A few days had passed since Ryusei had gone out with Sen Tatatsuki. Whenever she was on a break from work, she'd call him and they'd just talk about their normal lives. He thought it was great to talk to someone else who wasn't on base. It wasn't that the people on the base didn't make for good conversation. It was just that many of them, almost all of them, seemed to have no social life and only cared about work. He understood that. They track and kill ghouls for a living, but nobody knows when they might die, so why not live life to the full before meeting an untimely death?

The door to Ryusei's room opened, revealing Kotaro.

"Hi Ryusei. Are you ready?" He asked.

"Yeah." Ryusei replied.

Kotaro noticed that Ryusei was wearing the Amazon Driver, even though he didn't know what it was.

Ryusei had just tried to transform himself and control his inner Amazon. Wanting to be strong enough to fight unarmed ghouls. And protect those dear to him.

"New belt?" Kotaro asked.

"You could say that." Ryusei replied.

"Ah well. Anyway, I'm here to bring you some news. Before I tell you, I don't think there's time." Said Kotaro.

"Time for what?" Ryusei asked.

"The higher-ups want you back in the field. Even Arima doesn't have a say in the matter." Kotaro replied.

Suddenly, Ryusei's fears about not being strong enough to control this thing resurfaced, making him look down.

"I understand how you feel. But when they found out about... this thing, CCG's activity increased considerably in an attempt to attract it. I've made sure that the mission you'll be leading has nothing to do with the One-Eyed Owl. It's just one mission. Do you think you can take it?" Kotaro explained.

He looked up at Kotaro and nodded.

"I think so. Besides, I've got to test this." Ryusei said, patting his belt.

Kotaro smiled, even though he didn't understand why Ryusei was saying that, and patted his shoulder.

"Very well then. Finish getting ready, I'll be outside." he said as he left the room.

Ryusei finished getting ready, and heard his phone ring. He picked it up, seeing that it was Sen calling, and answered.

"Hi Sen." He said.

"Hi Ryusei! How are you?" Sen asked.

"I'm doing fine. How are you? Are you tired from work?" Said Ryusei.

"Yeah, but talking to you helps a lot." She replied.

"Glad I could help." Smiled the young man.

"I wanted to talk to you about another appointment, if that's okay." Sen explained.

"Yeah, that's fine with me. But we should try to be quick. I've got to get to work." Ryusei explained without sounding rude.

"Oh, of course! I heard that one of my favorite horror movies was showing at a theater near my house. I was wondering if you'd like to come along." She says.

"Sure! When is it?" Ryusei asked.

"It's next Monday at 10pm. Is that okay with you?" Asked the best-selling author.

"Yeah, that's fine. What's the movie?" Says Ryusei.

" The Grudge. The American remake of Ju-On." Sen replied.

This made Ryusei laugh.

"I'm a bit surprised. The books you write don't exactly have evil spirits or ghosts." He said, amused that one of his favorite horror movies had the supernatural in it.

"I know, but the mood of the film makes me shiver and that's what I like. I should let you work. We can talk another time. Bye!" She says.

"See you soon Sen." He said before she hung up.

He then put his phone in his pocket, and left the room to see that Kotaro was waiting for him.

"Ready to go?" He asked, to which Ryusei nodded." Follow me. Akira will brief you on the mission."

He followed Kotaro down the corridor and they soon found themselves in the same room, surrounded by computers and people typing. Akira was standing in front of a giant screen showing a map.

"Akira! He's here." Kotaro said.

She turned and walked toward them.

"I hope you know it wasn't our job to take you back to the field. If we had, we'd have made sure you were completely fit." She says.

"I know. But we have a job to do." Ryusei said.

She nodded with a sad smile on her face.

"I'll brief you on the mission. Take a look at the screen." She said before continuing, seeing that he was looking at her. "Do you know where it is?

"It looks like a tower. Ryusei replied.

"Not just any tower. This tower belongs to a man called Masashi Kyomu. You may not know him, but he's an extremely famous filmmaker." she explained.

An image of the man was displayed. He was a middle-aged man with a head reminiscent of Kenpachi Zaraki in Bleach without the scars and eye patch and before the tied-back mid-length hair.

"So he's a Ghoul?" Ryusei asked.

"Yes, but not just any ghoul. He has information about the Aogiri Tree, a group of ghouls who operate in secret. We don't know much about their plans, so we need Kyomu alive so we can interrogate him. The only problem is that we have no confirmation that he has any ghoul allies with him." Akira explained.

"We knew what we were getting into when we signed up for this kind of work. It doesn't matter whether we're ready or not, we have to do what we have to do." Ryusei replied.

Kishou nodded, while Juuzo merely smiled.

"The three of you leave immediately, while Kyomu is still here. Also, Juuzo. Remember, we want Kyomu ALIVE." Akira insisted.

Juuzo mockingly greeted Akira.

"Madame, yes madame!" He said, imitating a soldier in an amused tone.

Akira simply rolled her eyes and looked at Ryusei.

"Please try to control him." She asked.

"I'll do what I can. I really can't guarantee anything." Ryusei replied.

"Let's go." Kishou said.

The three of them left the room and the base. They boarded one of the GCC trucks and were taken to Kyomu Tower.

"How about we play a game while we wait?" Juuzo suggested.

"What do you have in mind?" Ryusei asked.

"Rock, paper, scissors?" Offered the white-haired young man.

"Isn't that tower half an hour away? I don't think this game will last that long." Ryusei retorted.

"You're both lucky I brought this." Said Kishou, holding out a deck of cards.

"Why are you carrying a deck of cards? How long have you had them?" Ryusei asked.

"When I found out I was going on a mission with you, I had to find a way not to go crazy being stuck in a vehicle with you two. These cards are there for just that purpose." Kishou explained.

"What game did you have in mind?" Asked the young man.

"With the cards, there's a variety of games we can play." Kishou replied.

"Cool! Ryusei! What game do you want to play?" Juuzo asked.

"Me? I'm not really interested." Ryusei replied.

"So, does that mean I choose?"

"Yes. And nothing to do with anything dangerous. I know you like to play the knife game." Kishou warned.

"Aww..."

"I'm just going to take a nap until we get there." Said Ryusei.

"I'll wake you up once we get there." Said Kishou.

Ryusei closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep.

After half an hour, Ryusei was awakened by shaking. He opened his eyes and noticed that Kishou had his hand on his shoulder.

"We've arrived. We've arrived." he said.

He nodded and got out of the vehicle. Juuzo had already got out and was sitting on the trunk of a car. Kishou went next to the half-Amazon.

"All right, then. If any of the people in this building try to draw weapons or turn out to be ghouls, you have permission to kill on sight. Except for Kyomu. It's crucial that he be kept alive. And yes, I'm talking to you Juuzo." Said Kishou.

"Aww. Well..." Groans Juuzo, annoyed.

"If it's any consolation, you can slaughter every other hostile person, ghoul or not, we meet in there." Ryusei pointed out.

"Yeah!" Juuzo shouted with joy.

Ryusei shook his head at Juuzo's reaction. He looked more like a child than he did, even though they were almost the same age.

Kishou led the way, while Juuzo and Ryusei stayed by his side.

Juuzo and Ryusei didn't know it, but they were being watched from afar. There was a person completely covered in bandages and wearing a cape with flowers on it. She was sitting on the edge of the roof of a building, while a tall man in a white smock and wearing a red mask was seen next to the figure. He had red eyes and white hair.

"This should be interesting. Don't you think so, Tatara?" Asked the bandaged person in a feminine voice.

The man, now known as Tatara, said nothing and simply watched the events unfold.

"Good. I guess we'll watch in silence." Said the bandaged person.

As they crossed the hall, surprisingly no one was there. He'd thought there would be guards working the night shift, but that didn't seem to be the case. However, Ryusei couldn't let his guard down. Kishou and Juuzo had drawn their weapons just in case a ghoul tried to surprise them. As for Ryusei, he was ready to use the Amazon Driver.

Finally, they reached an elevator.

"Do you think it works?" Ryusei asked his mentor.

"It should. It'll save us a climb." Kishou said.

They all entered and Kishou pressed a button. The doors closed and they climbed in.

"I thought there'd be more security, but everything seems... calm." Juuzo said.

"I don't like it. They must know we're coming." Ryusei observed.

"Of course they do. In my opinion, they've decided to gather around Kyomu so as not to lose their ranks. They'll protect him at the risk of their lives." Kishou clarified.

"Then we'll just have to take theirs!" Juuzo said happily as he raised his hands, which had knives in the air.

He was definitely a bit on the psychopathic side. Ryusei wondered what he'd been through to end up like that.

The elevator stopped and the doors opened. They stepped out into a wide corridor. At the end was a double door. Ryusei assumed Kyomu was behind it. But there were a lot of doors in the corridor, making it extremely sketchy.

"Juuzo. Do you think you can attract them?" Kishou asked.

He nodded happily and rushed down the corridor. As he did so, all the doors opened to reveal people dressed in cloaks that covered their entire bodies. They were also all wearing masks to cover the upper half of their faces.

"Members of the Aogiri tree. Predictable." Kishou commented as he readied his quinque and fired a stream of light that passed through the ghouls, spilling their blood across the room without killing them.

The sight of blood splattering the walls, coupled with the smell of it, brought back Ryusei's Amazon side and he tried to get out again, causing him pain as he tried to contain it while his two colleagues confronted the ghouls.

"Oh no..." Ryusei remarked as he recalled that painful feeling from his fight with the One-eyed Owl before seeing Origin escape from his chains. "... Amazon... He wants out!"

Ryusei shouted as Origin roared in victory. In his panic, he remembered the control over Origin that his belt would give him, so he finished fastening it, whereas before it was fastened just enough so that it wouldn't fall off without activating him. Making a strange sound.

His eyes turned red as Origin stepped out of his cell. He screamed, but just as he was about to escape, his human counterpart turned the belt's left handle. The lenses then glowed bright red.

Omega!

"ARRGH! AMAZON!" Ryusei roared, his voice mixed with Origin's.

Evolu-E-Evolution!

Ryusei exploded in a green misty energy,

Ryusei exploded in a green misty energy. The foggy energy quickly faded, revealing a figure in armor. He wore a black jumpsuit and his armor was mostly green with red stripes. His helmet resembled a lizard and the helmet's eyes were red with a thin yellow horn on top, while the bottom housed a silver mouthpiece. He had a large yellow breastplate with green epaulets with red stripes on them. The armband on his left arm was now visible. The gloves looked like they had claws and fins, as well as black boots. It was Kamen Rider Amazon Omega.

This took Juuzo and the ghouls by surprise, while Kishou looked at Omega with a certain pride and a little mistrust, not knowing whether Ryusei was indeed in control given the condition of his transformation.

"I've done it... I'm in control..." Omega said in Ryusei's voice as he stared at his hands for a few seconds, while Kishou breathed a sigh of relief.

Immediately after this, Omega dashed ahead, passing Kishou to head for the first group of ghouls. One of them spotted him and tried to reveal his kagune, but Omega was too quick and cut him in half with one swipe of his claw. Blood sprouted everywhere. The other ghouls noticed Omega and Kishou and many of them turned their attention to them.

A ghoul with a Bikaku kagune tried to throw his tail at Omega to catch him. He managed to leap to the ceiling, then dived at them, thrusting his hand into the ghoul's belly. He thrust his free hand into the ghoul's head, killing it and severely damaging its brain.

He rushed forward and sliced a ghoul with a weak Ukaku kagune before they could shoot him with his sharp claws. Another ghoul tried to hit him, but Omega got underneath and grabbed his arm before ripping it off. He cried out in pain, but Omega had quickly silenced him by cutting off his head with a simple arm movement, using the flipper species on the sides of his forearms.

He was about to slice another ghoul but one with a Kokaku got in the way and blocked it. Omega grunted as they pushed him back. They tried to hit him, but he managed to cut off his kagune and the arms of both ghouls. They howled in agony and fell back to the ground holding each other's arms. Omega couldn't help feeling sorry for them as they held their bloody arms. He did his best not to think about it.

Suddenly, a ghoul with a Rinkaku kagune threw one of its tentacles at him. Omega managed to cut it off and rushed towards the ghoul. He thrust his arm into its chest, coating it with blood from the forearm to the elbow. He then pulled it away from the ghoul and let it fall to the ground, dead.

He checked on Kishou and Juuzo and saw that they were busy with other groups of ghouls.

Kishou pushed aside a ghoul and hit it on the head with his quinque before looking up at him.

"Go to Kyomu! We'll take care of this!" he said.

Omega nodded and headed for the double doors at the back. A ghoul tackled him to the ground just before he reached the door. He elbowed it in the head, knocking it off him. He turned and was about to kill her, but Juuzo beat him to it and stabbed him in the neck with two knives. He smiled at her.

"Go for it! Capture Kyomu!" He said.

He turned and threw a knife at another ghoul and dashed towards it. He planted both feet on the ghoul's chest, grabbed his knife then kicked them away before changing target.

Omega looked at the double door and kicked it open. To his surprise, Kyomu wasn't there! The room was an office, but no one was there!

Suddenly, he saw a spotlight moving and realized he was on the roof!

He looked down the corridor and saw that the ghouls were still flooding it. Juuzo and Kishou were fighting back, and doing so with ease. But they couldn't clear the corridor in time. He turned to see that the office was surrounded by glass walls. He swore inwardly.

"Let's hope this works..." he said.

He ran at full speed to the glass window and threw himself out. Almost immediately, he began to tumble and fell below the ground from which he had just jumped, but he reacted quickly and dug his claws into the glass. Fortunately, the glass didn't shatter. He began to climb, planting, withdrawing a hand and planting his claws higher into the glass and pulling himself up before starting again. He had to be careful how many blows he gave each pane, otherwise the whole wall would shatter and he'd fall to his death.

As he climbed, he heard a helicopter whirring above him. He looked up and saw that he was about to pick up Akuma! He climbed faster and managed to reach the roof. Once on the roof, he saw Akuma with two other ghouls. He saw him and pointed.

"Kill him!" Kyomu ordered.

The two ghouls drew their kagunes, which were Kokaku. Omega lunged at the duo and swung his right arm at their left. They blocked him, but he leaped over them, turned and stabbed one of them in the back with one of his arms. The ghoul grunted in pain and Omega pushed her off the roof, withdrawing his arm in the process. He heard her scream as she fell. The other ghoul swung his kagune at him, but he blocked it. Omega kicked him in the back of the knee and sliced his neck with his flippers. His head came off and the headless body fell to the ground.

Omega turned and saw that the helicopter was moving away from the roof, but it was still hovering above them. He turned to face Kyomu.

"You're all alone now, Kyomu. Nowhere to go, no one to help you." Omega said.

Kyomu gritted his teeth and revealed his kagune. His eyes widened as his kagune covered both his arms and his torso.

"What?! A Kokaku Kakuja?!" Omega said in surprise.

"That's right! You don't stand a chance! Now die!" Kyomu shouted as he rushed Omega and tried to stab him with his left arm.

Omega dodged and tried to stab him in the stomach, but his arm wouldn't go through. His kagune spread over his arms and torso, acting as a shield! He laughed and kicked her away from him.

"Weak!" Kyomu shouted, swinging his arms at his opponent.

Omega blocked both strikes with his arms and they engaged in a clash. They looked at each other, pushing against each other.

Omega then had the idea of headbutting him. He let out a grunt of pain and lowered his guard. He then aimed at his left knee and stabbed it. This made him cry out in pain and try to stab him with his right arm. Omega quickly removed his fingers from his knee and moved away from him.

He grabbed the right handle of the Amazon Driver and pulled it back sharply as a long blade formed on the grip. He quickly looked at the weapon and rushed towards his opponent.

Kyomu tried to block his strike. Omega cut his arms and managed to pierce his kagune. The blade was embedded in his arms and he let out a cry of agony as he fell to his knees in pain. He tore his sword from Kyomu's arms, who used his hands to steady himself. He landed on the ground and breathed heavily.

"M-My arms... My kagune... How...How could someone like you... do this to me?!" Kyomu shouted in shock.

"Give yourself up and follow us quietly." Omega replied simply.

"NEVER!" Kyomu shouted, rising to his feet and swinging his right arm at him. But he dodged just in time.

He leapt towards Omega and tried to stab him. He merely took a step to the side to get away from him, and Kyomu followed up with his left arm, trying to cut him. But he dodged again. This time, he raised both arms and swung them at him.

Using his weapon to block his attack, they pushed against each other once more. He stabbed him in the stomach. He pushed his arms back and withdrew the blade from his target's belly, who fell to his knees, breathing heavily.

Omega returned the Amazon Driver's handle to its place and removed the belt, making his armor disappear before he replaced it sufficiently so that it didn't activate while keeping it at his waist.

"No... It... wasn't like that... What was... supposed to happen. You... had to die..." Kyomu said weakly.

A helicopter arrived and he prepared to return fire. The helicopter swooped down and recognized the person who had emerged. She was wearing a purple suit and had blond hair.

"Akira?!" Ryusei realized.

"In the flesh! Good job for defeating Kyomu. I doubt a hundred of our men could have done better. This belt is truly prodigious." Said Akira.

"Wait, how do you know about...?" Ryusei asked.

"Arima told me about it, it's pretty impressive a belt generating a combination as powerful as a Kakuja as well as hiding a weapon. Too bad it only works on you." Akira explained, indirectly making Ryusei understand that Kishou had explained how the belt worked by hiding the part about his Amazon genes.

The door behind him opened and Kishou and Juuzo joined him. Both were covered in blood splatters.

"Bravo Ryusei. You've managed to defeat him." Congratulated the GCC reaper.

"Nice!" Juuzo complimented.

Juuzo and Ryusei gave each other a high five.

"Let's take him back to base. Come on, you three better hitch a ride." Said Akira, handcuffing a wounded and weakened Kyomu.

The five of them boarded the helicopter and returned to base. Ryusei couldn't help but feel happy; he no longer needed to be afraid of Origin, now that he had it under control. He was also glad to be back in the field.

The bandaged man applauded, even though he'd been watching the whole fight.

"It was a real spectacle! I loved seeing him get beaten up by that Amazon." she giggled happily.

"Isn't he one of us?" Tatara commented.

"Hmm. Has been. He sealed his fate when he made a deal with this guy. Make no mistake Tatara, traitors will be punished. Either by me, or by the GCC." Retorted the bandaged man.

He simply hummed in reply. They watched the helicopter take off. The bandaged man smiled to himself.

"Not bad Ryusei... Not bad at all." she said.
