ranma universe chapter 1 expanding his world
This is my crossing over ranma and Tenchi universe with elements of Tenchi muyo. There are elements of both series I like, and elements added to the Tenchi muyo canon added later I want to use
For the placing in the ranma series before episode 160 of the old series and will cover my modified version of ova series 1 episodes 1-4
but I will switch over to universe with the next chapter later next year from the release of this chapter 11/22/23
Ranma pov
It was the summer of my second year of school that I received a letter from someone claiming to be my grandfather saying "I am your mother's father and will let you know she died many years ago and without an heir to myself, I am willing to adopt and get away from whatever training your father has put you through. If you come to the Misaki shrine we can talk about all the details."
I knew I was starting to get really tired of all the insane situations my father has been putting me through over all these years, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to hear my grandfather out. I had only vague memories of my mother and knew guessed the only way a mother would let her son go on dangerous training missions was if she was dead.
For the location and about the Misaki shrine, I decided to ask Cologne. When I talked to the old woman and learned from her "that shrine is very old, and legend has it there's a demon sealed there from over seven hundred years ago. Long before even my youth. What is your connection to it?" I replied, "my dead mother's father lives there and wants to talk to me." the old woman said "you are of that linage, so all your power makes so much sense. I suggest you talk to the man and see what blessings and inheritance you can get from him. It will be very enlightening and a better fate than that deadbeat of a father can give you. At worst you get a regular place to train at and best you take over the shrine."
It was then I went to the shrine and learned from my grandfather that he wanted me to become his heir and change my name to Ranma Misaki. He said I could even start an all-new branch of the anything-goes martial arts school and would help me add to it with his personal marital arts teachings. Before I could say yes, the man said, "If you agree to my deal, I will throw in the home you grew up in with your mother and include a live-in butler to help clean it up." that was the final clencher and I said, "gramps you have a deal." He then replied "before you moved in, I will train you over the summer while the butler cleans up the place."
It was after that, he told me about the shrine and the demon sealed within and said "our ancestor Yosho sealed the demon Ryoko seven hundred years ago, please don't do anything to break her seal. They had a long battle that devastated the land." then he pointed to a strange tree and said, "this tree is the only thing left over from the battle, it is just as much a part of the seal to the demon."
After that, I trained with the man in both armed and unarmed combat for weeks and was mostly happy about not having to deal with finances or people wanting to kill me. I knew I was starting to miss Akane and my other friends but knew I would see them and even show them my new house in the city when all this training was over. He then showed me around and told me during summer trips I would play around the shrine when my mother was still alive and until my father took me away on long training trips.
It was during one of our training sessions, my grandfather learned of my curse and said to me, the woman you turned into seems very familiar, but I can't place where I know her from. Then I told him about my curse and the others I knew of curses and learned "I am sorry, but that curse is unbreakable, but compared to the others you didn't get the worst end of the deal, you can still fight and at least still have a human form. I would suggest using protection if you decide to have intercourse with a male but its not that much a problem. I can even help you with some tricks to manage said curse." with that he showed me some tricks to keep from changing during times I didn't want to, and to change back and forth when I did want to.
It was after a little longer that Ryoga ended up at the shrine through pure luck and challenged me to a battle. We clashed over and over until the fight ended up at the sealed area. I had mostly avoided it due to my past encounters with insane fantastic creatures but while fighting the lost boy, that seemed to be in love with both my girl side and Akane but for now he seemed pissed off about me being gone and may have been guided to this location.
It was our fight that broke the seal on the shrine and ended up with me grabbing the sword that sealed it. As I tried to the blade, I learned the blade itself was rusted but the hilt still felt like it was full of ki. But as we clashed, we soon broke the last seal and ended up in a strange chamber filled with light. But as soon as we entered Ryoga seemed to come out of the daze he was in and said "I have to go back to Akane since you aren't doing that now. She is getting very lonely without you." I told the boy, "Please tell her I am sorry, and I will try and see her in a few days."
It was as he left; my curiosity got the best of me as I explored the chamber further only for a strange mummy to attack me and try to get the sword hilt from me. but before she could do much. I fought her off and tried my best to close the seal and then told my grandfather I needed to talk with my fiancé about the details and check on the new house. he said I could but told me "Your house isn't ready yet, so stay the Tendo family tonight and come back in a few days."
It was when I around and went to the school, I ended up being attacked by the now regenerated Ryoko, who now looked like a very buxom woman that was about the same age as I was. She was clearly not happy about being sealed and attacked me over my ancestor, sealing her away. We soon battled in an old building, and I was able to use her own emotions to blow her away and take her out with the storm move I used to defeat the creator of the style and left her buried in pieces of the building. But after she came out, I discovered the hilt in my clothes and used it to form a light blade. But as she saw it the charred woman left me as I said sorry.
But after looking myself over, I noticed I turned into a girl that that was the reason Ryoko ran way, due to not knowing I could change. With that I knew I had to return to the shrine and see if there was anything I could do. But in my room, I discovered a sleeping Ryoko and knew my troubles would only get worse. Then wondered if my grandfather knew of this woman was Ryoko and if I broke the shrine.
It was when I talked to the man, he said "this woman could be the demon Ryoko but if she is, this Ryoko isn't as bad as the legends say. I suppose we can let her stay and even set her up to live in the house and go to school with you. Since you defeated this girl, she is your responsibility to keep her under control. I also suggest you start to get her caught up on the modern world and reveal your curse to her."
It was soon enough; I revealed my curse and taught the woman to use basic things to keep herself entertained enough so that I wouldn't have to keep her busy myself. But I would try to get the laser sword called the Tenchi blade from me time to time with that my grandfather said my name was supposed to be Tenchi before my father nixed it, but said blade couldn't be used by her to had the ball power source removed unless I could figure out how and want to give them.
But little did I know someone had arrived from space outside the earth's atmosphere and I would have another problem to deal with. I learned parts of the problem from Ryoko herself as she told me, both her and Yosho came from outer space, and she was a space pirate under a man she no longer remembered. She had caused large amounts of damage throughout this galaxy and may still be wanted, but it was possible those crimes could've been forgotten after so much time had passed. the woman did want the jewels in the sword to control her ship Ryo-ohki but couldn't steal my sword due to me being bonded to it.
Ryoko did tell me she needed her ship to battle someone currently outside earth now, but I didn't completely trust her. but I was worried about the person coming and soon enough she came and fired on my grandfather's house. That shot did little damage but left me shocked in soaked and as a girl in Ryoko's bosom. I then gave the minimum one gem to Ryoko, and her ship came out of the lake with a meow. That left me hoping it wasn't really a cat as we took off in the ship and she took my grandfather's house with us in a shrunken down form.
But it wasn't long until the enemy ship captured Ryo-ohki with the two of us inside. I soon woke up left in a cage while Ryoko was being tortured by an alien girl. I soon tried to break out of the cage, but once I sensed another person, I figured it would be best to get her to free me instead of trying it myself. I discovered it was a young girl of about eight years old, then through talking, I learned the girl's name was Sasami and she was from a planet called Jurai. With the verbiage the girl used for me, I figured I was still in my girl form and decided it would be best to stay in said form until I could get free of the ship. I did learn the girl shared control of the ship with her big sister and had been asleep for a very long time.
I soon convinced Sasami to help me get back the Tenchi sword by breaking into her sister's bedroom. But before that I learned both sisters came here from Jurai to find their older brother. But after that, I was able to break into the room and get the blade with ease. But soon after that, I had to avoid strange log objects firing energy beams at me but soon got Sasami to lead me to Ryoko's prison and helped me free my new friend.
But not long after I did, the other girl Ayeka came into the room to stop Ryoko from tapping into the gem's power. but not long after that Ayeka asked me "what happened to the owner of that blade?" I in turn replied "I am the current owner but as for Yosho my ancestor, he is likely long dead. It has been over seven hundred years since time of legend." That made Ayeka crestfallen and then deny the fact he could be dead. But part of me thought "if Yosho is the brought of these two, it was possible he could be alive." I knew both Shampoo's grandmother and Happosai were pretty old.
But soon the girl used her stone pillars to attack me but before they could, I was able to use the sword to take control of part of the ship and summon Ryoko's ship to help get us free. But not long after that Ryoko used her ship to crash both ships into the lake and left the house near it. both thankfully all of us got to safety but both ships were completely destroyed and that left all three girls stranded on earth with me and in the house. I had already started teaching Ryoko about the modern world and Sasami seemed like she would be easy enough, but Ayeka still seemed Leary. Sasami was eager to learn and would devour every book in the house. it helped that the Jurai language was close enough to Japanese for her to understand. She didn't know all the details, but I had a feeling the original founders of Japan may have come from Jurai.
It was talking to my grandfather, that I learned the house i was raised by my mother in was being greatly expanded and repaired and that's why it was taking so long. He pretty much said it would be a mansion and would be ready by the time school started again. I was sure he may have meant for me to live with several people if I needed to. The Tendo house was big, but this would be bigger. Part of the reasoning he gave me was to teach students in the anything -goes style.
As for Ayeka, I let her Borrow the Tenchi sword until she figured out what to do. But I think being in a state of suspended animation so long while waiting for a brother that moved on from her was weighing on the girl. from what I could get her physical age was only seventeen and she could use school to help her as much as it helped me.
It was while I was training in the morning that I saw Ryoko dive in the water and come out with a black egg like nothing. She wasn't even wet at all. But I would deal with that after breakfast. On the cooking point, it turns out Sasami was willing to help me cook meals and could even cook the exotic animals living in the mountains. It ended up being a week later that Ayeka left the room to join me for breakfast.
It was during breakfast we got the shock about the egg as Ryoko tried to say it was my child and being an alien, I couldn't deny she may have been able to have children in a way that didn't include sex. But I wasn't long until Ryoko passed me the egg and soon it hatched into a creature that was a mix of cat and rabbit. Then Ryoko clarified the creature is the core of her ship and was reborn from it. said clarification helped Ayeka's view of me but it wasn't long the creature jumped around and hit me with a class of water and revealed to the others, I could turn into a girl and thus I had to explain about my curse and how I control it as I used warm water to turn back.
Ayeka was still not happy with me getting along with Ryoko and soon ran into my grandfather's arms and once she got a good look at the old man, Ayeka seemed to see something about him. I think Ryoko's constant probing wasn't good for Ayeka's already fragile mental state, and something would have to happen to help her out. I think the biggest thing affecting this girl that could be considered my great aunt, was the fact unless something changed she couldn't return home and tell the rest of her family that she was alive. I think one thing that was helping the girl was the cat rabbit or cabbit.
I think one thing that was helping the girl was the cat rabbit or cabbit creature Ryo-ohki, one thing I was thankful about the creature was it looked just rabbit enough to not trigger my cats and reaction to cats caused by my father's insane training. It was a few hours later that the purple haired girl got to see me for my sword training and the methods my grandfather used. While training and seeing Ayeka to the side, I could tell she knew more about the sword style I was being taught that even I knew.
But it was in the middle of said training Ayeka hurt herself and got me hurt. From that I Learned Ayeka's blood was the same red color as human. It also seemed that my grandfather wasn't getting close to Ayeka for some reason, and I was starting to guess he very well could be Yosho, but I couldn't be sure yet. But on our way back to the house, it started to rain and with me a girl we had to find a place for us to wait out the rain. Said place turned out to be where the spare vegetables were stored and soon that lead to the cabbit pushing the two of us even closer.
Then once I turned back to male, we began to talk about Ayeka's feeling as I told her about mine. about the fact I had suddenly got a new family and what I would have to deal with again once I went back to school. Then she told me, about her bother Yosho and how his fight with Ryoko ended up with her on the hunt. Then it came to me telling Ayeka about my curse and how I learned to deal with it and adapt to sometimes being a girl. I finally told the girl, that someone likely wanted the seal broken now and that this whole thing was likely planned by a third party that I didn't know.
After the rain stopped, we wandered around the property until ending up at the sacred tree and from that, we learned it was her brother's ship-tree and that it was stuck on earth with her brother likely alive as well, but we couldn't be sure until we found him. she did have the tree show us the battle and in said battle Ryoko seemed to be under some kind of control. But after seeing the result and knowing the fact her brother could be alive. Ayeka seemed more ready to get used to life on earth if she needed to.
After that, Ryoko met us again as Ayeka passed the blade back to me and I knew dealing with Ryoko and life on earth would help this sheltered princess expand her own life views. I would be happy to help with such. It wasn't long until I got my grandfather to act as Ayeka and Sasami's legal guardian and sign them both up for school. Ayeka would go to high school with me and Sasami would go to the elementary school that was close to mine.
We had one last thing to do by the end of the summer and that was a trip to a hot spring owned by one of my mother's cousins. My grandfather explained Ayeka and Sasami off as family from abroad and Ryoko as a homeless person we picked up. it was during the trip, I discovered my dad along and soon Happosai, my father just wanted to bathe but the old pervert ended up both beaten by my grandfather and then Ryoko. But it wasn't long after that, the demon girl that was Ryoko brought me up to the woman's bath. I was preparing to shift to girl form but it was tricky with the busty woman getting so close.
I ended up getting to see Ryoko naked but was barely phased beyond her getting close. But not long after that, Ryoko dragged Ayeka out and then stripped the princess of her towel. I then got to learn, she had much more of a bust that she showed through clothing as I shifted into girl form. but it seems neither girl cared about it as the two began to fight. the battle started with slaps then started to shift into a magical battle with Ayeka trying to use her pillars to seal the demon woman, but when that failed Ryoko summoned various evil spirits into a spirit beast that even she couldn't control.
It wasn't long before the evil spirit started to get strong enough to warp space as it began to rampage. I then got the Tenchi sword and tried to battle it but as I prepared to there be a rip in space caused by a ship that sucked up the spirit and I had to save the pilot as the rip nearly sucked me in. After the hole closed, I was able to land with the strange blond girl successfully.
After she came to, we learned this girl was a member of the galaxy police and from Ayeka and Sasami I learned they didn't know about the galaxy police, or they had yet to form before the two sisters left Jurai. We learned the police girl was named Mihoshi as she tried to arrest Ryoko and Ryo-ohki but Ayeka corrected Mihoshi with "there's no point, first Ryoko hit the statue of limitations and second you have no ship to get back.
After that, we spent a few days repairing the damage the battle caused, and my grandfather used his car to take me and the girls to my new house while taking my father back to the Tendo home. At the entrance to said house, I was greeted by a young boy in a suit that called himself Yukimura Kusunoki.

The next chapter won't be until at least next year
In two weeks issei and Shirou will have to train
But first Ichigo will arrive at the waystation to learn of the greater problems the Greek and roman heroes will have to face with a fallen god
