Whopper and Adam split up, Adam went to follow Cooler and the pound puppies. While Whopper went to the pound, guarding the other piece of the bone of scone. Whopper made it to the pound and found Collete. "They're after me." Whopper tries to warn her about the two henchmen that are coming after Whopper. "Who is?" Colette asks him, wondering who would be after the little pup like him. Right when Whopper was about to say the doors burst open to reveal the very two bad guys that Whopper encountered. "They are." Whopper replied in a frightened voice. Lumpy sped his motorcycle to try and catch the little pup.
Whopper moves out of the way by jumping. Once he landed on the ground, he got knocked out from the impact on the ground and hit his head. The piece of the relic slipped from his grasp, going up in the air, and landed right into Collete's basket. Where her puppies are, just watching things unfold. They also noticed the piece of the bone of scone, but mistaken it to be a regular bone. Bones saw where the piece went as Lumpy wonders where it went. "Now where did that bone go?" Lumpy wondered, searching around the pound.
"It's in the basket." Bones pointed out. "I'll get it." Lumpy said as he's about to find the bone. Only for Collete to stand guard against him, protecting her puppies. Lumpy does not wanna chance with this dog. "Oops. Uh bones, you get it." Lumpy flees while running and yelping from momma dog who is giving chase. While Bones goes to the basket and starts searching.
"Outta the way there come on, outta the way." Bones shoves some pups gently and he eventually finds the other piece. Colette notices this and makes a turn towards Bones. "Got it." Bones said with overconfidence. Then he felt a sharp pain on his bottom. Colette got a strong grip on Bones with her fangs. Bones walks a little limb as he tries to ignore the pain he's feeling. "Well, did ya get it?" Lumpy wonders if Bones managed to get it. "Doh, I got it alright?" Bones turns around to show him the worst position he's in. "Now I would appreciate it if you get it, off of me." Bones whined for Lumpy to get Collete off. Lumpy sees the problem.
So he started to vacuum Collete. Whopper gains his consciousness and he sees she's about to be captured into a sealed bag. "Colette!" Whopper called her. "Oh, that thing got teeth like needles." Bones said while waiting for lumpy to get the dog off of his bottom. "Fits right in with your pinhead." Lumpy made an insult. Whopper goes into an attack phase and makes his move on the big guy. Lumpy right away sees Whopper pouncing. "Huh?" Lumpy points the vacuum at Whopper. "So you wanna play too huh?" Lumpy taunts, and he succeeds in getting Whopper.
"It's in the bag bones." Lumpy pointed the vacuum back to Colette and got her in the sealed bag. "Now we got a doggy bag." Lumpy laughs. "My pants, the dog's teeth, ripped a new one." Bones said as the fabric from the bottom of his pants dropped. "Eh we'll get you another pair once we head back to our boss's place." Lumpy said with no sympathy.
Whopper and Colette see the predicament there. And are unable to make their escape. "Don't be scared Colette, we'll get out of here. Somehow." Whopper said, feeling unsure on how to plan an escape.
"Hand me the other half. Lumpy puts his hand out, expecting Bones to give him the other piece. Bones however thinks the one he's holding is the other piece. "That is the other half." Bones replied. "No, I mean the other half." Lumpy holds out his other arm to make the description specific to Bones. Now he gets it.
"Oh the other half, I left that at the museum." Bones tells him where he put the other half. Lumpy got irritated with Bones incompetence. "What, do you know what the boss is gonna do, when he finds out we only got half?" Lumpy said. "You think he'll punish us?" Bones guesses. "No, he won't punish us. He's just gonna kill us." Lumpy replies with some bad news.
Seeing that they can't go back to the museum without another attempt to get the other piece back. They left with no choice but to ride on their pink motorcycle and ride away from the crime scene that they made.
Museum
The police arrive at the crime scene, asking some questions to the guard while Cooler and the gang look to see that the first piece of the relic is missing, combining with the shards of glass from the case. "Oh no, what happened to the bone of scone?" Charlemagne said with a worried look. Uh oh, I can f-feel trouble coming." Howler stutters. "Why it looks awful with half of it gone." Nose Marie said with a shocked look. Bright eyes, beamer, reflex, Jeff, and Tammy also had the same shocked looks. "No kidding." Hairball added.
"We gotta find the bone, and put it back together if we want puppy power back." Cooler said. "What if we c-can't?" Howler wondered with a stutter. "We have to, or the kids and puppies will never be able to talk again. It will be the way it was in the dark ages." Cooler said with dreadful thoughts. Hearing this caused a bit of worry and panic among Cooler's group. The echoes of barks caught Cooler's ear. "Shh, uh oh. It's the puplings." Cooler said. Jeff sees there's something going on, and it's not a good look. "Come on Tammy, I don't know what Cooler said. But it sure sounds serious." Jeff said. Tammy nods and they follow the dogs to the exit.
Outside at the entrance of the museum
Meanwhile Adam made it to the museum. Seeing the entrance is blocked by police tape that reads: Caution. As soon as he was about to go in and look for them. Adam hears some squeaky barks in the distance of the pound. "The puppies." Suddenly, the realization hit him, he remembers the two bad guys. He begins to get worried. "Whopper, Colette." Adam said to himself. He starts to grow concerned. "I need to hurry." Adam was about to march right to the museum, only to see Cooler and the gang making their exit. Running past him. "Huh? Now what?" Then he remembered. "Oh yeah, the pups." Adam reminded himself.
"Adam!" He turns to see It was Jeff who called his name. "Jeff, there's something wrong." Adam said. "I know, we need to follow Cooler." Jeff said and ran off while Tammy ran beside him. "Wait up!" Adam called and started to follow.
They were all in a hurry to the pound to find Colette's puplings are alone without their mom. "Oh her babies are all alone." Bright eyes said. "You poor little darlings are getting hungry." Nose Marie said, worried for the pups. The pups started to speak.
"Bad men took momma and Whopper away. And the bone." Each little puppies explained what happened. The revelation got everyone shocked. "They were puppynapped." Beamer added the comment. Adam heard the bad news about Whopper and Colette. He knows he was too late to save them. "Whopper is gone? No, I'm too late." Adam fell to his knees. "I shouldn't have split up and left." Adam slams his fist on the ground. Knowing he made a bad decision to leave him defenseless. "Aw, they want their mommy." Bright eyes said, feeling bad for the pups. Florence enters the scene. "The wee little darlings are getting hungry." Florence said.
"Oh no." Furball comments, followed by a spit of his hairball. "Oh Jeff this is serious, if we don't find Colette. The babies will starve." Tammy said. "No one can feed them but their mom." Jeff added. "We got to find out who grabbed them, and where their going?" Cooler said. "But how?" Adam asked. Cooler suddenly got surprised by Adam. Somehow, he was able to understand them. Before he is about to ask. He goes to Howler first.
"Howler, get the great howl." Cooler ordered. Howler salutes, and does what he asked. He climbs up the wall and starts a weaker howl due to his nervousness. "This is no time to be nervous." Cooler called. Howler this time gave it a good howl. Spreading it across the dogs. Cooler turns to Adam. "Alright kid, how are you still able to understand me?" Cooler interrogates. The others heard what Cooler just said. Taken aback by this.
"Wait, really?" Reflex wonders. "Does that mean you still carry puppy power?" Bright eyes asks Adam. Adam sees he is able to understand the dogs Like Cooler. "I'm confused, if puppy power is lost, how come I'm the only one?" Adam asks, trying to find an answer.
"I don't know, there had to be something." Tammy said. "Do you have something on you?" Jeff asked Adam. Adam perked his head, he took out his necklace. "Well that's a pretty necklace you have here." Nose Marie complemented his necklace. "Where did you get that?" Beamer wondered. "I had this on my birthday when I was twelve. My granddad gave it to me two years ago." Adam describes his story. They find this intriguing, even Cooler finds it interesting as well.
"What is it?" Bright eyes curiosity asked. "I don't know, he never told me. Only thing I know is its family's heirloom and supposedly special. Says my granddad." Adam answered. "Gotta admit kid, your granddad sure knew how to pick one heck of a necklace." Charlemagne said. "That's my grandpa for ya." Adam replied. Cooler hears more barks, and goes to jump up on the wall.
He lifted his left ear, listening to all of the barking. Cooler comes back down after gathering enough intel from the dogs out there. "Ok, The tough guy and skinny guy are headed out of town on a motorcycle. Then dig this." Cooler starts acting like a noir.
"There's puppy whimpering coming from that motorcycle, it must be Colette and Whopper. They headed toward the woods outside of town." Cooler explained from what he gathered from their barks from the dogs. Bright eyes picked up one of the pups. "Colette's babies will be orphans." Bright eyes said with sadness, comforting the pups. "No way, we can't let it happen." Adam added.
"And Puppy power will be lost forever, and Whopper too." Nose Marie said with worry for Whopper." Cooler notices them slowly losing their heads. "Get it together guys, we got work to do. We got to get to the woods." Cooler said. The pound puppies don't seem to approve of Cooler's idea of going to the woods. "The woods?!" Nose Marie said in disapproval.
"Woah, that's where big paw hangs out." Beamer said. "They went to the wo-the-wha-the whoo-" Howler tries to say, then proceeds to howl "The forest? Big paw's gonna get 'em. We'll never see the bone or them again." Howler said. "Howler you got to start being more positive." Cooler encourages him. "Okay, I'm positive." Howler replies. "That's the spirit." Cooler is happy to hear it from Howler. "Big paw will get em." Howler finishes.
"Wrong, cuz we're gonna rescue them." Cooler said. They cheer for his courageous plan. "Unless, big paw gets us too." Howler added, making some dogs worried and scared about big paw. Adam is very confused about big paw.
"Mind explaining about big paw?" Adam asked. "Big paw is said to be a scary creature. No one knows what it is, or what it even looks like." Bright eyes describe big paw to Adam.
Flashback at the museum.
"Me and Whopper we're exploring around the museum. He thought he found the bone of scone and tried to bite it. But it was only a dinosaur bone. He can be silly. But we did find a big paw print displayed at the museum, and it explained where he was found." Bright eyes explained further.
"You know bright eyes, big paw and I are alot alike." Whopper puts his paw up to make it look like he has the same paw size as a big paw. "Really Whopper?" Bright eyes asked. "Oh sure, our paws are the same shape." Whopper said.
"Not really though, Whopper just being Whopper. But I played along." Bright eyes narrate. "Whopper was continuing with his imagination, and this was where you would have found this piece of info about big paw." Bright eyes continue on.
She starts to read what the old papers wrote from the display. "This huge pawprint is said to have been made by the creature. And was discovered in the woods, just outside of town." Bright eyes read the info about big paw.
Flashback ends
"Whopper claims he chased him plenty of times. That's Whopper for ya." Bright eyes finish the long info. "That pup sure has a lot of imagination in his little noggin." Adam said with a smile. "You have no idea." Bright eyes replied.
"Alright, let me come along." Adam volunteers. "No way Adam, it's dangerous." Cooler rejects the idea of Adam coming. "I don't care how dangerous, it's my fault I left Whopper. And Colette too. I should've stayed and protected them. Like it or not, I have to do this." Adam argued, not caring all about the dangers. Cooler sees the determination in his eyes. It was no joke, he was serious. There was no time for debate. In the end, Adam wins the argument.
"Alright kid, welcome aboard." Cooler said. "I won't let you down." Adam replied. "Just stick with the group and you'll be fine." Beamer suggested. "Trust us, I-it's safer." Howler agrees. "Okay." Adam nods his head. "If the human is going, we'll come with. Let's get cracking." Charlemagne rolls up her sleeves. "Thanks but…nah, we need you to stay here and watch over the puppies, leave all the tracking to us dog's." Cooler said, coming across mean to cats.
Adam took note of this, remembering this. He doesn't know what to even say. He looked over to the cats with a not so happy look. Charlemagne sees he wanted to do something to defend the cats. But there was no time, so she just let it be. "You go on ahead, we'll meet again." Charlemagne assures him. "Eventually." Furball added.
Adam nodded his head and went with Cooler's group. Forced to Leave the two cats behind. "Gosh, I thought we were all friends." Charlemagne said in disbelief. "Oh." Furball spits out a hairball. "Left out again." Furball said.
Jeff and Tammy were left to think while taking care of the puplings. "Without the bone there's no exhibit." Tammy said. "There's no puppy power either." Jeff replies. "We'll have to cancel the adoption bazzar." Tammy said sadly as they watched the pound puppies leave to the woods.
On their way here, Nose Marie looked down to find something. She starts to smell the fabric. "What is it Nose Marie? Cooler wondered. She starts to process the smell, after about six seconds. Nose Marie has obtained the scent. "I smell them, it's the bad guys that took Whopper and Colette." She said with an angry look. "That means we're on the right track. Great job Nose, what would we do without your pretty nose." Cooler's complement made Nose Marie blush a little from his words. "Let's go gang." Cooler said and went ahead. Everyone else followed to go on a mission to find Whopper and Colette. And recover the bone of scone. However, unaware a mysterious silhouette figure is watching them from the fence, leaving for the woods.
Mc. Nasty castle
Within the castle that belonged to Marvin, deep into the depths. The crying and whimpering can be heard from the bulldog puppies. In another corner of the wall, resides another cage. Where one dog and one pup lie in. Colette and Whopper. Whopper starts to shiver, getting scared of the castle atmosphere. Especially the lab where the mean machine is.
"Colette, I'm getting scared. This place gives me the creeps." Whopper whimpers. Colette comforts the poor pup. "Don't worry, Whopper, have hope. I'm sure Cooler and his pals will come rescue us." Colette tells him, trying to help him to have faith. Whopper is still scared a bit, but shows signs he hasn't lost all hope. Knowing Cooler, he knows he will come to the rescue.
"Yeah, I know from what he said whenever we're in a tough spot. Coolers don't quit." He quotes from Cooler. "Atta pup." Colette replied. "You imbeciles!" Whopper and Colette recognize that nasty yell. "You numbskulls!" He knows that very voice since he followed and spied on him and his two men. "I wonder what he's up to?" Curious, Whopper puts his paw over his ear and begins to eavesdrop on the conversation.
Scenery changes to Marvin Mc. Nasty, sitting in his chambers with his robe on, next to a table, and his two men. Bones and Lumpy who have returned with some unfortunate news. Which already angered their boss. "You Idiots, how could you break the bone of scone!?" Marvin yelled at his two minions. "Uh, it was easy boss, um I'll show you." Lumpy makes excuses by bashing Bones with the half of the bone. Knowing who's to blame for jeopardizing the simple mission. "Give me that bone." Marvin commanded.
Lumpy did what he said and gave it to him. "We're sorry boss." Lumpy attempts an apology, hoping his bad mood will disappear. Marvin placed the piece of the bone of scone on the table before him, and gazed at it. The bone of scone started to glow. Like some sort of a reaction. Marvin begins to smile in a devilish greedy smile. Building some excitement for the power he longed for. "Yes yes I'll get the other half of you then." Marvin let out his evil laugh.
"The world will belong to . At last I'll be called: Mc. Nasty the TERRRRIIIBLE! My father will be proud of me. Bones, fetch me the guitar." Marvin gives Bones the order. "You got it boss." Bones salutes and rushes off to retrieve the guitar. He grabs the guitar from the wall hanger, and throws it to Marvin. He catches his guitar.
Marvin strums his guitar and begins to sing his opening verse. And proceeds to sing out loud. Loud enough for all the dogs down here to listen. "When I was just a boy, my daddy used to SAY!" Mc. Nasty sung. "This world… will be your toy, that's Mc. Nasty DESTINY!" He continues.
"I have no regrets, now with the bone in my hands…" He gets up from his chair and goes to the window. Looking outside the window from his castle. "But what is there left… to do NEXT!" He places his hand to the side of the window. Feeling sad and gloomy. "Oh who am I kidding, to be the king of everything!" And he reverts back to his evil self. Scratching the window with his sharp nails. Marvin throws the guitar to the side directly towards Lumpy who dodges out of harm's way.
Back at the laboratory, Whopper heard the mean man singing. Faking his act, sounds of crash after throwing the instrument. He suddenly hears the footsteps getting loud. Whopper puts his ears down in a swift and backs up a bit.
comes flying down by using its tippy toes slowly gliding down to the ground. Whopper and Colette watch as they witness Marvin throwing the poor pups into the metallic hand of the mean machine. The hand pulls the baby bulldogs into the machine and the machine starts shaking while sings as the lead singer while his two goons dance in the background.
The four pups in the machine started to change, and came out. No longer a pup, now a vicious guard dog. Then out of nowhere, Marvin's clothes changed into his Elvis outfit. Even his hair. Going into an Elvis phase. along with his two henchmen proceeded to just dance.
When the song and dance was over. Marvin approaches the cage where Whopper and Colette are. "And now my darlings, the time has come for you to go through my mean machine." Marvin said in his evil tone as he patted Whopper's hat. Whopper didn't like being patted by a mean man like him. "You gentlemen get the machine ready." Marvin gives the order as he cracked his knuckles. And he goes up the stairs while cackling and laughing evilly.
