Chapter 79-Ice bucket challenge

"Dancing all night was awesome and exhausting." Clint said.
"Sure was." Tony agreed.
"Yeah but that was nothing compared to the ice bucket challenge we got pulled into." Bruce said.

"Ladies and gentlemen, today we have a great honor of being graced by the Avengers!" the announcer of the Olympics declared.
The crowd goes crazy and cheers loudly as the five male heroes appeared on stage and stood alongside several of the athletes who were also going to participate in the challenge.
"This years games have been amazing and now we are going to take this historical moment to the next level. The Avengers, along with several athletes, have been challenged to the Ice Bucket Challenge. The way that this challenge works, a person is dared to pour a bucket of water and ice over themselves. When this is done, they must dare another person of their choosing to do the same. This helps funds research to cure ALS. The Avengers were glad to accept the challenge and they hope that others will help in finding a cure and helping those who have ALS."
The announcer and camera turned to the heroes and athletes who now had large buckets filled with ice water in front of them.
"Heroes and athletes! Are you ready?!"
"Yes!" the group shouted.
Bruce looked over to his friends.
Tony, Clint and Thor looked too excited and Steve looked a little nervous. Understandable for the super soldier. The Olympic athletes standing with them also looked the same as Tony, Clint and Thor.
"Ready. 1...2..."
The group picked up their buckets and waited for the last number to be called.
"THREE!"
Bruce held his breath and tipped the bucket over his head. He felt the shock of the cold water and ice flood over his body.
"Yeah!" Tony cheered as he and Clint hopped up and down, soaked from head to toe, large grins on their faces.
Bruce himself chuckled and saw Steve do the same. He and Thor were shaking hands with the equally soaked athletes while cameras captured every moment and the crowd continued to cheer and show their support.

"That was awesome!" Clint exclaimed.
"Sounds like it." Natasha said. "Wish I could have been there."
"I'm sure others wish the same." Tony said with a sly grin only to have a couch pillow remove it.
