Chapter 15
Shikaku let out another sigh. "you two are troublesome you know that?" He questions them.
"We know that." Naruko said with a smile. As Naruto smirked in agreement. "But this is facts that we need you to know and we need to keep a step ahead of that bastard." Naruto said with annoyance.
"I'll have to set up a meeting with the Hokage and Lady Tsunade." He told the Uzumaki twins. "You know it is strange to see you both as twin." He told them as they both just nodded but just grin.
"Well we are now siblings, so everyone will just have to just get use to us." Naruko said as Naruto just nods.
With that said Shikaku stands up. "Come on you two. Let's head to the Hokage's Tower." He told the two after he put the tea back into the kitchen so his wife wouldn't try to kill him for the mess.
Hokage's Office
Tsunade sits behind the Hokage's desk as she looks at the paperwork before her. "Some of this paperwork is pointless." She told him.
"I know. Most of them are from the civilian council." Sarutobi said with a sigh.
"Also I would like to appoint my own elders. Yours have outlived their service to the village." Tsunade told him as he nodded his head to her.
"Who would you like to appoint as your Elders?" Sarutobi questions her.
She tilted her head looking at looking at him. "I know one will be Shikaku Nara. As I trust his council. Maybe the other Shibi or Hizashi." She told him with a smirk as she watches the old man's face.
"I am not sure about Hizashi as he is…a little bit of a stick in the mud." Sarutobi told her with a slight chuckle at his little joke.
She chuckles. "I know he is a stick in the mud. But he is honest. Well when it comes to getting what he wants." She told him as Sarutobi nods his head in agreement. "But with Shikaku by his side. It is equally balance." She told him.
A knock comes from the door.
"Come on." Said Sarutobi.
The door opens revealing Shikaku, Naruko, and Naruto coming into the office as said man held some sort of documents in his hands.
"Hokage-sama, Lady Tsunade." Shikaku greets them.
"Jiji, baa-chan." Naruto and Naruko said as one as they both grin watching the tick mark appear on Tsunade's forehead.
"Shikaku-kun, what brings you here this afternoon?" Asks Sarutobi with a grandfatherly smile.
"We are here to speak about the up-and-coming Chunin Exams." Shikaku told him and Tsunade with a slight smile.
"Ah." Said Tsunade as she understood his meaning. "Then we need to place the privacy seal up." She tells him as Naruto nods his head and stops his foot as the room turns orange for a moment and the glow fades away.
Shockingly couple explosions go off in the village. "Damn spies." Grumbles Naruto as ANBU leave the office to capture Ibiki's new playthings.
"What do you have in those documents?" Asked Tsunade looking at him.
Shikaku smirks. "Oh nothing. I just wanted to make it look like we are going to be busy for a few hours so no one will bother us." He told them as they just nodded their heads.
Tsunade laughs. "That was wise thinking." She told him as she looks over at her old sensei. "See." She told him. Making Shikaku arch an eyebrow at what these two are talking about.
Sarutobi waves him off. "Don't worry about it Shikaku-kun." He tells him with a smile. "Now let's get down to business." He told the man.
Several Hours Later
Naruto stands up and stretches. "Okay. I have had enough of this. I need out of here." He tells them as he needed to get out and run or do something as he was sitting for far too long.
"I think we have planned for all we are able to. Tomorrow morning I will begin Shinbo boot camp." Tsunade said with an evil giggle.
The two Genin shivered as they are grateful they do not have to take part in this. But their sensei does. So their team meeting would be later in the morning. "Gai will be loving this." Naruko said with a giggle as the man is insane.
I'm stopping here as I'm stump next chapter will be Tsunade's boot camp
