannot imagine."
Issei frowned, his brow furrowing in thought. "But that doesn't mean everyone thinks that way. Some people would see Digimon as more than just tools. People who would fight to protect you, just as I have."
Lucemon's expression softened, but the resolve in his eyes remained. "Perhaps, Issei, but can you guarantee that most of your world will see us that way? I have seen what happens when humans and the supernatural get their hands on power they do not understand. They corrupt it, twist it to their ends, until nothing remains of its original purpose. I cannot allow that to happen to my world, to my people."
Issei took a step closer, his voice earnest as he tried to reach the fallen angel. "Lucemon, I know that there are those who seek power for the wrong reasons, but that doesn't mean we should give up on those who seek to protect it for the right ones. The Digital World and the living world don't have to be enemies. We can find a way to coexist, to protect both worlds from those who would seek to destroy them."
Lucemon looked at Issei for a long moment, the weight of centuries of war and betrayal reflected in his eyes as he saw an Angelmon in Issei's place a long time ago.
"You are young, Issei Hyoudou. You still have hope, and that is why you have been able to achieve what you have in this world. But I have seen too much and endured too much to share in that hope. My goal is to protect the Digital World, even if it means the destruction of yours."
Issei clenched his fists, his wings flaring with determination. "And my goal is to protect both worlds, Lucemon. I won't let you destroy my home, but I also won't let the Digital World fall into the hands of those who would abuse its power. There must be another way."
For a moment, something in Lucemon's gaze wavered as if he was considering Issei's words. But then, the resolve returned, and he shook his head.
"You are a fool, Issei. A noble fool, but a fool, nonetheless. You cannot save both worlds. If we had met at a different time, then you and I could've agreed, but that is a pipe dream. Now is the time to destroy the final obstacle in my path to keeping the Digital World safe. You."
With those final words, Lucemon turned away, preparing to unleash the full force of his power. But Issei wasn't ready to give up. He charged forward, determined to stop Lucemon and find a way to save both worlds, even if it meant fighting against one of the most powerful beings in existence.

The sound of the school bell jolted Issei out of his reverie. He blinked, realizing that the class had ended, and students were starting to file out of the room. 'I can understand Lucemon's intentions to protect his people, but what he did to not just Emerald but also his subjects is no better than the ones he tried to force to join his army.' Issei said, recalling the only friend that he had after Irina moved away, but sadly, she perished in the Digital World, sacrificing her life for Issei. Unfortunately, there was no way to save her, and even the best Digimon Healers couldn't save Emerald from death.
Issei let out a sigh as he headed to his next classes for the day, unaware of a certain Devil taking an interest in Issei Hyoudou.
"Hm. Akeno, what can you tell me about that boy?" Rias Gremory asked her Queen and friend, Akeno Himejima before the Queen looked at Issei and recalled the rumors about him.
"Not very much since he's a bit of a loner due to Issei not having any friends and seems to enjoy peace, although it does say he did have a friend in middle school who sadly died, but that's about it. Oh, but I do know he likes to play games on his phone." Akeno explained before Rias narrowed her eyes at the phone and could tell that there was something odd about it.

Rias said with a grunt at the end before looking back at Akeno and asking her to send Kaiba to pick him up. Akeno obliged and left Rias alone as the Heiress looked at her pamphlets that her familiar had passed out and was surprised to see that it didn't activate when Issei went on his date with the Fallen Angel.
"Who are you, Issei Hyoudou? And how can I get you to come to my side?"

Issei groaned as he stretched his arms, glad that classes were done for the day and that he could enjoy the weekend now. Plus, he had already finished his homework.
"Ugh. I'm honestly considering taking Lilith on her offer to get out of here since this stuff was so...elementary." Issei said before hearing the squeals of the girls in his classroom as they saw Yuuto Kaiba, the Prince Charming of Kuoh Academy, grace the classroom with his presence, which made Issei roll his eyes since he was not a fan of the guy since he got so many love confessions and never once even accepted those that were even genuine which made Issei feel sorry for the girls, especially since he couldn't see any Lust radiating off the guy but anger at something which surprised the Digital Master.
Plus, another reason why Issei didn't like the guy is because the guy literally caused the girl's imagination to run wild due to moments like this.
"My President would like to see you, Issei," Kaiba said with his charming smile, but Issei only cringed at the sight before flipping him off.

"How about this? You come to see her this once, and I'll never bother you again?" Kaiba said, which made Issei stop before he pondered this deal since it was just one visit, and he wouldn't have to deal with the twink again if he was in Kuoh Academy.
