Niort. Our heroes have successfully arrived at the Place of the Breach with the Olympic Flame, the Phryges are coming in with huge numbers. At the Halles de Niort, the heroes are shopping for their needed supplies for their journey to Paris. They kept the Olympic Flame safe in an antique lantern and went along with the Phryges. Just then, they noticed the colourful blobs coming together as a family. There are blobs in a diverse colourful pattern, with the pink one being the largest of them all. The heroes approach the blobs and greeted them.
"Salutations and bonjour! We are the Barbapapas! I am capable of shapeshifting and we are one warm family that embraces everyone with my wife Barbamama!" greeted the pink blob. "And those are my family! Barbabravo, Barbazoo, Barbabright, Barbabeau, Barbalala, Barbabelle and Barbalib!"
The team welcomed the Barbapapa gfamily onto their group. During the journey, Gaulois felt a bit uneasy and spoke out. He felt that if there are too many members on the team, this might complicate the situation and hinder the journey's progress. Gaulois then told Spirou about the overcrowding issue that he might face later on, so he made a suggestion by whispering into his ear.
"Alright you all, listen up! We are having an important meeting here, because I think that journey is getting overcrowded. In order to ease the burden on us, I suggest that we have to go forth in separate teams instead!" Spirou announced, and the team listened.
"Now, we shall split into two teams. The first one shall guard the Olympic Flame during the journey. The second one which is us shall head to Paris and keep ourselves alert for any villains who are concocting plans against us. We will be the informants or the communications division!" Spirou announced.
Fantasio added, "I think someone here wants to say something…." The other group of Phryges are willing to join Spirou's team in separate directions, yet they miss Gaulois very much.
"What? You wanna join them? Well then, I am not stopping you. I know some of you will miss me, but we will meet up in Paris sooner."Gaulois assured it. The Phryge then nodded. And it came forward to the second batch of Phryges that are joining Spirou's group.
"Who's coming with Spirou and me? Those of you who want to, please kindly raise your hand!" Inspector Gadget ordered. The other raised their hand, which meant that they approved.
"Great! Now that there are teams in separate routes, we shall continue our journey to Paris!" Spirou added.
"Good luck heroes! All the best to you on keeping us safe for the road to Paris!" Madeline waved goodbye.
"Will do!" Spirou replied back. He and Fantasio led Boule and Bill, The Space Goofs, Inspector Gadget, Miguel, the Marsupilami onto the left and went off.
Madeline and Gaulois are now in a team of their own with the Pink Panther, the Barbapapas, Asterix, Obelix, Rayman, Pepito, Getafix and Dogmatix. Their group are now holding the Olympic Flame, ready to set off for Paris once more. They continued their journey until dusk, where the sky turned dark with unpleasant sounds ready to appear more than once. Lightning came out from nowhere, with the thunderous sounds that followed.
"Wait a second…. Do I hear thunder?" Rayman turned around and saw Gaulois. He was quivering in fear, like an anxious French poodle hiding from the noise of fireworks. He turned arounda and asked, "Why are you hiding, Gaulois?"
"I actually don't like thunderstorms, I admit. Whenever there are thunderstorms around, it gives me the creeps and sends shivers down my spine like a small lightning bolt that causes blackouts!" Gaulois replied. "They make me look like a total chicken in comparison!"
At the Niort Dungeon, it was dark and frightening haunted house. They found several clues along woth the Phryges, and it was a message that contained scribbled drawings and writings that led to a port!
"That could be Port Boinot! Probably have to find a safe hiding place before I get struck by lightning…"
The team headed over to Port Boinot, and everything was almost pitch-black. A spooky atmosphere engulfed the entire city in darkness, with cries of fear coming from the nyctophobic children.
"A blackout?! Wonder who caused this to happen?" Rayman asked. "We can't see in the dark in order find the root cause!" He then found the renewable power station, with crackling energy indicating the source of the chaotic events. "Come on guys! I found the root cause!"
When they were about to reach the power station, they heard a villainous voice. "I think an interruption would be in order for your extermination." A Chinese villain dressed in traditional Japanese attire emitted fiendish aura that sparks of electricity were sent flying throughout appeared, ready to impede their progress.
"Raiden Shogun is the name of your doom. Your execution date begins today." replied the Chinese villain. "Electrocution chairs are not needed, since I am the alternative here that can destroy you all in one swoop! If you do not want to be electrocuted, you should let me extinguish the Olympic Flame nice and slowly."

The sky was cloudy with thunderstorms, and lightning struck everywhere, causing several Phryges and heroes to fall back. Gaulois was shivering in fear, hiding in a barrel. Pepito and Asterix noticed him and quickly lifted the lid.
"Am I gonna be charbroiled into chicken stew by lightning again?" Gaulois asked weakly.
"No, you aren't." Asterix replied. "You have to overcome your fears by facing them, by toutatis!"
"Even if you are scared, you must remember that only cowards run, heroes fight! You must take her down and teach her a lesson before she does something bad to us!" encouraged Pepito. Gaulois felt that they were right, and tumbled out of the barrel. Astraphobia was on his side, with him heading towards Raiden Shogun with care.
Getafix saw this and he gave Barbapapa an invincibility potion. Barbabpapa drank it and went over to Gaulois side. "All change!" Barbapapa shouted as he shapeshifted into a shield, ready to aid Gaulois against the lightning-powered villain. Gaulois then took out his musketeer sword, and charged towards him, shouting, "For Paris!"
Madeline and Asterix rode on Obelix to deal the finishing blow, with their combined attacks that struck Raiden Shogun so hard that she was sent flying into the sky.
"Why…. Why would I lose to such miserable vermin….!" growled Raiden Shogun.
The coastal city of Le Sable D'Olonne awaits our heroes, with a separate direction for them in different teams on the same mission.
Meanwhile in the Paris lair for villains….
"I was a fool to think that you would be such an incompetent bungler." Lila Rossi remarked. "Who in the right mind will ever come up with a plan that went wrong for all of a sudden?!" Chloe Bouergouis fumed. "IS THERE ANYTHING THAT IS POSITIVE ON SUCCESS?"
Lila Rossi looked at this and she ordered an evil Chinese figure to come to her side. "Zhounima, will you please come over here with Captain Chantal Dubois?"
"Currently, I have several villains at my disposal. The first one is SkyAgentJAKE, whose codename is Jake. Karine, her codename: Yumeko-chan. She is closest with SKyAgentJAKE. Those loathsome heroes shall have a taste of their own medicine when they arrive in the next area with villains at my disposal!"
