Chapta 45
"No im not" I whispered back smiling sheepishly.
He held on to my hand, "But you are. You're a dream come true into this world. Like are you even real?"
I laughed as he poked my stomach and lightly pinched my cheeks.
"Can I ask you something?" I said as he brought his hand back to holding mine.
"Yeah."
"How did you and I meet?" I asked.
Naruto lifted himself up a bit and rested his head on his shoulder.
"I met you on the first day of school. You were with Temari, Sakura, and Ino while Tenten went to go chase after your cousin. I was walking with Sasuke and...and Kiba and he introduced me to all of you. You were the last one to be introduced to me. I had trouble with my class schedule and you helped me. We both ended up having classes together and the same friends so we would see each other every day at school. You were so kind and sweet. You still are. One day we slept over at Sai's house. You, me and the rest of the group except for a few of them and we went to go egg Karin's house. We got in trouble for it and I helped you go up the ladder to clean windows. You were shaking and scared. I tried to tell you that it was alright, that I was right behind you. But you ended up looking down and fainting. We both hit the ground and you weren't waking up and we all freaked the hell out. We called an ambulance and when you woke up you didn't recognize any of us. We were all gone"
I stood quiet and squeezed his hand.
"I wish I remembered you Naruto" I said glancing at him. "I feel like a part of me is begging to know who you are. Who I met. Who I'm sharing pizza and blankets with"
"You will" He said.
"What if I don't?"
"You will. I know you will" He pulled me into his chest and wrapped his arms around me.
I hugged him back and shut my eyes thinking up a quick prayer in my head to help me remember this boy. I need to know. it's driving me insane. I need to believe I'll get through this just like Naruto believes as well.
"I have something for you Hinata."
"Something for me? What is it?" I asked as we let go of each other.
Naruto got up and walked towards his dresser and opened it up. He pulled out a rectangular box and looked at me.
He walked around to my side and sat down.
"Hinata.. before your accident I gave you something. I wanted to give this to you on your birthday but I really want to give it to you now"
"What is it?" I asked staring at the box
"Well it's something that meant alot when I bought it because I knew you'd like it which you did. But one day I don't know how or why, but I guess you and Neji went at it and he broke whats in this box. Sakura had it repaired and gave it back to me. So here I am returning it back to you in its repaired form hoping you'll like it again" He said handing the box to me.
I took it from his hands and looked at it.
What did Neji break that's in here? I shook it lightly and heard a chain like object hit the sides of the box.
"Open it" He smiled.
I slid the top off and gasped.
It was a necklace with my name on it covered in diamond.
Each letter filled with glistening Diamond.
I was stunned.
"Oh my gosh. Naruto how much was this necklace" I said as I took it out of the box.
He scooted closer to me. "The price doesn't matter. Do you like it?"
"Are you kidding? I love it! I honestly can't even right now"
"You want me to put it on for you?"
"Yes!"
I gently gave the necklace to Naruto and watched him unhook it. I moved my ponytail to the side as he brought it around my neck and hooked it back on.
I smiled as he came back to sit next to me.
"Thank you so much! I feel like total shit though" I said looking down at my pretty name.
"What? Why?" He asked.
"Because this must have cost you a whole lot. I mean, this is real freaking diamond!"
Naruto put his hand on top of mine
"Hinata I don't care about the price. There's a difference between wasting, spending and investing. This was not a waste of money. I spent money buying this beautiful necklace for you and seeing that gorgeous smile for the second time is a true investment for me and i couldn't be happier with the outcome" He said.
I tackled him with a hug.
"You are the sweetest fucking guy I know!"
"And you're by far the most perfect piece of existence that I had the privilege of having come across my life." He said lifting my chin up.
Our noses touched and we both smiled.

Towards around 8 pm Naruto brought me back to my house. We spent the rest of the day talking and getting to know more of each other. I had so many questions. Like what was his favorite color, what was his old school like and if he missed it. I wanted to know it all in hopes I'd have some sort of light switch turn on in my brain and I could finally remember him. We took a 3 hour nap and cuddled. We watched one more movie and went downstairs and played Just dance. He walked me to my door and hugged me goodbye.
I walked inside and said Hello to my mom who was eating cereal with Hanabi.
"Where have you been all day?" she asked putting her spoon down. "Not one phone call or text letting me know where you were"
"I'm sorry mom, I was out with Naruto" I said.
"You need to let me know next time Hinata! You just can't leave without letting me or Neji know where you are."
I agreed and apologized and went upstairs. As soon as I was about to head to my room, Neji comes out of his.
"Hinata"
I looked at him and noticed he had a strange look on his face.
"What's the matter Nej?"
"Come in we have to talk" He said pulling my arm towards his door.
"But we did this morn- What's going on? What are you guys doing here? What happened?"
I exclaimed. Sasuke, Shikamaru & Gaara were in Neji's room and Sasuke's knuckles were red and bruised while Gaara held a bag of frozen vegetables to his jaw.
"How was your day with Naruto?" smiled Sasuke.
"What the fuck happened?! Someone explain to me now!" I Shouted sitting on Neji's bed next to Gaara.
"We ran into Kiba today" Spoke up Shikamaru.
My eyes went wide in shock.
"Did he hurt Gaara? Why is his jaw bruised?" I looked at Sasuke. "Why are your knuckles like that?"
"I went to the mall with Shikamaru and Shino and took Hanabi with me. We went to a few stores and I looked around and didn't see Hanabi with us. We panicked and started to look for her and we found her talking to Kiba and he bought her an ice cream. We went up to him and I grabbed Hinata and took her away from him. I asked him what the hell was he doing talking to her and he said he came to buy a few things and saw Hanabi and wanted to say hello."
Neji's POV from earlier that day.
"Stay away from my family Kiba. We want nothing to do with you"
Kiba frowned and took a step foward.
"Listen I said I was sorry. I want to be there on Hinata's birthday. I want us to be friends again"
My temper was rising. "You're not invited, let alone, allowed to be near my cousin!"
"You're one fucked up dude" Said Shikamaru. "You're scum"
Just then Gaara, Sai and Sasuke came up to us.
Sasuke greeted us and already looked displeased.
"What's up guys, how are we doing?" He said.
"What are you doing here Sasuke?" I asked.
"I went to eat with Gaara and Sai at the Chipotle thats on the second floor. We were about to leave, but we saw you guys." He glanced over at Kiba. "What seems to be the problem here man?"
Kiba's face turned serious. "Nothing. I saw Hanabi and bought the kid some ice cream"
"Sai take Hanabi away for a minute" I said.
Sai walked over and grabbed Hanabi by the hand and took her to a toy store that was a few stores away from us.
"Listen Kiba, I don't know if I have to punch you in the face again like I did at the hospital, but stay the fuck away from all of us." Snapped Sasuke.
"I fucking said I was sorry! I really mean it!" He cried. "Punch me again and I'll swing at you 5times harder. You took advantage towards the fact that I was weak and in a hospital bed to throw a punch at me. Not this time Uchiha" He said with a serious look on his face getting closer to Sasuke.
Gaara got in between Kiba and Sasuke and got all into Kiba's face. "Bro you think we're going to forget all the salty shit you've said and done?"
"Get the fuck out of my face Gaara!" growled Kiba but Gaara kept taking steps foward every time Kiba stepped backwards.
"You lost all of our trust and friendship. I never met anyone so fucking pathetic and raunchy as fuck. You're nothing but a piece of shit!"
Just then Kiba brought his fist to Gaara's Jaw making Sasuke immediately catch him from falling onto the ground from the hit, brought him back to his feet and punched Kiba straight in the nose.
A group of people gasped as Kiba fell back knocking over a trash bin.
He got back up as blood began to come out of his nose.
"Is that all you got bitch?!" Shouted Kiba running towards Sasuke and tackling him to the ground. Shikamaru and I pulled Kiba off of Sasuke.
"Sasuke security's bound to come any minute now and people are freaking the fuck out! Stop it and let's go!" I yelled.
Kiba elbowed Shikamaru in the stomach and escaped from my grip and lunged himself to Sasuke again.
Sasuke stood up and ducked from Kiba's hit and got him straight to the side of his head.
"NEJI!"
I looked over and saw Sai coming out of the Toy store with Hanabi with a worried look on his face.
"Security is coming from the third floor! We gotta go! Come on!" He yelled across the mall.
I pulled Sasuke from the hood of his jacket before going back to Kiba who was groaning while grabbing his head on the ground.
"Sasuke security is on their way! Let's go! leave him!" I snapped.
As infuriated as I knew Sasuke was and wanted to continue hurting Kiba, he turned around and motioned Shino, Shikamaru and Gaara to follow.
We ran across the mall and passed people with terrified looks on their faces from what just happened.
We got to Sai and Hanabi and Sasuke picked up Hanabi and we began to run faster across the mall.
"Where did you guys park?" Shouted Sasuke as we dodged several people.
"Outside of the bakery facing the parking lot!" I replied.
"We did too!"
We heard the security behind us blowing their whistles and yelling at us to stop.
Some random middle aged shopper even tried stopping us by grabbing Shino but he pushed him off and managed to catch up to us.
We ran inside the Bakery and apologized to the majority of women with their kids holding onto them for dear life while 6 crazy teenagers carrying a 7 year old zoomed across a store filled with baked goods attempting to escape from mall security.
Shikamaru pushed the exit door open of the Bakery and we began heading to our cars.
"We'll take Hanabi with us! We'll follow you back home!" yelled Sasuke headed towards the opposite side of the parking lot with Gaara and Sai.

"Then once we got home, Sasuke managed to calm Hanabi down and promise not to mention anything that happened to mom. Sai and Shino had to leave so Temari picked them up which I'm sure she ended up finding out what happened along the way and the second we got inside, mom pulls up into the driveway coming home from work. We freaked out and I made Sasuke, Gaara and Shikamaru take Hanabi upstairs to run the drill through her again towards not saying anything while I stayed down stairs telling her hello."
"Then what happened?" I asked.
"Hanabi comes down stairs as if nothing happened and says hi to mom and so does Gaara and Sasuke. And I was like What the fuck because Gaara's jaw was all messed up and Sasuke covered his hand with the sleeve of his jakcet and-"
"And your mom flipped out and asked what happened to my face and I told her I was playing baseball with Lee and Ino and hadn't really placed ice on it. Your mom literally ran to the freezer and gave me like a pack of ice wrapped in a cloth. I've been down stairs like 3 times now to ask for a new cold something." Said Gaara interrupting Neji.
"Gosh it looks so purple" I frowned moving his hand and the bag of fozen veggies away from his jaw. "Did he really punch you that hard?"
Sasuke talked this time. "I mean he was about to fall until I caught him and brought him back up. So yeah he got him pretty good. If anything, I'm the one who got him a whole lot harder and better cause my hand has never gotten like this from punching someone. But I guess all the anger I had built up was let out on Kiba's face"
"Can we all promise ourselves something" Sighed Shikamaru.
We all asked what.
"If one of us is about to put hands on someone in a violent way, can it be somewhere NOT public?! We've had to deal with the police and now security all in the same damn month. I'm surprised no one went to jail when Kiba and Naruto fought! Like we're for damn sure not allowed back at that mall and our faces are probably gonna be recognized! Can we all promise?" said Shikamaru.
Everyone agreed.
"You shoud probably talk to Ino about that too" Said Gaara. "Shell definitely claw any bitch who pisses her off"
"How did Sai even know that security was coming down?" I asked.
"While we were following Neji back home I had the same question and he said Hanabi and him were by the entrance of the Toy store and had her look at some dolls while he watched what was happening. He said that he could hear all the F bombs and hostility from the store and even workers from inside were already calling security to come down and talk to us. He saw 6 of them coming towards the escalators and thats when he grabbed Hanabi and yelled at us that they were coming our way." Said Sasuke.
"Does Sakura know you're here?" Asked Shikamaru.
Sasuke shook his head. "No. But I'll head on over there in a minute"
"What I wanted to talk to you about-", Began Neji. "Is that tomorrow's Monday and we obviously have school correct? I want you to avoid Kiba as much as possible. I know we sometimes see him through the halls and we give a glance at him here and there, but even that's gonna have to stop. If he ever comes near you, get the hell away or always walk with me or someone. Preferably a guy. Hell, walk with Naruto at all times if you can. We have to let everyone know and keep everyone's cool all at the same time about this. But Hinata... let me know if he says or does something"
"That's if he even has the balls to come near any of us again" Said Sasuke sounding a bit annoyed. "I swear I wanted to keep going. Look at what he did to Gaara! I'm so fucking pissed right now!"
"Sasuke please", I said. "Take a deep breath and calm down. I'm mad too, but try not to think about it. He's gone forever. And Gaara's gonna be okay"
Sasuke and I both turned to look at Gaara who was clearly still in pain. Sasuke legitimately scooted closer to Gaara and gave him a hug.
"Why the hugs dude?" Said Gaara a bit stunned from Sasuke.
"It just really sucked seeing you get hit like that." He said Letting go.
GEE Neji must be feeling pretty awkward right now since he's punched Gaara before. I looked over at him and he was looking down at his shoes. Yup, he has the awkward feels.
"The important thing is that within a few days, that bruise is gonna be gone with the help of something cold. So keep putting ice on it." Said Shikamaru.
"I should get going." Sasuke stood up and put his phone in his pocket. "Sakura's been waiting and wanting to know about today."
"You told her?" I asked.
"Well I told her we saw Kiba and that some shit happened. I'm gonna tell her the rest right now and maybe see Naruto for a bit later on before it gets late and tell him too." He answered.
"I have a feeling Naruto's gonna be thrilled to hear about today." joked Shikamaru.
Sasuke opened the door to Neji's room, "Don't worry, I'll calm him down. Won't be easy, but he'll come around." He said. "So who's gonna walk me to the door?"
"I will." Said Shikamaru getting up as well. "I gotta get going. I gotta clean up my garage before my dad gets home from work and gets mad. What a drag."
"Make sure to ice your hand too Sasuke!" I said.
"Will do.", He smiled.
We said our goodbyes to them and Gaara, Neji and I talked a little more in Neji's room before we went downstairs to join my sister and my mom for cereal.
Naruto's POV
After dropping Hinata off, I went back home and cleaned up the box and bag of chips I had in my room. I went back upstairs and layed on my bed and looked at where Hinata layed with me. I rested my head on the pillow she used and took a deep breath.
It smelled like sweet lavender and vanilla. Why the hell do girls smell so pretty?!
I swear I want to make Hinata mine already. I want her so bad. I can't stop thinking about her. That smile is always on my mind, that cute laugh, her voice is so adorable. GOD! She's just perfect!
I honestly wish she was in my arms at this moment.
"Naruto?"
I peered over to my door and saw Abby sticking her head through.
"Yeah?" I said.
"Sasuke's at the door."
"Tell him to come up"
"Okay" She smiled.
A few seconds later my door swung open.
"What's up lover boy?" Greeted Sasuke closing the door behind him.
I sat up holding Hinata's pillow across my chest. "Hey."
"How was your day with Hinata?" He asked laying on the edge of my bed.
"Amazing dude. We ate pizza and chips and watched Netflix and cuddled."
"Aww! That's cu-"
"Dude what's up with your hand?" I noticed how red and a bit purple they were from half of his sleeve covering it.
Sasuke sighed and fully uncovered his sleeve and looked at me.
"What or who did you punch man?" I asked picking up his hand to get a better look.
"We saw Kiba today at the mall today." He said.
"We? Who the hell is we?"
"Me, Neji, Gaara, Shino, Shikamaru, Gaara and Hinata's little sister."
"What the hell? Give me details Sasuke!" I demanded.
And so he began to tell me from the very beginning starting from where Neji lost Hanabi for a split second and saw her with Kiba.
My anger began to rise as he told me how he got Gaara in the Jaw and how purple it is now.
Sasuke told me everything.
"And Neji's afraid that he might try and get near Hinata just like he got near Hanabi so he wants her to like walk with one of us guys and-"
"I'll be with her at all times. If this bitch thinks he's gonna get near her, he's dead wrong." I said getting up from my bed. I had to walk around to blow some steem.
"Dude calm down. I was mad as hell too but not like you are right now" Said Sasuke.
"I'm not mad" I mumbled.
"Your arms are all veiny and your clenching your fists. Not to mention you're taking really deep breaths. I've known you since like middle school. I think I can tell when you're pissed Uzumaki."
"You don't fucking understand!" I exclaimed. "If this had to do with Sakura, aka, the girl who you love, you'd be like how I am right now! Plus this dickwad hurt our friend! I think the poor guy's been punched in the face enough already! And what kind of creepy shit is that where he some how got Hanabi away from Neji and the rest and got the kid some ice cream alone with him!? I'm so fucking mad right now, I honestly just wanna drive to his house and beat his sorry ass!"
"Naruto we can't escalate anything anymore. If you see him tomorrow, you can't say or do anything to him. If he comes up to you, Hinata or anyone else in the group then that's totally different." Said Sasuke. "But for now, please don't make anything worse. Do it for Hinata. She seriously wouldn't want anymore drama. It's bad enough she's all stressed and mad at herself for not getting her memory back"
"Fine." I sighed. "It's not gonna be easy though."
