Surviving the Test of Powerful Souls
"Wow, you all look super cool, and that girl is even green and tiny!" Yachiru looked at the eight new souls in the Soul Society and pointed at Rebecca calling her tiny.
"Who the fuck are you calling tiny, you shitty cherry head! Why don't you come down from the big idiot and we'll see which of us is really tiny!" Rebecca was angered by being called tiny.
"Take it easy, Rebecca! I'm sure she didn't mean to insult you in a way." Desumi tried to calm her little green friend down.
"All of you be careful, I can feel something strong and dangerous about this guy that is sending shivers down my spine." Ryofu glared at the weirded spiky hair man with the eyepatch.
"Yes, I can feel that dangerous aura too. It's like when I fought against the Novas back in my old world." Rana readied herself with her fists.
"Hold on, let's not do anything yet. Maybe he's one of those Soul Reapers the Soul King told us to come and find." Izuku said, hoping to settle things in peace without a fight breaking out.
"Sir, please stand down. We don't mean you nor this world any harm, we are just here to meet with the Soul Reapers." Izuku said calmly.
"You're looking at one, a Soul Reaper Captain to be exact and today is my lucky day." Kenpachi grinned.
"I don't feel lucky myself." Hapu gulped and her legs are shaking in fear.
"You see, I've been informed by the Head-Captain that we're getting some new fighters to train with and were picked by the Soul King himself." Kenpachi explained.
"Yes, that's us." Izuku nodded slowly, now feeling extra worry.
"I got pretty excited to meet you guys that the Soul King himself got you to come here, which means you guys must be pretty strong!" Kenpachi believed.
"Well, we are strong in our own way and from each our own world." Rana said.
"Rana, I don't that was wise to tell him that." Hapu worried some more.
"That just gives me all the more reason to fight you and see just how strong you guys are, that got the Soul King's attention like that!" Kenpachi raised his sword toward the sky and grins widely.
"Everyone, move!" Izuku shouted.
Kenpachi swings down his sword with one hand that sends a powerful shockwave causing the ground to shake and to split a little wide.
"Did this guy just split the ground in half?" Rebecca asked shock.
"I don't think I can see the bottom!" Desumi was shocked as well when she looks down at the hole.
"Hey Kenny, some of these girls have skull masks on them. Haven't we heard about certain beings with skull masks?" Yachiru pointed out as she looks at each of them.
"Really? Now this just got a whole lot more interesting!" Kenpachi laughed a little.
"I guess you guys wanna know my name. I'm Kenpachi Zaraki, Captain of Squad 11 of the 13 Court Guard Squad, and I'm going to enjoy this fight!" Kenpachi jumped at Ryofu.
"Shit!" Ryofu gasped, seeing him in front of her so fast.
Kenpachi swings his sword to cut the girl in half only for Ryofu to blitzes over the sword and right next to his head.
"(This guy is not only strong, but he's fucking fast too. I was barely able to react even when I saw him coming for me.)" Ryofu thought scared of this guy's power.
"(And the way this guy attacks is like he aims to kill us on the spot!)" Ryofu thought noticed that too.
"(If this guy wants to fuck with us then I'm show him why you don't fuck with this fighter!)" Ryofu thought threw one thrust kick to the head. The impact from the kick causes a small shockwave.
"Wow, that wasn't a bad kick from you." Kenpachi grinned, the kick was barely felt there but it was good enough to make him acknowledge it.
"That barely did anything to him!" Ryou was shocked.
She saw that Kenpachi is going to swing his sword again up towards her and her eyes went down to her waist, she just remembers that she has a sword of her own and quickly took it out to block the attack and moves away though the strength of his attack still sends her flying.
"Hold on, are you really going to fight us even though we're supposed to be allies?" Izuku asked.
"If you really want me to see you as such, then proves to me by fighting!" Kenpachi charged at Izuku.
Izuku reacted on instinct by grabbing his sword and held it to withstand the mighty strength of the Zaraki man, but he is only able to withstand his strength for about ten seconds before getting push back a wall.
Fubuki then appears in front of Kenpachi with a swift cross slash at the chest, but nothing happen except for his shirt got a cross cut hole on it.
"Not a single scratch." Fubuki was surprised.
"Huh, looks like your sword isn't sharp enough to cut me. And here I was expecting something from you lots." Kenpachi sounded disappointed in Fubuki's attack.
"Izuku, are you alright?" Hapu asked, running up to him.
"Yeah, but this guy is really strong and he's serious about fighting us. We have no choice but to respond to that." Izuku said as he got himself back up.
"Let see how you like this!" Desumi charged with her sword ready.
"I shall offer my assistance to you as well." Rana ran next to Desumi.
Rana and Desumi jump at Kenpachi with the latter of the two throws a punch in the stomach and Desumi swing her sword down on the shoulder, but neither attack have barely made Kenpachi flinch and Desumi's sword couldn't even pierce his flesh at all.
"What the Hell is that guy made of?" Desumi gasped.
"It is like he turned his body harder than steel!" Rana felt shocked that her punch did nothing to him.
"Not bad, both of you are quite strong just like the others though it looks like your sword isn't impressive me like the other woman." Kenpachi commented.
"Looks like you girls will need a hard lesson on how to make yourself sharper with the blade." Kenpachi swinged down his sword at Rana making a cut between her Rana.
Rana was able to jump back just enough to take less damage, but she gasps in pain and Kenpachi grabs Desumi by the leg to swing her around before slamming her down onto Rana.
"Hapu, I hope I'm not asking you a lot, but I need you and the girls to keep Kenpachi busy. I'm gonna try something." Izuku said.
"Whatever you need, we're with you." Hapu nodded.
"You mind telling what the plan is first?" Rebecca asked as she runs up to them.
"Alright, I think I'm gonna fight the boy next. He seemed strong to withstand by attack for a moment, now I see more of that." Kenpachi looked toward Izuku sending shivers down the boy's spine.
"Captain Zaraki! Stop!" Toshiro called out as he and the other members of the search team arrive.
"More Soul Reapers?" Desumi was surprised to see other people wearing similar clothes as Kenpachi.
"Hey now, you better not interrupt my fun here." Kenpachi turned to the other Soul Reapers.
"I was just testing them out though some of them aren't that impressive." Kenpachi explained a bit.
"Shut your fucking mouth! If we had the stuff we used to have back then, we'd be kicking your ass!" Rebecca yelled angrily.
"(I believe she is referring to their former home world.)" Retsu thought guessed.
"That one sure could use some anger management." Rangiku commented on the green girl.
But then she notices the skull mask feature on her head and looks at the other new souls as three others also have the skull mask features.
"Captain, do you also see the skull mask?" Rangiku asked.
"I do, it would appear the new souls the Soul King sent us are Arrancars as well." Toshiro crossed his arms.
"Wait a minute, Arrancars? But why would the Soul King bring them here to the Soul Society?" Isane asked in shock and shaking in fear.
"I do not know, but I want to believe that the Soul King must have his reason to have send a few Arrancars here." Retsu said, sensing they're not bad unlike the others she heard of.
"What are they talking about?" Hapu asked, having no idea about this Arrancar thing.
"Maybe it's the ones with the skull masks like yours are called." Izuku pointed out.
"While I don't wish to question the Soul King, I don't trust you all in the slightest." Soifon glared at the Arrancars.
"You better prove your worth or if you show any intent on destroying the Soul Society then I will not hesitate to destroy you." Soifon warned.
"I promise we're not here to cause any harm. We only met each other not too long ago, but I can promise you that we are here to help." Izuku said strongly and calmly, sounding honest.
"(This one seems to be calm and knows not to cause a scene, even showing honesty and trust to those women he said he just met. Guess that goes well with the strong Spiritual power I've been sensing from him.)" Toshiro thought sensed something about Izuku that feels trustful.
"Now, how about we take you to the Seireitei and we can get you settle in." Restu suggested.
"Sure, as long as Miss Bee here keeps her cool." Rebecca pointed her thumb at Soifon.
"Did you just call me a bee?" Soifon asked, feeling a bit angry.
"Yeah, I don't know why, but you just look like a damn bumblebee with an annoying buzzing sound that I would walk away." Rebecca shrugged.
"Rebecca, stop!" Hapu begged.
"Hold on, I never even got the chance to show that Kenpachi guy how strong I am!" Sophia complained.
"Are you serious right now?" Hapu gasped.
Soifon couldn't help but feel angry from that little green Arrancar that dares to call her a little bee while having no idea on what she is capable of. So, she might as well show her.
"In that case, I think I'll show you, Captain Zaraki, on testing the eight souls the Soul King seleted." Soifon stepped forward.
"Yeah, Soify is gonna play!" Yachiru cheered.
"Damn it, Soifon! I was hoping you would take our mission seriously." Toshiro cursed.
"So, we're gonna fight them?" Isane asked, feeling very confused with how the situation just turned like this.
"If we are going to train them, then they should at least know the strength of the Soul Reaper, especially the strength of a Captain." Soifon stated.
"Come on, we were already having trouble with that guy!" Desumi pointed at Kenpachi.
Soifon glares at Rebecca for a second and then vanished causing the green girl to freak out a little, but in reality, Soifon just moved so fast that she is unseen and goes in to kick her down to the ground only for her kick to be hit by Ryofu to make the kick misfire with her own.
"(She redirected my kick with my own!)" Soifon thought gasped.
"Sorry, but I don't like it when someone bullies my friends." Ryofu said.
Ryofu moved fast again to throw another kick at Soifon's face as she moves back the dodge the kick though she could feel the strong wind from it, but Ryofu wasn't don't as she goes in to strike a few times with her fists that Soifon is able to block and parry though one attack Ryofu was able to leave one little graze on her cheek.
"It would seem you're quite skilled. You trained in martial arts from your world." Soifon saw that this girl is very skilled in combat.
"I am, one of the best though I would've been the strongest if I wasn't infected by a stupid illness. But something tells me that won't be a problem here." Ryofu smirked.
"My turn!" Sophia jumped high with her sword above her head, and she goes down for Retsu.
"Oh my, it looks like I'm fighting." Retsu said and unsheathe her sword to block Sophia's attack though the impact forces her to bend her knees down.
"Goodness, you have incredible strength." Retsu was surprised to feel this kind of strength from this girl.
"Believe or not, I'm the reincarnation of a warrior whose strength was so great that there was no weapon that could withstand the strength." Sophia explained.
"I can see that, but you will need more than strength to win a fight." Retsu said as she jumps back, letting Sophia's sword hit the ground.
"Bakudō #63. Sajō Sabaku!" Retsu casted a Kido spell that summon chains to wrap around Sophia.
"Do you think that'll stop me?" Sophia said as she struggles a bit with the chains, but she was able to break free.
"Oh, everyone looks like they're having fun." Yachiru commented.
"Really? Then maybe you should join the fun!" Rebecca leaped toward the little pink hair girl and threw a punch right in the head.
"Rebecca!" Izuku gasped.
"What? The kid is a Soul Reaper like her big friend, so I'm sure she's fine." Rebecca shrugged.
"Wow! That punch was amazing! You really are strong!" Yachiru smiled happily and jumped with joy. It was like the punch didn't even hurt her.
"Now it's my turn!" Yachiru hopped close to Rebecca and gave her a strong push that send Rebecca crashing through three of houses.
"(Wow, she's really strong!)" Hapu thought was amazed.
"And now you!" Yachiru looked toward Hapu.
"No, wait!" Hapu tried desperately to move away, but she ended up moving faster than she realize and crash into a building and a tree.
"Hapu! Are you okay?" Rana called out.
"Yeah, just don't know what happened? It's like I was moving crazy fast!" Hapu answered.
"(Oh, I just remember they are the souls from different worlds. The four have recently become Arrancars, so they are not aware of the power they possess.)" Toshiro thought realized.
Toshiro senses an attack coming at him and slash it with his sword seeing that it's an ice attack, he then looks to the young woman with long black hair.
"I hope you don't mind, but I sense that you also have the power of ice. So, I wish to see how strong your ice is compared to mine." Fubuki explained.
"What bothersome, might as well." Toshiro said as he gets into a stance.
Both Toshiro and Fubuki stare at each other for a moment until they clash their blades causing an icy wind shockwave, Toshiro is surprised that this girl is well use with the cold similar to his way.
"Take this!" Desumi jumped at Rangiku who blocks her attacks with her sword.
"Since when did I become a training dummy?" Rangiku asked shock and moves around quickly to confuse Desumi before kicking her in the back.
Rana teams up with Ryofu against Soifon who manages to defend herself well against the two though she can tell that these two are very strong fighters, and she can feel they have experiences in many battles. Then she increases her speed to blitz past the two, striking them a dozen times each though it would seem they were able to react to defend against that.
"Oh my, it's like she can use Accelerate!" Rana was shocked.
"You… Little shit…" Rebecca groaned as she gets back up.
"Come on, come on, show me more of your strength!" Kenpachi laughed while fighting Izuku and Desumi, pushing them back while they struggle to keep their defense up.
Izuku isn't used to fighting with a sword when his hero career was all about fighting with his fists, but he has to adjust and start parrying Kenpachi's attacks while feeling something strange the more he fights with his sword.
"Bakudō #61. Rikujōkōrō!" Retsu unleashed another Kido spell on Sophia and this time, she can't move at all.
"I am now…" Rebecca growled though doesn't realize the inside of her mouth is glowing.
"MAD!" Rebecca unleashed a powerful energy blast from her mouth, and it was going toward Toshiro and Fubuki while still fighting.
"No!" Hapu jumped in and throw one strong kick to knock it far away where a big explosion erupts.
Izuku can see that was something else and something tells him he and the girls are about to learn more, he put his sword away much to Kenpachi's confusion.
"Sir, I believe that's enough of the fight. You all seen how strong we are and how we're still new to these swords and the power we have, I hope that's enough for you all." Izuku said calmly.
"I agree, we should be going before things get out of hand." Retsu nodded.
"And just when things were starting to get fun." Kenpachi was annoyed that the battle is over this soon.
"Looks like we were able to make a good impression on them." Ryofu believed.
"Yes, next is the hard part." Izuku said, knowing that things will get hard for them from now on when it comes to training.

Izuku and the girls ended up fighting Kenpachi and the other Soul Reaper Captains which was not easy for the newcomers despite them having battle experience though some different from each other, and now they will be taken to where the Soul Reaper live, and their training can begin.
