"Let's promise not to pour that much ice onto ourselves again." Tony said.

"Agreed." the others said in unison.

"Ice only belongs in drinks or during winter. Especially when Christmas is around. Like that time my awesome future self accidentally sent our kids to our time."

"How 'awesome' can your future self be if you did that by accident?" Clint remarked.

Tony rubbed his eyes to try to get over the effect the blinding light had done. When they finally cleared, he spotted three familiar faces.

"James. Torunn. Francis. What brings you to the past?" the billionare asked curiously.

"Your future self did this by accident." Francis answered. "Not such a genius move. I'd say that it's your age getting to you though."

"Hey, I'm pretty sure that I remember how to spank." Tony stated. "In the meantime, you three got here at a good time. Tomorrow is Christmas and I'm sure your future parent's will be happy to see you."

"Are they around?" James asked.

"Yep. They should be getting ready to have lunch. Let's head up there and surprise them." Tony offered.

The group of four took the elevator up to the common room and quickly appeared in the dinning room where the other Avengers quickly took notice.

"James!" Steve and Natasha exclaimed happily as the teen hurried over to hug them.

"My daughter. What brings you to Midgard and to this time?" Thor asked as he hugged his daughter.

"Tony's future self accidentally sent us here." Torunn answered.

"Wow. How smart do you have to be to do that?" Clint remarked and high fived his son.

"Don't make me ruffle your feathers." Tony said.

"Are you going to stay for Christmas?" Steve asked.

"Plan on it." James answered. "Unless the future Tony gets us back before then, then I want to share this Christmas with you guys."

"Then we need to go get presents." Natasha stated.

"Mom, staying here with you for the holiday is more than enough for me." James stated.

"Not for us. Having you here just made this holiday even better and, as your parent's, we need to shower you with gifts." Natasha said.

"The same applies to you, Torunn." Thor said. "Together, we shall venture to Asgard and be back in time for the holiday gathering."

"Will I get to see grandfather Odin?" the blond princess asked.

"Aye and your mother as well." Thor answered. "My friends, my daughter and I shall return in time for the gift exchange."

"Have fun in Asgard." Tony said and the two Asgardians walked outside.

"Let's have lunch now." Clint said. "And when we're done, us parent's are going to go out present shopping."

Lunch got started with the future children telling tales of their training and nothing else too specific.

When lunch was done Steve, Natasha and Clint left to go shopping. Even though their children said it wasn't nessessary.

Tony entertained the teens until their parent's got back. He showed them how to play games that they claimed to not be around in their time.

It took a while but the two teen boys quickly learned how to play the famed Mario Kart game.

Two hours had gone by of them playing before their parent's returned with their arms filled with wrapped gifts.

"Uh, isn't that a little much?" Francis asked.

"Hey, this is going to have to do until we get to the Christmas where you're sixteen and it's not from a time jump." Clint answered before placing the gifts under the large tree.

"The same applies to you, young man." Natasha said to James as Steve placed his load of presents under the tree.

"You do the same in the future." James said. "Only those gifts are a little more...weaponized."

"Who says these aren't?" Natasha joked.

"Hilarious." Steve muttered. "Anyway, want to spend time together, James?"

"Yeah!" the teen quickly answered and followed his parent's out of the room.

"Good. But we need to get your younger self away from Miss Potts. I think she's trying to claim you as her own since Tony keeps stalling."

James chuckled and they made it to Pepper's office. As always, the CEO was busy but she always made time for her two nephews and one niece. The two youngest of the Next Avengers haven't been born yet but the Avengers were sure that Pepper would spoil them just like she spoils the ones that are around.

Pepper looked up when someone entered her office and she broke out into a large smile when she saw James.

"What are you doing here?!" she exclaimed happily as she jumped from her seat and rushed over to hug him.

"Tony had a little accident in the future that sent me, Francis and Torunn here." he explained.

"They're here too?!"

"Francis is somewhere with Barton and Thor took Torunn to Asgard for a while." Natasha answered and walked over to the playpen that had been set up in the office. Inside the playpen was the baby form of the teen that stood with them.

James smiled as he watched his mother reach down and pick up the infant.

"Come on. Let's go hang out until dinner." Natasha said.

The family made their way to the floor the soldier and spy made their home. When they walked in, James noticed all of the pictures of him as a baby and all of the toys that were scattered about.

"Wow. You really did spoil me." he said.

"Better believe it." Natasha stated. "You're our little miracle and we want to always remind you of it by giving you everything you could ever want."

"Well, thanks. Glad to see that I had everything I could ever need at one." James said.

"You should see what we plan to get you when you're two." Steve said.

James smiled at his parents. He knows very well that the real reason they give him everything he could ever want is because they want him to have a better childhood than they had. All of the toys his infant self currently has is more than the both of them had in the first five years of their lives.

They wanted him to have everything they never did.

They already did most of that by being around all his life. Knowing that both his parent's were orphans, it was a constant fear that James secretly had.

His mother placed this infant on the floor and he instantly crawled over to his many toys.

The Rogers family spent hours on end just talking and enjoying each others company.

Dinner time came and they all gathered in the dinning room. But James and Francis sensed that something was going to ruin the moment.

"I'm feeling a little off." Francis said.

"Me too. It's the same as last time when we were heading back to..."

The parent's frowened when they realized what the two teens realized.

"Guess Tony figured things out sooner than we hoped." James said.

"Then you need these before you go." Steve said and handed his son a large bag that was filled with all the presents he and Natasha got him.

"We're glad that you were here though. It made our holiday so much more special." Natasha said as she hugged her son.

Clint did the same with Francis even though the tough teen pretended that it was embarassing.

"See you in the future." Francis said and began to fade right in Clint's arms.

"Take care." Clint said.

"We love you, son." Steve said as he and Natasha continued to hug their son that also began to fade.

"I love you guys too." James said and then completely vanished.

"That was a great holiday." Clint said with a smile.

"I just wish that they could have stayed through Christmas." Natasha said.

"Me too." Steve said.

"I could try to bring them back for next Christmas." Tony suggested.

"You just never learn when it comes to time machines or time travel, do you?" Natasha asked.

"Nope."

Merry Christmas everyeone. Hope you get lots of presents and lots of love.
