The Forsworn army al looked to see where the horn was coming from. They assumed it was the Thalmor but this was an odd way of showing their presence.

"The elves must not of liked our plan, prepare to fight." Casix yelled as he heard the trumpet.

Casix mounted his own horse and looked down the main road and saw what appeared to be a few dozen men on horseback charging towards the city.

He stared to laugh.

"Archers to the entrance. We'll stop this problem before it begins. "

Around fifty archers lined up near the entrance and drew their arrows and awaited their instructions to fire. The trumpet continued to blare getting louder and louder as they approached.

They were finally now past the stables and almost the entrance so Casix could get a good look at them. In the middle of the Calvary was a very large Nordic man with a long braided beard. He had armor made of Dragon bones and lined with silver. He had a shield with a symbol of a dragon on it. All but three of them were wearing armor with the same dragon crest on the chest pieces. The remaining three were wearing imperial armor.

"Dovahkin!" Casix said under his breath.

"Fire!" He yelled.

All the archers fired at once sending a wave of death towards the Dragon born and his Acolytes.

VEN(wind) GOAR(unleash) NOS(strike)!"

They heard him shout as a strong tornado dropped from the sky and ran across the front line of archers. Trapping many of them in the cyclone and throwing them and the arrows they shot scattered in all directions. The forsworn army began to panic and started to run back away from the entrance as they saw this unheard of display of power eat through their front line archers.

Trish used the distraction to grab Aratore's bow and her clothes and make him stand up. She threw his arm over his shoulder to help him get out the street as walking was now a painful endeavor for him.

The Acolytes all charged the city behind them and headed straight for the forsworn and pulled their weapons from atop their horses.

"TIID(time) KLO(sand) UI(eternity)" Jorgenson shouted.

Time nearly froze to a standstill for anyone in the city besides Jorgenson and his men. They had all their senses but any movement was so slow it was as if they were frozen. Jorgenson unsheathed his Silver sword and swung at the nearest forsworn and in one swoop decapitated him. In the stand still of time the head just floated in the air above his neck. He swung at the next man and removed his arm, which floated in time same as the prior man's head.

The Acolytes all continued to slaughter the defenseless and time trapped forsworn as they were all dismembered from their heads and limbs one at a time. The shout suddenly wore off and time resumed as normal as one third of the Forsworn army fell and the floating body parts all hit the ground with a large splat.

As soon as time resumed the carriage holding Vhornyak took off as fast as it possibly could before Jorgensen could see them. A wise move as letting him see their cargo would have undesireable consequences.

"Shield!" Casix hollered.

The Forsworn all started retreating behind the chained up citizens to create a human shield between them and the Acolytes.

Jorgenson finally noticed Casix sitting on his horse rising above his army. He also noticed dozens more men starting to surround them from in between buildings and even more archers appear from rooftops. He noticed they weren't wearing the same armor as the forsworn army and appeared to be bandits. Most importantly, they didn't have bows and weapons drawn towards him and his men but to the innocent people chained up being used as a shield.

Casix pushed his horse through his own army until he got to the wall of citizens

"I had to expand my recruitment a bit. I'm sure you've heard I'm quite the unifier." He said with a smirk.

Jorgensen just glared at him.

"This city and this hold are mine, dragon." Casix said to him

"Under what authority? The Thalmor can't uphold that promise." Jorgensen finally spoke to him.

"Thalmor? Do you see any elves standing at my side like your Imperial Rulers? I took it under the authority of force. Something my people learned from you Nords. You are welcome to challenge that authority in own likeness.

It might not go so well for all these people between however. Collateral damage never meant much to you though did it? Sure didn't mean much to your protégé's.

Now that I've seen the power of your shouts I have no doubt you can defeat my army. You can have your victory to stand on the ashes of Winterhold and the blood of everyone here. What will it be, mighty Dragon? Will you kill all these people to save them?"He asked

With the distraction of the conversation Trish tried again to untie Aratore's hand but succumbed to frustration not being strong enough to remove the knots. His hands were now turning purple from the restriction they were causing.

"This is our chance. Let's go." They heard whispered from behind them.

They turned to see Malfor as he pulled a dagger and cut through the bindings on Aratore's hands.

"Quickly, now, I can take you to your people."

He said as he grabbed each of their arms

To help them off the ground

Jorgenson could see Casix Briarheart beating faster and his constant fidgeting on his horse. He was afraid of him.

He looked around at the crowd of people. He was very concerned about how he didn't see any signs of Travius and Vhornyak and their family. Matter of fact he didn't see a single guard

"Where are they? Where is the Thane?"

He asked

"They failed to protect." Casix said

"And the rest of the household.?" Jorgensen asked

"The Bosmer will be a great slave. Your kin will be a spoil to my men. I've already enjoyed the warmth of the imperials wife, she'll meet my needs until I'm bored with her."

Casix said hoping to get a rash reaction from Jorgensen and seemed slightly annoyed at his calm presence.

Jorgensen developed a smug smirk. "Her warmth huh?" He said

He was now able to ignore his powers as the Dragonborn and rely on his training as a healer, a master of the human body. He noticed the heavy heartbeat, he saw the trembling of Casix body. He could see the armor on his stomach covering his exposed heart had been damaged and a trail of dried blood trailing from it, indicating it had been the target of an attack. Casix was injured and afraid, most importantly he was lying.

"I think you're lying boy. You tattoo your kills on your skin and have armor made from human bones. If you killed someone's as prolific as them you'd have their bodies displayed. So where are they?"

"Bring me the Orc!" Casix hollered and all his army cheered.

He looked at Jorgensen with his own smug smirk and then looked towards where the carriage was and it saw it was gone. He looked around and realized none of the Militia was around anymore. They had had clearly all bailed when the Dragonborn had showed up.

"The Bosmer, now!" He barked and again looked towards the log and saw no one.

Jorgenson opened his mouth and Casix could see what seemed to be embers form in his throat. He opened his mouth even wider and a large cone of sweltering flame shot from his mouth over the heads of the hostages and ended less than foot from Casix face.

Casix did his best to maintain his composure and remain stoic as the flame crackled and burned next to his face. He knew he would have been dead if the Dragonborn had chosen. He was being sent a message.

"You haven't begun to see my might, boy." Jorgensen said to him threateningly.

"You have twenty four hours to produce the bodies or I come back to find them.

Your human shield won't be here forever."

"Neither will you, old man." Casix said and then he rode his horse towards The Thane's home.

Jorgenson turned back to his men and they all out of the city.

"Let's set up camp. Make sure he can see it, he's scared and it will drive him to do some foolish eventually." He told them all.

He then asked the Penitus Oculatus agents who had come with him.

"Do you think you three can infiltrate the city and have us some eyes inside?"

"I don't think we'll need to" Demetri responded, he then nodded to Malfor who was waiting for them just passed the stables.
