Marty struggled to get out of the recycling bin.

"He's not coming back, you know."

Marty perked up, it was Edna standing there. And to his dismay, she had Annie and a tight grip on her too.

Marty pleaded, "Edna, please! Let her go!"

Annie added, "Yeah, I literally had nothing to do with this!"

Edna turned to her, "Yes but it seems you know about this time machine too. So why don't you talk?"

Annie hissed, "I already said, I wasn't talking to you!"

Edna smirked, "I know. I meant your boyfriend here."

Marty decided to stall, "I barely understand a word Doc says, even in my timeline. So what are you talking about, Edna?"

Edna stated, "Emmett isn't coming back for you or her. Without me to guide him, he's almost as useless." Marty was getting pissed. She added, dragging Annie along, "Before I found him, he was a miserable failure who never accomplished anything."

Annie complained, "Ouch, jeez lady you have a tight grip for a bitch!"

Edna snapped to her, "Be quiet now." She then turned to Marty, "But with me there to inspire him, look at what we've built."

Marty shot back, "Yeah, you've inspired him alright. Inspired him to turn Hill Valley into a bunch of uptight dorks!"

Edna told him, "I wouldn't expect delinquents like you two to understand."

Marty replied, "You think you've inspired Doc? I'll have you know that without you, Emmett Brown is destined to build a time traveling De Lorean."

Annie remembered just then, "And he did the same thing to a train…" Edna twisted Annie's wrist, making the rebel go quiet. She complained, "Ouch, that is really starting to hurt…"

Edna shot at them, "Preposterous! Emmett couldn't even build a dog feeder without me there to guide him."

Annie turned to Marty just then as she joked a bit, "Should I tell her or do you?"

Marty chuckled a bit, "I don't think now is the time, Annie. You're not the only inspiration in Doc's life, y'know. In my timeline, he marries one of the sweetest women of the 19th century."

Annie added, "And Estelle's grandson really inspired Doc to be there for Timmy more."

Edna really started to get ticked off and grabbed Annie by the arm, as if she was going to pull her shoulder off.

Edna asked, "Are you trying to get me pissed, my dear?" Annie squeaked a bit. She added, "I thought not. But sweetness? Blech, Emmett needs discipline to stay focused. He's so easily distracted."

Marty admitted, "Okay, your honor. Starting to get a little concerned here…"

Annie stated, "And really sore…where is Citizen Brown…?"

That's when three sonic booms caught their attention. When she was surprised, Edna let go of Annie. Then three of them saw the De Lorean. Annie rubbed her shoulder.

Marty asked, "You okay?"

Annie answered, "Yeah…I'll be okay."

That's when Citizen Brown came out of the De Lorean.

Citizen Brown gloated, "It worked! Hahaha! One second I'm in the present, the next I'm six months in the past! Amazing!"

Marty perked up, "Six months? It took you six months to rebuild the time machine?"

Citizen Brown admitted, "Six months, my entire family fortune, and…"

Annie and Marty both finished, "A sketchy deal with a gang of Libyan nationals."

To that, both the cousins turned to each other and laughed. The only one not laughing was Edna.

Citizen Brown added, "But it was all worth it for this moment."

That's when he placed his hands on both of their shoulders. Edna came over to him.

She pleaded, "Emmett, don't do this. You need help."

Citizen Brown huffed, "Oh, blow it out of your exhaust port, dear. Now that I've escaped into the past, your pack of divorce lawyers can't…" That's when he realized something. He turned to the cousins. He asked, "Martin! Annie! How long have you two been waiting for me?"

Annie was still rubbing her wrist, "Long enough for her to twist my wrist and almost break my shoulder. Now I can't fulfill my duty…"

Marty was in the dark, "What duty?"

Annie asked, "Remember that rebellion I told you about that Estelle never got started?" To that, Marty nodded. She told him, "Well, she did start it."

Everyone perked up at that point. "What?" They all asked but for different reasons.

Marty asked, "What do you mean?"

Annie brought out a small bit of what looked to be a small wire in her ear. "Did you hear all of that, Greg?" She asked.

"Every word. Glad you are doin' okay, though." He told her in the wire.

Citizen Brown asked, "Wait you were wired the whole time?"

Annie confirmed, "Yes. See, Estelle always had that funny feeling that this timeline wasn't correct. So she asked Greg and me to find out what we could about you and Citizen Edna."

"Yes sir, it was a hard year to get accomplished but looks like she was correct. Citizen Brown was bein' used by his own 'wife'." Greg added over the wire.

Marty raised a brow, "So this whole time you were also trying to get to Citizen Brown?"

Annie stated, "Well, yeah. But I didn't want to do it too much to draw attention to myself. So I did small things here and there. It wasn't until the other day when things got too hectic."

Citizen Brown asked, "You mean when Martin arrived?"

Annie answered, "Affirmative."

"I can't believe that fool hearted sister of yours overplayed me." Citizen Edna growled.

Annie told her, "Well, I can't really keep you at bay but I will do everything in my power to hold you off until these two leave."

Marty was confused, "Wait, what? I had promised that I wouldn't leave your side again. I meant that, Annie."

"She appreciates it, Martin. But she has a duty to bring Citizen Edna in for questionin'." Greg told him.

Annie responded, "He's right, Marty. Besides…" She turned to Citizen Brown, "You will take care of him, right, your honor?"

Citizen Brown promised, "On my oath." He tossed Marty some package, "Here, you better go ahead and change."

Marty nodded, "Give me one quick second." He turned back to Annie, "You keep surprising me."

Annie told him, "I try. But please be careful, okay?"

Marty smiled, "You really are the best rebel."

That's when he kissed her. She returned it as Marty broke it, going over to the De Lorean.

Edna commented, "Fine! Leave! But I own this town."

Annie and Greg said in unison, "Not anymore, bitch."
