Well back for another weekly chapter which I hope you all will like.
However, since the video in which this chapter is was only 36:38 minutes long. I don't honestly know how long this chap will be if it appears like it is getting too short. I am going to try and make it long.
Which means I'll most likely have to pull something out of my ass.
However, I now feel the need to lay down some ground rules.
Rant Alert*
Rule 1 These are my stories. You all can submit suggestions on who you want in the Harem if it is open, for example, my Transcendent Shinobi, Saiyan of Legend, which that poll is closed on. Maelstrom of SOLDIER except Kyrie. Which is a huge NO her inability to learn from her mistakes is not someone I want anywhere for the team at all and is a large turn-off for me.
Rule 2 Honestly this is what pisses me off the most under no circumstances are you to ever and I mean EVER tell me who you don't want in these stories. These stories are about who you want, not who you don't want.
For example, there was this one person I blocked simply because he all but ordered that I place the two girls I have with Raditz with Naruto and Vegeta with Bulma simply because he didn't like it. His ignorance was showing and I was not going to have it.
Now you all have been kind so far and I appreciate that. But if you want to order me around just because you don't like a certain person with someone else. Well then I am more than happy to show you my block button. Or if you are a guest show you how you can find your comment deleted.
I am so sick and tired of this shit grow up this is fanfiction you don't like the choices of a harem I or other reads suggest then move on. Get it? Got it? Good.
Oh and one last thing with regards to Haku and this fox from DBZ Super which I admit I haven't seen all the way yea that is likely the only 2 exceptions I'll make to gender-bending 1 well Haku is too hot to be a guy. That is my story and I am sticking to it. As for the Tailed Beasts, they are genderless. So if I can fit them in I will.

Anyway, enough of my rambling and ranting on with the chapter.
The Day Midgar Stood Still
~Shinra HQ~
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN HOJO'S DEADLY BEHEMOTH WAS TAKEN DOWN!" Scarlet shouted in panic and shock. According to Hojo that door was sealed so no one should have been down there. Then Scarlet widened her eyes. 'Dear Gaia please tell me he wasn't crazy enough to take on that beast,' Scarlet thought, praying to all who could hear her that her Naruto-kun was not involved.
~flashback~
"You wished to see me, Madam Director?" Naruto asked, wondering what one of his superiors wanted.
"Yes General Uzumaki please come in so we can talk in private," Scarlet said looking at Naruto who nodded slowly.
So Naruto walked in and discreetly put up a silencing seal so that no one could hear what they were talking about.
Hey just because Hojo got his dirty hands on him when he was thrust into this world by Kaguya. That did not mean he could take away what was in his blood.
Sure Hojo tried numerous times to take his blood by force if he had to. But once he saw it dissolve each time he tried he realized he had to give it up willingly.
Which would not happen unless he put some controls on him to make him obey. Something that proved impossible since no methods he tried worked.
He even put him through the Jenova Project to make him subservient. However, that proved to be a fatal mistake since the cells now in him chose to bond with him in a way that would make him immune to all poison.
However, that power would take a while to activate if it did at all.
"Naruto being a former lab rat, I feel it is my job as your friend to warn you about a deadly creature Hojo created," Scarlet said, cringing at the fact she had to remind Naruto of the horrors Hojo put him through to control him.
"I am already aware of that Scarlet. Hojo was too eager to brag about his pet project and how deadly it really is. I must say though from how proud Hojo was of his creation. Well, it even made me fear what would happen if it got out," Naruto said, making Scarlet nod.
"Fortunately Hojo wasn't stupid enough to keep it around when he began losing control of it," Scarlet said, making him sigh in relief.
"Good to know that even that Crazy madman had enough sense to lock that thing away once he began to lose control," Naruto said, causing Scarlet to agree with him. Even she found his methods borderline insane.
"Now General Uzumaki that isn't very nice to call your superiors," Scarlet said with a smirk then frowned yeah you're right Hojo is one hell of a madman, " Scarlet said.
"That is accurate," Naruto said, knowing that very soon he would create something out of his control and he would end up dead because of it.
~flashback end~
"Kunsei my phone," Scarlet said as calmly as possible before Scarlet was handed her phone and she dialed Naruto's number.
~Collapsed Sector 7 Plate~
"Ok, two goals. Goal 1 we kick some Shinra ass," Barret said, getting nods all around. "Goal 2 save the girl while kicking more Shinra ass," Barret finished before Naruto cut in.
"Don't forget to look good while doing it," Naruto said before high-fiving Cloud who smirked at his friend getting a chuckle out of Barret and giggles from Tifa.
Just then Naruto's phone rang, making him look at everyone who was grinning at him.
"I must be really popular," Naruto said before he answered his phone. Only to pull back when a VERY angry Scarlet nearly blew out his eardrum.
["NARUTO UZUMAKI WHAT IS THIS I HEAR ABOUT YOU TAKING DOWN HOJO'S DEADLY BEHEMOTH? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?"] Scarlet shouted before Naruto calmly placed the phone back at his ear.
"I didn't have a choice. The doctor needed medicine since he ran out treating others after the plate fell," Naruto said, making Scarlet sigh.
["Did you at least deal with it's regeneration?"] Scarlet asked.
"Of course I did. I know all about the King Behemoth which Hojo created," Naruto said.
["Then you know it's alive again in the Train Graveyard right?"] Scarlet asked receiving silence.
"Come again, Scarlet? I don't think I heard you right. Did you say that thing is alive?" Naruto asked, confusing his team. Then made them pale knowing what the conversation was about.
["That is exactly what I said Naruto-kun,"] Scarlet said.
"I am NOT going to the Train Graveyard just to kill it a second time," Naruto said.
["You don't have to. I am not sure how but the Train Graveyard doesn't seem to exist now,"] Scarlet said, making Naruto sigh in relief. ["You were not cut by it were you?"] Scarlet asked in a worried tone recalling what Hojo said what happens if the Death Behemoth cut you.
"No, of course I wasn't. Even I am not crazy enough to be cut by something that can kill you within minutes and that has no cure," Naruto said slightly lying so she didn't worry. 'I am not even sure how I got grazed in the first place. I am pretty sure I dodged all of its weapons,' Naruto though honestly confused as was the Tailed Beasts.
["Good now maybe I can calm down Elena so she will stop tossing my soldiers left and right,"] Scarlet said with a giggle. While in the background Kunsei shifted nervously since he was one of the soldiers that kept being tossed around by the crazy blond.
"Kunsei was the one that kept getting his ass tossed didn't he?" Naruto asked, remembering his, Cloud, and Zack's old friend.
["Like you wouldn't believe,"] Scarlet said with a slight giggle.
"Well, the time for talking is almost near. We are on course to save Aerith and kick some Shinra ass," Naruto said before he narrowed his eyes not that Scarlet saw. "He didn't touch her did he?" Naruto asked in a dangerous voice.
["Rest assured Naruto-kun, Aerith is safe. However, I feel like I won't be able to keep her safe for long. I don't know what Hojo has in his sick twisted mind but it can't be good. It's bad enough that she is naked in his lab,"] Scarlet said before she felt like death was with her when Naruto spoke in a tone so cold it would make even the most battle-hardened warrior run for his life.
"If he so much as touches her. I am going to personally cut off what makes Hojo a man and feed it to him. Then I am going to destroy all his precious experiments and make him watch in horror while I do it with a smile on my face. With Tifa's help that is," Naruto said with a bloodthirsty smile, missing Barret, Cloud and by extension, Kunsei holding the very tool that makes them men. But not missing Tifa pounding her closed fist into her open palm. With a vindictive smirk on her face.
["Well I shall prepare for your arrival then,"] Scarlet said before she ended the call.
"Well we have an ally waiting, we best get a move on," Naruto said, getting nods from Cloud, Tifa, and Barret since Jill and Gentiana chose to return to their Materia after they arrived top side.
Then they pressed on after witnessing a building collapse. However, since the area was vacant there wasn't much to worry about.
"So what did Scarlet want?" Cloud asked while Naruto chuckled a little.
"Oh, the usual. She wanted to know if I had a death wish to face the monster we just defeated," Naruto said, receiving a round of chuckles and giggles.
"Well, we did just take down your worst fear Naruto-kun. Even if it was revived in the Train Graveyard. But what did we hear about it not being part of this world any longer?" Tifa asked, making Naruto shrug honestly confused about that as well.
"Who knows it could be Gaia's doing which would make the most sense with monsters like the Licker and the Death Behemoth now in the Train Graveyard. Well, it is for the best that those creatures didn't exist here. Because sooner or later they might figure out that they weren't confined to that place," Naruto said, making them nod.
"I shudder to think what other powerful lab experiments that crazy bastard has," Barret said.
"Honestly I hope that is the strongest he had. I do NOT want to fight anything worse than that," Cloud said, receiving nods from everyone as they kept going. Missing Naruto's wince of pain.
~a few minutes later~
"Hey, you should turn back. It's dangerous out there," a Neighborhood Watch member said.
"A friend of ours is in trouble. Turning back isn't an option for us," Tifa said, making the guys nod.
"I wish you luck then and hope this friend of yours returns to you safe and sound," the man said, receiving nods from them as they continued.
~a few minutes later~
"That didn't take long," Naruto said, seeing enemies coming at them which Cloud scanned. Then saw they were Byobapolis and were weak to Lightning and Wind.
"Easy," Naruto and Cloud said before launching a Thundara spell at them to bring them down. Then the team started pounding on them after they were staggered then moved on.
~a few seconds later~
Again with these guys," Naruto said before he blasted them with a Thundaga spell, getting rid of them. By making them drop to their death since they were in mid-air.
~a few minutes later~
"Watch out Cerulean Drake's," Cloud said before Naruto stepped forward and created mini tornadoes around his fists.
"Eat this Wind-style Tornado Fist," Naruto said before pushing his fists out as the tornadoes shot from his fists and engulfed the Drakes before they too dropped to their deaths.
"Not taking any chances are you Naruto-kun?" Tifa asked, causing Naruto to shake his head.
"With Aerith in the presence of Hojo naked. I am not taking this lightly," Naruto said in a firm tone making Tifa nod before kicking a hidden Drake and Naruto freezing it with his Ice Materia.
Then they proceeded by climbing up a ladder and saw a building structure in the distance.
"That is going to come down right on top of us if we are not careful," Tifa said, making everyone nod as they walked forward.
"Ok team it's grappling time," Naruto said, seeing a rope that would allow them to grapple. Then Naruto went first to make sure it was safe for the rest. "Ok your turn Tifa-chan," Naruto said before she grappled up. Followed by Cloud then lastly Barret.
"Too easy," Barret said before Naruto held out a hand making them back up. Then Naruto peered around the corner and spotted a machine he recognized from his Shinra training days.
"Ok this might actually be a challenge," Naruto said, making Barret glance and see the Elite Helitroopers and the big machine with them.
"We can take them," Barret said before Naruto looked at him with a deadpan look.
"Separate yes however with the Helitroopers and the Valkyrie. You must truly have a death wish," Naruto said then Cloud chimed in.
"Naruto is right. That thing is dangerous on its own we should know," Cloud said.
~flashback~
"Well Cloud, are you ready for today's simulation?" Naruto asked his SOLDIER friend (Keep in mind Cloud is not a SOLDIER. This is what the Jenova Cells in him did after he witnessed Zack's brutal death at the hands of Shinra)
"Sir yes sir General Uzumaki," Cloud saluted before the simulation started. Pitting them against a Valkyrie.
~flashback end~
"That was a hell of a fight, General," Cloud said, making Naruto chuckle.
"That was a first for me to Cloud. Especially with its special attack once it supposedly went down," Naruto said, shivering at the blue beam attack.
"Oh c'mon, how bad can it be?" Barret asked before he looked deadpan looks of Cloud and Naruto. "Why are you here again?" Naruto and Cloud said as well making Tifa giggle and Barret grumble but did nothing.
"We let them pass and only engage if needed," Naruto said, though hoped engaging wasn't needed.
"Ok let's move," Cloud said before he and Naruto once again took point.
Then came across a SOLDIER 3rd class Operator B. Which was weak to fire.
"Fire," Naruto said using his Fire Materia and roasting the SOLDIER then moving on. Then grappled their way up. Unfortunately due to the way Barret landed the top collapsed.
"Nice job Barret," Naruto said annoyed before he saw an Elite reach for his earpiece. "Oh no you don't SILFARION!" Naruto said then shouted and swiftly cut off their heads. Then neutralized the Hound.
"Was that necessary for you to do that Naruto-kun?" Tifa asked with a frown.
"Every second we waste is a second Hojo could be doing who knows what to Aerith and you know it Tifa. Besides I would do the same if you were in her place," Naruto said with fire in his eyes causing her to flush.
"Besides I think we were a little too late," Cloud said with a frown which Naruto mirrored.
Then just as they figured they were found by more Elites with an Elite Helitrooper and a 3rd C SOLDIER.
~5 minutes later~
"Chest ahoy," Cloud said with a smirk before Naruto opened it and collected 3,000 gil.
Then they decided to rest after Naruto picked up the soundtrack that was named Lurking in the Darkness.
Then they sat down. With Tifa sitting down in his lap and leaning against his chest.
"So what big project do you have in mind when this is all over Naruto-kun?" Tifa asked with a relaxed smile as Naruto combed his fingers through her hair.
"No spoilers Tifa-chan," Naruto said, making Tifa pout slightly. But trusted him since whatever he had in mind seemed a hell of a lot better than what Shinra had in mind.
"Naruto-kun you have to tell her eventually. After all, like you said those cut by the Death Behemoth don't have a lot of time/Naruto-kun you have to tell her eventually. After all, like you said, those cut by the Death Behemoth don't have a lot of time," the Tailed Beasts and Naruko said, making him frown.
'It will not come to that because I have no intention of dying. Not until I have given my girls a family of their own. That includes you Naruko-chan I will not rest until you have your own body,' Naruto thought, making the Tailed Beasts chuckle and giggle seeing the blush on Naruko's face at the mention of children with him.
Unknown to all of them, however, Ravelt was responding to his desire to live and was in the process of undergoing a transformation that would shock all of them. One that would free them from Destiny's control and allow them to make their own choice.
~15 minutes later~
"Ok people let's get a move on," Naruto said before Tifa got off his lap and he stood up. Then received an unexpected but not unwelcome kiss from Tifa before heading up a flight of stairs.
"Now what? It's a dead end," Tifa said, looking forward and seeing a dead end.
"Hey guys, I think I see a rope. Will that do?" Barret asked before they and Cloud looked up.
"That will do," Naruto," said before he grappled onto the rope followed by Tifa, then Cloud, and finally Barret. Then frying some Slug Rays.
"Up we go again," Naruto said before they grappled up. Then they saw Shock Rays and Slug Rays. Which again they fried before opening the chest next to them. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a weak Hi-Potion which Naruto would sell for something better.
Then they ran up yet another flight of stairs before they were jumped by a machine.
"Scan," Naruto said, scanning the machine and found it to be a Blast Ray. Which conventionally enough for them was weak to lightning. "Thundaga," Naruto said in a bored voice taking the Blast Ray out with a single shot.
"Getting bored Naruto-kun?" Tifa asked before Naruto looked at her and she giggled. "Would you like to rail my ass again?" Tifa asked before turning around, bending over, and spanking herself. Then giggled more when she not only saw Naruto's red face but also Barret and Clouds.
"Let's wait until Aerith is saved first," Naruto said, making Tifa giggle more and nod before they moved on.
~20 minutes later~
"That is a nice view," Barret said, looking out toward the distance. Even if it is just ruins.
"It is a good view isn't it," Naruto said, smiling then frowned. "Too bad it has to be seen in ruins because of Shinra," Naruto finished before they continued. Then crossing a narrow beam which was already dangerous enough.
Then not even a few feet they ran into more Byobapoils and Cerulean Drakes.
~a few minutes later~
"Are we sure this is safe?" Tifa asked, seeing a narrow ledge they had to cross.
"Just don't look down Tifa-chan and we will be on full solid flooring before you know it," Naruto said, not liking this either. But they had to get across somehow and something told him that manipulating the wind was a bad idea.
"Let me go first guys. That way I can bring you along without you having to worry about falling," Naruto said before crossing the narrow ledge first.
Then when Naruto was safely across. He used the Gravity Materia to levitate Tifa across and then Cloud and finally Barret.
"I thought I told you not to use the Gravity Materia like that. You know what it does to you Naruto-kun," Tifa said with a frown.
"I am fine Tifa-chan. I think I figured out the problem," Naruto said, causing them to listen in. "If I am lifting a person I am fine. However if I am lifting something I am not used to lifting then I start to bleed," Naruto said, causing them to raise a brow. It did sound like a good explanation.
"Fine, just don't overdo it. You can't complete the big project you have in mind if you are dead," Tifa said, making Naruto nod his head before they moved forward.
'Though I might not have a say in how I die now,' Naruto thought while the Tailed Beasts and frowned knowing that everything they were doing to ensure their friends' survival was failing so far.
"We got more Byobapolis inbound," Barret said.
"No we don't," Naruto said, encasing it in Ice and watching it plummet to its death.
"That is one way to avoid a fight," Cloud said with a smirk, making Barret and Tifa smile at Naruto's quick thinking since there wasn't enough room to fight.
"Don't look down," Naruto said, seeing another narrow ledge before they crossed one at a time.
"I hate these ledges," Barret said before they saw the Valkyrie. Sadly for them, it also spotted them too.
"SHIT GET TO COVER!" Naruto shouted before they hid behind some boxes as the machine fired on them.
"Damn, now how are we supposed to move on?" Barret asked before Naruto listened closely.
"I have the Valkyrie's pattern memorized. When it fires it has a cool down of at least 1 minute. In that time, tuck and roll to the next box," Naruto said (I love how they did this part. Those guards in the Shinra building in the OG were truly annoying. I only ever managed to move past the first set. Then had to rely on the glitch due to the fact you didn't have enough time to move before you were caught and dragged into battle on the fast-moving ones.
Naruto waited until the Valkyrie was finished. Then jumped to the next set of boxes just as it fired again.
~1 minute later~
"Now," Naruto said causing Tifa to jump just before she was fired upon.
~1 minutes later~
"Now," Naruto said once again before Barret jumped to the other side just as he was fired upon.
~1 minutes later~
"Now," Naruto said before Cloud ran and they repeated the process. Even when they were being bombarded going down a flight of stairs.
"Damn it, I hate that thing," Naruto said, making Cloud, Barret, and Tifa agree.
"Naruto-kun your hit," Tifa said, seeing 5 bullet holes through his shoulder.
"Oh c'mon that's just not cool," Naruto said a bit ticked. "Cure," Naruto said using his Cure Materia and healing himself.
"These monsters and machines really have it out for you Naruto," Barret said, making him sigh and nod his head knowing he had a point.
"Look," Barret said, seeing a Blast Ray annoying Naruto.
"So not dealing with this THUNDAGA," Naruto said before putting in his tier 1 Thunder Materia and casting Thundaga at it. Bringing it down in one shot. Then climbed up a ladder and saw Helitroopers.
"Damn Helitroppers," Naruto said before casting Ice and getting lucky to hit them out of the air and to their death. Despite it not being its weakness.
~a few minutes later~
"Cloud, Naruto-kun," Tifa called out before they stopped and looked off in the distance.
"What is gone can be rebuilt. As long as it isn't an innocent human life," Barret said before they smiled and nodded.
"We will build another bar. It is only a matter of time," Naruto said, making them nod.
Soon Naruto, Tifa, Cloud, and Barret used their grapple guns 2 more times before they appeared on what looked like a highway at one point before the collapse.
"Hold on a minute. Something isn't right," Naruto said before they were fired upon. Then saw the Valkyrie and ran for it. Only for it to appear in front of them.
"I was getting tired of running anyway," Barret said while the others nodded and got ready for combat.
"Cloud, Barret, Tifa blast it with Thunder. I'll take care of the Wind portion," Naruto said, making them nod before they started casting. WIND-STYLE GREAT BREAKTHROUGH!" Naruto shouted launching the C now B-Ranked Jutsu at it then quickly switched to his tier 2 Thunder Materia. "DARK THUNDAGA!" Naruto shouted, striking the Valkyrie, weakening it.
Then the Valkyrie took a cheap shot at Tifa and Barret before Naruto and Cloud used their grapple guns to save them.
"Ok this is getting annoying,' Naruto said. "Choke on this WIND-STYLE PRESSURE DAMAGE!" Naruto said and then shouted as he cast another B-ranked Jutsu at it. Bringing it down.
"We did it," Tifa said before Naruto and Cloud just looked at it.
"Don't celebrate just yet Tifa-chan, it is far from over," Naruto said before they saw a rod eject from the downed Valkyrie as it came back online.
"Now comes the hard part," Cloud said, knowing what was coming.
"What is that?" Tifa asked before the blue light surrounded her. Then before she knew it she found herself in Naruto's arms. Due to him using a quick Bansho Tenin.
"Keep that thing busy. Cloud and I know what to do," Naruto said before he and Cloud waited until the blue light was upon them and jumped aside as the Valkyrie moved into position before the Death Laser blasted the machine taking a chunk of its health.
"Alright you hit it," Tifa said before she dodged another shot from the machine.
"Indeed only now we have to wait until it recharges," Cloud said before they proceeded to launch Thunder and Wind. While waiting for the Death Laser to recharge.
~15 minutes later~
"Ok the laser is charged," Naruto said, seeing a thin light before rushing the Valkyrie as the beam followed. 'That's it, follow me,' Naruto thought before he jumped on the machine just as the beam got bigger.
"NARUTO-KUN MOVE!" Tifa shouted just as the laser fired striking the machine as everyone watched in horror.
Once the dust settled the Valkyrie was no more. But Naruto was nowhere to be seen as well.
"He sacrificed himself to stop that thing," Tifa said sadly before she fell to her knees and began crying, causing Barret to look at his friend sadly.
"As soon as you are finished mourning my supposed death, just let me know," Naruto said, making Tifa widen her eyes before she whipped her head back. Only to see her lover alive and well while smirking.
"Naruto-kun? Tifa asked softly, making him nod before she got up and ran to him. "NARUTO-KUN!" Tifa shouted before crashing into him. Forcing him to take a step back before she started weakly beating on his chest while calling him an idiot.
"But how? That blast was point-blank. How did you escape?" Barret asked, truly confused but happy his friend was alive. Hey just because he is a hard ass doesn't mean he doesn't care for others.
"You summoned one of your flying summons didn't you?" Cloud asked.
"Got it in one Cloud. Though I will admit even I wasn't sure Phoenix would appear in time and I would have been forced to tank the blast," Naruto said recalling how close he came to suffering a serious blow.
~flashback~
'That's it just a little wider,' Naruto thought seeing the blue beam expanding. "Phoenix," Naruto said, summoning the immortal bird before the Phoenix quickly engulfed Naruto in its flames just as the blast hit.
~flashback end~
"So you chose to wait until the last second to summon and make your escape?" Tifa asked clenching her fists and a shadow was cast over her eyes.
"Yep that about sums it up. Pretty smart huh?" Naruto asked before he felt Tifa radiate a dark aura. 'Uh-oh maybe I went a bit too far with my near-death stunt,' Naruto thought before he saw Tifa with fiery rage in her eyes before Naruto started running. With an angry Tifa right on his ass. "Oh c'mon Tifa-chan I had everything under control," Naruto said before he narrowly dodged a fist that impacted the ground cracking it. 'Note to self never cut things that close again if I want to live,' Naruto thought before he ran straight for the Shinra building laughing despite an angry Tifa behind him.
Then Tifa slightly smiled and started laughing as well while Barret and Cloud followed the happy couple.
Well there you guys have it, that is this week's chapter.
Honestly, I wasn't sure how long this chapter would be since this looked like it would be way too short simply because the video of this chapter I watched was only 36:38 long.
Add to the fact it was nothing but making their way to Shinra so I couldn't really do much. I was however able to give a reaction to Hojo's Death Beast being killed. Or so they thought.
Now the next chapter is another one of my favorites..
