Hina died choking on a vegetable. Such a mundane death should not have facilitated the start of such change. But just as the wings of a butterfly can blow a hurricane, Hina's arrival into this new world will shift the sands of the Elemental Nations for generations to come. 22. Chapter 22

Hi all! Sorry for this update if it's disappointing. Hopefully, it'll have a positive spin for some. As most of you know, Shifting Sands is actually a rewrite of my OG story Snap Back to Reality. This was a lighter take on the story without much ROOT elements. The other one can be a bit dark for some readers, which is why I wrote Shifting Sands. But it's become increasingly hard to continue this story with a lighter tone when my initial vision for the story entailed exploring darker themes.

I didn't stop writing Snap Back because of any issue with the writing style and such, so I will be continuing it from where I left off (sans a few chapters I'm deleting and reworking).

Thank you all so much for all your support and love for this story.

Hina's adventures won't be ending. You can still read them in Snap Back to Reality. Hopefully, I will see you all there for the next update.
