Hotchner Household

"Ssh, little baby, it's okay," Emily whispered, rocking her 10-week-old daughter.

The baby only cried louder, driving her mother to near tears. Ellie Hotchner, it seemed, was not destined to be an easy child. She simply had too much of the Prentiss genes. It didn't help matters that summer break had officially started last week leaving Jack home all day. Not that Emily didn't love the boy, it's just that her job got infinitely harder when she had to add in entertaining a six-year-old. The cherry on top was that Aaron had ended his paternity leave that day, and had immediately been called away on a case. Thankfully, the case was local, meaning that he would probably be home in less than a week.

Just as Ellie was closing her eyes and the mother and daughter duo were drifting off to a much-needed nap, Jack entered the room loudly.

"Emmy, can we go to the park?"

Ellie jumped awake, filling the room with shrill cries. Emily attended to her daughter, ignoring Jack for a moment.

"I'm bored," Jack complained.

"Jack, shh!" Emily said way harsher than she intended.

She didn't miss the tears in his eyes as he ran out of the room. She sighed, still bouncing the baby when the doorbell rang.

"Let's go see who's here," she cooed at Ellie.

The infant offered nothing other than a cry. Emily carried her over to the door, looking into the peephole. To her surprise, her mother, Ambassador Elizabeth Prentiss stood on the other side. Emily sighed. "This will be fun," she whispered to her daughter before opening the door.

"Hello, Mother," she greeted tersely.

"What's the matter with you? Are you not happy to see your mother?" Elizabeth asked, brushing past her daughter and floating in the room.

"I am. But now's really not a great time. I can't get the baby to stop screaming, Jack is upstairs right now probably worried that I hate him, and my husband is away, most likely getting shot at. So excuse me if I'm not the perfect host." She attempted to put a bottle in her baby's mouth, but she just spit it out and continued to cry.

"Well, I brought gifts. And I'd really love to meet my granddaughter," Elizabeth responded, taking a seat in one of the chairs.

"You have more than one grandchild, Mother."

Elizabeth rolled her eyes and let out a dramatic sigh. "I know that, Emily. Honestly. You think me a monster. I brought gifts for Jack as well, and I would love to visit with him. However, I have yet to meet Elaine and I would like to."

Emily didn't respond and instead handed off her daughter to her mother. Incredulously, the infant calmed almost instantly in the arms of her grandmother. When she got over her initial jealousy, she smiled. She'd never seen her mother so maternal. Hell, from her earliest memories, she couldn't remember a time when she wasn't being taken care of by a nanny, except for during social events. She reached for her phone and discreetly snapped a picture to show Aaron later.

"Stop photographing me and go attend to your son," Elizabeth said, not looking up from the bundle of pink in her arms. "And you could do with a shower; there's spit up on your shirt."

Emily rolled her eyes once more with a smile on her face before heading upstairs to check on Jack.

"Hey Jack-Jack," she greeted, entering his room carefully. The boy lay on his bed, pretending the superhero in his hand was flying. He didn't look at her. She took a seat at the end of his small bed. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have yelled at you. It's just that your sister is having a hard time sleeping right now and it's making me a little grumpy."

"Emmy? Do you love Ellie more, 'cause she's your baby and I have a different mommy?" Jack asked.

Emily was pretty sure she could physically feel her heartbreak. "Oh, Buddy, no! Of course not! I love you and Ellie both so so so much. Just because I didn't carry you in my tummy, doesn't mean I don't love you. Think about it like this, Haley's your Mommy right? But that doesn't mean you don't love me right?"

Jack nodded.

"Well, it's just like that with me, you, and Ellie."

Her answer seemed to pacify Jack because he responded, with, "Okay, Emmy."

"Now, Grandma is here and the bag she's carrying is rather large. I bet she brought lots of gifts. What don't you go see if she brought you anything good?"

Jack grinned big, shooting out of bed and out the door before Emily could blink.

Slowly, she eased herself off the bed and went to take a shower.

Garcia

"Hey, did you hear?" One of Penelope's neighbors said as she exited the elevator onto her apartment level.

"Hear what?"

"Inspectors found black mold growing in most of the apartments. The whole place is being evacuated."

Garcia found herself near tears. She was eight months pregnant, who was going to take her in on such short notice? And not only her but her baby too. It could take months before she was allowed back in her home, and by then Olivia would be born.

As soon as she stepped into her apartment she got onto her phone and opened up the B.A.U. group chat she had created.

B.A.U. Hotties

Goddess of Tech and Glitter: Code Black (Mold)! I've been evicted by a fungal invasion. My apartment is a no-go zone.

Muscle Man: Thats terrible news babygirl. U alrite?

Super Mom: That's awful, Pen! If you need anything let us know.

Undercover Queen: Definitely not good.

Italian Stallion: Mold is no joke. Stay safe Garcia. We'll sort this out.

Boss Man: Agreed. Your and Olivia's health comes first.

Boy Wonder: Garcia, you can stay with me if you would like. I have an extra room although you and Olivia will have to share when she arrives.

Goddess of Tech and Glitter: Boy Wonder, you're a lifesaver! Are you sure tho? I don't wanna impose and babies cause a lot of mess.

Boy Wonder: 100%

Undercover Queen: It's settled then.

Goddess of Tech and Glitter: You guys are the best! I don't know what'd I do without you!

Penelope clicked off her phone with a smile on her face. She dropped a hand down, finding the hard part of her stomach where Olivia's head rested. "You have the best aunts and uncles, Livvy. Even if they aren't related by blood, they mean the world to me, and they will to you too. Especially Uncle Spencie. He's doing a very nice thing for us Bean, and Mommy is going to spend a long time repaying him."

Morgan

"Are you sure you're ready for this?" Derek asks Savannah with a grin. They are standing on the doorstep of his mother's Chicago home. Fran Morgan had finally convinced her son that after four months, it was time for him to introduce his girlfriend to his family.

"More than ready," Savannah assured him. "I can't wait to meet the woman who raised you."

"Well, here goes." Derek raised his hand to knock when the door swung open and they were face to face with his mother and two sisters Desi and Sarah.

"Derek Christopher Morgan! You get your butt in here!"

The couple stepped inside, Derek letting go of Savannah's hand so he could properly hug his mother and sisters.

"Momma, girls, this is Savannah," he said, stepping back from Desi.

Savannah stuck her hand out for them to shake.

Fran all but laughed. "Honey, we're huggers in this house. Get over here." She squeezed Savannah hard. The other girls followed, albeit with less strength.

"Let's go into the living room," Fran suggested. "We have a lot of getting to know each other to do."

Derek was relieved to find the day had gone smoothly so far, that is until they were sitting down for dinner.

"So when am I going to get grandbabies from the two of you?" Fran asked. "I'm not getting any younger, you know."

Derek nearly choked on his food and Savannah flushed several shades of red. "Momma, we've only been together four months."

"Well, it must be serious if you're bringing her home." Desi pointed out.

"Yeah, Der, when's the last time you brought a girl home? Senior year of high school?" Sarah teased.

"Look you three, yes, it's true I like Savannah. And I am serious about her." Derek grabbed Savannah's hand in his. "But will have children when we're ready for them and when that day comes we will let you know."

Jareau

JJ burst into the hospital room that held her boyfriend the second the doctor said Will was out of surgery and ready for visitors. The case had been a gnarly one and Will had been caught in the crosshairs, getting shot when he entered a bank to rescue hostages.

"Will," she cried, rushing to his side.

Will enveloped her in a tight hug. "I'm okay Jen."

"I thought I was going to lose you."

"I know. But ya didn'. I'm righ' here."

JJ broke apart from him a little, rubbing the side of his face and looking deep into his eyes. "Ask me again."

"What?"

"Ask me again."

Will finally caught on. "I don' 'ave the ring. An' I'm wearin' a hospital gown."

JJ shook her head. "I don't care. Please just ask me again."

Will took her hands. "Jennifer Jareau will you marry me?"

"Yes."
