Before Naofumi knew it, he was stood before the king once again, along with his other three fellow heroes.

"Now, Heroes. I hope you rested well. I have procured several things to make your adventure easier. However, before that, can I ask whether any of you have decided to pair up?" The king questioned.

"Yeah! It'll be me and Naofumi in one party, whilst Ren and Itsuki are in another party." Motoyasu answered easily.

Aultcray looked between them, watching as each of them nodded their heads, agreeing with what Motoyasu had said.

"I see. Do you intend to stick around in Melromarc then?" He questioned.

"Me and Itsuki intend on leaving to sort out some stuff with other countries. Namely, getting some rare materials, but we will be coming back at some point." Ren answered the king's questions. Itsuki nodded along with him.

"Whilst they are doing that, me and Naofumi are gonna be sticking around here. There's some stuff we wanna do, plus we'll help in the wave, whenever that is." Motoyasu spoke with a smile.

"I understand. I appreciate your willingness to help, Sir Motoyasu, Sir Naofumi." Aultcray spoke politely. "As for you two, Sir Ren, Sir Itsuki. I have but one request for you, if you would hear me out?"

"Of course we will." Itsuki answered immediately.

"Sure." Ren answered with a nod.

"Thank you. I will ask that you do not visit Siltvelt. We are…" Aultcray leaned back, letting his fingers tap against the throne before continuing. "I would not say enemies, but there is certainly hostilities between our countries. As such, I cannot guarantee your safety as we are the ones who summoned you. They may choose to end your life and get someone who is loyal to themselves chosen as a hero."

Ren nodded his head, deep in thought as Itsuki frowned.

"That is not to even mention their relation with the Seven Star Claw. I fear for your safety, Sir Ren, especially if they discover that a human is wielding their favored Seven Star Weapon."

"I see. Then I suppose we should skip out on Siltvelt for now Itsuki." Ren spoke, his decision already made.

Itsuki's frown stayed on his face, but he nodded. "Yeah, maybe when we are stronger we can go visit them, but not whilst we are like this."

"Thank you Heroes. Now, whilst I would usually have gathered companions for the four of you, I believe two seven star heroes in a party should be more than enough for the time being. You can always recruit more people on your own after all."

"Yep! We will be fine." Motoyasu spoke with a smile, putting a hand around Naofumis shoulder.

"We should be fine as well. We already have a general strategy worked out." Ren spoke, nodding towards Itsuki.

"Fantastic. There are just two more things for us to discuss then, I suppose. That being some funding for the four of you, as well as the usage of a crystal ball. We will start with the funds first."

Aultcray raised his hand, and four people stepped in from the sides. Each was carrying a bag. They quickly made their way to each of the heroes present, handing the pouches to them quickly.

"Inside you'll find your funds. I should also mention that should you choose to stay and help deal with the waves, I can promise rewards for your assistance."

They all nodded their heads at that, and Naofumi took a quick look over at Ren and Itsuki. He expected to see some signs of annoyance, but he found none of it. Itsuki seemed like he agreed with it, whilst Ren seemed unbothered.

It made sense to Naofumi. They had opted to go visit Faubrey, even before they knew about this reward. But it wasn't like they couldn't turn up for later waves if they wanted to.

"Now, for the crystal balls. I'll be having each of you put your hand on a crystal ball. It has already been prepared and should be able to tell you what your affinities are. Who will be going first?"

No one moved, each looking at each other before Motoyasu stepped forth.

"Let's see what I get then!" He spoke with a grin.

He reached out, putting his hand on the orb, and Naofumi focused on it, waiting for something to happen.

"I see. Sir Motoyasu," The king's attendant spoke softly. "It seems as if your affinities are that of Fire and Healing."

"Sweet, offense and support capabilities! Means you don't have to worry about what you get Naofumi!"

Naofumi smiled back at Motoyasu, the Hammer Hero's excitement infecting him as well.

The same thing happened for Ren and Itsuki. Nothing appeared in the orb for Naofumi to see, but they were told their affinities. Water and Support for Ren, Wind and Earth for Itsuki. He wasn't sure if there was anything about a person that contributed to affinities, but it seemed like each affinity presented to the respective hero suited them, in an odd way.

Before he knew it, Naofumi was stood before the crystal ball. The advisor motioned for Naofumi to put his hand on the orb, and he did. He waited for a moment, and his eye focused on what seemed to be something inside the crystal ball.

Yet, before he could figure it out, his hand was removed as the advisor spoke. "It seems you are suited for Healing and Support, Sir Naofumi." The advisor spoke with a smile.

Naofumis smile faltered for a moment at that revelation. He wanted to be able to cast some sort of offensive magic, but here he was, stuck with purely non offensive affinities. Though, in a way, it did suit the gauntlets. Especially so since his stats were skewed towards defense.

"Thank you." Naofumi spoke politely before heading back to stand beside Motoyasu.

"I do apologize for not having crystal balls for you to all learn magic from right now. They are rather difficult and expensive to get on such short notice." Aultcray spoke, lowering his head for a moment. "However, from my own personal experience, it is better to learn the language so that you can read from grimoires rather than relying on crystal balls."

"It's fine! You've already given us plenty of help anyways, with funds and helping us figure out our affinities. I'm sure we can take it from here!" Motoyasu spoke with a grin.

Naofumi nodded, agreeing with the hammer hero whilst Ren looked away.

"...I wouldn't have been annoyed if we had gotten crystal balls…" He spoke to himself, his words going unheard by everyone else.

"I see." Aultcray spoke with a smile. "It is refreshing to see that the heroes are willing to put in the work where it is needed. I'm certain that you, along with the Cardinal Heroes, will be able to protect our world from these disasters." The king spoke approvingly.

"I won't hold you back anymore. Go and start your journey heroes. I wish you luck in your future endeavours!"

The group of four wandered out of the castle, wishing each other luck before they split off. Ren and Itsuki went further into the city, whilst Motoyasu and Naofumi stood by the castle gates.

"So," Motoyasu spoke with a small grin. "Suppose we should go visit that hourglass, huh? Better get everything sorted before we head to Lurolona."

"That sounds good. Did the King actually say where the hourglass was?" Motoyasu froze at that, refusing to turn and face Naofumi.

"How about we get some armor and all that first?" Motoyasu spoke after that moment, putting an arm around Naofumis shoulder. "Get ourselves some better weapons, some armor then we can find the hourglass, yeah?"

"You could have just admitted you didn't know where the hourglass wa-"

"None of that! Come on, let's go!" Motoyasu called out, cutting off Naofumi as he did.

He ended up getting the duo a couple of strange looks from the knights who stood guarding the entrance to the castle as they walked further into the city, with Motoyasu taking the lead.

It took the two a decent amount of walking, but Motoyasu was certain he remembered where a shop that sold decent beginners equipment was.

"If my knowledge is correct…" He spoke to himself before turning to face Naofumi. "This should be a pretty good starting place for us to get gear!"

"Are you sure?" Naofumi asked with a frown. "Do we actually have enough funds to get everything for the both of us?"

"I'm sure we do! Plus, we can probably cheap out on weapons a bit. Depending on how fast these things power up of course." He gestured to his hammer and Naofumis gauntlets.

"Well, if you're sure." Naofumi spoke, slowly opening the door.

The first thing he saw was weapons of all sorts hanging up on the walls. It was the exact thing Naofumi would have thought of when he thought of "Weapon Shop". Upon further inspection, it seemed like they also stocked other adventuring equipment, which was a good thing for both Motoyasu and Naofumi.

"Welcome." The shop owner spoke, waving a hand towards the two heroes.

Motoyasu and Naofumi both quickly entered the shop, looking around excitedly.

"Based on your reactions, I'm assuming this is your first time in a weapons shop, huh?" The man asked with a smile, getting a nod from Naofumi. "Well, you sure know how to pick them."

He looked at the two for a few moments longer before speaking once again. "Say, dont think ive ever seen clothing like that around here, nor from any other country. Except maybe Faubrey…" He spoke the last part to himself. "Where are you from?"

"Ah, well… we aren't from this world." Naofumi spoke nervously, his hand rubbing the back of his head.

"Not from this world…" The words took a few moments to sink in before his eyes widened. "Eh? You heroes or something?"

"Yep! I'm the hammer hero, Motoyasu Kitamura!" Motoyasu jumped in, a smile on his face. "Make sure you remember the name, alright?"

"Ha! I'll remember the name, provided you actually buy something." The old man grinned at the hammer hero. "And from the looks of it, your friends here is the Gauntlet hero, huh?"

"I am." Naofumi confirmed.

"Well then, suppose it would be good to introduce myself. Names Erhart." Erhart looked the both of them over, seeming to appraise them before speaking. "Neither of you really looks that strong…"

"Hey!" Motoyasu cried out, earning a grin from the owner.

"Just pulling your leg. Now, what are you here for? Armor, weapons?" He asked.

"Both of them." Motoyasu spoke with a nod. Do you sell any hammers as weapons? I wanna use this later,," He waved his hammer in the air before continuing. "When it's stronger, but I don't wanna get all that practice in with a spear or something before moving back to it."

"Hm, yeah that makes sense. Got some hammers over there, but before you go looking at them, have any idea what sort of armor you want?"

"I mean, I heard chainmail is pretty good?" Naofumi offered. "At least, it's the basic thing most people get…" He added on weakly.

"Chainmail is good for me, though I'm not really sure what the difference between all the different armor sets are. As long as it actually does its job, it's fine, right?"

"Well, you're not wrong…" The man spoke with a nod. "Though, I guess it depends on your preference. You're both at low levels at the moment, right?"

The duo nodded.

"Then, you are going to want something relatively cheap. Chainmail will certainly help you out for a bit, probably taking you to your high 20's, low 30's, but with you two being heroes, I imagine you'll probably be hunting some pretty tough monsters."

"Yeah, but I'm mainly relying on Motoyasu to guide me." Naofumi spoke with a nod.

"We are also planning on going to Lurolona, that's where the first wave struck, so we wanna see if there's any monsters left there to take care of."

"Going there for the monsters? Alright. Then how about this. I'll sell you both some cheap armor that will last for a bit, get you a couple of weapons each, then you go to Lurolona. Get any monster materials from there you can, as well as any monsters you think are interesting enough on the way back, and I'll make you both a custom set of armor, as well as buy back the chainmail I give you. At a reduced price, of course."

"Custom armor?" Motoyasu asked Erhart.

"Yeah, custom made. You'll need a few things other than just monster materials obviously, but I could pull it off for the both of you."

"Other things like what?" Naofumi asked curiously.

"Well, you would need some bronze and iron along with the monster materials. Bones also wouldn't be bad, but that can be done later."

"What's the benefits, compared to just buying normal armor?" Motoyasu cut in. "For all we know, you're just trying to get more money out of us."

"Ah, that's fair. Can't really blame you for being suspicious. Anyways, Custom armor vs store bought armor, lets see…"

Erhart began to explain the difference between the two sets.

For custom made armor, there was the issue that it was more expensive, but that was usually offset by being able to upgrade it as the person got stronger. They could also add enchantments to it with the use of bones, It was also more tailored to the person who was buying it.

For store bought, you could see the enchantments on the armor before purchasing, but it came with the downside of being much more difficult to improve upon. And even if it could be improved upon, it would only be a slight improvement.

By the end of the explanation, it was clear where both Motoyasu and Naofumi stood. Firmly on the side of custom armor, which Erhart seemed to approve of.

"Right. You said you are going to Lurolona, yeah?" He asked, getting nods from both heroes. "That's a short journey, if you are going there with no detours. Though for you two, you are probably gonna want to level up as much as possible for the wave. When is that again?"

"Well…" Motoyasu began slowly. "We aren't sure at the moment. We haven't visited the hourglass because…" He trailed off, clearly not wanting to admit it, so Naofumi did it for him.

"Motoyasu didn't ask where the dragon hourglass is kept, so we don't know where it is." He spoke plainly, earning a betrayed look from Motoyasu.

"Should have just led off with that!" he directed towards Motoyasu. "Hourglass is kept in the church. Large building, you won't miss it. Sure if you ask someone in there, they will take you to the hourglass. Now, let's get you two sorted. Chainmail for the both of you, unless you desperately want something else?"

Neither Motoyasu nor Naofumi wanted something else bad enough, instead happily agreeing to Erharts suggestion.

Before either knew it, they were equipped with their chainmail, already having handed their money over to the blacksmith. A set of weapons were laid out before them, more hammers than anything else.

"These are some pretty decent things for your level, and should last you a while, provided you don't get it destroyed somehow."

"We should be fine." Motoyasu waved him off. "As far as I remember, there's nothing super challenging near here, and it shouldn't take us long to get to Lurolona."

Naofumi nodded His head, trusting what Motoyasu had to say. He reached forward, picking up a sword.

He attempted to swing it, but a light shock made him drop the weapon.

"Hey! What are you doing?" Erhart shouted.

Warning: Heroes cannot wield weapons other than their assigned one with the intent to fight with it.

"I didn't mean to!" Naofumi spoke quickly. "I didn't expect my weapon to shock me!"

"Shock you?" Erhart questioned.

"Yeah, it says I can't use weapons other than my assigned one." He spoke with a frown.

Erhart looked at his gauntlets for a moment before nodding.

"I see. Mind if I take a look at them? Don't get the chance to inspect things like this often."

Naofumi nodded, putting his hand, and by extension gauntlets, on the table. Erhart looked over the gauntlets for a moment, getting Naofumi to shift his hand so he could get a good look.

After a few more moments, he murmured something under his breath, and a small orb of light shot towards the gem of his gauntlets. It hit the gem before bouncing off, and Erhart let out a noise.

"Huh. Yeah, I can't figure out anything about them. Absolutely nothing." Erhart confirmed.

Whilst that was happening, Motoyasu had reached towards one of the hammers Erhart had laid out. He did trust Naofumi when he said that his weapon shocked him, but he wanted to make sure, even if it meant getting shocked himself.

However, that didn't end up happening.

"Weapon… copy?" Motoyasu spoke in surprise.

He reached out for another hammer, a grin growing on his face as he reached for another one of the hammers, successfully copying it as well.

Naofumi noticed Motoyasu reaching for another hammer, and spoke up.

"What are you doing? You know we can't use other weapons."

"I know, I know! You said that already, but I can copy them apparently." Motoyasu responded, taking another hammer.

"What do you mean copy them? I worked hard on those!" Erhart called out.

Motoyasu immediately backed up, hands raised. "I didn't mean to! It just kinda happened. I touched a hammer, and it just told me it was copying stuff! The weapons are showing up in my menu, but I can't swap to them."

"Can you copy only hammers?" Naofumi questioned, earning a shrug from Motoyasu.

"Seems like it. I mean, I am the hammer hero. Do you think…" Motoyasu trailed off, but Naofumi seemed to understand.

"Probably? Do you have any gauntlets?" Naofumi asked Erhart, trying to change the subject.

"Why, so you can copy them as well? I spent a good chunk of time making all this stuff!"

"But you aren't losing anything!" Motoyasu responded quickly. 'It's not like us copying them makes them worse in any way!"

"I…You…" Erhart groaned in frustration, putting his head on the counter. "Fine! Just… I don't know, copy whatever."

Motoyasu and Naofumi looked at each other for a moment, both hesitating before Naofumi spoke up.

"Are you sure?"

"Do it before I change my mind!" Erhart snapped, and that was enough to kick both the heroes into action.

They ran around in a rush, copying whatever their weapon let them. By the end of it, they had a lot more weapon forms to choose from, but neither of them could swap to them due to being level locked.

"Thanks man!" Motoyasu called out. "These weapon forms are all gonna be great once we can actually use them."

"Definitely. We aren't gonna forget this." Naofumi added.

Erhart, who had at some point during the mad rush around his shop pulled himself back together, sighed. "You better not. Use this stuff to stop the waves, yeah? And make sure you come back to get your custom armor done!"

"Sure, with everything you laid out here? I'm definitely gonna be coming back to you for upgrades." Came the response from Motoyasu, a wide grin on his face.

"Same here. Actually…" Naofumi paused for a moment, considering something. "Would you do commissions?"

"Commissions? What for?" Erhart asked curiously.

"Weapons for us to copy. We supply you the materials and all that, we get to copy them and then you sell them."

"That's a good idea. We could do that in preparation for places we are going to go!" Motoyasu exclaimed.

"Exactly. So how do you feel about that?" Naofumi asked Erhart, leaning forward slightly.

Erhart rubbed his chin, thinking it over. To him, it seemed like a good idea. On top of being able to sell the weapons he would be making for the heroes, he would get to experiment with some pretty unique materials.

The moment thoughts of different types of gauntlets and hammers crossed his mind, he knew it was no use resisting.

"Sounds good to me. As long as you both supply the materials, I'll be happy to do it. If you want, I could probably sort out a list of interesting materials or monster parts for you to look into."

"That would be helpful." Naofumi spoke with a nod, and the both of them shook hands, sealing the deal.

"Glad to hear that kid." Erhart spoke with a grin. "Now, do you think other heroes can do this sort of stuff, or is it just you two specific?"

"I don't see a reason why we would be special." Motoyasu spoke with a shrug. "Ren and Itsuki could probably do this, and the Cardinal heroes probably can as well."

Erhart nodded his head at that. "Did you hear anything about a cardinal hero being summoned here?"

"Yeah. Apparently they are going to attempt to summon the Spear Hero in a week's time." Naofumi offered.

Erhart let out a sigh. "Right, so they are probably going to be looking for stuff to copy as well."

"Maybe. It wasn't in my help menu when I read through it last night, so it might be something they have to discover on their own." Motoyasu responded again

"Well, couldn't you two tell them? I mean, going to Lurolona isn't going to take that long." Erhart pointed out.

"You're right, but we also want to explore a bit after that. Try and get a bit stronger before the wave and everything, like we mentioned before." Naofumi answered in Motoyasus place. "I mean, this place is one of the best in the capital, so they should probably be guided here to be geared up, and you can tell them then."

Erhart let out another sigh, but accepted Naofumis reasoning.

"Fine, fine. If I see the Spear Hero after they are summoned, I'll pass it on. I'll probably offer them the same as what I'm doing for you two, custom weapons and all that."

Naofumi and Motoyasu accepted that easily before they turned to other matters.

After finishing everything up with Erhart, with promises to return after coming back from Lurolona, they headed towards the church.

Once they showed their weapons to the nun who greeted them, she took them to the upper floors of the church and immediately to the hourglass.

She gave them a quick rundown on how the legends said the heroes registered to the hourglasses. It was a simple process of stepping forward and raising their weapons towards the hourglass.

The rest sorted itself out, and they quickly found themselves registered to the hourglass.

"40 days… That gives us more than enough time to prepare." Motoyasu spoke with a grin. "I'm sure we can get to level 40 with no issues."

"With all those spots for leveling you know, right?"

"Yep. Though we should probably start grinding soon, huh. I wonder how Ren and Itsuki are doing."

"Knowing them? They probably already grinded up a few levels and got a ride further out. They seemed like they wanted to get to Faubrey as soon as possible."

"Faubrey… Oh, yeah, I remember now. It's a place that has pretty good weapons in Emerald Online. Think they know about weapon copy?" Motoyasu asked.

"Maybe? I mean, Erhart probably would have mentioned it if they had come by before us, so probably not, now that I think about it." Naofumi responded.

"Yeah. Well, that's something else we can tell them we figured out when we meet up again." Motoyasu spoke cheerfully.

"Heroes? Have you linked to the hourglass successfully?" The nun who led them here stepped forward, stopping their conversation.

"Yeah, we have. Thanks for showing us the way. Probably would have taken us a while to find it." Motoyasu gave the nun a smile.

"It is no problem Hammer Hero." The nun spoke, bowing slightly. "The Pope has a gift for you, if you are willing to accept it." She produced two small bags from her side, holding them out to both hero's.

"The Pope said that the contents of these bags should prove most useful to you, according to documents held in our church."

Naofumi and Motoyasu looked at each other for a moment before reaching out for the bags. They quickly absorbed them, unlocking a new weapon form in the process.

Dragon Hourglass Sand Gauntlets Conditions Met

Naofumi tried to equip the new weapon form, but much like the gauntlets he had copied earlier, he couldn't equip them or look at its stats. Looking over to Motoyasu, it looked like he had the same issue, and he was confused.

"I guess it's a level thing? We need to be at a higher level to actually see what it unlocked?" Motoyasu suggested.

It made sense to Naofumi, he just hoped it wasn't a ridiculously high level to unlock them.

"Anyways. Could you tell the Pope that we appreciate the gift? It will definitely come in useful for the future, I'm sure!" He spoke with a smile.

"Of course." The nun spoke, bowing slightly. "Please take care, heroes."

Once they were done with their visit to the church, Motoyasu practically dragged Naofumi out to the fields surrounding the capital.

"So, why were you dragging me here?" Naofumi asked Motoyasu.

"Well, we might as well start leveling up a bit right? We can catch a ride to Lurolona a bit later when we have got a few levels."

"Is there even going to be anyone going to Lurolona after a wave hit it?" Naofumi questioned.

"I'm sure someone will. And if not, we just flaunt our status as heroes a little bit and spend a bit of money." Motoyasu waved off Naofumis concern with a smile. "Now come on, there's a mob right there!"

Naofumi turned to where Motoyasu was pointing, noticing a small, orange balloon bouncing towards them.

"Is that really a monster?" Naofumi asked.

"Yep." Motoyasu took a step forward, meeting the balloon halfway to them and letting his hammer swing up to hit the balloon mid bounce.

It popped immediately, leaving a few orange scraps to float down to the floor from where the balloon previously was.

"See the experience pop up?" Motoyasu asked with a smile, only to earn a confused look from Naofumi.

"Experience pop up?"

"Ah, right. I forgot to invite you to my party! That's my bad. Let me just…"

Motoyasu trailed off, and then Naofumi had an invite to Motoyasus party. He accepted it immediately, and he spotted Motoyasus name below his in the corner of his vision.

"Huh, so if you kill something, I'll get experience for it as well?"

"Yeah, and the same for if you kill something. Try it with that one."

Another Balloon was bouncing towards them, and Naofumi did what Motoyasu had, meeting it halfway.

The balloon bounced up, and Naofumi punched it, sending it backwards. It rolled on the spot for a moment, seemingly confused before repeating the action again. Naofumi did so as well, and with the second hit, the balloon popped into more orange scraps.

A notification popped up, telling him he had gained one experience point for killing the monster, and he turned to Motoyasu.

"one point?"

"It's a starting area, what do you expect? Once we have a few skills and a decent weapon form, we can head out to stronger areas. I wanna reach level five before we head to Lurolona."

"Level five, huh? That's going to be a lot of balloons."

"It's not going to be that bad, especially if we both get to work." Motoyasu spoke with a grin.

"What are we going to do with these scraps though?" Naofumi questioned, picking one of the orange balloon scraps up.

"Not sure. Maybe we can sell them for something? Probably not worth that- Hey, why's your gem glowing?" Motoyasu changed the conversation, pointing towards the gem in his gauntlet.

Naofumi looked down, watching the gem glow with a curious expression. The only thing he had done differently was hold the scrap near it. He raised the scrap, watching as the gems glow dimmed before lowering it again.

He repeated it a couple more times before letting the scrap make contact with the gem, and it quickly got absorbed.

"Huh, it opened up a new pair of gauntlets, but it doesn't look like it was enough to fully unlock them." Naofumi spoke out loud.

"Try absorbing mine then." He handed off his own balloon scraps, which Naofumi quickly absorbed.

Orange Balloon Gauntlets Conditions Met

Despite the conditions being met, he still couldn't swap to them, much like the weapons he had copied from Erhart.

"Yeah, you just need to absorb a few of them." Naofumi commented.

"Well then, let's get to it! No stopping until we reach level five, you hear?" Motoyasu spoke with a smile.

"Yeah yeah." Naofumi spoke, playfully rolling his eyes, following after Motoyasu as he charged after some more balloons.

"Your holiness." The nun spoke softly to a person before her.

"Rise, please. There is no need for you to bow before me. Tell me, did the Heroes accept the gift?" He asked.

"They did. Specifically, the Hammer and Gauntlet heroes."

"Ah, so the shadow was right. I presume the Claw and Projectile have left to Faubrey, as they mentioned previously?" Balmus pressed on.

"They did, from what I managed to hear from the heroes' conversations. Are you sure it was wise to give them the sand?" She questioned the Pope hesitantly.

"A shame that we could not get to the Claw and Projectile earlier. Regardless, it will annoy those beasts that the Seven Star Claw is in the hands of a human." The pope sighed, shaking his head. "As for the sand, it matters not. We know how to prevent them from using it. It was merely a gift, to let them see us in a better light."

The pope hummed before speaking again. "What of the knights loyal to us? Have they set off to Lurolona to deal with the remaining inhabitants?"

The nun frowned at that before speaking. "The knights are all prepared, but it seems they have run into a small issue. The Filolials they are using have…escaped."

"Escaped?" The Pope asked curiously before shaking his head. "I see. There is not much we can do about that I suppose. How soon will other means of transportation be sorted?"

"It should not be long. The captain of the group is already getting some Knight Dragons from the stables. He just needs to explain the situation. He has assured me that they should be gone by tonight at the latest."

"I see. Thank you for the information. Now, if you will excuse me…"

The nun, seeing it for the clear dismissal that it was, bowed once more before turning and leaving the Pope.

Woo, another chapter, and more progress being made.

Moto and Nao learning about weapon copy pretty early on and the church being shady as usual. No surprises there.

Unfortunate that they didn't get the staff method from Aultcray, but then again, it wouldn't really do them any good at the moment. Maybe that can be sorted later, when they actually learn about the other seven star weapons and learn some magic for themselves.

Thanks for the support on the first chapter, glad people seem to be actually enjoying it, and I hope you continue to do so. Until next time.
