In the early 1800s, in the city of Los Angeles, a man was walking in the courtyard with his wife and their infant daughter. The man's name was Samael but he let his love call him Sam. "Chloe my love, how about a rose for our little one?" Chloe Decker is her name and she sees what Sam is talking about. "Are you sure, Sam?" Samael reaches down grabs the rose and pays at the stall. "Now, I may be a humble barber but you and our little angel are all I ever needed" Chloe smiles, looks towards their baby, carry her out of the walker and into her arms. Samael reached towards the little doll that was in the walker. "Let's not forget her little friend. She likes to be part of the hug too" Just around the corner lies a man who had a lustful look on Chloe. His name is Marcus Pierce and he wants Chloe all to himself. The problem is that he can't do that while Samael is in the way. With his right-hand man, whom the locals call the Sinnerman (due to how he deals with sinners) and Marcus' authority as the judge, he gathered some police officers who managed to get Samael arrested and taken away from his family. While Samael tries to convince them that he's innocent, it doesn't change anything as he was sent to jail in Australia for a lifetime. Many years have passed and Samael have been tortured by the prisoners and occasionally by the staff too. But what kept him going was the thought of being with his family again. The smiles on their faces as they would spend time together. One day when it feels like it has been forever and his anger begins to consume him, he manages to escape his prison and wander off at sea. Beginning his journey to get back to his family.
