Bella was in the Amp warehouse, sitting on the sofa, watching her latest video on the TV. She was the only one in that room, as the others were filming videos either for their channel or the main Amp World channel. She was eating some Doritos. Her fingers were covered with the Doritos dust. She was alone in that room, and she didn't want to go all the way across the room to wash her fingers, so she licked her fingers. At that moment Brent, Andrew, Ben and the Stokes twins barged in through the door.

"Ew! Did you just lick your fingers Bella!" Brent yelt after catching Bella, "I knew you were a disgusting creature, lil sis, but I never expected you to turn into a dog!"

"Shut up Brent," Bella retorted, " at least I don't smell like I've never had a bath!"

That did it, Brent had started a fight, he threw a pillow at her, and it hit her square on the head. Bella fell backward and cussed. She started tearing up.

"shoot, bro! You really hit her!" surprised Andrew said.

"She's crying man!" Ben said " She never cries!"

Bella was still acting as if she were crying. She was pretending to hold on to her head and trembling. The Stokes twins were hovering around her, trying to see if she was alright. Brent was really falling for her act; he started going towards her. That's when the others, Lexi, Liv, Dom, and Jeremy, walked in as they had finished filming.

"What in the world just happened here?" Liv asked, confused when she saw Bella crying on the floor.

Jeremy and Dom raced to her and started asking her questions. Jeremy was panicking and didn't know how to help her. Dom's mind was blank; his crush was on the floor, breaking down, which was not at all like her. Lexi had already found out that Bella was just acting, so she stayed put in her place with a big grin cause she knew what exactly was going to happen next.

Brent got really worried; he had never seen his sister cry except for the one time he had asked her about her ex. He started walking towards her, thinking of words he should say to her to make her stop crying. Then suddenly, when he was right next to her, she went dead still. Brent was very confused now and stopped moving; that's when she got up and leg swept him. Brent fell backward and hit flat on his bottom. He sat up, groaning in pain.

"Belly! That hurt!" he cried, "I said I was sorry, you spoiled brat!"

Bella started giggling at the scene; everyone else was very perplexed; they didn't understand what was going on except for Lexi, who was Laughing hard.

"That's what you get for bullying me, Brent." Bella threatened, "The next time you do this, I'll tell Mom."

Lexi and Bella hugged each other and were laughing even harder when Brent started scowling. Jeremy and Dom looked relieved. It was like their hearts had stopped for a minute. The others started laughing at Brent's foolishness. Bella turned to walk towards Jeremy and Dom still continuing to laugh.

"Hey Dom and Jeremy! I didn't know you guys liked me so much that you guys were worried sick!" Bella said with a flirty grin, "More like panicking!" Lexi added. Dom and Jeremy turned red, but not the same dark red Bella used to turn into.

Bella had changed a lot in a year. She was not the same pale, brown hair and chocolate brown eyed girl she was. Bella had tanned now. Her chocolate brown eyes had turned amber. Her hair was light brown in color with blonde highlights and bangs. She wasn't slender anymore, she had an hourglass figure now. Bella wasn't the simple, plain girl in the class; now she wore makeup (not a lot, tho). She preferred wearing tank tops and shorts or short clothes really, than the long sleeves or jeans she used to wear. She also wore bikinis, which was very unlike her. She had started wearing heels now and was comfortable with them but she didn't love them exactly. Bella had become an independent woman. She was an extrovert, liked socializing and loved partying (A/N: Do you guys want her to drink? tell me in the reviews pls). She was not naive or protective but she had become very trusting and worldly. She hadn't cried for a boy and promised herself not to from that day, the day she got tattoos, one of them being the on the inner side of her right wrist saying "Finally Normal", the day she broke up with him.

*Flashback begins*

"What if you imprint on someone Jake?" Bella demanded.

"Bella, how often have I told you I won't?" Jacob snapped, "Why can't you just believe me for once?"

"Cause I don't want to be the next Leah!" Bella yelled, "I can't watch you fall in love with some girl you just met! I can't give you! I don't want to share Jake!"

"Honey, that won't happen, I won't let that happen…" Jacob pleaded, "I love you, bells and only YOU"

"I used to believe Edward was the only one I would say that to, am I not with another man telling him that I love him with all my heart every second?" Bella blurted.

At that Jacob started trembling. Bella had really done it. Bella started backing up afraid she might end up like Emily (very ironic) now.

"DO. NOT. COMPARE. ME. WITH. THAT. LEECH." Jacob roared.

Bella froze. All the love she had had for Jacob had turned into fear now. She knew there was nothing she, just a person NOT an imprint, could do, even Emily an IMPRINT couldn't do anything. Jacob shifted in front of her. Bella screamed; she screamed so loud that the wolf who had been patrolling outside of Jacob's house, who happened to be Sam, alpha, ordered Jacob to come out of his house. Sam, being the alpha, gave Jacob no choice but to listen to him. The russet brown wolf burst out of the house, breaking the door and almost the whole wall.

Bella sank in a corner. She cried and sobbed and wept and bawled, but there was nothing that would make her an IMPRINT. Bella thought about the things that could happen if Sam weren't around if Jake had imprinted while Bella was pregnant with his child or married to him. She couldn't ruin her children's life because she wanted the same man who she knew could leave her for another girl. Whose she knew promises weren't wholly true.

She waited there for hours for HER Jake to come and apologize to her. But he never came. The whole pack had visited her, even her dad had come by when she wouldn't come home. That was it. Bella had had enough of what-ifs. She had had enough of the whole SUPERNATURAL life of hers. All she wanted now was to live a happy, normal life. She wrote a note for Jake, she scribbled all her apologies and her problems, and she even wrote for him to move on. To find someone SPECIAL. She told him that she was going somewhere but didn't mention it, Bella told him not to call, text, or try to look for her, that she was done with this life and all she wanted now was a HAPPY life one where she didn't have to live with what ifs…"

*Flashback end*

After that day, she had changed everything about her. She wanted to be a new person. Bella wanted a fresh start.

Bella's deep thought was broken by the ringing of her new iPhone 16. She walked towards her phone and turned it to check the caller id. It was her dad, her real one, Charlie. She picked it up and held it to her ear.

*Phone call begins*

"Hey Ch-Dad."

When Bella mentioned 'dad', heads whipped around towards her, the whole Amp World gang was staring at her. It was very rare to see Bella speak with her 'real' dad as she didn't keep in touch with most of the people in Forks, including Charlie. They were curious too cause it wasn't Charlie-like to call as Bella had asked him not to and Charlie respected boundaries.

"Hey, Kid. How are you?"

"I'm doing great, Dad. What about you?"

These days they had formal conversations whenever they spoke to each other. So this was VERY normal.

"I'm doing good. You know Sue's been taking care of me, they've moved in with me, and life is finally back to normal. With Seth in our house, It's never really quiet. One or the other friend of Seth's turns up you know!" He laughed his dad laugh. Bella was surprised cause this was her first time hearing him laugh in over a year.

"Yeah. Umm, That's great. I'm really happy for you, Dad." Bella replied awkwardly.

There was silence between them now. Bella knew there was something her dad was trying to tell her, but she couldn't figure out what, so she decided to break the silence first.

"So, Dad, what's got you calling me for?"

"Yeah, Um, I was hoping you'd ask," Charlie mumbled, "Bella, we're having a family dinner at Forks…"

Bella's worst nightmare was coming true. Charlie was calling her back…to Forks, NOT home. It was never her home. LA was her home. Rivieras were her family, the Amp members were her friends and this was her life.

"Dad, I genuinely can't, I can't leave my family and friends dad. We have a tradition going on. We celebrate together cause we're family." Bella knew that must have hurt Charlie and she wanted it to hurt so that he wouldn't ever call her back.

"Oh. I see. Um it's alright maybe, maybe your friends could come too. I could see your family" Charlie suggested.

"I'm sorry, Dad, but-"Bella was cut by when she was trying to decline her dad's offer.

"Hello, Mr. Swan! Brent Rivera here. Belly's brother. I am talking on behalf of Belly here, and I would like you to know that we would be delighted to come over for Christmas to Forks. It would be a lovely vacation," Brent replied with a shit-eating grin on his face.

"Really?!" Charlie asked, surprised.

"Yes sir, well then, see you on the 22nd, sir," Brent declared.

"Alright then, see you soon!" Charlie exclaimed.

*Phone call ends*

"N-O Brent!" Bella bellowed, " We are not going to FORKS, this is not funny. This is not the time for revenge!"

"I know this isn't time for revenge, Belly," Brent replied calmly, "It's time for you to finally meet your family again."

"But YOU GUYS are my family!" Bella reasoned. But Brent wasn't going down easily.

"I know, sweetie, we are, but they are your family too," Brent soothed, "Maybe it's time to show who you are now…"

That last sentence made Bella betray herself, maybe it was time to show them who she really is now. Maybe it's time to see her real dad, he's been through too much. That was all it took for Bella to start packing because they, her whole new family, were leaving in exactly 4 days…

AUTHOR'S NOTE: How was the first chapter guys? Did I do well? Do you like this view of writing or should I do POVs of some character? Also, do you want Bella to be a little bad and like drink a little and have tattoos (2-3, maybe) or be exactly nice and sweet like Lexi? Should I improve something? I know my grammar wasn't that great…

Also, in the next chapter, I will fast-forward it to the moment they are in the plane if you guys are okay with it?
