Hello to all my readers and I apologize for the delay in the recent posting. I have been able to write just not post so I hope to be posting more regularly now that I have some chapters written down.
Chapter 6: Gathering of the wicked ones.
Two weeks after the group had said goodbye to Kimberly they were back at the airport to say goodbye to another team member and friend.
"Just remember we are only a teleport away if the situation seems to demand it," Tommy whispered.
"Everything will be fine bro we are here to protect Angel Grove," Jason said
"You mean if we have anything to defend against there hasn't been a battle in weeks." Trini reminded.
"I fear with the quiet spell being this long the goon squad is planning something sinister," Billy said.
"This is the final boarding call for flight 19823 to Dallas connecting to flight 24769 to Miami. Please have your boarding passes ready and thank you for flying with United Airlines." the ticket master said over the loudspeaker.
"Well guys looks like this is it." Tommy said. The group gathered for a hug, as they broke apart Tommy headed for the gate.
"Its a whole new ball game now," Zack said as the group began exiting the airport
"You guys want to go hang at the park?" Justin asked.
The group quickly agreed and were soon on their way to the park up on the moon.
Zedd, Rita and their henchmen are all gathered in the throneroom watching the video image communication with the skullship
"We have found the remanence of purple floating goo, it is believed to be what remains of Ivan Ooze. This is one of the members that Father wanted us to find I'm just not sure if this will be enough or how it got out this far." Impaggo informed.
"Well he was hit by a commit and nobody understands the blast radius in my scientific opinion you will be finding more around the area," Finster said.
"That sounds promising thank you Finster Impago said before turning to Eidar "program the ooze inot the computer and search for all matching matter."
"Yes sire." Eidar said.
"I will be in touch when we have more information." Impaggo said just before ending the transmission.
Just as the transmission ended a ship appeared outside the balcony. Seconds later mastervile appeared in the throneroom followed by two other figures.
"Zedd, Rita I want to introduce Astronima, and her lead henchman Ecliptor they will join you in the fight of Earth." Mastervile informed.
"Welcome may we work together rottenly." Zedd said offering his hand.
Accepting the offer Astronima said "Likewise, may we rule in darkness."
"If you will excuse me there is another potential ally I must retrieve." Mastervile said as he teleported away.
They gathered villians began discussing ways they could work together to defeat the rangers everything was going well until Ecliptor mention the space rangers.
"What! you mean there are more rangers screeched Rita.
"Oh come on its like an all out war between dark spectors followers and the Alliance of Light led by Zordon, King Lexion, Trey of Triforia, and Commander Kinwon. They have put together a base known as Terra venture people wee selected from the three different sectors to go up to this space station after it launched" Astronema explained to her fellow villians.
Seconds later two figures appeared as another ship appeared outside next to the lunar palace. they step closer to the group as mastervile introduced the recent additon to the allies. "Ah, Trakeena I'm glad you could join us, please come in we were about to start planning our attacks." Mastervile said as he pulled up as visual of the area the assembled villians were attacking.
"I have masked our gathering for now but I don't know how long the incesant fool Zordon will stay obliviaous." Mastervile informed the group.
"That is terrific news father" said the final villian to arrive along with his wife and Ivan Ooze.
"Impago my boy you did well now lets get him to the rejuvination chamber." Mastervile said motioning them toward said chamber.
"We need to get planning our attack before the other rangers figure out we are here." Maligore said.
"Just how many are there we are alrady dealing with Twelve?" Zedd barked out Mastervile waved his wand and a group of chairs appeared allowing them all to sit down.
"I have been batteling the Astro Rangers since they answered the calling to protect KO-35. The battle was intense niether of us were giving an inch, but it was our former ally Darkonda that turn the tide of the fight when he eliminated the black and yellow Astro rangers in a battle for the power plant for KO-35.
Then we figured they would be weaker in the battles, however they fought stronger and harder which cause us to make upgrades to the dark fortress and Ecliptor. The next battle we were albe to eleminate the blue and pink rangers and almost retrieved the pink astro morpher until Zhane the silver Astro ranger swiped it but paid with close to the ultimate price when he was hit with a unstabelizing blast." Astronima explained.
"So you are down to just two astro rangers?" Rita questioned
"Oh I wish we were that fortunate however that rotten red ranger teleported them both to saftey. Since then Earth has sent subjects up to test life in space. Two shuddles launched one from Houston the other from Stone Canyon. Shuttle one connected with Terraventure while shuttle two was intercepted by my forces all but four of the passengers were delt with. We thought they were all dead until we heard a strange escape pod take flight either the pilot could fly or it was in auto pilot. Those four have become the new members of the Astro team.
"So what happened to the group that went to the space coloney?" Scorpina asked
"They have been researching the nearby planets checking for inhabitablelity. One day they chose to check Merinoi they were met withe thousands of Venomweavers. The soilders shot some, however they were quickly overrun the survivors ran for the jungle my minions gave chase only for a native girl to show tehm where the infamous Quasar Sabers were, In our battle we attacked both the space coloney and Merinoi to try and split them up but all of our efforts did nothing. They mounted a charge against us and during their attack I lost my father, i want that red ranger dead for what he has done." Trakeena shouted.
"Its safe to say we all have a reason to want revenge on a ranger for something they have done or didn't accomplish." Came a voice Rita and Zedd would never forget. As Ivan emerged from the rejuvination chamber.
"Glad to see the rejuvination chamber worked, you should be back to full strength in a matter of moments." Mastervile said
"The last time you were in the Lunar Palace you betrayed the ones that set you free." Zedd reminded.
"You try being locked up in a rotten egg for 6,000 years and see if you don't wake up a lettle vengful." Ivan said
"Alright lets all be clear we are all on the same side we all want the destruction of those Power Ragners." Maligore reminded sensing a physical confrontation his words gathering everyones attention.
"With all of us working together we should be able to out number those pothetic power brats and take control of the Galaxy." Trakeena stated.
The gathered villians planned their attacks in oppertunity style. Attacking when the timing was right. They set up areas that each of them would attack. Never in the same place as another allowing them to keep themseleves seperate so the rangers wouldn't know that each of them was working together.
"So might I assume ther we are preparing for war?" Goldar asked.
"Yes we are, so until you are told there is no leaving the palace." Robonna said
The room suddenly fell silent for a few seconds then everyone began chanting "Death to the Rangers!"
"So we are all in agreement us working together right?" Ivan Ooze asked
"Yes and once our common enemy is eleminated we will divide the galacy up inot sectors each of us will control. Mastervile said which prompted another debate over who got what sector.
"As the main attackers of earth I feel we should get this solar system's sector." Zedd suggested
"No that should go to whoever eleminates the rangers." Trakeena argued.
"Why don't you take the space colony since you enjoy attacking it so much." Astronima snarled.
"ENOUGH! Lord Impaggo shouted your all behaving like infants I think it best we divide it all up once we've eleminated the rangers and Zordon but when that happens some of you should travel to the Alliance fo Light council to destroy it as well." he explained once everyone got quiet.
"Sound nasty I like that idea now when should we attack and who do we send down for an attack?" Zedd questioned
"We don't want to alert the rangers to our presents to soon so why don't we come up with amonster to desroy Angel Grove, we will all add something to the ingredience to create this beast." Astonima said.
The group of villians formed a circle each thinking of something extremely grotesk channeling their dark energy each raised and hand, staff, or in trakkena's case sword. In the middle of the group formeda beast with six arms four legs the chest looked like a brickwall with abs and the head was a four by four cube with a face on each side.
Once they were all looking at him he closed his eyes, focusing he began to shift forms when he opens them he looked like Zedd if he lifted 10,000 pounds a day for ten years straight.
"This is brilliant he may be the most hidies monster I've ever seen." Zedd said just as rito entered the throneroom.
"Nevermind" Zedd said as he spotted Rito
"Hello pops did ya have a safe trip?" Rito asked
"How did you get here? We heard you were headed for sepia galaxy." Impaggo said before their father could say anything.
"I had a little trouble with the ship I took long story short after I bested the Pharaoh in a game of chance I got this vampiress monster and by the time I arrived here the Pharaoh realized I cheated so he sent someone to collect my ill gotten winnings or me, I chose to give back the vampiress egg and kept my life." Rito explained
"Rito if I have told you once I've told you a thousand times your not going to survive by cheating and smuggeling." Mastervile said
"But Pops"... Rito tryed to say
"NO! mastervile bellowed causing the palace to shake and flashes of blue and goldto illuminate the room.
"Alright I won't do anything that would be considered cheating or smuggeling ." Rito said cowering down.
"Send down the monster with Goldar and some putties." Zedd ordered
"Zedd if you send them down now withour preparing the palace we show our hand, I currently have a cloaking sharm on the palace and what surronds it if you send down those forces withour allowing most of us to get to the lower level to be undetectable." Mastervile explained as he motinoned for all of the allies to follow him down to the dungeon. Once they were all hidden from Zedd's detection Zedd sent down Goldar, Morphox, and a horde of putties.
Meanwhile back on Earth: Angel Grove CA
Zack, Adam, Rocky, and Jason are at the park playing a friendly game of soccar. Zack and Adam against Rocky and Jason.
"Hey Jase what's up with you and the new girl?" Zack asked
"What are you talking about bro?" Jason replyed
"Come on Jase its obvious first it was your not so subtle how are things down under. Then the way you watch her walk in both classes you two share. My and the most notible is the fact that your smiling at the mier mention of her." Zack said
"Alright but what am I suppose to do about it, its not like there is a dance coming up." Jason said
"Oh don't you dare go there Jase those wer speacial circumstances." Adam said in deffence of the couple in refference.
"That's not what I meant at all it would be easier if there was, however I'm left with no clue cause I'm not sure of her interests." Jason explained
"Well that easy to figure out." Rocky said
"Oh it is huh, I don't see you with a date on friday!" Zack said
"Just because you don't see it doesn't mean I don't" Rocky retorted following with sticking his tounge out at Zack.
"Alright guys why don't we get back to Jason's see if we can brainstorm ideas he cuold use to hopfully pick up a date for friday. As they walked the conversation continued.
"I've known Trini my whole life why don't I just ask her for some assistance?" Jason asked
"Well that might not be a bad idea." Adam said as Zack just looked around blankly.
"Or I could just aske my good friend Zack who seems to be avoiding the topic he brought up." Jason said.
"I don't understand why you all think I can't get a date." Rocky said radomly.
"Rocky that was twenty minutes ago we are back to picking on Jason." Adam said as they walked up to the Scott's front porch.
Across town at the mall
The girls had decded to go shopping at the mal cause some of tehm needed new clothes to match their new wordrobe change. As they war walking from Macy's to Dillards while they are walking they started talking.
"So how is your ajustments going?" Aisha asked as she walked next to Kat.
"Well I have had some trouble with the coriqulem buyt I will manage I would be lost without my class escort theough." Kat said as she blushed slightly at the mention of said escourt.
"Oh so you either like the attention or the boy." Aisha probbed
"Maybe its a bit of both." Trini said from in front of them which caused Kat's blush to deepen.
"I've known Jason all my life, with that said he will make someone very happy once he decides he is ready to commit anyway." Trini told Kat as they walked through Dillards towards the caffateria.
"He really is a good guy I'm jsut nervous about ruining the growing friendship or worse the team." Kat said
"Wow you sound like someone else at this very table." Aisha said offering her thoughts on the matter as the group of girls sat down, not taking her eyes away from Trini.
"Hey don't look at me I'm not looking for anything like that I'm taking time to heal after Richie." Trini replyed throwing a glare in Aisha's direction.
It's been what like a year and besides you've known the other guy as long as you've known Jason." Aisha said defiently.
"Who is she talking about Tri?" Tanya asked
"She won't say so I'll give you a hint he has a fondness for the color blue and he's always helped our friends." Aisha cais causing Trini to turn a shade fo red that would make Rocky's suit look dull. Afterwards feeling embarrassed and slightly angry Trini quickly collected her belongings and promptly stormed off away from the other girls. She needed to get away before she said or did something our of anger. Moving through the aisleways of the Angel Grove Mall with a sence of urgency she quickly found an empty section, bolting for it Trini was able to be alone, looking around she saw nobody then she teleported.

"What were you thinking Aisha?" Tanya aksed
"I was thinking that maybe she deserves happiness with someone that she can share everything with." Aisha replyed cripticly as to not blow the whistle on their secret around anyone that might be listening in on the converstation.
"Well I will say your heart is in the right place but judgeing from Trini's reaction her head isn't" Kat said
The three sat there finishing thier lunches once they were finished they all left the mall wondering if things were going to be copacetic between them after these events.
At the Cranston house.
The two brainiacs were in Billy's lab( Cranston's Garage) going over the scamatics of the latest invention
"So how old were you when you lost your mom?" Justin asked
"Oh, I was around eight or nine maybe she had a tummar, when it burst it caused her brain to hemmerage before the doctors could get it under control she passed due to loss of blood." Billy explained which prompted Justin to explain how he lost his mother
"We were living in Mariner Bay my dad worked at Nasada like he does now. My mother was working at the bank on the corner of main and manchester, the report stated five suspesious characters ran into the bank in an attempt to make some qucik cash. Once they entered all that was heard were gunshots, my mother being the strong willed woman that she is refused to open her til so they gunned her down execusion style then turned around to shoot every eye witness." Justin finished as he broke down in sobs.
"Hey buddy I'm here for you anytime you want to talk, scream, or vent your frustration I'll always be here."Billy said as he comforted the younger teen.
It went from comforting to uncomfortable when Justin wiggeled in closer and audubly sniffed Billy's chest. The two seperated quickly and causiously of how the other would react.
"Maybe we should find you a girl your own age." Billy said not wanting to assume anything
"It wouldn't do much good, I'm not into girls." Justin informed
"Alright have you had this talk with your father?" Billy asked
"Yeah he helped me find places that made it easier to understand my feelings which in turn helped me to come out so to speak. I'll understand if you don't want to hang our anymore." Justin said thinking he just ruined the newly minted friendship. Billy sensing Justin's vaunerability chose to embrace and strengthen their friendship.
"No matter what your preferences are Justin I'll hang out with you anytime, besides your not my friend because of that, and its not just because we are teammates either, we share common intrest and hobbies plus your a good person someone i want to know now and in the future, don't let anyone tell you any differently or make you fell the need to hide who you are if they can't acept you for who you are they are losing a great oppertunity." Billy said ending with a tight hug, one that Justin defanetly needed.
Trini's bedroom
As soon as Trini laneded in the comfort of her bedroom she raised her wrist to her mouth and called on the only person she confessed her personal feelings to.
"Kimberly are you busy?" Trini asked through the communicator. In her head she heard "Whats up Tri, how are things?" Kimberly replied
"I was at the mall with the girls today and Kat was getting advice about your big brother, then at luch Aisha chose to embarrass me pointing out my feelings for our blonde teammate with a fondness for blue. I had to get out of there." Trini thought back
I'll admit Aisha may have taken it to far and I'm not trying to be insensitive here but Trini how long are you going to hold on to your past with Richie, I know the story please lets not travel down memory lane.
Flashback 1995 October 17th
Trini has just left her apartment hailed a taxi she was headed to pick up her boyfriend whom had just landed at the airport.
The drive was relatively quick, she noticed there was a lot of taxi's so she decided to stand just outside the door hoping she woul see Richie, sure enough he spotted Trini standing by the taxi and ran to her. They spent the weekend together in his hotel room as he wasn't allowed to stay with Trini. They spent the weekend going sight seeing, enjoying horseback rides through the country, and romantic candle light dinner for two. When the time came for Richie to return home they returned to the airport and as they said their goodbyes the emotions got the better of them. With tears in his eyes "I really wish I didn't have to go back but thats where my job is and my family, I honestly can't wait until you return from this peace confrence. I love you Trini." he said before he kissed her
"Be safe, I love you Richie and I will return as soon as my time here is over." Trini said as he walked away, she turned and hailed another taxi as Richie entered the door at the same time the taxi drove away an explostion rocked the airport looking back Trini noticed the building colllapse.
End Flashback
Coming out of her daze she thought back "You know how I feel about him I have for a while I'm just scared of loosing someone else close to me again and in our line of work the risks are higher exspeacially with the threat growing enough to need all of us to return I'm ever more afraid of getting to close to anyone else." Trini replyed
"Trini you can't allow your past to dictate your future, and besides Billy would understand if you felt better about taking it slow. We were all there when you layed him to rest, we all were there to help in any way that was possible." Kimberly explained.
"I know he would but I don't feel that I'm ready to go through that right now." Trini replyed
"I understand being causious, but don't let the oppurtunity slip away out of fear." Kimberly suggested.
"Kimberly break time is over, lets get back to practice." Coach Schmit said.
"I have to go Tri I'll call you tonight." Kimberly thought back
"Alright I've calmed down enough I can explain things to the other girls. Thank you Kim I really needed some help with all of my emotions surrounding this." Trini replyed as Kimberly leaped onto the beam.
"Anytime Trini I'll talk to you later." Kimberly replyed as she went through her beam routine.
Across town Tommy and his brother David were unloading some of furnature as Sam carried the boxes into the house Sam had purchased.
"So are you excited about starting at your new high school?" David asked trying to start a casual conversation with his long lost brother.
"I guess, I mean its my fourth school change so I'm not here for long before college starts calling so I'm just going to focus on my school work and keep practicing my karate." Tommy replied.
"That I understand I was homeschooled by our grandfather and some other tribe memevers that lived on the reservation. Now i am planning to go to medical school I want to be able to help people." David said suprising his brother.
"What was our parents like?" Tommy asked as they sat teh couch down.
"From what I remember and what grandfather told me, dad was the strong silent type. He spent his days in the garage working on the stock cars, he took time to go hunting when it was in season. From what grandfather told me our father ran his own shop and racing team along side uncle John who currently still runs the shop.
Mom on the other hand was all over the place, she could hunt like dad cook anything from scratch, which I'm sure thats where I get the talent from. She is also the reason i want to become a doctor, I know it won't bring her back but my hope is to save other children from that tragedy so early in life." David explained.
"How old was i whe..." Tommy started but was choked up by his emotions.
"You hadn't been born yet when our father passed, He was out hunting and he had clipped an elk, while tracking the animal he was cut off by a giant black bear when it lunged at him, doing the only thing he could think of he shot at the bear unfortunetly it was to late and both he and the bear tumbled off the cliff.
As for our mother she was in the delivery room giving birth to you when she started having complications she had a tough choice to make ultimatly she chose to give you a chance at a full life." Eric explained as he hugged Tommy in a tight embrace.
That is the sight that Sam walked in on carrying another load of boxes.
"You two going to help unload or stand there holding each other?" Sam asked then he noticed the look on their faces he knew what had just happened. David and Tommy seperated then turned and descreatly whipped their eyes then returned to unloading the moving truck.
Angel Grove CA
Two figures walk inot the Juice bar quickly approached the counter.
"Good afternoon officers." Ernie said.
"Hello Ernie could we get two of the house specials please?" Bulk asked.
"With two milkshakes." Skull added
"I'll get those right away" Ernie said as he walked into the kitchen when the ground shook and the power went out...
