Chapter 2: Vampires Business.

Bill drove the van to the abandoned building they were using as a hideout. Soon he parked the van inside, Ellie got out of the van furiously. She can't believe that a few normal men manage to escape her after killing vampires for a few years now. As Ellie moves away from the van, she trashes everything at her reach while coursing louder. Bill shakes his head as he has never seen the girl that mad before. Not even after Joel leaves without saying anything. Yeah she was mad for that, but not furious like she was now. Bill moves out of the van and goes to the back and opens the door to grab his laptop from there. After a few minutes he starts walking toward the room she goes into. They don't talk much after the discussion they have about the mission on the way back. But Bill knew that something was bothering Ellie. She has not been the same since Joel left six months ago and that fight with David. Soon Bill opens the door of the little office they use to rest, he finds Ellie with her coat off and looking for the first aid kit.

"Is on the second cabinet on you right." said Bill before watching Ellie smash the door of the one she was looking on.

"I don't want to hear it… Bill." she said while moving to the cabinet he told her before. Ellie opens the door and grabs the kit and moves to the old couch there.

Bill put his laptop down on a table and raises his hand while looking at her. "I was not going to say anything." Ellie turns her head toward him and gives him a look. "Okay, I'm going to say something, do you like it or not." Ellie opens the aid kit and takes out what she needs to clean and dress her wound. "But first let me help you with that." he said while moving closer to her.

"I can still do this on my own… you should be working on how to find the man that took the kids." she said with a furious tone.

"I know that you're mad right now and you do not want to hear this… but you're been acting negligent since Joel left. I know that what happens with David changes you, but you need to-" he stops when Ellie raises her head and gives him a mad look.

"I don't want to hear anything about him Bill… that asshole leaves me after-" she stopped before saying something that will show her feelings for the man. "He left us without saying anything… that mother fucker. He promised me to stay and told me everything he knew about the vampire… about my father too." Ellie turns her head back to the kit and grabs the alcohol bottle. She opened it and put some on a gaze and moved it toward her shoulder where she received the shot. "FUCK!" she yells as soon the gaze touches the wound. Lucky for her the bullet just rose. Her chest hurt too but as she was wearing her armor under her clothes that was not so bad. She will get a few bruises there for sure, but she will live. "He broke his promise… he never told me anything. Always change the subject and try to distract me with his training. He was supposed to help me to understand all this, but he just left. I want to know more about him too and why David seems to know him." Ellie was really mad at him, but Joel was not the only one that tormented her mind.

Bill got closer and sat beside her. "I know that you wanted that, but you know how Joel was. He really wanted to help you so maybe he has a good reason for leaving like that. It has been six months since he was gone, so I don't know why that still bothers you." he took the gaze from her hand and started to clean the blood on her exposed shoulder. You're lucky that the bullet didn't hit you directly, but you still need some stitches."

Ellie turns her head away and holds the pain. "Him, is not the only one tormenting my mind… is David too and what he said when he captured me."

"David was a vampire and they like to lie so you don't have to believe anything he says, besides he is gone and you survive him. I know that you are still looking for some answer, but getting killed is not going to help you with that." He feels bad to keep some things about her father that know. But he promised her father to not tell her anything. "You need to be more careful. You need to concentrate on the present and try not to think about the past. That is distracting you and that can kill you. Look at you now!... You almost got killed for being so careless. You're lucky that those men were not where any vampire, you know how hard they're getting to kill now" Bill grabbed the things he needed to do the job and soon he was ready he spoke again. "You need to focus on the job we came here to do and stop making bad decisions…"

Ellie did not want to look at him. Bill has been not only her partner, but her friend and a father figure. He has been protective and takes care of her since her father died, but he doesn't know how deep David goes into her head and Joel living didn't help. "I know that you care a lot about me, but I know what I'm doing… so stop acting like a father and more like a partner. We've been doing this for a few years, but you're a cop for a long time and you know how things are out there." she said without looking at him. "I know we're vampire hunters now, but that does not mean that we have to look the other way about this. I made a good call on this and even though I failed, I'm not going to give up on those kids. But you're right... We need to concentrate on our job and our job right now is to find those kids. Now, we need a plan on how to find them before it's too and I bet that- ouch!," She yelled after Bill started to work on her shoulder. "Hey…I need my arm in a good conduction… so be careful with that."

Bill stops and looks at her. "Ha, I was doing this before I met you, so stop complaining… besides if you did,'t try to take an army of gangsters all by yourself I will not be doing this." Bill continues working on her shoulder until he finishes. "Done."

Ellie looks at his job before standing up from the couch and starts to move around the room "What happens if the person that Juan got the info from was working with the vampire and just sent us to a trap?"

"I don't think Juan will be so stupid for that… and we don't know if those men are in league with the vampire. This could be only a human traffic translation, but anyway I will call Juan and see what happens on the streets." Bill put the first aid kit away and got up. "Now, you need to rest Ellie, you will feel better after that. Use the couch, I will be outside and take care of everything."

Ellie stood up too and looked at him. "I don't have time for that… we need to find those kids. I want to do something… You know that I will not sleep while those men have those kids to do who knows what."

Bill walked closer to her. "I am not a monster Ellie, I will help you to find those kids… but we need to do things right and if you want to help them you need to be in a better conduction, so get some rest… and I will let you know what I find out when you wake up."

"I'm fine Bill… So stop being so worried about me. Time here is important… if the trace goes cold we risk the chance to never find them. So if I have to go out there to look for them, that is what I will do."

"Shit, Ellie don't be so… just get some rest Ellie… I will wake you up if I find anything. They are just local criminals, it will not be hard to find them." he said before walking away from her and go the table. He picks up his laptop and walks toward the door. "Don't worry we will find them." he said before opening the door and got out of the room.

Ellie does not want to rest, those kids are still in her head and she needs to find them. They need to find if this has any connection with the vampires that are here in Boston. Besides, she doesn't believe that she can get some rest even if she tries it. Ellie starts to move around the room and try to think of why that man wants the kids, after a few minutes she starts to feel really tired. She feels dizzy too and sleepy until she releases what is going on. "Motherfucker…" she said before moving away from the table. "I'm going… to kill you for this-" she started before falling down. Lucky for her she was close to the couch and practically fell on top of it.

A few minutes later, Bill opens the door and looks inside with a scary face. He was hoping that the sedative he injected her while he attended her wound would knock her up by now. Soon he looked at the couch and saw her lying there, he thanked God that she fell on top of it and that she looked sleeping. He knows that she will be mad at him when she wakes up, but this is something he needed to do. Bill walked toward the couch and looked at her. She really needs the rest. Not only to recover from her wounds but also they were hunter vampires since Joel was gone. He really wanted Joel to stay with them. He was strong enough to protect her, and his training was helping Ellie to get stronger and forget about David. But her insistence of knowing more about him and her father pushed Joel away. Soon Bill was beside her, he re positioned her body on the couch so it was more comfortable and covered her with a blanket.

Sorry… about this girl, but I know that you will not get any rest if I don't do this and you need it. I know that I'm not you father or strong enough to protect you forever, but I made a promise to him to keep you safe and I'm intent to honor that. I was hoping for Mr Miller to help me with that, and maybe one day take you away from all this. But he is gone now… so is just you and me again. He said to himself before moving closer and gave her a kiss on her head. Then he walked away from the couch and out of the room to do his job.

A few hours later in another part of Boston. The black van arrived at a secluded mansion in the north of the Rumney Marsh reservation. The vehicle stopped at the main gate of the mansion where two men were posted in front of it. One of the men has his gun in hands while moving closer to the van. Soon the man was on the side of the van and he recognized who the driver was.

"You're late… the boss was expecting you an hour ago." said the guards.

"Sorry, but it is not my fault that I'm late, I run into some complications and I need to talk to Lord Victor about it… So if you let me pass, I have the cargo he is waiting for…" he said, a little nervous.

"Well, I hope you bring what he requires… or the boss will be really pissed," the guard gave him one last look before looking at his partner. "Open the gate… Is Mr. Wilson, the boss waiting for him," the other man turns around and goes to open the gate. "You know where to go… so don't change your route. Soon you're inside and follow the path to the next level. We have people there waiting." he said before moving away from the van.

"Okay thanks." Said Wilson, before starting to drive forward as Soon the gate was open. Soon he was inside the man drive on the main road that will take him toward the mansion. A few minutes later he stopped in front of the big garage door and waited for this one to open. He can see the security men around the place and even though he has been there before, he never saw so many around.

After a few minutes, the garage door opens and he starts to drive inside. The garage was not an ordinary one. Soon he gets inside and the rolling door closes and the wall on the end starts to open. Showing a little tunnel that goes beyond the garage. The tunnel takes him to underground space that runs under the mansion. It looks like an underground parking lot, but smaller. They have some cars there, but also use it to move cargo into the mansion without being noticed. Soon he gets to the end of it and he sees a few expensive cars, a man there signs him to stop.

"Hello, my name is Rogers Wilson… and I'm here to deliver a cargo to Lord Victor." he started as soon as one of the armed men went to the drive side and looked at him.

"We know who you're… now turn the engine off and get out of the vehicle," said the man before opening the door. Roger got out and saw a few more men walking toward them. "We're going to check the merchandise before we let you in, so open the back door." They start to guide Roger toward the back of the van.

Inside the mansion, a man in a red and gold robe was in his office talking with someone on the phone. "I don't need you advice about those vampire hunters. I can assure you that our operation is perfectly safe here."

"Don't make the same mistake as David… Victor. I know you worked with him in the past, but he was one the old council before he left and went to America. Now he is dead because he underestimated those hunters and the high council is worried about those vampire hunters will ruin you operation there." said the woman on the other side.

"Well, I'm not David so tell the council that all here will go as it has been for years… David's thirst for power here in America was bringing too much attention and also his revenge. That was why those hunters found him and destroyed him. I'm more of a businessman and staying in the shadows has worked perfect for me and our operation. I'm in control of the underground here in Boston. So I can assure you that the blood supplies will continue running as usual."

The woman on the phone waited for a minute before answering him. "David thought that he has things under control too, so make sure to keep things running. Those Vampire hunters are starting to give us a headache and with David dead, some of our people are worried. We have been trying to eliminate those hunters for centuries but they manage to survive."

"Thanks for the call, and I can assure you that if those hunters show up here I will deal with them. I will not make the same mistake as David. Now, I will have a new shipment ready to depart next week so be ready to receive it." At that moment the sound of a knock at the door interrupted him. "Sorry I have to cut you short, but I have some business to attend to. Don't worry I will take care of anyone that tries to stop our business here."

"Make sure of that Victor. The last thing you need is the council to send someone there to deal with that. So keep your eyes open and don't let anything stop the shipment. Something will come soon and we're going to need" After that the call ended.

The man put his phone on top of his desk and looked at the door. "You may enter, but whatever it is… it is better to be good. I was in an important call." When he finishes the door opens and one of his closer servants enters the room.

"Sorry to interrupt you master, but Mr. Wilson has arrived." he said while bowing.

"Ahhhh yes… Mr Wilson… It was about time. He was supposed to be here an hour ago. I think that sometimes he likes to tempt my patience. He thinks because his company has been a good cover for our shipment, he is beyond my wrath if he fails me."

The man looked at his master. "He said that you will be pleased with the merchandise he brings. The men in the parking lot are already moving the cargo into the mansion as we speak. Do you want to check them now or want to talk to Mr Wilson first in private?" he said politely.

"Tell the men to take the cargo into one of the basement room and that I want Mr Wilson there too. I will go to change and be there in one hour." The servant bowed again and walked toward the door.

One hour later the vampire lord and his escort get into the basement and walk toward one of the room there. Soon he arrived at the room entrance, one of the guards opened the door for him to let him in. The Vampire entered the room while his escort stayed outside. Then he saw the kids hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room. The teens were with their eyes covered and were already drugged to keep the quiet and calm. Soon the man got closer, he started to look at them.

"They don't look so bad… But I can only see the kids here, so where are the rest of the cargo?" he said with a serious tone.

One of the guards pushes Mr. Wilson out of the shadow of the room into the light. "Sorry for the inconvenience… Sir. But the man that I was doing business with told me that he needed more time to deliberate the rest. Moving people around the city is not easy and-" he stops when Victor turns around and looks at him.

The Vampire lord moves closer to him with a not happy expression. "I give you 10 million for this deal… So I was expecting that all would go in order. I need to send the new shipment next week, not in two or three."

The man moved a little back. "I know sir, The man prince will deliver if we give him more time. And I believe that-" the man stops when he feels a hand around his neck.

"I'm using you because it was good for our business, but if you think that you're no replaceable you're mistaken." he said before starting to press his hand on the man's neck. "I have a delivery time frame and I can't wait another week for this."

"Sorry… Sir… but… we run… into some… people… in the warehouse and they probably ruin… the negotiation with the man that… was provided to us..." he said as he gasped for air.

The Vampire moves his face closer to the man. "What people? The cops?"

"I don't think so… it was young… woman… she was killed… all my men… I was lucky… to manage to go away…. With the… cargo."

The vampire drops him to the ground before he speaks. "A young woman you said… a little red hair and a scar in one of her eye brow? Did she have an old man with her?" he started to ask.

The man touches his throat as he tries to recover. "I'm not sure… I only saw her… but she was skilled. I don't see anyone else, but I'm sure that she was not alone."

The man looks at the kids, and moves away from the man. "You can go now… and take care of the business we have in hand. I will call you if I need you. I will look into this young woman. I will call if I need something else, but if the rest of the cargo is not ready for next week… our deal will be off and that will not be good for you." he said with a furious tone. One of the guards helped the man up and escorted him out of the room.

Another of the guards moved closer to the vampire. "Do you want to send a squad out there and hunt them down?"

"No… until we find out if they are the hunters that take down David… and it would be better if we keep them away from us until the shipment is ready to ship. I can handle the cops, but the last thing we need is interfering with our business before we're ready for them. But get me Arthur and his tracker… I want them to find the hunters and keep an eye on them. Soon after we finish our business you men can go and hunt them down."

"As you wish, master…" said the guard before walking to another part of the room and starting talking with another guard.

Victor moves closer to the younger girl of the teen there. He moved his face to her neck and smelled her. "I want this one ready for tomorrow… so get the girls to clean her up." he said before looking at the rest. "Take the other to the waiting room. I will see what to do with them before the ship is ready to depart." he said while passing his hand on the girl's body.

xXx

Ellie opened her eyes and she noticed that she was hanging from a ceiling and she was wearing only a white dress. No… this can be happening again. She said as she remembers the dark room where David kept her prisoner. Then she hear a voice behind her.

"You must stop dreaming about this…" she thought at first that it was David talking because. every-time she goes to sleep she hear him in her mind. It stopped a month when Joel was with her, his present gave her some comfort and the training a distraction. But then he was gone and all that started again. "Don't let him torment you like that. He is dead so take him out of you mind he can't hurt you anymore." Ellie tries to turn her head back but she can't. The voice was like a whisper but didn't sound like Davids. Slowly the voice became more clear and she recognize it.

"Joel?"

"You're stronger, I always knew that… So you need to focus and find you way again." the voice said, still coming from behind.

Ellie tries again to look back but she can't. "Why do you leave me? You promised me some answer… you promised to help me." After that it was silent and the room still pitch black..

"You're still looking in the past… and that was a distraction. You kill David because he killed you father and revenge clouds you mind. You need to be ready only then you will be able to face you destiny. Stop letting him manipulate you mind… or all will be lost." said Joel's voice now coming from inside her mind.

After that Ellie's hand goes free. She was standing up but the place was still dark. "I don't understand this… if this is a dream? A vision or what? Why are you telling me why I can't see you?" Ellie looks around trying to find him. I don't understand what you are trying to tell me… What is coming?" then from the shadow David's figure appeared in front of her.

"Don't listen to him Ellie… he is not what you think he is. He lied to you, he hid from you a lot of things. I was only trying to open you mind."

"You bastard… get out of my mind." Ellie launches herself toward him to hit him, but David moves fast and grabs her by the neck. "He only wants to use you… he knows what you real destiny is… you will be our Goddess, that is you destiny. You will be the queen of our new nation. He knew this and that is why he tried to stop you." he said before letting her fall to the floor. Open you eyes… because you will free us from our curse."

Ellie looks up at him before standing up. "I'm never going to join you… l prefer to be dead before that happens. You're all monsters… the only thing you want in this world is destruction and death… power. Use humans as you toys and meat… But I will stop before that happens."

"No… you are our saviors… don't let them fool you. You father knows this day will come… that is why he tries to hide you from us. But I find the truth in some old books, that is why I try to free you from them."

"No… you're not going to fool me… you kill my father… then try to make me one of you. But you fail… you're dead and I'm still here hunting you kind," yell Ellie.

"NOOOO!" Said David while moving back. "They all lie to you… including your father… All of them will turn against you as soon as they know who you really are. You're part of him… and when he comes back to reclaim you and this world will know who our master really is."

"I don't understand all the shit you said… but something is sure I will not rest until all of you are dead." Ellie said back.

After that David looks at her with furious eyes. "If you don't want to see you destiny… then I will show you." David starts to transform into a creature that doubles his side. The beast has two horns on top of his forehead and two big bat wings came out from his back. He became a monster of the night. His face was ugly as hell as the rest of his body. "YOU WILL FACE YOU DESTINY HUNTER… YOU CAN'T STOP IT." said David before moving closer to her and grabbing her and moving her up until she was in front of his face. "You friend out there will die… when you become his… that is you destiny. That old hunter knew it and so did your father." David moves her closer to his face. "I could give you power and love, but he will give you pain and sorrow." he opens his mouth and goes for her neck.

"NOOOO!" Ellie abruptly opened her eyes and sat up on the couch. After a few seconds later the door of the room opens and Bill goes in."

"Ellie!... Are you okay?" he said, running toward her. Soon he was close, Bill knelt in front of her and put his hand on her shoulder, " You have another nightmare… about him is it?" he said with a concern tone,

Ellie's body was shaking. "I killed him Bill… so why is he still tormenting me? I can't take him out of my mind?" Ellie said with scaring eyes. She has killed a lot of dangerous vampires in her past, but David was the only one that really scared her, and she was not scared of anything. "What do I have to do to get him out of my mind?"

"I'm so sorry Ellie… this is all my fault. I should not let him get you in the first place… I should go with you into that crypt." He moved closer to her and hugged her. "I know that I'm not you father but I will protect you… you can count on that." Ellie doesn't know what to feel. She was a hunter, she was trained to be strong. Not only physically, but also mentally and nothing has ever made her feel like this before. Ellie not only felt weak, but also lost. "You will be okay kiddo… we can handle this together no matter what it takes."

"Thanks… Bill… I will be fine." she said before moving away from him. "But don't think for a second that I forgot what you did…" she said before hitting him in the shoulder. .

Bill wants to smile a little but he does not want to piss Ellie more than she can right now. So he stands up and moves toward a counter where he has a coffee maker. "Sorry about that… but you don't give me any choice." Bill grabs the crystal jar and put some coffee into a mug. "How is your shoulder?" he asked.

Ellie moves one hand toward the wounded shoulder and touches it. "It still hurts, but it feels better than..." She stops as she moves her arm to see if it pains her more. Then she turned her head toward Bill who was now serving himself a cup of coffee. "How long have I been out?" she asked, not happy with what he did.

"That is good…" he said while walking toward her. "You were only out for 4 hours… I guess. I think you should rest more." Bill stops in front of her and passes her the mug. "I'm so sorry that I have to do that Ellie… but you need the rest and I know you will not get any on you own will."

Ellie grabs the mug and looks at it. She always drinks tea or cocoa, but never loved coffee before. She only starts to drink it after Joel gives her some to try it. She finds it good after a time but she stops drinking after Joel leaves and coffee only reminds her of him. "Why did you give me this… you know that I don't drink this any more."

Bill moved toward a round table that was in the middle of the room and sat in one of the chairs there. "Sorry… but we're low in supplies and this is the only thing we have. Besides this is good for you body especially after being-" he stopped before buried himself deeper.

Ellie looks at the drink again. This always makes her think about Joel. He was an asshole, But somehow she really misses him.

"Do you want to talk about it?" he asked after taking a sip of his coffee.

Ellie raises her head and looks at him. "Talk about what? About how you drug me? Or About… Joel?"

"No… about you nightmares." he said while looking at her. "What it is this time?"

Ellie stands up from the couch and walks toward the table. She put the mug on top of it and looked at him. "I don't want to talk about that either… but what I really wanted to do is find those kids. We already lost too much time and what will be doing right now is being out there looking for them." she said with a mad tone.

"I told you that I was going to work on that… I just need a little more-" he started before a beep sound can be heard outside the room. "I think we got something." Bill grabs his cup and stands up. He started walking toward the door and got out of the room.

"Where are you going?" asked Ellie while following him outside. She watches him walk toward the van and go into the back. Ellie ran toward him and stopped behind the vehicle. "What do you mean you got something?"

"I'm not sure yet, but I let my computer run a search for the plate I got from the van that took the kids." he said while looking at his computer.

Ellie goes inside and moves behind him. "And how will that help us? That van belongs to the man the police have arrested in the warehouse… so we can't interrogate him now."

"You may be right, but if we find the people that he was making the transition maybe we can… okay here we go." Bill watched the information running on the screen. After a few minutes, Ellie moves closer and points to an information that shows up on the scream. "There…" he pointed at the picture on the screen. "That was the guy from the warehouse… Right?"

Ellie move closer and look at the picture."Yes… he was the one that was buying the kids."

"Okay… let's see what we have on him." Ellie moved back to give Bill space to work. "We already know that the warehouse belongs to his company. Now we need to know where his company office is… If we can find the guy, maybe we can find what he did with the kids."

"Okay Bill, work you magic… if we find his office, maybe he will have information there on who he does business with."

(A few hours Later)

Ellie was on the roof of a building looking with her binoculars at the one in front of it. "Okay… I'm in position." she said while inspecting the place with her night vision binocular. "Are you sure this is the right place? It looks like a normal office building. I can see only one guard in the lobby and no one on the roof so far."

"Yeah I'm sure. This building is where his company is, well at least his main one here in Boston if the information is correct… The man you saw in the warehouse is the owner of this company you're looking at now. They export goods out of the US to a lot of outside countries around the world. His company is not big, so I bet he doesn't attract too much attention. So if he took the kids for someone else or wanted to get them out of the US he has the means to do it. He also has some friends in the government that will do easy things for him too."

"Okay let's see if we can find something in his office that can help us to find the kids." Ellie said before putting the binocular down and starting taking a few thighs out of her backpack. She was all dressed in black, but not her typical clothes, she was wearing a tactical espionage suit. "What do you have about the building? I need all you have about the building security."

Bill starts to touch his keyboard and more information and pictures about the building start to show up in his monitor. He was in his van a few streets away from the building in a alley. His drone was flying over the building, sending him a video image of it. "The building is 20 floors tall as you can see, but only the last 5 floors belong to the Export company. As I said before, the owner's name is Rogers Wilson and his office is on the 19th floor."

"Okay… that is good. Because that way I can access his office from the roof and I'm not have to enter through the lobby." Ellie takes out her gun with a cable attached to it and points it apart on the roof of the building in front of her. Then she saw a guard moving on the roof. "Okay I can see one guard on the roof now."

"Be careful, we don't know how many guards he has on the building."

"Sure, let me know if you see any more with you drone," Ellie waited for the guard to move to the other side of the roof then shoot. The cable went flying toward the building roof and penetrated the wall on the side of the building. The building that she was in was a little tall so it is going to be an easy ride. Soon Ellie gets the cable secure on her side, she moves to the edge of the roof and hooks a peg with a lather part on the cable and jumps. Ellie slid toward the other building in seconds, but before she arrived at her destination the guard saw her. Ellie quickly let go one of her hands and grabbed one of her little knives from her chest and threw it toward the guard. .

The knife hit the man on his chest and before he could do something he fell to the ground dead. Soon after that, Ellie landed on the roof closer to the dead guard. She quickly takes out her knife and moves fast to proceed to get to the ventilation shaft.

"Okay Bill, I found the entrance shaft… is there any alarm there?"

"Let's see." said Bill while checking the information on his computer. "The roof door has a security code. I can try to hack it but it will take time and we don't have much to waste. The conduct shaft has an alarm, but you can cut it out easy."

"Okay… let's proceed with that one." Ellie checked the conduct and saw the small box on the side. She carefully opened it and cut the cable Bill told her. Soon that was out she opened the top of the shaft and looked inside. "It looks good inside… I will go in." Ellie moved inside the tunnel as fast she could and five minutes later she was on the ventilation window of the man's office. She looks inside making sure it was anybody there Ellie proceeds to remove the iron window and slowly she drops into the office floor and starts to look around. "Is there any security in here?" she asked while moving slowly in the shadows.

"The door of the office uses a card key, but I don't see anything else in there. But be careful, there are two more guards on that floor." he said as he looked at the video from the drone.

Ellie moves carefully in the room and walks toward the desk where the man's computer is. The thing was off so she turned it on. "Okay, I turned on his computer.. Now what do I do?" Ellie waits for the screen to get on. "Okay, the thing is on, but it has a security password to go in."

"Don't worry I will take care of the rest. Just put in the USB I gave you and I will handle it." Ellie did what he said and Bill started to work his magic again. Ellie looks at the door making sure to be ready if the guards on this floor get suspicious and come to the office. "This guy has a lot of security on his PC to be just a normal merchant."

"Yeah… I bet kidnapping kids and selling them is not part of his legal business." At that moment the screen started to open on the main screen and Ellie can see a few files there. "Good Job… Bill, so what do we need to look for?"

"Is too much garbage information here… it will take more time to check it all out." Ellie hear him but her attention was at the door. She could see some shadows moving under the door, then she hear someone murmuring at the other side.

"I don't think we have much time." she said while moving away from the computer. "Just find and copy the files about his new shipments here in the city… I will try to give you more time." She said moving away from the desk and toward the door.

"Okay… I will need ten minutes." he said while working on his computer as fast as he can.

"You have five…" said Ellie before the door got open and four guards stood in the entrance. The room was dark but one of the guards noticed the light from the monitor on the desk.

"I don't think the boss left the computer on, so someone was here… or still here. Alert the rest of the men and call for-" the guard started but was kicked on the head by Ellie and was sent flying away from the rest.

"What the hell!" said another one. Before point his gun around but didn't see anyone. Ellie uses the shadows to move behind another guard and grab him from behind. One of the guards was going to turn the light on, but they turned around quickly and pointed their guns at them.

"Now boys… while not take things easy, so we can talk about this." said Ellie calmly.

"You're an intruder here, we don't know who get in here, but you better give up before we take other measures."

"Just kill her Pete… she has to be the one that kills Marty on the roof." said one of the guards.

Ellie Presses her hold on the man's neck as he tries to get away from her. "Well, that happens when people like you work for scum like you boss. Now, if you tell me where he is with the kids he just bought a few hours ago… maybe I'll let you all live."

Ellie stays put with the guard on her grab, but before something happens she hear the glass window on the room go broken and three new men land inside room.

"Ellie you better get away from there… those new men that just go inside… are not humans."
