(THEN WE SEE THE PEOPLE FLYING THOUGH SOME KIND OF TUNNEL AS THE PERCENTAGE CONTINUES FROM 5% AS IT RISES HIGHER AND HIGHER, BEFORE CUTTING TO A WOMAN IN BLUE ARMOR WITH A KID WITH A HAWK HEAD AND A KID WITH WHITE AND RED HAIR AS THEY TAKE ON SOME KIND OF MONSTER.)

(THE PERCENTAGE RISES HIGHER FROM 10% AS SOME OF THE MORE ANIMAL LOOKING MEMBERS SCRAMBLE UP AS THEY BEGIN TO FALL BEHIND, AS WE CUT BACK TO THE GROUP OF 3 AS A GIRL WHO IS HUNCHED OVER WITH A LONG TONGUE LIKE A FROG IS WITH A BOY WHO HAS PINK LIPS AND ANOTHER BOY WITH 6 ARMS WATCH THEM AS A TRAIN RUSHES PAST THEM.)

(WE GO UP TO 70% AS NOW 3 MEMBERS DROP OFF, WHILE WE CUT TO A SHOT OF EACH AND EVERYONE OF TH CHARACTERS WE HAVE SEEN LOOKING UP, WITH A LOOK THAT IS FILLED WITH CONFUSION AND WONDER.)

(WE GO PAST 80% AS ONE MORE FALLS AWAY, THEN 90% AS ONE THAT HAS GREEN ENERGY LINES ON HIS BODY FALLS JUST AS HE HOLDS OUT HIS HAND, WITH THE LAST ONE WITH ORANGE LINES ON HIS BODY THRUSTS HIS HAND OUTWARD JUST AS THE PERCENTAGE HITS 100%)

"Keep him disoriented!" A Lead Ranger called out, as a giant Villain with the head of a shark tried to flatten him.

"THAT DOESN'T SEEM TOO HARD TO DO SINCE ALL HE'S BEEN TRYING TO DO IS BITE US!" A female Ranger called out as she limboed underneath the attempt at a bite.

"YOU THINK YOU RANGERS ARE ENGOUGH TO TAKE DOWN AN S-CLASS VILLAIN LIKE ME!?" The villain roared as he very nearly took out the bridge they were fighting on.

However, the squad of 5 Rangers just looked at each other in confusion.

"S-Class? I checked your file, dude. You're just a D-Class villain." The heavily armored Ranger told him as that seemed to get under his skin.

"YOU WEAK QUIRKED AND QUIRKLESS RANGERS ARE ALL THE SAME! NOT SEEING GREATNESS WHEN IT'S IN FRONT OF YOU!" He shouted, throwing a punch at the Ranger …

Only to recoil in pain when he pushed his shield forward and broke his hand.

"Yeah, and we're used to dealing with arrogant loud mouths such as yourself!" A light Ranger said as he zipped around the big lug, striking his legs with his sword to try and distract him.

"Heads up! ROCKET AWAY!" A female artillery Ranger called out as she used her Quirk to create an explosive round and fired it out of her rocket launcher that was on her back.

The round pushed the villain back onto more solid ground instead of him just being on the bridge of a railway.

Despite that, the villain sadistically grinned at them.

"You think that is enough to stop me? I WAS GIVEN THE QUIRK OF A GOD! I CANNOT BE DEFEATED EXCEPT BY GOD HEROES!" He roared arrogantly, spreading out his arms in a dramatic fashion as if to allow then free shots …

Only to suddenly feel two swords stab him in the back near his shoulder blades.

"AARRRGGHH! WHO DARES! AND WHY WON'T MY ARMS MOVE DOWN!?" He shouted as he tried to maneuver his arms to get at the toothpicks that were in him.

"That's because where we stabbed you it is blocking the tracks for your shoulders to move down! Until we pull them out, your arms are stuck here!" A voice called out behind his left shoulder, as the Rangers at smiled at the voice they heard.

"RYU-SAN!" The 16-year-old poked his head over the shoulder he was stabbing, though they saw he had a hazard mask on.

"Good to see you, Zeta Squad! But now is not the time for niceties! We got a job in front of us!" He called out as the Lead Ranger and the Agile Ranger quickly ran to behind the Villain and stabbed their swords into his upper legs, screwing with his ability to walk.

"RAGH! CURSE YOU BASTARDS!" He cried as he now looked to be doing some ridiculous robot dance with how he could only move his legs via a shuffle, and his arms couldn't go around to his back.

The two female Rangers were getting ready for a knockout run …

When some techno music suddenly started playing, as everyone stopped, including the villain at what was going on.

As the techno music went a little too well with the "DANCE" he was forced to do right now.

Ryu checked his fellow Rangers and the music wasn't coming from them.

"Um, whoever's playing that music, could you please stop? It's getting awkward here." Ryu's shoulder partner called out as the music stopped.

"sorry! that was my ringtone!" A shout came from the crowd as the Villain looked embarrassed as he saw many people had been recording his fight with the Rangers.

"Great. Now I'm going to become a ridiculous meme now." The Villain groaned at the inevitable jokes that were going to rise from this.

"Like you weren't already, D-Class." A voice from his right shoulder said, as the fight resumed.

The two females were ready.

The first one charged at the Villain, running up his body while slashing him relentlessly, getting him more and more angered while the Artillery female Ranger got a new round loaded and fired it.

The villain stumbled backwards, disoriented from the assault.

The Rangers were getting ready for another attack when Ryu and his partner looked over and went pale underneath the hazard armor.

"SCATTER!" Quickly looking to see why, the Rangers didn't hesitate to get their weapons out of the villain and run in separate directions.

The villain only had 5 seconds to revel at being able to move his body again …

Before he got flattened by the purple boot of a massive woman, who then bent over and presented her rear to the assembled audience.

"Good day! I am Mt. Lady, and this is my debut boys and girls!" The Hero called out as she seductively winked at the folks, who were very preoccupied with getting pictures.

"Money shot." A lot of … weirdos said as they took pictures of her rear.

She chuckled hearing that and turned to the Rangers.

"Nice attempt but it clearly took a beauty like me to save the day!" Mt. Lady said, expecting the male members to be entranced by her …

Only to realize they were not turned on and that they looked disgusted, the same way that their female team members were.

"Grow some dignity, 'HERO' otherwise, you're going to get the kind of attention you REALLY don't want." The Lead Ranger told her as they turned to leave.

"Seriously, while we appreciate the help, taking ALL the credit is unbecoming of a hero. Get a brain." The Agile Female Ranger told her, which really ticked her off.

"I'LL HAVE YOU RANGERS KNOW MY D-RATIO IS 1/64! I AM TECHNICALLY YOUR SUPERIOR!" The Heavy Ranger just turned around shaking his head.

"You ain't a part of our organization, lady! We don't take orders from anyone other than Captain Zeno!" He told her as his female counterpart turned to the High D.

"My D-Ratio is also 1/64! If anything, I outrank YOU here since I've been doing this for longer than you have! So, piss off, 'HERO' or you'll be hearing from our captain!" She said, as Mt. Lady looked like she was about to blow a gasket.

"I'll show YOU, with the superior Quirk and-"

"SMAAAAASSSHHHHH!"

Mt. Lady was shut up by the arrival of another Hero, who decked her across the face and sent her flying, causing her to shrink back to regular size and lose 3 teeth.

When she pushed herself up, she lost all fight in her when she saw the angry glare of All Might.

"Would you kindly EXPLAIN why you are taking away the credit of the Rangers and making yourself a sex icon?" Mt. Lady gulped, clearly terrified of who she had to talk to now.

10 years ago, All Might was the shining beacon of what a Hero should be, and was respectful to most heroes as well as Rangers, regardless of D-Ratio.

However, one day, he changed. He began to punish any high rank Ds or those who bragged about their quirk.

He got a reputation for asking why he should save anyone who's D-Ratio was above 1024.

Oftentimes, they try to bribe him with money or power, and then he just walks away.

So right now, Mt. Lady was terrified of what was going to happen.

"THEY FIGHT MULTIPLE GENICS A DAY, THE TWO IN THE SUITS HAVE TO GO INTO RADIOACTIVE AREAS TO TAKE OUT STRONGER ONES! EITHER YOU SHOW THEM RESPECT, OR YOU DEAL WITH ME!" Scared out of her wits, Mt. Lady nodded and didn't push her luck.

The Agile Ranger then walked up.

"Glad to know we got a supporter in ya, All Might. But we do prefer not to have to mingle with you guys, given what MOST Heroes view us as." All Might turned sadly to the Ranger.

"Yes, but I'll be damned if I don't help. I'll take this villain to lock up and then teach this girl some manners. Good luck with your assignments." With that, All Might picked up the knocked-out form of the villain, and then glared at Mt. Lady before he leapt away.

Ryu noticed his partner was speeding up his walk and sighed.

His brother had missed his opportunity to talk to his old man again.

And this was a galaxy sized joke even he was getting sick of.

"Let us get out of here men, and report to Captain Zeno. Before me and Aibo start registering as a biohazard." The lower ranked Rangers saluted and headed off with them.

All the civilians could do was watch the exchange and wonder what the deal was.

SURE, YOU COULD HAVE A QUIRK THAT GIVES YOU THE ABILITY TO SCREW THEM OVER, BUT IF THEY ARE OF A HIGHER D-RATIO, CHANCES ARE THEY'LL ARREST YOU FOR THAT.

THEN THERE ARE THOSE POOR SMUPS.

ONES WHO ARE GIVEN A LOW D-RATIO AND NO QUIRK.

THAT'S THE RUT I HAD GOTTEN HIT WITH.

1/8192 IS HIGH ENOUGH TO BE CONSIDERED HUMAN, BUT BARELY.

DOESN'T MATTER TO MOST, THOUGH.

"Heads up! Ryu and Midoriya coming in!" A Ranger called out as Ryu and his Brother went into the special entrance for ones who wore Hazard Armor.

Oftentimes, the armor needs to be cleaned before the person inside it can come out safely.

As they walked through the equivalent of a human car wash, they went through a tunnel that began to shed the armor while putting it away.

What emerged out of the tunnel were two males, Ryu, who wore the standard issue red and black Ranger outfit, and his brother, Izuku Midoriya, who wore a green version of the same outfit that Ryu wore.

Zeta Squad was standing to attention when they emerged, as Ryu and Izuku looked at them.

"At ease, you five." Ryu simply stated as the squad eased up.

"Was everything all right? You 5 should have been able to take down that Villain in no time." Izuku stated as the Heavy Artillery Female Ranger walked up with unease in her eyes.

"Apologies. We had been in a fight with a Duke Lord when that Villain attacked." She replied as Izuku nodded.

"So, you didn't have the special Chrysm rounds that you can produce, Momo?" She nodded as the Agile Ranger walked up.

(A/N: THIS MOMO IS NOT THE MOMO FROM MHA. THAT MOMO IS SEPARATE FROM THIS ONE. THIS ONE IS BASED OFF THE BREATH OF FIRE 3 MOMO.)

"We also got tied up fighting some of the shape shifter Genics that look like boxes. Damn things take physical blows like nothing." He reported as Ryu sighed.

"Annoying but understandable that you weren't at your best when you fought it, Karn." He said as the team then stood at attention.

"Get to the med station, get checked up. Especially you, Momo. Those Chrysm rounds you can make in your body need a lot of minerals to make and you have to EAT them." The squad saluted and headed off.

Ryu looked at Izuku in concern.

"IS everything alright?" Midoriya just looked uncertain.

"Again. It happened again where I was right next to him and the Heroes and Villains botched it." Ryu patted his shoulder in understanding.

"Well, you also did have a mask, so he probably wouldn't recognize you anyway." Izuku looked at him with an annoyed face.

"And I shouldn't wear one when dealing with a phosphate Genic? Or afterwards when I've gotten swallowed by one?" Ryu just smirked.

"Ah, it'll be useful for a night light."

"Not happening. Let's just get to the Captain, she apparently has something to tell us." Izuku told him as Ryu stopped smirking and got back into serious mode.

RYU HAS BEEN WITH ME EVER SINCE I GOT THROWN DOWN HERE.

THE HEAD RANGER OF SHELDAR, RYU'S LOW D-RATIO ALWAYS SURPRISES PEOPLE WHEN THEY SEE HIM IN ACTION.

HE HAS NEVER SHOWN FEAR AT ALL IN THE FACE OF DANGER, ONLY PEOPLE WHO NEED HELP.

HE ALSO IS VERY HUMBLE AND ALWAYS GIVES CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE.

HE HAS BEEN KNOWN TO DISOBEY ORDERS SEVERAL TIMES, BUT THE CAPTAIN DOESN'T SEEM TO MIND IT.

I'VE ALWAYS REFERED TO HIM AS ANIKI AS HE HAS ALWAYS TREATED ME AS HIS LITTLE BROTHER.

COURSE, HIM BEING TWO YEARS OLDER AND HAVING BEEN THE CAPTAIN'S PERSONAL STUDENT TWO YEARS LONGER THAN ME HELPS.

THOUGH, HE HAS LIGHTENED UP EVER SINCE I JOINED.

In front of them was a woman with white hair and pointy ears, with a more formal version of the female Ranger uniform.

"At ease." She ordered, as they dropped the salute, and she turned around to look at them.

Her face was very stern looking, but her blue eyes from behind her glasses showed a bit of restraint.

CAPTAIN VIOLET ZENO IS THE HIGHEST RANKED RANGER IN SHELDAR AND MUSUTAFU.

THOUGH SHE ALSO IS A CHAIRWOMAN OF THE RANGERS AS WELL, MOST NEW ONES TEND TO LOOK DOWN ON HER DUE TO HER HAVING A LOWER D-RATIO THAN THEM.

AS WELL AS A MISCONCEPTION THAT SHE IS QUIRKLESS.

IN ACTUALITY, CAPTAIN DOES INDEED HAVE A QUIRK, SHE JUST DOESN'T USE IT IN COMBAT.

THAT MUCH.

VIOLET STARE ALLOWS ANYONE WITHIN HER SIGHT TO START BLABBING OUT THE TRUTH, GENICS OR HUMANS ALIKE.

IT ALSO ALLOWS HER TO SEE THE VEINS AND HEARTRATE OF A SINGLE PERSON IN HER GAZE.

EVEN IF IT'S A PILE OF SLUDGE.

THE DRAWBACK IS THAT SHE OFTEN GETS SEVER TUNNEL VISION TO WHERE IF SHE HAS IT ACTIVE FOR TOO LONG, SHE CAN'T SEE WHERE SHE'S WALKING.

HENCE WHY SHE CONSTANTLY ADJUSTS HER GLASSES AS THEY ARE SPECIAL TO MAKE IT WHERE HER QUIRK ISN'T ACCIDENTALLY ON OVERDRIVE.

SHE'LL DO WHAT IS NEEDED TO BE DONE TO KEEP PEOPLE SAFE, EVEN IF THAT INCLUDES BREAKING A FEW RULES THAT SAY WE AREN'T SUPPOSED TO DO ANYTHING AT ALL.

SHE ALSO TENDS TO GET HER POINT ACROSS TO THE NEW CHAIRPEOPLE WHEN THEY TRY TO CHALLENGE HER TO A DUEL TO TAKE HER PLACE IN SHELDAR AND MUSUTAFU.

SHE DIDN'T EARN THE NICKNAME VIOLET DEATH FOR NOTHING.

SHE HAS BEEN MY AND RYU'S MENTOR EVER SINCE SHE FOUND ME IN THE TRASH PILE 10 YEARS AGO.

"Debrief before we get to the reason, I asked you to come here after your mission was done." She told them as Ryu, being the technical superior officer to Izuku, began.

"Well, we arrived at the station to get the hazard armor so we could go in and take care of the phosphorus Genic that was reported. And some idiots tried to give us the wrong armor." Ryu reported as Zeno then tapped on her tablet.

"D-Ratios?"

"1/1024 and 1/256, ma'am." Zeno groaned and then tapped on her tablet more.

"I'll make sure to visit them later today. How did it go once you got the right armor?" She asked, as she looked to Izuku for answers.

"The moment we got the right armor and got it put on, the Genic then broke through the barrier and we engaged it. Gonna have a high bill on sword materials, I'm afraid, as it melted the outer structure of my blades before I was able to cut off its wings." Izuku reported as Zeno again nodded and tapped on her tablet.

"I'll make sure you get the materials you need, Midoriya. Now then, given how Izuku said it had wings, I'm assuming it was a mutation of a Bat Genic, Ryu?" Ryu nodded as he continued the story.

"Indeed. Izuku had cut the wings as it flew into a more irradiated area of the base, thankfully it landed in liquid nitrogen which cooled it off to where we could slash it apart." Zeno nodded as she then turned back to Izuku.

"So why did you have to get the armor off here instead of the base?" Izuku let a growl escape, as Zeno then rubbed her temples.

"WE DON'T WANT LOW DS HERE STINKING UP OUR BASE AND THOSE ARMORS ARE NOW WORTHLESS BECAUSE YOU LOW DS USED THEM?" Zeno said in a faux macho voice as Izuku nodded.

"Description?" She asked as Izuku brought out his Ranger issued smartphone and swiped something over to her tablet.

Zeno looked at it for a bit and nodded.

"They are added to the list. So, with Zeta Squad." She said as she turned to Ryu again.

"We were taking a bit of a longer way around to try and avoid civilians since we didn't know if we were registering anything. We got to the underside of the bridge when we saw what was happening." Zeno nodded and then brought up the videos of the fight.

"Any concerns?" Izuku was the first to raise his hand, as Zeno nodded at him to explain.

"We might need to look for alternatives for Momo to make her rounds. Having to digest minerals is giving her serious stomach issues." Zeno then flicked something into a hologram as they looked at it.

"Indeed. And we can't have our friends keel over in the middle of a battle. Karn needs to work on his stamina from what I'm seeing if he couldn't run up the villain after taking on a Duke Lord." Zeno replied as they then saw the Heavy Ranger.

"Rand needs to get better equipment, that shield was barely able to cover him and have his Quirk activated." Ryu said as Zeno then tapped out a list of materials.

"And Ursula?"

"Ursula basically needs to work on being able to swap between her sword's blade form and gun form without having to stop what she's doing. It could get costly in the battlefield." Ryu told her as she then looked up possible ways to speed up the transformation.

"And what about Bo? I noticed he was trying to hide his Mutant Quirk." Zeno said as they saw the face and hood fall off the Lead Ranger, revealing he had a wolf-like head.

"That area of Musutafu is far less welcoming to Wolf Mutant Quirks for some reason. I haven't been able to get a straight answer, I'm afraid." Izuku reported as she then made a note about talking to the townsfolk later.

"Now then, Izuku, how is your middle school going?" Zeno asked, as Izuku then uncomfortably shifted.

"What happened?"

"Did we lose power here at 10 AM sharp?" Zeno then scrolled her tablet to alerts and saw that, indeed, their base lost power for an hour at that time.

"What happened?" Izuku rubbed his head, and Zeno then had a feeling she knew.

"What strike was this? The second?" Izuku nodded.

"I'll let his sister know. She's getting tired of him pulling this stuff." Izuku then stood up straight again.

"Besides that, I am starting to partially flag, but that's because the Genic attacks are interfering with my schoolwork." Zeno nodded and then opened an app for time schedules.

"Well, you and Ryu will be getting one week off, so I am sure you'll be able to get yourself caught up easily within that time." Izuku then smirked.

"One week? That generous? I'm sure I could do it in half an hour." Instead of looking annoyed, Zeno smirked at him with Ryu joining in.

"Don't worry, next time you'll only be given 20 minutes to catch up."

"Nah, ten minutes."

"Ten minutes? Finally, a worthy opponent!" Izuku joined in with the joking before they quickly reigned it in.

"Alright. Now then, with all that out of the way, the reason I asked you here." Ryu and Izuku stood to attention as Zeno walked back to her desk.

"We have a new recruit joining us today. She should be arriving within a few minutes. I expect you two to treat her with respect, though given your track records, that probably didn't need to be said." She told them as she began to transfer some files to their phones.

"Forgive me for saying this, Captain, but why tell us personally and have her arrive a few minutes after this?" Zeno adjusted her glasses as she put her tablet on her desk.

"The reasons she has joined the Rangers reminds me a lot of you two. Not to flaunt her power, or to get money, though that part is a minimum debate. She's more trying to get better before things get harder for her." She told them, before her intercom went off on her desk.

"The new girl is here, Captain Zeno. Do I need to wait for the other two to leave?" Zeno then looked at them, as they shook their heads.

"No need. It's actually good she arrived now, so she can meet her new teammates. Send her in." Zeno told the one at the door.

"Yes, Ma'am. Though I'll be surprised if something happens." He replied as Ryu and Izuku stood to attention as the door opened.

Stepping into the room was a girl about Izuku's age, she had permanent blush marks on her cheeks, shoulder length brown hair done up in a bobcut, a curvy figure, and auburn eyes.

She was wearing a pink version of the female Ranger outfit, which consisted of a pink long sleeve shirt, with pink and black pants that had the shins covered up by her boots, which were black with pink outlines and a pink bottom with heels, and a jacket that was pink with black outlines around it, showing the familiar 4-star insignia of the Rangers on her back.

She was looking rather nervous and uncomfortable …

Both being in the office and like her uniform was too tight.

"G-good day. I am Ochako Uraraka 1/256. I believe you wanted to see me?" She said in a high-pitched voice that made her sound partially adorable.

Ryu then quickly looked over at Izuku, who seemed to be staring.

Well, at least if you knew him as long as Ryu did.

Ryu quickly elbowed Izuku in the head which got him back in the game.

"Nice to meet you, Izuku Midoriya 1/8192. I'll be your immediate superior while Ryu is my superior." He began as Ryu nodded at her.

"Yes sir! I will do my best! Let's get along!" She said as she walked closer to Izuku and held out her hand …

Only to realize that Izuku was nervously shuffling about and trying to get away from her.

"Um, did … did I do something wrong?" She asked as Ryu then stepped in between them.

"He gets awkward around girls as he had no one but his sister growing up and most look down on him due to being Quirkless and his 1/8192 rating." He explained as Zeno then made a motion for Uraraka to step back a bit.

"Oh my! I'm sorry! I promise you I am not like them!" She said as Izuku stopped shaking and shook his head.

"Not your fault, and the longer we work together, the less I get affected by that." He explained to her as she nodded in understanding.

"Understood! I will do my best!" Izuku nodded and then decided to ask the loaded question.

"So, what's your Quirk?" He asked as Ochako began to look around, then touched her phone.

A pink glow surrounded it as it began to float in the air.

Then she brought her hands back together and the phone stopped floating.

"My Quirk is Zero Gravity. Anything I touch with the finger pads on my hands starts floating. I can control the trajectory and velocity of the object." She then seemed to get nauseous suddenly.

"However, if I do it for too long or to too heavy of an object, I start to lose my lunch. And it seems my suit's too tight to allow my body the breathing room it needs." Izuku then looked to Ryu and nodded to Ochako.

Ryu walked over and then grabbed her right wrist showing the same watch device he, Zeno and Izuku had.

"Am I right to assume that a blonde hair guy with a green outfit had told you we were out of suits your size and all we had was one that was one size too small?" Ochako looked shocked.

"Yes! I'm sorry, but I didn't want to be a bother and keep the captain waiting for a week before it arrived!" She explained as Zeno then hit her com device.

"Please have Bosch come to my office. In chains, knocked out, or just having a mild concussion, I care not right now."

"Did he pull the wrong size thing again?"

"Yes. It's the fifth time so I am going to have to discipline him PERSONALLY."

"I have gotten everyone to the safety line, ma'am. And Beta Squad has found him and are dragging him here now."

"Thank you. Then get everyone to the briefing room for the next shifts." Zeno said as she cut the coms.

Ryu had been helping Ochako get used to what actually was going on.

"Now, here is where you get to your suit size. Just twist the dial to your size and it will reshape your suit to it." Ochako twisted it to the left as she then was able to breathe easier and didn't look as nauseous as she was after she showed off her Quirk.

"Arigatou, Ryu-senpai! I will make sure that I bring honor to our team!" Ryu just chuckled as they then heard shouting outside the door.

"Sounds like they got the moron." The door opened and an Ox mutation Quirk person shoved the perpetrator in.

"Of course it would be YOU, Izuku!" Izuku just turned in annoyance to the person.

"You're still acting like THIS, Bosch? Even after 6 years of us not seeing each other until your dad pulled some things to get you in here!?" Izuku asked in disgust as Bosch just looked at him annoyed.

HE OFTEN TRIES TO DO THINGS ON HIS OWN AS HE FEELS THAT HE IS ENOUGH TO GET IT DONE.

OFTEN HAS TO BE BROW BEATEN BY ZENO TO GET THROUGH HIS THICK HEAD.

AND YES, EVEN I GET A KICK OUT OF SEEING BOSCH GET PUT IN HIS PLACE SINCE I AM A HIGHER RANK RANGER THAN HE IS DESPITE OUR D-RATIOS.

EVEN THEN, WHEN HE ISN'T BEING AN ABSOLUTE D BAG, HE IS A VERY CAPABLE PERSON.

HIS QUIRK, BEAST ENERGY, ALLOWS HIM TO CHANNEL DIFFERENT ANIMAL SPIRITS INTO HIS CUSTOM-BUILT BLADE, THE BEAST BLADE.

IF HE CHARGES IT WITH SNAKE ENERGY, HE CAN POISON WHATEVER HE HITS, WHILE CHANNELING LION ENERGY ALLOWS HIM TO STRIKE HARDER AND BRING AN ENEMY'S DEFENSE DOWN.

IF HE EVER LEARNED HUMILITY, HE COULD BE ONE OF THE BEST RANGERS ALREADY.

FOR NOW, ALL WE CAN HOPE FOR IS HIM TO LEARN TO SHUT HIS DAMN MOUTH UP.

Bosch stood up as he glared at Izuku before turning to Zeno.

"Now look Captain, I was just funning on the new recruit. Being a 1/64, I had to show her how things were around here." He said with a shrug.

Zeno looked at him as her lips curled.

She then took off her glasses and turned her eyes violet.

"What was the real reason you pulled this stunt?" Bosch tried to keep his mouth shut.

But then he began to spill his Guts.

"I DIDN'T WANT RYU AND IZUKU TO GET A TEAMMATE LIKE HER. THEY SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN ANOTHER 1/8192 TEAMMATE WHILE THE ZERO GRAVITY QUIRK USER WENT TO ME. SO I COULD BECOME A REGENT."

Zeno put her glasses back on as her eyes returned to normal as Bosch began to gasp and looked up in anger at her.

"Izuku, Ryu. Take Uraraka and get everyone ready for the next shifts. Dismissed!" They both saluted, and then led Uraraka out of the room, as Zeno then put down her tablet and drew her twin blades.

(15 MINUTES LATER!)

Izuku and Ryu had gotten everyone to the mission briefing room after they escaped a level 3 Zenonado.

Everyone was waiting patiently until Bosch stumbled in and took his lone seat as Zeno walked in.

"Alright everyone, it's the half day and it's time for the shifts and we got three items on the docket." Zeno then took on a stern look.

"But first …" everyone gulped, not sure what was about to be said.

"We need to acknowledge the Quirkless wonder in the room." She said, as everyone began to shake.

"IZUKU!" Everyone gasped and looked at Izuku, who took on a horrified look while Bosch smirked, thinking he had finally messed up.

Zeno continued to stare at him with a stern look …

Before immediately flipping into a happy smile.

"Happy birthday, my student."

Immediately, Bosch groaned as everyone began to noogie Izuku's head and congratulate him on his 15th birthday.

"Nice, Izuku-kun! Congratu-oh, OH BOY!" Ochako said as some of the Rangers began to body tackle Izuku in congratulations, causing her to recoil in fear.

"Enough celebrating that, this idiot took away the time for it." Zeno said as everyone zipped back to their seats and growled at Bosch.

"Now then, on to list one. Alongside Izuku's birthday, we have a new recruit joining him and Ryu. Ochako Uraraka 1/256." Everyone turned to her and quickly welcomed her.

"Now that the greetings are out of the way, Izuku, Ryu and Ochako will be heading to Lift Bay 75. We have gotten some reports of several Genics gathering there, and that place is usually good for beginners." Zeno began as Ochako nodded, with Ryu making a salute and Izuku giving a thumbs-up.

"Once this is over, head straight there and teach Ochako the basics. Everyone else, make sure you welcome her and help her out. Unlike Mr. Elite here." She said as Bosch shook as all eyes were glaring into the back of his head.

"Second item. Izuku is going to be taking a week off from Ranger duties unless necessary to catch up on his schoolwork and school life. As such, Ryu and Ochako will be getting one as well, so we'll have to hold down the hatch until he gets back." Everyone saluted and then growled at Bosch when he tried to do something arrogant.

"Third and final thing, this is for Zeta Squad." Zeta Squad stood to attention.

"The association needs your quotes on what happened with that villain. Also start working on the list just sent to your phones so that you can work on your Quirks and weapons." They saluted.

"Then head straight for Airport Musheld. We've gotten reports of a strange energy reading there. A Hero we like, Eraserhead, is heading there as well." Everyone breathed a sigh of relief at that.

"He's heading there as we speak so head straight there once you get checked up and don't worry, Bo. He doesn't care about Mutation Quirks." Bo nodded as Zeno then stood tall.

"Meanwhile, I will be doing several checkups from what Izuku and Ryu have told me. Questions?" Only one hand went up and it was Ochako's.

"Um, I haven't gotten any swords or anything on me. I was told by him that it would be provided to me. Was this another joke of his?" Zeno shook her head.

"Negative and I did forget to mention that you will be needing to go through this mission first so we can figure out good equipment for you. Any other questions?" No one made a motion.

"Then get to the mission locations and get those patrol routes PRONTO." With that, everybody cleared out of the room.

Bosch stood back, glaring at Zeno, who just ignored him.

"Don't even THINK about it, Bosch."

Bosch growled as Zeno left.

Izuku, Ryu and Ochako soon arrived at the Lift Bay, which had been evacuated of civilians when the Genic alert went off.

"So, what's the plan, sir?" Ochako asked as Ryu drew his sword and shield, while Izuku pulled out twin blades.

"You'll be keeping an eye on where the Genics are, Ochako. Did you get that dagger we mentioned?" Ochako then drew a small dagger from her right hip and nodded.

"Use that to defend yourself, while me and Aniki go into the thick of it. You get up on top of the buildings and start calling them out." Izuku told her, as she then climbed the outer ladder of a building.

Izuku and Ryu then entered the danger zone as they kept their eyes peeled for any Genics.

"Testing. Am I coming in clear?" Ochako asked as they saw signs of a Nugget infestation.

"Yeah. Did you see any Genics up there?"

"I did. They seem like small black blobs; those are called the Nuggets, right?"

THERE ARE ALSO RUMORS OF A PAPA NUGGET, HOWEVER, BIOCORP DENIES THERE BEING ONE.

I DON'T BUY IT, SO I ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE OUT FOR AN EVEN BIGGER NUGGET THAN THE MAMA.

"Yeah. Did you see any big ones?" Izuku heard shuffling on the other side of the com unit, guessing she was making sure.

"Um, I'm not seeing any bigger Nuggets, but I'm seeing something that looks like an upright cow with a club in its hands. Is that worse?" Izuku and Ryu looked at each other in horror.

"A Deathcow!? In this sector!?" Ryu shouted in horror as they quickly ducked into a hiding spot as a beast that was very pale and matched the description Ochako had told them, with the Nuggets walking around it …

Before the thing pointed down an alley between the buildings and the Nuggets dispersed.

"This is new. Unless a Mama Nugget is around, Nuggets don't obey orders from anyone." Ryu said as the Nuggets came back and shook their heads.

DEATHCOW!

OH BOY, WHERE DO I BEGIN WITH HOW BAD NEWS THESE GUYS ARE?

THESE THINGS ARE VERY TOUGH, AND I DON'T JUST MEAN WHEN YOU GET THE MEAT FROM THESE GUYS.

THEIR SKIN HAS BEEN KNOWN TO WITHSTAND EVEN CAPTAIN ZENO'S BLADES, EVEN WHEN SHE USES HER SECRET TECHNIQUE.

THESE THINGS ALSO HAVE A TENDANCY TO CHARGE AT ANYTHING THAT JUST HAPPENS TO BE IN THE WAY.

IT'S NOT TOTAL BAD NEWS IF YOU GO AGAINST THESE THINGS WITH TWO RANGERS, BUT IT WILL BE A WHOLE LOT BETTER IF YOU HAVE 4 RANGERS.

WATCH OUT FOR THE CLUB THEY CARRY, THOSE THINGS KNOW EXACTLY HOW TO USE THEM, AND PROPERTY MANAGERS QUAKE IN FEAR WHEN ONE IS CALLED ON THE INTERCOMS IN THE AREA.

RECOMMENDED ASSAULT: HAVE TWO AGILE RANGERS DISTRACT THE THING WHILE TWO HEAVY HITTERS GET AT ITS BACK.

IT CAN'T TURN AROUND FAST ENOUGH TO BLOCK IT.

IF YOU HAVE SOMEONE WITH MAGIC, DON'T HESITATE TO HAVE THEM USE FIRE OR LIGHTENING, IT HURTS THEM BAD.

The Deathcow began sniffing the air, like it was searching for something.

"Plan of attack?" Izuku asked, as Ryu then saw some containers nearby.

"Ochako, you said that your Quirk was Zero Gravity, right?"

"Yes sir, but I think I can only lift three of those things before I get nauseous." Izuku and Ryu looked at each other and nodded.

"OK, we try and take these things alive to study. Izuku, Ochako, here's my idea …"

The Deathcow was getting very impatient with this search.

He was slightly more intelligent than his brethren, but he still loves smashing things.

He had seen an amazing fight between people calling themselves Rangers and a Villain, with much glorious destruction.

This LIFT Bay was often used by humans to transport materials over the water to different areas of the world.

All it had to do was get some weak Genics and then appear to get the weaklings panicked and they'd call them.

He was unfortunately stuck with Nuggets whom he tricked when he killed the Mama Nugget and now had the gland section strapped to his back, which tricked the little guys into obeying him.

So far, no Rangers have showed up.

He wasn't one for patience and was thinking about trying for the city when he heard it.

"YO! WELL DONE STEAK! OVER HERE!"

The Deathcow whirled around and saw two Rangers with their weapons drawn and smirking at it.

"Ya want a fight? Come get it!" They shouted as they ran.

It was too focused on chasing them to wonder why they ran instead of standing and fighting and too stupid to realize three containers that should have been in the area were mysteriously gone.

"You sure this will work, Ryu!?" Izuku called out in worry.

"If it doesn't knock them out or kill them, it should weaken them!" Ryu replied as they then stopped running.

The Deathcow and its posse arrived shortly after and menacingly stalked closer to them.

Closer and closer, with the thing breathing out dangerous smoke from its mouth as Ryu and Izuku activated a gas mask function of their suits.

"NOW, OCHAKO!" The Deathcow suddenly looked up and saw 3 cargo containers floating in the air as Ochako was trying to hold her lunch down.

"RELEASE!" She called out as the containers fell towards the ground.

The Deathcow growled and tried to run away …

Only for Ryu to kick it back into position as the containers crashed on top of it.

"Quickly! Detain the Nuggets!" Ryu ordered as Izuku zipped around the little guys and restrained them and making sure they didn't fire off any attacks.

"OK, that should have knocked out the Deathcow, now we just need to-" Ryu then had to dodge a bolt of lighting that was heading straight for him.

Looking where it came from, there was a smaller Deathcow glaring at them.

"Kami dammit, BEAK!" Ryu shouted as Izuku dodged a Fire attack from it.

WHILE IT MAY LOOK LIKE A SMALLER VERSION OF A DEATHCOW, DO NOT BE FOOLED!

IT'S EVEN MORE DANGEROUS THAN A DEATHCOW, AS IT HAS THE ABILITY TO SUMMON DIFFERENT ELEMENTS.

MOST ANNOYING IS ITS HOWLING ABILITY, YOU HEAR THAT, YOUR BODY BECOMES STUCK TO WHERE IT IS.

AND THEN IT STARTS USING ITS FAVORITE ICE ATTACKS TO PICK YOU OFF ONE BY ONE.

ASSAULT STRATEGY: SPREAD OUT AND TRY TO KEEP YOUR EARS COVERED WHEN IT USES HOWLING TO AVOID GETTING STUCK TO THE GROUND.

HOWLING'S ONE DRAWBACK IS THAT IT CAN'T TARGET MULTIPLE OPPONENTS IF THEY AREN'T NEXT TO EACH OTHER.

DYNAMITE AND BOMBS ARE USEFUL TO SHAVE IT DOWN BEFORE YOU STRIKE IT FOR THE KILL!

"SCATTER!" Izuku cried as Ochako leapt down to another building and clicked her wrist device to get something to cover her ears, with Ryu and Izuku doing the same.

The Beak sneered at them and then fired an Icicle attack, which just barely grazed past the two.

"OK, did anyone see what it was aiming at?" A sudden crash and having to dodge cargo containers soon provided the answer.

"DAMMIT, THE DEATHCOW IS FREE!" Ryu shouted as he was now desperately attempting to avoid being smashed Ryu from the thing swinging at him.

And then barely ducking a lance.

"For the love of- WHERE ARE THESE TOP GENICS COMING FROM!?" Ryu shouted as Izuku saw a red ogre looking creature in armor skulk out of the shadows and stood next to the Deathcow.

"DAMMIT! WHAT'S A DUKE LORD DOING HERE!"

FIRST OFF, UNLIKE MOST OTHER DUKE SPAWN, DUKE LORDS ARE THE TOUGHEST BREEDS OF DUKES TO FIGHT.

THE TRICK IS THAT YOU HAVE TO EITHER KILL OR KNOCK OUT THE DUKE LORD OR BATTLER WITHOUT DAMAGING IT TOO MUCH.

BUT IF YOU BREAK IT THE VALUE IS CUT IN HALF.

IF YOU ARE A HEAVY DEFENSE RANGER LIKE RAND, THE HEAVY ARMOR IS VERY GOOD FOR DEFENSE IF YOU DECIDE TO KEEP IT.

OTHERWISE, IT CAN BE SOLD FOR A HIGH PRICE AT AN ARMOR SHOP OR BROKEN DOWN FOR MATERIALS.

ASSAULT STRATEGY: NO FIRM STRATEGY RIGHT NOW. BEST IS TO ADAPT TO THE SITUATION, AND TRY TO FIRST PICK OFF THE BATTLER AND MAGE FIRST, THEN TRY GANGING UP ON THE DUKE LEADER.

"WHEVER A DUKE LORD GOES, THERE IS SURE TO BE-" Izuku quickly jumped as a Duke Battler charged underneath him, taking out the building wall behind him in the process.

Unfortunately, it happened to be the building Ochako was currently on top of, so when the wall came down, so did the building.

"MAGE!" Ryu shouted as Ochako barely ducked a Jolt attack aimed at her head.

"Some training mission this is turning out to be, if I may speak freely!" Ochako shouted, as she then rolled out of the spot she had been laying on when the Mage used a Fireblast spell.

"Trust me! This usually doesn't happen!" Izuku called out as he tried to make the Battler and Lord slam into each other.

This just tipped him off that all of these beasts were smarter than the others, as the Battler went to the left of the Lord and charged for Ochako.

Meanwhile, the Lord dodged to the left of the Battler and charged straight for Ryu.

Who was having the devil of a time trying to avoid both a Beak and a Deathcow aiming to plant and splat him.

Knowing that the boundaries of the mission were now up in smoke, Izuku activated his wrist devices SOS signal.

Hopefully, backup could arrive before they became smears on the bay.

Zeno was having quite a headache and eye strain.

No, she hadn't used her Quirk or was fighting a massive Genic or Villain.

She was taking on something far worse.

Paperwork.

"Seriously, Zeta Squad had given their reports, WHAT MAKES THE HERO ASSOCIATION THINK WE INTERFERED!?" She was getting tired of those High Ds trying to force her into different conditions or targeting her Rangers for false crimes.

She finished Zeta Squad's report as she then sighed at the next mountain of paperwork for Izuku.

On the one hand, she was proud that he hadn't let go of his childhood dream of being a Hero due to his circumstances.

On the flip side, it made for one headache of a mountain given his low D-Ratio.

And High Ds like Bosch really twisted the knife.

She was about to begin when she got an SOS signal alert.

"OK, who's calling for help now!?" She sighed as she looked at the alert and its nature.

Then her pupils shrunk.

Smashing her intercom, she quickly hailed the next best Squad that was helping in the Ranger Base.

"BETA SQUAD! IZUKU, RYU AND OCHAKO ARE CURRENTLY FIGHTING 5 GENICS ONE OF WHICH IS A DUKE LORD! GET YOUR EQUIPMENT AND GET READY TO MOVE OUT STAT!"

Someone else had picked up the distress signal.

He had been resting and letting his body heal up from the Villain attack earlier this morning.

And teaching Mt. Lady some manners.

He had been on his way home with a special dinner for that night when he saw some Rangers taking a recruit for training at the Lift Bay.

Smart call since this place tended to attract small fry like Nuggets or regular Dukes.

However, that changed when a Deathcow began to lead a small Nugget family around, then a Beak, Duke Lord, Duke Battler and Duke Mage showed up.

Those were not supposed to be within 1000 meters of this sector.

And they were using tactics that two seasoned Rangers and one Rookie Ranger couldn't overcome through teamwork alone.

Thankfully, he had three hours, and he doubted it would take long for backup to arrive.

As such, he began to bulk up.

"KEEP MOVING AND DON'T LET THAT THING'S HOWLING GET YOU!" Izuku shouted as he had the Mage sand Beak hit each other with Jolt's.

Unfortunately, one of the Jolts had hit the Nuggets, which powered them up and allowed them to break free.

"COME ON!" Ochako shouted as she began to dodge various little kicks alongside the Deathcow.

"JUST FOCUS ON SURVIVING! THIS IS NO LONGER A CLEANING MISSION!" Ryu shouted as he blocked the Battler's axe with his shield and tripped it onto the Duke Lord.

It confused the two until they figured out how to untie themselves from each other.

"DAMMIT these things are figuring us out!" Izuku shouted as he had Ochako behind him and in a position to run if need be.

"We can't just give up here, though!" Ochako yelled as Izuku and Ryu were looking for some chink, in ANYTHING, that could give them the advantage.

Suddenly, the Deathcow got slammed by a thrown container, while a massive crack in the ground trapped the Beak, and a sudden rush of air pushed the Nuggets away, while something smacked the heads of the Duke Lord and Battler together.

And then threw the Mage into another container.

"IT TAKES A LOT TO HOLD OUT WHEN THINGS GO BAD, IT CAN BECOME HOPELESS." A deep voice boomed out, as they looked around for it.

"BUT THAT IS WHY I RESPECT YOU RANGERS SO MUCH. A HERO IS ALWAYS EXPECTED, BUT CAN NOT ALWAYS COME. YOU HOLD THE LINE FOR AS LONG AS YOU CAN TO YOUR DYING BREATH." Suddenly, they saw a shadow appear on the ground as it grew smaller and smaller.

"BUT THAT IS NOT YOUR FATE TODAY! FOR TODAY, YOU HAVE HELD THE LINE WELL. EVEN WHEN THE OPPOSITION OUTRANKED YOU AND YOU HELD FIRM. YOU WILL NOT DIE TODAY! WHY?" The figure then landed in front of the three of them, sending wind and dirt flying.

The Genics had just gotten themselves reoriented from the blows and growled at the newcomer.

Ryu, Izuku and Ochako were shocked to see who had come to their aid.

Right in front of them, standing between the abnormal Genics and them …

"BECAUSE I AM HERE!"

Was All Might.

"OH MY GOSH! THE NUMBER ONE HERO HAS COME TO HELP US!" Ochako cried out in excitement, until she saw Izuku and Ryu stand beside him.

"No offense here, All Might, but we aren't just going to sit back and let you do all the work." Instead of looking angered or insulted, All Might gave a hearty laugh.

"AN EXCELLENT RESPONSE! LIKE I SAID, YOU RANGERS DESERVE SO MUCH MORE RESPECT THAN WE HEROES! BUT WHAT'S THE BATTLE PLAN?" He asked as the Beak and Mage came back and got spells ready.

"Try and figure out a way to take them down, or do it to where we can get backup." All Might nodded.

"INDEED. THESE THINGS ARE DEFINITELY NOT REGULAR GENICS. WE TRY TO TAKE THEM DOWN AND HOLD OUT. NO GRANDSTANDING!" All Might replied as Izuku held his twin sabers firmly in his hands, while Ryu held his sword and shield at the ready.

Ochako held back but held her knife at the ready.

"NOW LET'S SHOW THESE GENICS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE GO BEYOND …" All Might began as he waited for them to say it with him.

"PLUS ULTRA!" They all shouted as the Duke Lord and Battler did something to their armor where it was repaired, and the Beak and Mage began chanting.

The Deathcow charges in as the Nuggets were still unconscious from All Might's arrival.

All Might took on the Deathcow as they began to wrestle, slamming each other into various cargo containers.

The Beak and Mage finished chanting and sent 2 Jolt attacks at the three Rangers, who lured the Duke Lord and Battler to behind them as they then jumped out of the way and let the Dukes get hit by the attack.

Ryu then slammed his shield into the Duke Battler's face, causing him to stagger backwards, as Ochako then slapped him, causing him to float.

She waited until he was right over the Duke Lord, before putting her hands together.

"RELEASE!" Then, the Duke lord learned how heavy the Heavy Armor was as he got pinned by the Battler.

The Beak had gotten a Fireblast spell ready in the meantime, but Izuku kicked it in the face sending it right at the Mage, who barely dodged after he finished chanting an Ice attack.

That caused the Ice Crash to go wildly out of control, slamming into the Battler and flipping him off the Lord.

Meanwhile, the Fireblast spell hit the Deathcow in the back, burning the gland it was controlling the Nuggets with off as it fell to the ground.

The Nuggets then began to run around in a panic, realizing the Mama Nugget was dead, as they then began to attack the nearest things.

"OK, that should buy us some extra time. What now, All Might?" Izuku asked the Veteran Hero, who then noticed 5 people arriving.

"YOUR CAPTAIN HAS WAYS OF KNOCKING OUT OPPONENTS, RIGHT?" Izuku looked behind him and saw Zeno arriving with Beta Squad.

"Let me talk to her so that she knows the plan and can help us out!" All Might nodded and then knocked the Deathcow and Battler into each other.

"CAPTAIN ZENO!"

Beta Squad and Zeno had been on their way over to the site of the current attack.

Zeno had Ox, Rei, Cray, Katt, and Spar with her in order to help out her two stared pupils and their new recruit.

"Cray! Can't you speed this up!? We need to get to Ryu-Senpai before he's speared!" Katt yelled as she twitched in place, her cat tail and claws moving around her staff.

"COOL IT SIS! WE'RE ALL WORRIED FOR THEM! AND STOP CALLING RYU THAT!" Rei told her, as his sister growled at him.

"Besides, we're about 30 seconds out, and the alert had gone down to a yellow alert!" Cray reported as Zeno quickly checked.

"Captain, are we changing our strategy? And have they said why it has gone down?" Spar asked, their root body moving around as they prepared for a fight.

"Partially. We are still rushing to aid them, but a Hero had arrived." Ox raised an eyebrow at that.

"Really? They jumped in to help without insulting them?" He asked as Zeno nodded.

"It was All Might." THAT eased up some of the tension that had lingered in the air before Zeno adjusted her glasses again.

"So, while this is no longer a rescue mission, those abnormal Genics are still a danger. But now, with All Might's assistance, we should be able to figure out some way to capture the 5." The Rangers nodded as a light became green.

"We're approaching the Lift Bay now, Ma'am." Cray called out as he set the aircraft to landing mode.

"All right, we got a chance to get some armor, some Genics to study, and an evaluation of a new recruit. RANGERS, ARMOR UP!" With that cry, the Rangers tore out of the aircraft and engaged.

Cray immediately tackled the Deathcow, shoving him into an empty container, and began to pound it on the head, ripping the burnt gland off it and throwing it over to Ox, who quickly healed it, as it glowed and the Nuggets stopped fighting.

Spar then deployed several roots from their arms and tied the nuggets up and put them in the back of the transport.

Rei and Katt had managed to strike both sides of the Mage's skull and had him accidentally freeze the Beak, with All Might jumping out of the way.

Ox then shoved the head of the Battler into an electrical box, zapping it until it lost consciousness.

Izuku, Ryu, and Ochako had cornered the Duke Lord, who was growling at them.

"Well, what are ya waiting for?" Izuku challenged as the Duke Lord tried to skewer him with the lance …

Only then felt himself trapped in the air.

"Thank you, magnets." Ryu said as the Lord was trapped in a magnet crane, unable to move.

"Report." Zeno called out as she came out of the crane and checked the armor on the Lord.

"No deaths, Ma'am. Battler is unconscious, alongside the Mage, Beak, and Deathcow. We are currently restraining them with All Might's help." Zeno then noticed the complacent Nuggets looking out of the transport, waiting.

"Also, the Nuggets don't seem to be aggressive right now. Permission to take care of them?" Spar asked as they scratched one of the Nuggets.

"If you're able to tame them before they become Mama or Papa Nuggets, then yes. Call in 5 transport helicopters, gonna be a good while." Zeno said as the Lord then got stripped of his armor.

(15 MINUTES LATER!)

"HEY! BACK UP PALLY! RIGHT NOW, THIS PLACE IS A DANGER ZONE!" Bo shouted as several reporters were trying to get past the police line to interview All Might.

"Shut it, ya wolf trash!" One particular reporter insulted …

Before he got shoved by Rand.

"I WILL MAKE YOU EAT THAT CAMERA IF YOU INSULT MY BATTLE BROTHER AGAIN, PAL!" Rand shouted as the reporters slightly backed off.

"AND I WILL NOT STANDBY WHEN HE HAS SHOWN THE TRUE MARKINGS OG A HERO, SO WATCH IT!" All Might shouted as the reporters took the hint.

"Are these going to Bio Labs?" Ochako asked as the Duke Lord and Battler were tied down onto a platform.

"Negative. They are heading to the scientist wings of the Musutafu Ranger Base. They have better equipment for studying these abnormal Genics." Zeno said as the armor was airlifted back to the Sheldar base and the Genics minus the Nuggets who were following Spar like they were their Mamma Nugget.

"STILL, FANTASTIC WORK, RANGERS! TELL ME, WHERE DID YOU LEARN TO FIGHT LIKE THAT?"

Izuku and Ryu just shrugged.

"I was with the Rangers since I was 4, sir. So, this is basically our thing since childhood for some of us." All Might nodded as he then saw the Deathcow get pulled up by a cargo helicopter and flown away.

"WELL, I THINK YOU ALL CAN TAKE IT FROM HERE! ALL I DID WAS AID WHEN THEY GOT YOU ALL BY SURPRISE! IF THE HERO COMMITTEE TIRES ANYTHING, HERE IS MY NUMBER! I'LL GIVE THEM A GOOD TALKING TO! TILL THEN, RANGERS, GO BEYOND THE HEROES …" All Might then began to make several jumps as he grabbed a grocery bag.

"PLUS ULTRA!"

Everyone stared as the mighty hulk jumped away and seemed to vanish, as Izuku sighed.

"Guess he would forget my face after all this time." Izuku sighed as Ryu patted his shoulder.

"You do know you still have your mask on, right, Otōto?"

Thankfully the mask had a built-in censor as Izuku began to cuss up a storm at having forgotten to do that.

Once he had gotten out of sight, All Might left his muscle form and arrived back home.

Thankfully, the pork and noodles were still good, as he entered.

"Hello, Toshi. I saw what happened on the news. How did it go with the Rangers?" His wife asked as he set the food down on the counter.

"Some of the best this place has to offer. Now if only High Ds would shut up, Inko." He replied as Inko grabbed the food.

Toshi then looked back at the family shrine, where their daughter was praying.

"I would be concerned, if it wasn't the tenth-year anniversary of this." Inko held his hand as they looked at the picture in the center of the shrine along with an old book that had some designs that Inko and him had made.

In the ten years since he was thrown out by Vexacion, they had moved to Musutafu to hopefully find some hint as to where he had landed.

All they found 3 years later was the tattered 4-year-old clothing they had given him that faithful day.

They still held out some hope that he was alive, but there hadn't been much headway.

Inko had lost her drive and had put on some weight. She was still fit, but she definitely hadn't done any hero work for years.

Their daughter?

"Izumi, it's dinner time. It's your and his favorite, Katsudon Noodles." Inko told her, as she then handed her a bowl.

Izumi, without even moving her head, sectioned off half the noodles and placed that half in front of the altar.

And bowed her head.

"I promise, brother, your dream will not have been for nothing. And I will make sure that it comes true one way or another." With that, she took her noodles and went back to her room.

Inko stared back at the photo as she began to cry.

"How could I have let Izuku go without protection? What kind of a mother am i?" She blubbered out as Toshi held her in what was left of his chest.

Toshi himself stared at the photo, the last reminder of their son.

"I promise, Izuku, no low D will go through what you did. Not if I have anything to say about it."

Izuku and Ryu had brought Ochako to their apartment as she would be living with them for the foreseeable future.

"Huh, this actually has a lot more space than my parents house." Ochako replied, as she then saw a blank room.

"Well, this is rather HIGH END for low Ds like me and Ryu." Izuku replied, as he turned on a shower to check the water …

Only for brown sludge to come out of the faucet and leave a mess in the shower.

"Scuse me." He said as he picked up the phone.

"Captain Zeno speaking." The voice on the other side of the line said, as Izuku tapped the microphone receiver three times.

"Absolute cheap skate." She was heard growling as a building nearby suddenly rocked back and forth as the sludge turned into water.

"I guess that was a high D who was in charge of the water?" Ryu sighed as he slumped into an old looking couch.

"More he tries to hog it and pass it off as us not using it, so Zeno often has to send someone in to straighten him out." Ochako nodded at that as a silver suitcase then came out of the floor.

"Ah good! My regular clothes have arrived!" She said happily as she went into the room that was clearly empty.

"You want to shower first, Aniki, or do you want to get the cookware ready?" Izuku asked as Ryu then turned on the TV and a Tokusatsu show began to play.

"I'll make sure the stuff is ready." Izuku made a motion with his hand as he went into the bathroom and took a shower.

Ryu then checked the date and got out the pork and noodles for his little brother's favorite dish.

Ochako then came out with a pink t-shirt and blue shorts as she saw Ryu without his jacket on and having gotten out several pots and pans along with some spices out as he watched the titular Toku Hero perform some kind of kick on the bad guy and blow him up.

"Didn't think you would be into this kind of show, Ryu-sen-."

"Please don't call me that. A Ranger named Katt will not stop calling me that despite us not being on the same team." Ochako waved her hands in apology as she then sat on the couch.

"And I tend to just watch it when I am too tired to actually train or fight. I do have merchandise, but not that much. Wouldn't have anything anyway since the pay grade of a Ranger, even one of our statuses, isn't that much." Ochako then looked in surprise at that.

"Wow, and I thought my family had it bad when my mom and dad both had D-Ratios of 1/4096 each." Ryu quirked an eyebrow at that.

"You're D-Ratio?" Ochako then jumped when she realized what she had just said.

"Oh, I wasn't making that up! My D-Ratio is higher than my parents. Yet, when they offered me to leave them behind, I just felt like … if I did that, I would be giving up my humanity." Ochako told him as Ryu chuckled.

"Oh, I know you weren't lying, Ochako. But given how old you are, am I right to assume they kept offering?" Ochako nodded.

"Well, you will probably have my little brother's respect for that. As you saw with Bosch and how badly we both get treated despite being the highest ranked Rangers, high Ds really don't want anything to do with us." Ochako then looked at a calendar and noticed that today was scribbled with the words 'anniversary' on it.

"Oh, does Izuku-kun have some sort of date?" Ryu then began to laugh.

"Sorry, sorry! That, that was just too funny. No, the anniversary is that today is the day me and Zeno-sama found Izuku in the trash sector." Ochako looked shocked as Izuku got out of the shower …

"I see you just about settled in, Ochako. You want next shower dibs, Ryu?"

And she got a good look at Izuku's body without a shirt.

Let's just say that she quickly turned beet red and looked at the TV, not wanting to stare as Ryu then zipped into the shower.

"Yeah, yeah. Very funny, Aniki." Izuku said as he then caught a glimpse into Ochako's room before he headed into the kitchen space.

"So, I heard you asking about the Anniversary date?" He asked as Ochako nodded, trying not to look at Izuku in the black reflection of the television.

"Well, I had a reverse happen to me. My parents D-Ratios were 1/16 and 1/32." That finally got Ochako to spin her head around at him.

"Wait, if your parents were that high, did they literally throw you out for your low ratio!?"

*CRACK! *

Ochako flinched a bit as she noticed that Izuku had chopped a piece of Pork hard enough to embed the meat cleaver into the chopping board.

"NO, it was our neighbors, Vexacion and …" He then stared off like he really didn't want to say the name.

"Bosch."

"Wait, that jerk who tricked me with my uniform!?" Izuku nodded.

"The week before, I was diagnosed as Quirkless and those two began to snob me, only my family usually were within shouting distance and when they heard, they descended on them like a pack of wolves." He then put the noodles into the pot.

"Then, the day my sister and I's D-Ratio test came. Mom had asked me to head to the store to get pork for Katsudon Noodles, our favorite. On my way back home, they got the jump on me, covered my mouth, and sent me down the trash." Ochako by this point had gotten off the couch and walked over to Izuku.

"That was the last I ever saw of my family, I don't know if they had agreed and just forgot … forgot …" Tears welled up in his eyes, as the memories of coming close to his father, only to have either himself having his face covered or some random high D block him was enough to bring the pain back as his hand trembled on the handle.

"Every time I see him doing heroics, I cannot tell if he actually just does this because of me. He no longer rescues anyone over 1/2046." Izuku clutched the handle tighter to where his knuckles became white.

Then, he felt a hand grab his, as he saw Ochako holding it.

"You helped me out at the lift bay, Izuku. I am not going to leave until something forces me to." Izuku stared at her.

Most would just mock him and tell him to be realistic.

Ochako …

Well, Izuku lost focus on dinner for a bit as he looked at her smiling face.

"You two practicing a secret handshake or something?" A smugger version of Ryu's voice broke them out as Ochako jumped back and Izuku quickly finished prep work.

Ryu just smirked as Izuku finished dinner.

He was going to enjoy messing with his little brother.

Soon, they were heading to their rooms for bed as Ryu had already turned in for the night.

Izuku was helping Ochako out with the bedding as they finished.

"Thanks, always a pain getting this bedding to stick." She told him as he waved his hand.

"No problem. This thing just got attached to the building and certain things sometimes get jostled." Ochako then spun around, looking at her room.

"Wait. This thing wasn't here when you and Ryu-san first came here!?"

"Nope, we had the option, but me and him tend to keep things like TVs and game consoles in the living room area. Otherwise, we would have had to pay extra for the thing, but since you're here, the rent has gone down a bit, and the discount per us being Rangers has been enrolled. Anything else, like my books on Heroes and their Quirks I keep in my room. Feel free to ask for shelving or the like." With that, Ochako pulled out her flip phone and began to type some things on it.

"I take it your parents weren't able to pay for a low-end smartphone?" He asked as she nodded.

"Well, talk with Captain Zeno when you get a chance. She'll issue a Ranger Smartphone for you, so that way we have the best way of communicating." Ochako then beamed at that.

"Don't get too excited. It will be for Ranger duties only and not for personal use." Ochako just shrugged.

"Oh well. Anyway, I need some time to sleep and think about how my room is designed. So could you get out, please?" Izuku laughed as he turned for the door.

"Sure thing, just talk to Zeno as soon as you-WHOA!" Unfortunately, Izuku hadn't been paying attention to where his shins were and knocked over a flat box as his foot got caught and he fell to the ground.

"Oh jeez! I am so sorry!" He said as he saw the box was slightly open from his bumbling, quickly picking it up …

Only to realize it was the bottom and the contents spilled out.

"Well, I was hoping that I wouldn't have that seen." Ochako nervously said …

As the box reveled itself to contain a pink dress that had frills going up the middle of the stomach area with two shoulder straps on it, black tights, a bow piece and pearl necklace, and a pair of red pumps that had fabric crossing the foot section in an x pattern that flared out in the back and looked like you could tie a bow with them.

"Um, are you into this?" Izuku nervously asked as he picked up the pumps that had fallen away.

"No, actually. It was the last gift my parents gave me before I headed out for the Sheldar Ranger base and was in the process of sending over here." She said as she gently picked up the dress and put the leggings back in an undamaged box.

"Well, I better go with my original plan and make sure I don't knock anything else over again." He said as he managed to get to her door, before he paused.

"Hey, Ochako." Ochako turned to him.

"What's up?"

"Call me Deku."

"Deku? As in like Dekiru?"

"No, it was the nickname my sister used before I got tossed out. It may sound similar to Dekiru, but it was short for Determined Izuku." He said as he turned to head out.

"But why, Deku?" Izuku sighed at that.

"I just want to hear it used like that again, and I'm getting tired of hearing SAN all the time." He said as he exited her room and closed the door.

Ochako stood there for a moment before her eyes darted to the box that held her special dress.

"Ochako, he is your superior, do not get any funny ideas right now."

UNFORTUNATELY, IT SEEMS TO HAVE ALL GONE TO THAT TINY PEA SIZED BRAIN OF HIS.

WHEN I FIRST ARRIVED DOWN HERE, HE THOUGHT IT WAS HILARIOUS WHAT HAPPENED TO ME.

HE KEEPS TALKING ABOUT HOW HE'LL BE THE BEST HERO EVER, EVEN BETTER THAN ALL MIGHT, HIS IDOL.

I KEEP WONDERING WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF HE EVER DISCOVERED I'M HIS SON.

AND WONDER HOW BADLY MY DAD IS GOING TO BEAT HIM WHEN HE DISCOVERS WHAT HE DID MY ENTIRE LIFE DOWN HERE.

Katsuki growled at that response and tried to land an explosive hit on Izuku, but he just spun out of the way and Katsuki impacted his hand on the wall that had been behind him.

"Really? You go for the same damn strategy?"

"SHUT THE F$ & UP, DEKU! ONCE I GET MY HANDS ON YOU, YOU'LL RESCIND THAT SHEET OF PAPER!"

"One, it was an email that I HAD to send out in general. Two, I'm a Ranger, remember? I've had to fight Duke Lords since I was 10. Three, are you really going to risk pissing your sister off?" Izuku asked as Bakugo pulled his hand out and tried again for a punch.

"I'LL SHOW YOU, YOU USELESS DE-"

*FREEEZCRAAAACK! *

Katsuki stopped as he felt his arm not only get grabbed, but freezing cold as his nitroglycerin suddenly became unable to ignite.

"Katsumi, why?" He whimpered out as he saw the angry eyes of his sister.

"I have warned you SEVERAL TIMES about attacking my superior, KATSUKI."

ALONGSIDE THAT, KATSUMI DEFINITLY DIDN'T INHERIT THE LOUD BLABBERMOUTH PART OF THE BAKUGO LINE.

DUE TO TRAINING ALONGSIDE OTHER RANGERS, SHE PREFERS TO HIDE HER OWN POWER AND LET THE ENEMY COME TO HER AND FOCUS MORE ON OUTLASTING HER OPPONENT.

HER ARMS, WHEN COMBINED WITH HER ICE REAPER SWORDS, CAN MAKE THE SWORDS EVEN HARDER BY FREEZING THE LIQUID CORE OF THE BLADES AND BECOMING SHARPER.

KATSUMI WAS THE FIRST ONE I EVER HELPED WHEN ZENO NAMED ME AND ANIKI AS ALPHA TEAM.

SHE HAS BECOME SO GOOD SHE HAS HER OWN SQUAD, THE GAMMA SQUAD.

Katsuki began to whimper in fear and pain as Katsumi's Freeze Quirk was taking quick effect as his sweat wasn't at the right temperature to actually blast itself.

"Katsumi, he is-"

"HE FOUGHT A DEATHCOW, A BEAK, A DUKE MAGE, DUKE BATTLER, AND DUKE LORD ALL AT ONCE THREE DAYS AGO! AND HELD THEM ALL OFF UNTIL ALL MIGHT AND CAPTAIN ZENO COULD GET THERE! LEARN TO RESPECT US!" She growled out as she threw her brother back.

Katsuki glared at her before leaving, while shoving Izuku at the shoulder.

And then got his sister's hands on his throat.

"ENOUGH!" A teacher said as he came out.

"Katsuki, leave. You're in enough trouble with the Rangers as it is." He told him, as several Rangers then appeared and glared at him.

One looked to have a Mutation Quirk that had his head like that of a dog.

Another had a Mutation where his body was similar to that of a mole with razor sharp claws.

A third one looked to be some kind of gargoyle as he pulled his belt tighter, spread his wings and crack his neck.

The last one, well…

It looked like a walking Hunk of armor with short legs and arms, almost like an old school stove with blank white spheres for eyes.

"Ershin says you should leave now."

"I don't take orders from a walking trash can!" Katsuki shouted …

Only to suddenly have the thing in his face.

"If Ershin tells you to leave then leave." It pressed closer.

"IF ERSHIN TELLS YOU TO LEAVE, THEN LEAVE." Katsuki soon found himself pressed up against the wall as Ershin then got so close to his face, he couldn't see anything except the white eyes.

"IF ERSHIN TELLS YOU TO LEAVE, THEN LEAVE!"

Katsuki then crawled away and then booked it out when that happened.

"Hmph. He may have the spirit of the warrior, but the fool has the mind of a child." The gargoyle said as he again cracked his neck.

"Sometimes I wonder how me and him came out of the same gene pool, Garr." Katsumi said as the dog one brought out a crossbow and fired off a bolt.

"YEOW!" Katsuki was heard shouting as he jumped into the air when the bolt landed in his rear.

"BOW!" Katsuki shouted as he shrugged.

"I mean, he deserves that for what he did to Izuku, ma'am." Katsumi shook her head as the mole went over to Izuku.

"Big Bro Izuku, did he get you at all?" He asked hugging his leg.

"No, not a bit, Mogu. It will take more than an overactive Pomeranian like him to do me in." He said as he left the school.

"Well, Gamma Squad, let's get out of here and keep an eye on my so-called brother." Katsumi said, as they too left the premises.

Izuku had walked to the marketplace where he saw Ryu and Ochako waiting for him.

"All right, you got the list you made, Ochako?" Ochako nodded and handed him a small list.

"Alright let's go-."

"STOP, THIEF!"

The three whirled around as they saw a man holding a purse to his chest as a woman began to chase after him.

Quickly putting his mask on, Izuku tackled the man to the ground, who tried to get him off.

Unfortunately, Ryu had gotten his arms to let go of the purse and handcuffed him.

"Off duty Rangers. Tough luck, pal." He chided as Rangers who WERE on duty arrived.

Izuku quickly grabbed the purse and turned to the woman.

"Here you are, Ma'am. Hope he didn't take any-" Izuku froze when he saw the woman's face.

"Oh, thank you! I used to be a pro hero, but I haven't been doing any heroics in years so I'm a bit out of practice." She said as she took back her purse.

"I'm Inko Yagi. And I think that you deserve-" However, Izuku had run away but that point, which confused her.

"Um, did I do something wrong?" Ochako and Ryu just shrugged.

"Well, can you give him this as thanks for all his hard work?" She asked, as she handed some candy over.

It was his mother.

IT WAS HER!

He had seen her, she had put on some weight, but she was alive!

But what was she doing in Mustafa?

She could have gone shopping anywhere!

And then, as Izuku stopped underneath a bridge to catch his breath, he also had a sudden realization.

She didn't recognize him.

He had been in front of her, and she wasn't able to recognize him.

It had been ten years, but surely, she would remember!

Izuku raised his hand to wipe his brow …

And then cursed himself for forgetting that he was wearing a mask.

"WHAT!? DO I NEED TO GET RID OF THIS DAMN THING SO THAT THEY CAN SEE MY FACE OR SOMETHING!?" He shouted to the heavens, unaware that something was behind him.

"Hmmm. A Ranger, now that might be a useful disguise." Izuku jumped out of the way as something splashed down near him.

Something that looked to be living sludge then formed back up and glared at him.

"That is your way, Ranger, but unfortunately, I need your body to hide from the Hero chasing me!" He slurred out as he again tried to get Izuku.

"Dude, I've had to fight a whole swarm of fast little buggers. You're not going to get me. So why don't you just surrender?" The teeth moved around to form a clenched teeth look as he 'narrowed' his eyes at Izuku.

"Let's see if you can KEEP DODGING FOREVER!"

"TEXAS SMASH!" Suddenly, a massive gust of wind blew most of the sludge off as the villain then became a tiny little puddle.

"APOLGIES YOUNG MAN! I HAD BEEN AT A DEPARTMENT STORE WHEN THIS FIEND HAD STOLEN FROM THE MUSUTAFU BANK!" Izuku was speechless, as he once again was in front of his father.

This time, he had a chance to be alone with him.

"All Might."

"HMM? OH, NOW I RECOGNIZE THAT VOICE! YOU'RE ONE OF THE RANGERS WHO I AIDED AT THE LIFT BAY THREE DAYS AGO! TELL ME, WHY DON'T YOU HAVE YOUR EQUIPMENT?" Izuku rubbed his neck at that.

"I actually have a week off to try and catch up with school. These Genic attacks have really forced an all hands-on deck situation, especially with those surprise Smart Genics that day." All Might nodded as he brought out a bottle and sucked up the villain into it.

"I can understand that. Still, well done on dodging him. Tell me, do you know the nearest Ranger outpost?" Izuku pointed off into the distance.

"That way, but before you-."

"Thank you, young Ranger! Now it's time for me to say goodbye!" With that, All Might leapt away, heading for the Outpost.

However he soon realized something.

"YOUNG MAN, WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?"

Izuku had grabbed onto All Might's waist as they flew through the air.

Quickly landing on a nearby building, All Might shook off Izuku.

"Young man, would you kindly explain why you grabbed onto my waist? If you want an autograph-"

"I have a question." All Might then poked at him.

"My D-Ratio is 1/8192, and I'm Quirkless. Do you think I can be a Hero despite this?" All Might stared at him, as he seemed to be in deep thought.

"Honestly, I don't think you need to be. You're already a Ranger. And you've already beaten many despite your Ratio. Tell me, why do you ask this question?"

"When I was 4, I was thrown down the trash for being Quirkless and my D-Ratio. Ever since, people have told me, even being a Ranger, that I am nothing, but trash and I should have perished in that pile." All Might stared, as he grew angry.

"Then they are fools. We Heroes also aren't the best of the best, as you perhaps saw with Mt. Lady. Some have become so arrogant, it's amazing that this society can even function." He then put a hand on Izuku's shoulder.

"And I had the reverse happen to me. My son was stripped away from me by a so called 'FRIEND' and I haven't been able to find him. My wife, she lost her will to continue being a hero and has put on some weight. My Daughter, however?" Izuku's eyes widened at that.

"Every day, when she comes back home from studying or hanging out, goes straight for a shrine we made for him when we left high society. She often stays there until a half hour before doing anything. And 3 days ago, we had the anniversary of when he was taken form us."

Izuku's eyes had tears in them, as he stared at All Might.

They still missed him.

They wanted him to come home, if able.

"That's why I hold out hope for him. I will find him, and I will not lose him again. I failed to be there for him when he got jumped, and I shall not help anyone who throws away life that easily or flaunts their D-Ratio. You, my young friend, are the best of us all, even better than Heroes. Don't let your dream die because I think you already are better than us." With that, All Might began leaping away again.

Izuku stood there for a few moments longer, contemplating how much he had just been given.

'My family is still looking for me. Maybe I shouldn't have run away from mom- wait. Why didn't HE recognize me if I'm his son, and why did I feel like an outsider talking to?" Izuku cut himself off as he then AGAIN remembered something.

"SCREW THIS ACCURSED MASK!"

All Might had landed just outside of the radius of the Ranger Outpost.

'OK, now all I have to do is make sure they get this freak locked up and- wait. WHERE'S THE BOTTLE!?"

Patting himself like crazy as he exited his muscle form, Toshinori ran out of the alley and began a frantic search.

And soon, all he found was the broken bottle that held the villain.

"He's on the loose again! And he might target that Ranger for dodging him and preventing him from getting away!"

He quickly began a frantic search for any clues as to the identity of the Ranger he met or the villain.

Bakugo had managed to get away from his sister and her team as he hid down an alley.

"Katsumi, why do you keep protecting someone without a Quirk or is a lower D-Ratio!? They are nothing but trash! The literal place they found him!"

Bakugo would have continued shouting had he not suddenly gotten a shot full of rotten eggs.

"Well, well now. Guess I have the perfect vessel for my revenge."

Bakugo had just enough time to whirl around at that voice …

Before a disgusting liquid went down his throat.

Izuku had returned home to get his equipment.

He too had seen the bottle vanish from All Might after that ride they went for, and had a feeling that freak was planning on getting him for revenge.

Soon, he saw several people running away.

"Hey! What's going?"

*BOOM! *

The moment he heard that he rushed over.

And he saw a sight that made him gag.

It was that Sludge Villain from earlier, and he had a hostage this time too.

And then he saw Katsumi enraged.

"LET HIM GO YOU FREAK!" She shouted as she froze the core of her swords and thr liquid exploded out to make bigger blades.

But the Sludge Villain put his hostage up and an explosion ripped.

"NICE TRY, ICE QUEEN! WITH THIS QUIRK, I CAN TAKE REVENGE ON THAT RANGER WHO ESCAPED ME!"

Garr had tried to use his Pyrokinetic abilities to find something flammable on the arms, but the villain would just swallow the flames and cut off the oxygen.

Bow was trying to keep him distracted by firing several exploding bolts, but he just regained his Sludge each time.

Mogu emerged from underground and Ershin slammed their foot into the ground, causing it to crack.

However, instead of him falling into the crack, more Sludge came UP.

"IF YOU WANT THIS BOY TO LIVE, THEN BRING ME THAT RANGER I MET UNDERNEATH THE BRIDGE EARLIER! HE MAXE ME GET CAPTURED BY ALL MIGHT!" With that, Izuku then got a good look at his hostage.

It was Katsuki.

And he had something he never expected him to see.

Tears.

Katsuki was crying and looked like he was pleading for some entity to help him.

That was the last straw.

Izuku booked it down the street with his swords at the ready and leapt at one of the Sludge arms and slashed it.

"AH! YOU FINALLY CAME! SAVES ME THE TIME SEARCHING FOR YOU! LET US SEE HOW YOU HANDLE THIS QUIRK!"

Manipulating Katsuki's body like a wooden doll, explosions were sent Izuku's way as he slid down the Sludge.

Before Sludge could go on the attack again, he literally froze in the mid section.

"ERSHIN! ROCKET FIST!" Ershin didn't hesitate and launched one of her balled up fists at the Villain as the ice shattered …

Only to reform seconds later.

"FOOLS! ANY SLUDGE CAN WORK FOR ME, AND I AM RIGHT OVER A SEWER PIT! YOU CANNOT STOP ME!"

Izuku slashed at his neck as the Villain looked at him annoyed.

Then all the gathered Rangers leapt at him …

Only for Katsuki to explode his whole body and send all of them, even himself to the ground as a Sludgy tentacle grabbed Izuku.

"AS MUCH AS I WOULD LOVE TO EXPLODE YOU INTO RED MIST, YOU CAUSED ME TO GET CAUGHT BY ALL MIGHT. FOR THAT, LET'S SEE HOW LONG YOU CAN HOLD YOUR BREATH!"

With that, Izuku was moved down to the chest of the villain as he was getting pulled further and further in, desperately slashing to get free.

Katsumi and her squad began to desperately beat on the villain, who just laughed at their efforts.

Then, two small tendrils emerged near Izuku's head as they pulled off his mask.

"ALMOST FORGOT! CAN'T HAVE YOU WITH SOME SORT OF TRICK THAT MASK MIGHT HAVE! YOU'LL HAVE TO RELY ON YOUR OWN LUNG POWER, AND MY SLUDGE IN YOUR LUNGS!"

Izuku didn't give up struggling as he again tried to slash his swords.

This time, however, when they impacted, they were pulled into the villain's body as Izuku only had his bare hands now.

With each pull, he went deeper and deeper into the body.

Izuku's head was soon the only thing that was still out as he quickly took some deep breaths to try and get as much oxygen as he could …

And he then saw him.

His father.

His father stared up in horror as he looked at what was happening.

And he had tears in his eyes.

He said one word, and he hoped he would understand.

"Sorry."

And with that, Izuku was pulled into the Sludge Villain, who forced open his mouth and completely cut off his oxygen supply that he had taken.

Toshi had just gotten to the Plaza, as he had seen the commotion.

And it had gone from "WORSE" to "TOTALLY SCREWED."

He could only stare as he tried desperately to get One For All to work as he saw a squad of Rangers fight to save an explosion themed Quirk user that the villain had taken as both a weapon and hostage.

Then he saw the Ranger from before jump in as he bravely slashed away.

Unfortunately, by tricking the little digger to get more sludge, the Villain couldn't be harmed by their Quirks or their weaponry.

He saw the young man get captured and absorbed into the Villain, as he desperately tried to activate One For All.

"Come on, COME ON! He needs help!" He begged as an image of 2 minutes appeared and he growled as he saw the young man trying to break free.

Then his mask fell off, as Toshi finally saw his face …

And he felt like he wanted to throw up.

With a mop of green hair on his head and the freckles still in place long ago.

He saw his son for the first time in 10 years.

And he was stuck in this Villain.

Their eyes met, as Izuku said something.

He was too far away to hear his voice, but he could read lips partially.

"SORRY."

All he could do now was watch as his son was pulled inside the villain with his mouth open.

As the Villain made the section around him clear so that everyone could see.

And he knew his wife was watching the news.

He desperately pushed his given Quirk for all he could, but there was nothing.

He still had one minute before the recharge was done.

All he could do now, besides watching his son that he had WORKED with and been PROUD of, about to meet his end.

As he fell to the ground, he did the only thing he could do.

Pray.

"Please, someone, anyone, something, ANYTHING. Please, SAVE HIM!" he begged as the other two rangers that worked with him appeared as well as the captain.

"Please, let Izuku live." He whimpered, aware that the other two who were next to him heard and knelt down.

Right now, he wasn't aware of the rest of the world.

Only the fact that he had reunited with Izuku several times now, and not once was he smart enough to recognize him.

"WHAT IS THAT THING!?" Someone shouted as Toshi opened his eyes …

And realized it was suddenly dark.

Looking up, he saw a sight that he never thought he'd see in his lifetime.

A green, black and silver draconian creature was hovering above them as it seemed to be looking for something.

"A Dragon Half?" He whispered …

As everyone heard something.

"CAN IT …?"

Everyone heard it repeat that about 5 times, as they then saw Izuku moving his arm, grabbing his sword and then …

Inko had just gotten back home, as she put dinner on the stove.

"Hey, mom! The Rangers are engaging that Sludge Villain Dad went after!" Izumi called out, as Inko went to the living room.

She saw the young man who had helped her out in the market getting pulled into the thing.

"And no word on this Ranger as he cannot seem to break free of this Villain! All Might had been seen before stopping him, and this particular Ranger, despite his low D-Ratio and Quirklessness, had aided him with 5 Smart Genics 3 days ago! Is this the end of a Ranger?"

Inko hoped not, as the young man battled to get free of this freak …

And then his mask came off.

"DEKU!?" Izumi shouted as she leapt off the couch.

Inko could only stare at who it was.

Her son.

Her son had been the one to help her!

That was probably why he ran away!

He thought she had forgotten him!

WHAT SICK JOKE WAS THE UNIVERSE PLAYING ON HER WHERE SHE COULDN'T RECOGNIZE HER OWN SON!?

"WAIT A MINUTE FOLKS! It seems some sort of creature has appeared in the skies above the battlefield!"

Inko looked back at the screen and saw a sight that stopped her heart.

"What's a dragon doing here!?"

"WAIT! WE ARE NOW GETTING REPORTS THAT THE RANGER INSIDE THE VILLAIN IS MOVING!"

It went back to showing Izuku, still inside the Villain as he grabbed his sword …

And while Izumi freaked out at what happened next, Inko could only stare in shock at what happened.

Even then, that didn't stop her mind from saying one thing.

"The contract has been made."

Izuku was barely able to keep a lid on his mouth now.

The villain had pried it open, and he felt him forcing his sludge down his lungs, down his throat.

And all after he had finally got to show his father his face.

Soon, his vision began to fade as everything went dark and he had about 3 minutes left to live.

"CAN IT …?"

What was that?

Izuku couldn't open his eyes, but he no longer felt like he was suffocating.

If anything, his breathing had returned to normal.

Even then, can he what?

"CAN IT … FIGHT?"

FIGHT?

As in fight for his life, or fight for a chance to talk to his father again?

Cause he would fight no matter what.

Or if it meant fight for others to prevent them from going what he went through, then yes.

"CAN IT … AMEND?"

Amend?

Well, he absolutely wanted to make amends with his family, both new and old.

He wanted to see their faces one last time at least.

"CAN IT … BEFRIEND?"

Befriend?

Well, despite his Low D-Ratio and his origins, he had befriended a lot of people that were above him.

He would allow anyone who wanted to be his friend into his circle.

"CAN IT … FORGIVE?"

THAT was an easy one.

ABSOLUTELY.

What Bosch did was very unforgivable, but if he hadn't thrown him down that trash chute, he wouldn't have the family here today.

"CAN IT … LOVE?"

Izuku hesitated quite a bit before he thought of an answer.

Mostly because it wasn't clear what kind of "LOVE" this thing was talking about.

Images then flashed in his head of hugging his mother, father and sister.

How he did the same with Captain Zeno when he was younger and with Ryu.

And then, images of Ochako came into his mind.

The moment she joined up, a lot felt like it had just left when he looked at her.

She was the first girl who didn't look down on him.

And she felt like she was going to be joining that tight circle of a family the last three days she had been here.

If the voice was referring to "THAT LOVE" he didn't know if he would find it.

"GOOD."

Suddenly, his left arm grabbed one of his blades that were near him, unimpeded from the sludge that surrounded him as he realized he wasn't the one controlling his arm.

No matter what he told it to do, it moved on its own, as his right hand then grabbed the hilt.

With that blade pointing at his chest.

"I'LL CHOOSE YOU!"

*SSSCHNICK! *

And then Izuku found himself having a nice new hole in the chest.

"Huh, guess I should have thought to get rid of those swords, but at least that's one less Ranger to bug me!"

When Izuku had stabbed himself, the creature had disappeared without a trace, as no one could find it again.

"Now, to absorb all of you! My revenge is ruined because he killed himself, but I now have all of you!"

The villain began to advance as he ejected the body out along with both swords.

Ryu and Ochako had finally arrived with Captain Zeno as they glared daggers at the freak.

"Rangers, show no MERCY." Zeno practically growled as the assembled Rangers threw themselves at the Sludge Villain.

But he was ready.

Zeno was the first to get thrown into a wall, her legs pinned underneath rubble as she glared at the one who took one of her best students.

Garr and Bow were knocked out when the Sludge Villain used his appendages to get underneath the concrete at their feet and basically crush them.

Ershin had just gotten Mogu out of the way as the Villian then hardened his fist and slammed it down on top of them, with Ershin, while not damaged, was stuck in the ground with only their head seen.

Ryu had been slammed into the street and into Katsumi as Ochako tried to come at the villain with 4 heavy pieces of rubble …

Only to get grabbed by him.

"Such a pretty little one, who made the dumb choice of joining the Rangers! Now then, let's see what happens when I take over your Quirk."

Toshi just looked on with anger.

His son had been taken away, and now this freak was destroying the Rangers he respected as they were putting up whatever fight they could.

And he still had one minute left before he could transform again.

When the freak had grabbed the girl who he had seen working with his son, all he could do was sense that she would not make it.

Then he saw something coming from behind the Sludge Villain.

The Sludge Villain had slowly pulled Ochako up as she kept stabbing her basic knife into the Sludge Villain.

"HAHAHAHAHA! TRY ALL YOU WANT; YOU'LL JUST MEET THE SAME FATE AS HE DID!"

Ochako growled as she then felt him squeezing her, as she began to scream in pain from the squeeze.

Tendrils appeared and got ready to enter her mouth when a figure appeared from the sun …

And fell onto his back as two sword points appeared in his chest.

(PLAY BREATH OF FIRE: DRAGON QUARTER FORMIDABLE FOE HERE,)

The Sludge Villain paused for a moment before he screamed in pain.

"GET THOSE THINGS OUT OF MY BACK! HOW AM I BEING HURT BY THESE THINGS!?"

The Sludge Villain began to shake around, trying to get whatever it was that was hurting him off his back, as he thrashed back and forth.

Ochako got a chance to see what had stabbed into the Villain's back.

"DEKU-KUN!?"

Izuku had both his swords in the Villain's back as he was finally thrown off and slammed into a steel wall.

The Sludge Villain slithered up to him with a snarl as he still held Ochako.

"I don't know HOW you survived stabbing yourself, BUT I'LL MAKE SURE IT'S PERMANENT!"

He threw his right fist forward, clearly expecting Izuku to not be able to dodge it as all he did was stare at him.

So, imagine the utter confusion when in the span of 4 seconds, a green fiery dome covered Izuku as he dashed out of the way at inhuman speeds.

Both the Sludge Villain and Ochako had about 3 more seconds to see Izuku skid to a halt, turn to face them, lunge …

*KRASLICE! *

AAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGRRRHHHHHH!

The Sludge Villain found himself missing his arm past the shoulder as he continued to wail in pain, while Ochako was safely in Izuku's arms.

Izuku let her down near the others, with the civilians just looking in amazement at what he did, as he turned to face the Villain.

The Villain began to slowly walk over, and everyone realized that the arm hadn't regrown.

On the ground where his arm had landed, only a skeletal hand up to the shoulder was there.

"Youuu … YOOUUUUUUUUUU!"

The Sludge Villain was done.

He reared back his remaining hand, ready to strike Izuku …

Only to find him slicing him at the waist as again he couldn't regenerate.

"WHAT IS HAPPNING!? MY BONE STRUCTURE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE SEEN!"

Izuku just looked at him, not saying a word.

He just held his blade up, ready to take off another limb, before …

"DETROIT SMASH!"

All Might punched the Sludge Villain, and he punched him HARD.

One could be forgiven for thinking that he had some pent-up ANGER for this Villain right now as he splattered across the ground and slowly rebuilding himself.

Gamma Squad wasted no time, quickly sucking up the pieces of him and picking up the bones that Izuku had somehow cut off as they were put into containers designed to let no air or liquid in.

The Sludge Villain, despite the fact he literally wasn't a giant monster anymore, kept making threats the entire time.

Zeno looked around and saw that Izuku was gone, and she had a feeling she knew where he went.

"Ryu, Ochako. You're with me. We're going to find Izuku." Unbeknownst to her, All Might heard and followed.

Izuku had just made his way to his thinking spot.

He had seen everything from his own eyes, and he felt …

Terrified.

He had NEVER done that before.

Wielded that power, MOVED LIKE FIRE!

It was exhilarating and yet …

He felt like the power wanted to KILL the Villain, and that nothing could stop it.

And while he was able to divert it from striking Ochako, he wasn't sure if he would have been able to stop that power.

"DEKU-KUN!" Izuku tensed up when he heard that voice and saw Ochako running for him.

"THAT WAS AMAZING! I DIDN'T KNOW YOU COULD DO THAT! COULD YOU-!"

"DON'T COME NEAR ME!"

Ochako froze in surprise at that.

"Izuku, what's wrong?" Ryu asked as he tried to get closer, only for Izuku to shuffle away.

"How do I know I wasn't infected with something!? I never had that kind of power! I'm Quirkless, remember!?" He shouted in a panic as Zeno also came over.

"Izuku, I've known you for years since we found you in that trash pile. What happened? A Draconian Creature was seen flying around the skies as it kept repeating 'CAN IT' over and over agin." Izuku raised an eyebrow at that.

"Wait. Thay's all you guys heard?" Everyone looked at each other.

"I heard it say 5 different things. Fight, Amend, Befriend, Forgive, and Love. And when I gave it my answers, it said that it chose me." He said as he curled into a ball.

"I can answer some questions." Nearly jumping in fright, the 4 turned and saw All Might standing there.

"OH MY GOSH, IT'S ALL MIGHT! THE NUMBER ONE HERO TALKING TO US!" Ochako cheered out excitedly as Zeno and Ryu just looked.

"Guess you finally saw his identity. How stupid do you feel?" Ryu asked, as Ochako looked shocked.

"So stupid that I never asked his name. And how much of a failure of a father I was both when he needed me and when we kept running into each other I'll bet." Ryu quirked an eyebrow at that as Zeno adjusted her glasses and looked at her tablet.

"Toshinori Yagi, D-Ratio 1/16. Number One Hero of Japan, the entirety of the Musutafu and Sheldar districts and the Hero known to not tolerate D-Ratio disrespect." She then looked back at Izuku, and nodded.

"And father of Izuku Midoriya Yagi, 1/8192." Ochako then looked in shock at Izuku.

"Wait, YOU'RE FATHER IS ALL MIGHT!? HOW COME YOU-" Ochako stopped herself as she remembered his story.

"Oh yeah. Sorry." All Might looked ashamed.

"Indeed. Bosch and Regent Vexacion were the ones who threw him down that trash chute all those years ago. And as such, I moved down here. I refused to live in a place that so easily threw away a life like that, especially my own son's."

All Might then looked determined and struck one of his poses.

"But I will not fail a second time! For in seeing all his actions, I can wholeheartedly say that he is worthy!" Zeno then took off her glasses and she activated her Quirk.

"Worthy of what? And what was that creature?" To everyone's surprise, All Might didn't flinch, and he smiled.

"Worthy like I was to my mentor of my Quirk. And the creature was a – HYARK!" Before he could continue, All Might suddenly went from muscles to a skeleton within seconds.

"What the!?" Ochako shouted as Ryu just looked in astonishment at what happened.

Even Zeno was taken aback as her Quirk deactivated and she quickly cleaned her glasses and put them back on to make sure she hadn't mistaken in seeing what happened.

"That's a new one, even for me. Does explain why the photo on the DNA charts didn't match with your Hero License." She said as Izuku chuckled.

"Have to admit, it was kind of funny seeing you do that again after 10 years." Instead of looking shocked, Toshi laughed.

"I'll bet, Izuku. But yes, after a battle with a Villain of Sheldar, I now have a time limit." Ochako was horrified when she heard that.

"TIME LIMIT!? ARE YOU GOING TO DIE!? HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE!?" Zeno then placed a hand on Ochako's shoulder as she calmed down.

"I'm not dying, but I can no longer maintain my hero form for no longer than 3 hours." He explained as he showed the wound on his chest.

"And even then, my Quirk can kill me if I keep it for too long. And that is why I find my son worthy." He then turned to Izuku.

"Just like you, son, I too was born Quirkless. However, my D-Ratio was even lower than yours, 1/16,384. I didn't even have a chance to do anything besides be crushed in a cave in. However, then Nana saved me and trained me to be her Successor." They all turned to Izuku, who also couldn't believe what he was hearing.

He had heard his father's stories, but to think that this could happen?

"As such, you too can become a Hero. You have the heart, the courage, and the will. I name you, Izuku Midoriya as my successor to One For All!"

(IN THE REGENT OFFICES!)

Elyon was meditating in his private chambers, just trying to stave off his body's deterioration.

400 years pass when he tried to open the door, and he hesitated.

Many new Dragons had come, with such high D-Ratios, and they all failed to get past the Regents.

Did he make a mistake?

What should he have done?

"NGRG!" He grimaced as he felt pain from his old contract.

And two names flashed in his mind.

"BEZGRANICHNYY."

"IZUKU MIDORIYA YAGI."

Quickly taking a breath as he returned to the real world, Elyon stumbled and looked across his balcony on the "volcano."

He remembered Izuku, a young innocent child whose father had been a great friend and asset once upon a time.

That changed when Vexacion and Bosch threw him away when his D-Ratio was revealed as 1/8192.

There was no way a Dragon Half could have even detected him unless he directly touched it.

But the other name caught his attention.

Back when he had been bonded with Odjn, he had told him of several Dragons who were desciples to him.

And one had NEVER even bothered searching for a Chosen ever.

So, why come out all of a sudden?

And no main Dragon Half was currently active.

All he could do was look at the Musutafu section of the Burroughs and sigh.

"Maybe Vexacion threw him away too soon. Izuku had much more potential after all." He said to no one as he remembered how each Dragon used an old language known as Russian for names.
