Last time, our heroes arrived at Redfox Town, where Serena participated in a huge Pokémon Pageant. She faced both her old rival, Violet, but also Jessie of Team Rocket. Serena sadly couldn't progress past to the battle round, but she decided to allow Wobbuffet to fight with Jessie in her battle round against Violet. Jessie won, winning a silver medal. Still, the experience has made Jessie start to miss her old Pokémon.

The heroes made their way back down to the beach, watching everyone relax in the sun, and some kids building sand castles and playing in the water.

"It sure is a nice day around here," said Ash, as he and his friends walked down the beach.

"Yeah, it'd be a shame to miss out on all this before leaving," said Serena. "Who's up for a swim?"

"Absolutely!" Ash and Vernon said. Pikachu, Toxel, and Wobbuffet all voiced their approval too.

Of course, RotomDex wasn't as keen on swimming. "Uh, you guys go ahead. I don't want my Dex to get wet."

"That's fine, Rotom," said Ash, and he and the other took off like rockets.

Speaking of rockets, Jessie, James, and Meowth were spying on them from above, disguised as tourists.

"I've waited long enough," said Jessie. "I can't take it anymore. I'm taking Wobbuffet back!"

"Jessie, please,"said Meowth. "I know you miss it, but if you can't understand why it left, you'll never get it back."

"I know why it won't come back," said Jessie. "Those lousy twerps, they have it brainwashed!"

"Is that really it?" James said.

Jessie paused as she kept thinking back to the day Wobbuffet decided to leave her. "Y-yes, I know. I should have treated it better, I admit. But I didn't really mean those things I said. Wobbuffet is one of us."

"Not sure that's what it wants to hear, Jess," said Meowth.

"Oh, never mind it!" said Jessie. "Look, we know the plan! We just get Wobbuffet separated from those twerps and I'll grab it, and then I'll beg it for forgiveness."

Ash and Pikachu were playing in water, splashing each other, while Vernon was helping Toxel to swim.

"I gotcha, Pikachu!" Ash said, splashing some water into the little Pokémon's face.

"Pika!" Pikachu responded by smacking the top of the water with its tail, splashing water all over the place.

"Hey! said Vernon as he barely dodged the water. "Try to keep the water over there to yourself!"

"Sorry!" said Ash. "Hey, is Serena finished getting dressed yet?"

"Yep!" came Serena's voice, as she walked over wearing a pink swimsuit. It definitely caught Ash's attention as she made her way into the water as well. "I gotcha, Ash!" She splashed some water into Ash's face, and Ash returned to reality and grinned, splashing her back.

Suddenly, they heard a loud honk. The group looked over to see a big cruise ship moving towards port.

"Whoa, check out the size of that thing!" said Ash.

"Yeah, you guys know what it's about?" came a voice. The group turned to see Olga walking up to them.

"Oh, Olga," said Serena. "I was wondering where you got off to."

"So you know about that cruise ship?" said Vernon.

"Oh, yeah," said Olga, looking over at the ship. "It's actually kind of a party ship. It likes to take people out to sea at night and throw extravagant parties as it tours the waters."

"Oh, really?" said Ash. "Sounds like fun! Why don't we try it?"

"Oh, tonight's party is going to be so much fun!" said Olga. "They're doing a haunted theme tonight!"

"A haunted theme, huh?" said Vernon. "Sounds like it's perfect for you."

"Yeah, I always love the cruise's parties. But this party, me and my Pokémon are going to have some fun with everyone!" Olga said, sporting a mischievous grin.

"What do you say, guys?" said Serena. "Shall we go?"

"Of course!" said Ash.

"Wobbuffet!" said Wobbuffet.

"Heh, Wobbuffet sure seems excited," said RotomDex.

Not far away, Team Rocket was eavesdropping. "You hear that?" said Jessie. "They're going to a little party on a ship."

"Ooh, it sounds like it could be fun, actually!" said James.

"Stay focused!" said Jessie. "This could be our opportunity! The twerps will be distracted by all the festivities! So when they aren't looking, we'll lure Wobbuffet away!"

Who's that Pokémon?

Since they have two divided brains, at times they suddenly try to take two different actions at once.

"Wow!" said Ash as he looked over the cruise ship's deck. All the crew members were wearing makeup to make them look like ghosts. They had red lights all over to give the place an eerie feel. And the music that was playing sounded like ghosts singing.

"Man, this place is so cool!" said Ash. Suddenly, Wobbuffet popped out of its PokéBall.

"Wobbuffet!"

"Hey, calm down, Wobbuffet," said Vernon. "We got plenty of time to do everything."

"hey, guys, check it out!" called Olga's voice. Everyone saw her on the edge of the ship, so they went over to look at the sea with her.

"Whoa!" they all said. The entire sea was glowing a blue-green color.

"Just how does a sea glow like this?" said Serena.

Olga was about to respond, but RotomDex suddenly spoke up. "Oh, I know! My data says it is the result of a gatheribg if Algeep."

"Way to take steal my thunder, dude," said Olga, before she pointed to the water. "Look! You can see some Algeep from here!"

Everyone looked down to see a puny Pokémon. It looked like it had antennae, and it was oval-shaped and covered in glowing algae-like substance, with a little face.

RotomDex scanned it and said, "Algeep. The Microorganism Pokémon. A Water and Grass Type. Algeep is technically not one organism, but it made up of hundreds to thousands of microscopic creatures together. They possess a form of bioluminescence, and like to float at the top of the sea at night in large groups. Does not evolve."

"Yep, this is one if the perfect places to see Algeep collect like this," said Olga. "People come from all over just see it."

"It's really beautiful!" Serena gushed.

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet agreed.

Meanwhile, Team Rocket was standing nearby, disguised with skeletal costumes. "Alright, remember the plan," said Jessie. "You guys just lure the twerps away from Wobbuffet so I can take it back."

"Jessie, please," said Meowth. "Wouldn't it be easier to just walk up to Wobbuffet and talk to it?"

"Stop overcomplicating everything, Meowth!" said Jessie. "Now just go!"

James and Meowth groaned as they walked forward. "Why, hello, boys and girls! We're about to open our new booth here! If any of you want us to paint your faces to look the part of a spooky ghost, please come on down!"

Meowth jumped up on a booth, his face painted to look like a black-and-white skull. "Look at me, folks! Just call me the Great Skellington!"

"Ooh, face paint!" said Ash. "Sounds like fun. You guys wanna try it?"

"Sure!" said Serena.

"Eh I don't know, aren't we a little old for face paint?" said Vernon.

"Come on, Vernon, you'll love it!" said Ash, grabbing his arm as he and Serena dragged him over. Jessie peeked out nearby as she saw Wobbuffet all alone.

"Perfect!" she said. However, as she slipped forward, she saw Olga standing between her and Wobbuffet.

"Wob?" said Wobbuffet.

"Nah, I love ghosts, but I don't need to look like one."

Jessie growled under her breath. Seriously?! Now this girl is in my way? How is she not getting her face painted? Who doesn't want to have their face painted?

Suddenly, though, the ship was shaken. A giant tentacle came down on the deck, and everyone shrieked in terror. As the boat rocked, some people looked over the edge and saw a Pokémon that looked like a Tentacruel, but even bigger, and its head was more squid-shaped, and its tentacles much longer.

"What the heck is that thing!?" said Meowth.

"Hold on," James pulled out some the cards from Professor Acacia's lab and searched through them. "It says it's called a Tentakraken. It's Water and Poison, and is known as the Kraken Pokémon. And it says it evolves from Tentacruel when leveled up while knowing Ship Wrecker. It was notorious in ancient times with ships as it tried to pull them under the tide, and its tentacles are strong enough to smash boulders in two. But... even so, Tentakrakens aren't supposed to be as big as this!"

Suddenly, a giant ship appeared. But the ship was glowing a ghostly green, and it seemed to just appear out of thin air. Suddenly, a bunch of Pokémon floated onto the deck. They were mostly Ghost-Types, a Haunter, a Dhelmise, a Jellicent, and a Lampent. And then, a mysterious man was levitated down onto the deck. He was glowing blue, and he was dressed like a pirate, with a white beard and big hat, and with a Squawkabilly on his shoulder. It seemed he was being levitated by a big Pokémon that looked like a big skull and crossbones.

"Wh-wh-what is this?" said Meowth. "Who is this guy? And who's that Pokémon helpin' him fly?"

James looked through his cards again. "It says... it's a Ghost Type called Crosskull. It's the Jolly Roger Pokémon, and it is said it represents the soul of a vicious pirate that was lost at sea. So it scours the ocean, looking for new plunders."

"Well, well, well," said the mysterious man as he walked forward. "It's a shame you all had to wade into my waters while I was around."

"Your waters?" said a passenger.

"Yes," said the man. "I hereby claim these waters in the name of the great Captain Whitebeard! Ar har har!"

"Just what do you want?" said another passenger.

"Do you not know what a pirate is?" said Whitebeard. "We search and pillage any ship we find!"

"Not gonna happen!" came Ash's voice, and Whitebeard turned to see Ash, Pikachu, Serena, RotomDex, and Vernon running up to face them. "You want a fight? We'll give you one!"

"Go, Braixen!" said Serena, as she let out her Pokémon.

"Go, Jelloater!" said Vernon, letting out his Pokémon.

"You dare stand up to the greatest pirate of our time?" said Whitebeard. "Very well, I shall give you a one way ticket to Davy Jones' locker!"

Pikachu, Braixen, and Jelloater all clashed with the Ghost Type Pokémon, all the passengers tried to get away from the pirates. James and Meowth slunk back towards Jessie, and they whispered to her, "Jessie, this is crazy! We need to get out of here! This guy means business!"

"Grr," Jessie growled, "No, not without Wobbuffet! I won't let it get hurt!"

Suddenly, the boat rocked thanks to Tentakraken, and Wobbuffet, standing close to the edge, ended up slipping and falling overboard.

"Wob!" it cried out.

"WOBBUFFET!" Jessie cried out. Without thinking, Jessie ran and jumped overboard, grabbing onto Wobbuffet. They nearly fell into the sea, but fortunately, Jessie's PokéBall popped open, and Napiat came out to grab Jessie and hold onto the side of the ship.

"W-Wob?" Wobbuffet said as it saw Jessie.

"Oh, Wobbuffet, I was so scared you were a goner there for a second!" Jessie said, holding onto her former Pokémon with tears in her eyes.

"Wob?"

Suddenly, Choaking came down and helped Jessie and Wobbuffet float back up onto the deck.

"Wobbu?"

"Of course I saved you, Wobbuffet!" said Jessie. "I-I-... I could never leave you, Wobbuffet. No matter what!"

Suddenly, they heard a crashing and looked over to see Pikachu, Jelloater, and Braixen beating back the Ghost Types. "Give it up!" said Ash. "You can't beat us!"

"Hmm, I agree," said Whitebeard, before he suddenly grinned. "In fact, I've been looking for folks as tough as you!" The Crosskull rose up, and emitted a Hypnosis on the heroes, and they all struggled to stay awake.

"Grr, no you... don't..." muttered Serena as she tried to stay awake.

Whitebeard grinned and said, "Do it now!" Crosskull floated over and used Teleport, taking everyone over to the mysterious ship. Everyone heard Whitebeard cackling, and saying, "Looks like I've just found some new recruits for me scurvy crew!"

And then, the ship just disappeared, and the Tentakraken released the ship, and it slithered away.

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet cried out.

It's Duosion!

"Is everyone okay?" said a crew member as they all checked on the passengers.

Jessie, James, and Meowth were all huddled in a corner around Wobbuffet.

"You okay, bud?" said Meowth. "That was a close call."

"Wob," Wobbuffet nodded.

"Good," said Jessie. "If anything happened to you, I'd..."

She trailed off, but then, Wobbuffet spoke up again. "Wobbu, Wobbuffet!"

"Uh, guys?" Meowth said. "Wobbuffet's asking us for help rescuing the twerps."

"The twerps?" said James.

"Hey, you guys!" came a voice. Team Rocket turned to face an approaching Olga. "Sorry, are you friends of those other people who just got abducted?"

"Friends?" said James. "Yeah, right, if you think-"

Jessie suddenly elbowed him, and said, "Uh, we're more like acquaintances. Uh, w-why do you ask?"

"Look, I need help rescuing them!" Olga said. "They could be in a lot if trouble right now! Who knows what that ghost pirate will do to them!?"

Team Rocket looked at each other with surprised looks, before Wobbuffet chimed in again. "Wobbu, Wobbuffet!" It was suddenly looking at Jessie with pleading eyes.

Jessie was surprised, but as she looked her old Pokémon in the eyes, she understood. "Those... uh... people mean a lot to you, don't they, Wobbuffet?"

"Wob."

Hearing this, Jessie closed her eyes and sighed. "Well, I guess I have no choice, do I?" She turned to face James and Meowth and said, "Boys, we have some Twerps to save!"

"Wha?!" said James and Meowth. "Are you serious?!"

"Yep," said Jessie. "If it means this much to Wobbuffet, then I have to do it for its sake."

Sighing, James and Meowth turned to Olga and Meowth said, "Well, how are we supposed to save thise guys?"

"It's okay," said Olga. "I think I know where they're going. There have been stories about ghosts haunting the seas around here, but some conspiracy theorists believe they come from a shipwreck graveyard a few miles from here!"

Team Rocket looked at each other, before Jessie turned to say, "Well, lucky for you, I think we have a little ride we can use."

Team Rocket and Olga were working inside Team Rocket's Magikarp sub, making their way through the icean as Olga directed them to the shipwreck graveyard. It, of course, was exhausting work.

"Geez, you guys sure this was the best was to power a sub?" said Olga.

"Hey, when you're building subs on a budget, then you can talk!" said James.

As Team Rocket pedaled, Jessie looked over to see Wobbuffet standing off to the side. She took a deep breath and said, "Wobbuffet? I-I don't know if you're aware if why we came but-"

Suddenly, the sub ran into something. James pulled down the periscope to see that they were in a whole area full of sunken ships.

"Yes!" said Olga. "We made it! But where's that ghost ship?"

"Uh, guys?" said James. He could see a giant, ghostly green moving through the water above. "I think we have company."

Carefully, the group managed to board the ghost ship. They sneaked around the lower deck, trying to avoid running into the Ghost Type Pokémon. It seemed like it was pretty quiet, though, no one around.

"Alright," where exactly are we going?" said Jessie.

"We're looking for the brig, of course," said Olga. "That's were pirates locked up their prisoners."

"Let's try splitting up," said Meowth. "James, you can take what's-her-name down this way." He pointed in one direction before pointing in another. "Jessie, Wobbuffet, we'll check down that way."

He walked off, and the other just shrugged and went the directions Meowth pointed.

After a while, Jessie looked over at Wobbuffet again and said, "Wobbuffet, we need to talk."

Wobbuffet looked at her surprised, but then Jessie suddenly blurted out, "Wobbuffet, I'm sorry. For everything." Wobbuffet and Meowth looked at her shocked, but she continued, "I'm sorry for everything I ever said to you. I'm sorry I said I wished I never caught you. I'm sorry I took you for granted for so long. I'm sorry for all the times I hit you. And..." She froze, struggling to get the words out of her mouth, "...And I get it. I-I think I finally understand. The reason you left. I made you feel like I didn't really care about our partnership. I shouldn't have made it about you leaving Team Rocket. I...I was more devastated at the thought of you leaving me."

"...Wob?"

"You... you were my partner, Wobbuffet," said Jessie. "You and I... I took it for granted I'd always have you by my side. And that's how I let you slip through my fingers. I'm sorry, Wobbuffet. For everything."

Suddenly, she stood in front of Wobbuffet, and said, "Wobbuffet... please come back!"

"Wob?" said Wobbuffet.

"I know you may not be ready to forgive me," said Jessie, "but I miss you so much! I miss having you by my side! And I'm not sure what to do without you!"

"Wob..." Wobbuffet said, impressed. Meowth was behind it, and he smiled to himself, happy Jessie finally understood.

However, there was a sudden voice. "Skull..." Everyone turned to see the Crosskull floating down to meet them. Following close behind it was Captain Whitebeard, Squawkabilly on his shoulder.

"Well, well, well," said Whitebeard. "Look what the tide dragged in."

"Look, buster," said Meowth, "We know you've got some twerps held hostage around here. So just tell us where they are, and no one gets hurt."

"Oh, but where is the fun in that?" said Whitebeard. "Those folks, I'm afraid, are sleeping right now. And when they awaken, they will make fine additions to my ghostly crew." He looked at Jessie before saying, "But why fight me? I sense the soul of a plunderer in you, too. Why not join my crew too?"

"Us? Join you?" said Jessie. She was about to rebuke him, but then she thought about it. Actually, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. We plunder and pillage to our hearts content, and we'd have gold for days! She had a fantasy about her, James, and Meowth swimming in a pool of gold.

"Wob!" came Wobbuffet's voice. Jessie looked over at it and saw it was giving Whitebeard a stern look.

Quickly, she snapped herself back to reality and said, "Sorry, not gonna happen." She threw her PokéBall and out came Napiat.

"So that's how it's going to be?" said Whitebeard. "Crossskull, use Shadow Ball."

Crosskull shot a purple ball, but Jessie said, "Smack it back with Iron Tail!" Napiat's tail turned silver and it sent Shadow Ball back to where it came from.

Meanwhile, James and Olga were searching around, until finally, they saw a jail cell at the end of the hall. Quickly, they ran over and looked inside to see Team Twerp inside, but sleeping like rocks.

"Yes! We found them!" said Olga.

Suddenly, though, they heard a coo, and they turned to see all the Ghost Types.

"Heads up, we're in for a fight!" said James, throwing his PokéBall, and out came Possneak. Olga threw her own PokéBall and out came Froslass.

"Use Crunch!" said Jessie. Napiat jumped up and caught Crosskull in its teeth.

Meanwhile, Meowth was engaged with the Squawkabilly, trying his best to fight it. Squawkabilly kept thrusting at Meowth with a Fury Attack, but Meowth countered with his Fury Swipes. Finally, it charged forward with a Brave Bird, but suddenly, Wobbuffet got in the way and used Counter, sending it flying back.

"Thanks for that, bud!" said Meowth before he ran forward and slashed Squawkabilly with Fury Swipes, and it fell unconscious. "Even now, me and Wobbuffet remain the greatest team ever!"

"Wobbuffet!" said Wobbuffet.

Napiat and Crosskull continued to clash, but Crosskull managed to hit Napiat with a Water Pulse, sending it across the room.

"Napiat!" said Jessie, but then, Crosskull fired a Shadow Ball directly at her. She gasped, but then Wobbuffet jumped in front of her and reflected it with a Mirror Coat, sending it back at Crosskull.

"Wobbuffet! You actually saved me..." said Jessie.

Wobbuffet looked at her with a salute and a grin and a "Wob!"

Jessie smiled with tears in her eyes and she hugged the blue Pokémon. "I knew it! I knew it all along!"

Whitebeard just stared at them unamused, and told Crosskull to use Shadow Ball again. But as it charged up the move, Napiat suddenly charged up to it and used Crunch again, which finally defeated it as it fell to the floor.

"Yes! We got you now, buster!" said Meowth. However, as soon as Crosskull hit the floor, Whitebeard suddenly fell over unconscious.

"Use Foul Play!" said James. Possneak grabbed Dhelmise as it tried to attack and it threw it back into the other Pokémon.

"Use Blizzard!" said Olga. Froslass shot out some icy wind, blowing the Pokémon back, and they all fell defeated.

"Alright! I think that's the last of them!" said James as he recalled Possneak. Looking back at the cell, he grabbed the door and shook it, asking, "Now how on earth do we get this stupid thing open?"

Suddenly, the door just ripped off its hinges. As James and Olga stared in disbelief, Olga said, "Seriously? Not a very good place to keep prisoners."

"Ship is old, I guess?" said James.

Eventually, James and Olga were carrying the unconscious heroes back down to the sub. "Man, these twerps really need to go on a diet," muttered James to himself.

"We're back!" came Meowth's voice. They looked over to see Jessie, Meowth, and Wobbuffet dragging the unconscious Whitebeard over.

"Is that Whitebeard?" said Olga. "What did you guys do to him?"

"Nothing!" said Jessie. "We defeated that Crosskull of his, and he just passed out.

Suddenly, the group heard a loud cry, and they looked out of the ship to see all the Ghost Types flying off the ship. Crosskull was the last to go, and it flashed the group an angry look before fleeing.

"What are they running from?" said Meowth. However, his question was quickly answered as they looked over to see the tide was getting rougher and rougher, and the ship was starting to tip over.

"Oh, boy," said Olga. "We gotta get going!"

Suddenly, out of the water in front of them, the Tentakraken shot out. It looked at the group and tried to grab them with its tentacles.

"Oh, come on!" said Jessie. "I just had to stick my neck out for Twerps, didn't I?" she muttered to herself.

Quickly, the group jumped down into the sub, and they quickly began pedaling to get the sub away from Tentakraken as fast as possible.

After what felt like hours, Team Rocket finally got the sub back to shore. They were exhausted, but they sat the heroes down on the beach.

"Man," said James. "I can't believe we actually did this."

"We had to," said Jessie as she looked at Wobbuffet. "These twerps mean too much to Wobbuffet."

Suddenly, Whitebeard groaned and sat up, rubbing his head. "Ugh, where am I?"

"Oh, you got a lot to answer for, Whitebeard!" said Olga.

"Huh?" Whitebeard said groggily. "Who's Whitebeard? Name's Danny, bro." Everyone looked at him shocked, but he continued. "All I remember is going for a swim one day, then I see some Crosskull pop out of the water. Then there's a big light, and then everything went black." He felt his face, but ripped off his beard, which was apparently fake. "What is this? A fake beard?" He felt his head and pulled off his hat. "Who put a pirate's hat on me?"

Team Rocket and Olga only looked at each other confused, before Olga said, "I think I better have a word with this guy." She pulled him aside to further down the beach.

Jessie then looked at Wobbuffet, and she said, "Well, Wobbuffet, here we are. We saved... your friends. I did it for you, you know. So... do you think you..."

"Wobbu! Wobbuffet!" said Wobbuffet.

Meowth was surprised to hear what it was saying. "Jessie, it's saying it's not mad at you anymore. It says it forgives you. And it can't thank you enough for saving its friends."

"Really?" said Jessie, running up to hug Wobbuffet. "Oh, Wobbuffet! I'm so glad! I've missed you so much!"

"Wobbu, wobbu," Wobbuffet said.

Meowth gasped as he translated again. "Hold on, Jess, it's saying that even though it accepts your apology, it can't come back to Team Rocket."

"Huh?" said Jessie as she pulled back to look Wobbuffet in the eyes. "What are you saying?"

"Wobbu, wob, wob!"

"It says that the time it's spent with the twerps, it just can't turn its back on them. The twerps are still its friends too, so it just can't partake in anything that would force it to fight them."

Jessie looked at Wobbuffet with shock, but as she saw the look in it's eyes, she understood. She looked iver at the still-unconscious twerps on the ground, before looking back at Wobbuffet. "I get it. They're..." She struggled to actually get the words out if her mouth. "They're your friends now too. But Tram Rocket, whether it's us or someone else, they'll always be enemies to them, won't they?"

"Wob," Wobbuffet nodded.

"I think I finally understand," said Jessie. "It's not about wanting to leave us, but leaving Team Rocket itself, isn't it?"

"Wob," Wobbuffet nodded. "Wob, wob, wobbu, wob."

Meowth translated, "It says, 'I don't want to live the criminal life anymore. But you guys don't have to either. Why don't you leave Team Rocket, too? Then we can all be together again. Even my new friends would be willing to welcome you too."

Jessie, James, and Meowth all looked at each other in shock. Leave Team Rocket? How could they do such a thing? But even so, they still missed Wobbuffet, and it seemed like it was happy leaving the criminal lifestyle. So...

Jessie, James, and Meowth whispered with each other for the longest time, but finally, Jessie looked at Wobbuffet, eyes closed, and said, "Wobbuffet, I'm sorry, but we can't. Team Rocket is everything to us. We can't just leave it. Not even... for you."

Wobbuffet stood there stunned, but then it got a stern look and said, "Wob."

"I guess this is just how things are now," said James. "Fate has taken us into different directions."

Jessie was holding back the tears in her eyes, but she looked at Wobbuffet and said, "Wobbuffet, I never want to be enemies with you. But if you really want to stay with the twerps... I won't stop you. If it's what you really want."

"Wob..." Wobbuffet said.

"But we won't turn our backs on Team Rocket. So if you do stay with them... well, you might have to make a difficult decision on who you will stand by."

"Wob..." Now Wobbuffet was struggling not to cry.

Suddenly, the "twerps" began to stir, and Meowth said, "Well, that's our cue." He looked at Wobbuffet, before he, James, and Jessie gave it a hug. "So long, old friend."

The three then ran off, and Ash sat up and saw Wobbuffet. "Wobbuffet? Oh, thank goodness! We were all worried about you! You okay?"

Wobbuffet looked at Ash, and gave a small salute. "Wob!"

"So you're really not a pirate?" Olga said, as she, Ash, Serena, Pikachu, RotomDex, and Wobbuffet sat in front of Whitebeard, or rather, Danny, on the beach.

"It's true," said Danny. "That Crosskull, I think it hypnotized me or something. I really am sorry for anything it made me do. I never wanted to hurt anyone."

"Well, it's alright," said Ash. "At least you're okay. And we know you weren't doing anything wrong by your own free will."

"I'm just glad thise friends of yours rescued us all," said Danny.

"Friends?" said Serena.

"Yeah, these three fellows?" said Olga. "A red-head, a blue-head, and a little guy. They got aling really well with Wobbuffet, at least."

Ash and Serena looked at Wobbuffet surprised, but it just stayed quiet, not really looking at them.

"I see..." said Serena. "Well, if you ever see them again... tell 'em we said thanks." Hearing this, Wobbuffet perked up.

"Hey, I got ice cream!" Vernon's voice came, as everyone turned to see him carrying a tray of ice cream. They all smiled and befan to dig in. Vernon also gave Wobbuffet a blue-colored dish. "Here, you go, Wobbuffet. I got you your favorite!"

"Wobbuffet!" Wobbuffet cheered, as it happily govbled down. Looking up, it suddenly saw something, though: three familiar friends watching it. However, the moment Wobbuffet saw them, they ducked out if view, causing Wibbuffet to sigh.

Above, Team Rocket were sitting alone by themselves. "So," said Meowth, "now what?"

Jessie was silent for a long time, before she said, "Nothing's changed. It's still business as usual. Wobbuffet or not, we're still going to get Pikachu if we can." However, she peeked back down at Wobbuffet enjoying the day with its new friends, and she still sighed.

It's been wuite an adventure today, and an emotional rollercoaster. Stay tuned, as the journey continues!

TO BE CONTINUED...

I was going to upload this by Halloween, but I couldn't finish it in time. So, happy belated Halloween!
