Chapter 174 Not Perfect

Jin was in the park enjoying some alone time before seeing a girl the same age as him and she seems to be Japanese.

"Huh, I didn't know theres another Japanese around here." He goes to check on her.

She was looking around the park before seeing Jin coming up to her.

"Hi." Jin waves.

"Who are you?" She questions before remembering something. "Wait aren't you Jin Kuso the singer/wrestler?"

"Correct, what's your name?" He said.

"Reina Ono." She said.

"Are you new in Paris?" He said.

"Yes." She nods.

"Well if you need help around here, I can help." He said.

"Thank you. I am actually transferring into your school due to a transfer program." Reina said.

"Oh, well that's cool. Anybody else?" He asked.

"Yes another student." Reina said.

"Well let's walk around." He takes her for a tour.

He takes her to the Eiffel Tower first.

"Going up." He said as they entered the elevator.

They went up to the top and sees the view of Paris

"What do you think?" He asked.

"Its beautiful." Reina said in awe of the view.

He smiles. "Yeah. Nothing beats coming here and see the city."

She nods in agreement.

"So what do you want to do now?" He asked.

"I still want to see more of the city." Reina said.

"Well let's go back down."

She nods as they leave the tower, the two went down the streets.

"So how does it feel hanging out with a famous star?" He said.

"It is actually nice. You're not struck up like some people." Reina said.

"I wasn't like this guys ever, I do this because its a passion."

"Passion is good." She said.

He nodded at her and they went to the Park.

"So where do you live?" He asked.

"I am getting a apartment soon. Right now I am staying at a hotel." She said.

"Well I can visit you there." He said.

"That might be a bit inappropriate." Reina said a bit hasty.

"Why? I could visit you more times?" He said.

"W-well yeah but a boy and a girl alone in the same place might give people the wrong idea." She said.

He blinks. "Then I could ask a friend to come that's a girl too."

"T-that works." She said a bit hesitate.

"Good, I hope you don't mind." He smiles.

She smiles back though it hides her real thoughts.

They went around town before Jin went back home.

Marinette saw him come back.

"Hey Jin." She said.

"Hey, I just met the transfer student." He said.

"Oh we're getting a new student?" Marinette asks.

"Not sure, but maybe it's a temporary one."

"Yeah. Hope they enjoy their time here." She said.

"Yeah, say are we getting a new neighbor?"

"I think so." Marinette said.

"I should meet them."

"We both should. Maybe bring them some bread?" Marinette suggest.

"They might like it."

She nods as she looks at which bread they should give them.

After that they headed there, it was a small apartment building their new neighbor was living in.

Jin knocks on the door.

"Coming!" He hears a familiar voice.

It opened and they saw Reina wearing a t shirt and shorts and her house was a mess.

"Reina?!" He got surprised.

"J-J-Jin?!" She exclaims in embarrassment.

Marinette got surprised at the mess inside.

"S-so messy." She mumbles in shock.

"How did this happen?" Jin said.

Reina then becomes very red, she brings them in to avoid others seeing it.

Marinette then looks around seeing it was more messy than she thought.

"I thought you were more organized than this." Jin said.

"I-I'm not good at cleaning or cooking." Reina said looking down.

"So you've been living in filth." Marinette said.

Reina nods causing them to sigh before they start grabbing garage.

"Well I can't let you live in this." Jin said.

"W-what?" Reina questions.

"We'll help you clean up and teach you how to keep this place clean." Marinette said.

"Just don't tell anyone." She said.

"Don't worry, i'll make sure you keep it clean." He said.

"Thank you." She said relieved.

"And we'll be helping you how to keep it clean."

Marinette nods in agreement.

Reina got surprised.

"A-are you sure?" Reina asks.

"Yeah, it's what friends do." Jin smiles.

She smiles too.

They started to clean the place and it was now spotless.

"That's better." Marinette said with a smile.1

"So how did this happen? I thought you were the perfect girl type." Jin looks at Reina.

She rubs her arm.

"I'm not perfect." Reina said.

"I can see that. But how come this all happened?"

"I'm not very good at cleaning or cooking so I kinda get takeout mostly." Reina said.

"Well, I could help you out." Jin said.

"Really?" She asks.

"Of course. I can help you not live with trash."

"Me too. I can help you too." Marinette said.

She smiles at them. "Thanks."

"Oh right we brought you some bread." Marinette said handing her a couple loafs.

"Oh thanks." She takes it

"We have a bakery." Jin said.

"That sounds nice. You can bake delicious bread and cakes." She said.

"Well yeah, we have that Boulangerie Patisserie that's near." Jin said.

"Oh I think I had seen it." Reina said.

"Our family runs it." Marinette said.

"A family business." Reina said.

They nodded.

"So you help with baking and selling?" Reina asks.

"Well yeah." Jin said.

"Must been nice." Reina said.

"Yeah, it's nice working with family." Jin said.

"I see." Reina said.

They then started to help her take care of herself.

First up was cooking which was pretty bad at first. But after following a recipe she got the hang of it.

Next was the cleaning which was harder, she kept making it worse causing them to facepalm.

"Dust first, sweep second, and then mop." Marinette instructs.

"Okay." She said.

She finally gets it down making them relieved.

After they were done the place is cleaned.

"I-its so clean." Reina said stunned.

"Yeah, just remember to keep it like that." Marinette said.

"I will." Reina said.

They smiled and a few days later, they were in shock it was back to the way it was with Reina on the floor crying.

"How?" Marinette questions stunned.

"I'm too useless." She said.

"You're not useless. You're just... need to practice more." Marinette said.

Jin starts to clean up. "Why do you have trouble cleaning up?"

Reina cries as she gets up to help but she trips on a can and falls on top of Jin.

They looked at each other and she blushes.

She then quickly gets up.

"You okay?" He said.

"Y-yeah." She said.

"Say, has anyone been giving you trouble?" Jin asked.

"Actually, I have been getting this feeling lately. That someone has been following me and looking at me but when I look there's nobody." She said.

He frowns. "Then i'll be with you."

"R-really?" She blushes.

He nodded. "Yes, I don't want you hurt."

She blushes even more.

They went out together as Marinette had to go back home. Reina blushes a bit more during this as this was liked a date.

Jin looks around for anyone that's trying to get close to her, he then sees the Mirror monsters looking out too making him smile a bit.

'Nothing right now.'

He and Reina got some crepes since they were a bit peckish.

"Well how are you doing in Paris these days?" He asked.

"Really good thanks to you and Marinette." Reina said.

"Well i'm happy. I'll go get some drinks."

"Thank you." Reina said.

He goes out to get some drinks from a store but then when he returned he saw some guy talking to her. He slightly frowns as he wonders if that was the stalker.

He gets close to hear about it.

"So it was you Kai." She frowns.

"I was just looking out for you. How about we go out?"

"I am busy." Reina said.

"Come on." He holds her arm.

"Let go of me!" Reina said trying to get him to let go of her.

"Hey!" Jin pulls them appart. "Leave her alone."

"Stay out of this." Kai glares at him.

"Why should I? You were harrasing my friend."

"Kai why are you doing this?" Reina demands.

"Why? Ah, I get it... You don't get it, huh?" He questions. "But how could you not get it? I'm crazy about you?"

"For what exactly." Jin frowns.

"Because she is perfect." Kai said.

"Are you kidding me, she's far from it."

"What are you talking about?" Kai glares at Jin.

"She's not perfect at all. What are you doing is protecting your feelings."

"Shut up! Ever since we came here, she's been acting different! Ever since she started spending time with you, she's been acting super weird!" Kai said face red.

"Did you even ask her? Because your just making her be what you want."

"Gimme back the old Reina who was always flawless!" Kai demands.

She then yells. "Be quiet!"

"But Reina! You need someone perfect like me!" Kai shouts.

"I am not perfect, I can't cook, I can't clean and... I even like to be on natural during the weekends!" She told them truth.

This surprises the both of them. Kai was shocked that she isn't perfect while Jin, he was getting a few ideas.

"Say what?! W-what are you even talking about?!" Kai exclaims

"Basically sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not perfect." Reina said.

"It's the truth." Jin said.

"H-hold on, stop messing with me!" Kai said holding the sides of his head.

"Did you only like her because she's perfect?" Jin questions.

"I refuse to accept that you're not perfect! If you're not perfect, then!" Kai trembles.

"Just give it up, your just in denial, this is who she is now leave." Jin said.

Then some people drags Kai away.

Jin smiles at Reina. "now it's over."

She smiles and holds his arm. "Thanks Jin."

The two of them walked forward as she can finally be herself and not be seen as perfect.
