Okay, so normally I don't do this but it's been forever so I figure what the heck, it'll be a double update. Have fun!

mrxavier123dr: No, because I don't see the point. I highly doubt I'm going to use much of anything from the 100 years quest story here.

Enel didn't even blink at the weapons aimed his way, only laughing. Despite that, anger flashed in his eyes ''My, such insolence! I thought I'd made it clear that my power surpassed yours by far but it seems I need to reinforce the lesson. I suppose the three of you will simply have to be the first here to feel the wrath of God.''

Chopper realized he was referring to Zoro, Wyper and Gan Fall ''He's just leaving us out...?''

''For now, you mean.'' Miguel was watching the 'God' warily. ''The only difference is that we 'lost' his ridiculous game.''

Usopp blanched ''What're you doing? Don't piss him off!''

''What does that matter? It's not like he'd just let us leave.''

The sniper had to concede the point. Enel was really just dragging things around for his own sick amusement but they definitely weren't just going to get off scot free.

''Are you afraid, long nosed mortal?'' Enel sneered. ''Good, you should be. It's about time one of you knows their place. As for the rest of you, you'll learn to fear my true power soon-my plan is very close to fruition.''

Zoro didn't like this ''Plan...?''

Gan Fall's grip on his lance tightened ''He's referring to the destruction of Skypiea.'' Paying their shock no mind, he continued ''He was gloating about it in our earlier encounter. Enel has some asinine belief that the Sky Islands are unnatural and it's his right to destroy them.''

''Hah?!''

''Are you kidding me?!''

Wyper growled ''I've finally found our homeland. I won't let you take it away, you lunatic!''

''Nothing you say or do will make a difference. This unnatural land will soon be no more and I will ascend to Fairy Vearth-it's only my fate as God.'' He declared loftily.

''And you think we'll just sit back and watch?'' Zoro demanded.

''I won't let you throw all those lives away for your twisted ambition!'' Gan Fall snapped.

''You think you can stop me? You truly overestimate yourself, mortal.'' Electricity flashed around Enel's frame as he stood. ''I tire of this. Prepare to die.''

He fired a wide spread blast that was blocked by Miguel's Ark Shield. Zoro immediately went on the offensive, only to stop due to Gan Fall unleashing his Flame Dial. ''I wouldn't recommend a direct assault. Enel's a logia devil fruit user, his body is essentially made of lightning.''

The self-proclaimed God didn't miss the surprise this news caused ''That's right-no one told you, did they? For all your proclamations of confidence, how do you intend to battle one with the power of a force of nature behind him?''

That was the question, Zoro ground his teeth as he tried to think of what to do. His only option was his new flying blade attacks it seemed. The ones who actually had a chance to do some real damage were Miguel, Wyper and Gan Fall. What could they use to combat lightning...?

His thoughts were cut off by the sound of crackling, bringing his attention back to Enel as a mass of lighting gathered up above him. He thrust his hand forward and it formed a widespread blast that threatened to strike. Chopper and Usopp were scrambling to get out of the way when a golden shield formed over everyone, negating the blast in moments. As Enel turned towards the source, he was surprised to find Miguel raising a sphere of starlight which shone brightly, blinding him.

Miguel knew that beating Vharley and healing Chopper was quite a hit on his reserves so he was nowhere near ready for this fight like he could've been. He was glad that he could at least help them in some way.

Enel scowled ''How dare you pests interfere?''

''Who the hell says we have to play by your stupid game?'' Zoro shot back.

''Exactly. I'm sorry we don't plan to roll over and die just because you say so.'' Miguel drawled sarcastically.

''Indeed, we have much better things to do.'' Robin added, Zoro couldn't help smirking in agreement.

''You insolent...!'' Lightning flashed around him again. ''I'll show you to fear God!''

Zoro was quick to unleash his 1080 pound calibre phoenix while Wyper unleashed his bazooka. Both attacks had done some damage but Enel seemed to shrug them off, to their frustration.

''I hate this, I want to do something but my ammo's no good!'' As much as Enel scared Usopp, he didn't want to simply stand and watch.

Zoro shared his frustration ''It's like that smoke bastard all over again.'' He stopped to think ''Miguel, can you lend me a sword? Yours don't work the same for me but this is about the only thing I can do.''

Nodding, the quartermaster closed his eyes as he requipped his ice and earth blades. Both Straw Hats were startled to see them both shine softly with power, Zoro swiftly switching swords before unleashing another flying blade at Enel, who was currently preoccupied with Wyner and Gan Fall.

Thanks to his mantra, the self proclaimed God knew it was coming. However, what he didn't expect were the consequent waves of ice and earth from his attacks, sending him reeling in surprise.

Zoro didn't see that one coming but he certainly wasn't about to complain. Seizing on the opportunity, he charged at the enemy. Enel held his staff up to stop him just in time but Zoro kept up the attacks, the magic in both blades blocking the former's attempt at electrocuting him. He had wondered why Miguel apparently had no intention of unsheathing the blades. Going by the power he sensed from them, he could only conclude that the sheaths themselves seemed to have something to do with how his fellow swordsman made this possible.

Enel fired a large attack he'd named One Million Volts Vari only for Wyper and Gan Fall to mitigate the worst of it with the bazooka and a couple of dials. Not that they escaped unscathed, something he was glad to pounce on with gusto. The two did their best to defend themselves, impeded by the self-proclaimed god's mantra. He had just managed to push them both back with an explosive burst of lightning when three rays of starlight flew straight at him, forcing him to jump back and dodge.

''That was close...'' Chopper trailed off. Once again, he wished he could help. Miguel was their best shot at putting up a fight against the madman and he didn't doubt that the others knew it. That annoying mantra ability really got in the way, Enel seemed to have developed it far more than the priests put together. But one look at Miguel told the reindeer that this wasn't the problem.

Of course, why didn't he see it before? That was why he made such little moves-he was too tired. Not only did he have to fight and defeat a wizard with far more experience than his own, he'd had to keep going due to their circumstances right away. Sure, Chopper had given him that potion but it also necessitated Miguel to get some rest.

''What a bothersome lot you wizards must be...'' Enel grunted. ''...but it matters little. Your paltry magic is nothing compared to the power of a God.''

''You aren't a god, you self-absorbed jackass. Deal with it!'' Zoro fired back, bracing for another attack.

Conis seized the first chance she could find to return to Angel Beach to warn everyone. Unfortunately, it was far easier said than done as no one would believe a word. The newly arrived Pagaya watched his daughter in growing concern as she continued to plead.

''Why don't you understand?! Enel's just a tyrant who was allowed to take over because we were too weak. We all heard him declare that he was planning to destroy Skypiea all along and now he has all he needs to get started. If we stay here, we're all going to die!''

''You're lying!''

''It can't be!''

''We won't leave our homes. God will protect Skypiea!''

The fed up girl's fists were clenched tight ''Enel is no God!''

Gasps surged at this, many believing that the girl had just signed her death wish. Any such declarations in the past were met by fierce lighting that struck the speakers down. However...

Nothing happened.

Pagaya joined his daughter ''Don't you see? We were all misled; Enel is nothing than a tyrant. Our God has been endeavouring to do his best for Skypiea. We need to leave now.''

No one responded for a few minutes ''...Listen to them.'' It was none other than Captain McKinley, much to the pair's surprise. He didn't even blink at Conis' glare ''Resent me all you want, I'll be the first to admit our mistakes but now we share the same goal.''

''...Fine...''

Shortly after parting ways with Gan Fall, it didn't take Nami and Sanji long to spot the multitude of lightning bursts not too far away.

''Three guesses who it is and the first two don't count.'' The latter scowled.

''Mm, wonder who he's fighting now...?'' Nami bit her lip.

''Something has to be done and soon. I ran into Conis-chan before, she's gone back to Angel Island to warn everyone. That nutjob wants to destroy Skypiea because he thinks people living in the sky is unnatural.''

The navigator gaped ''You've got to be kidding me...nutjob doesn't even begin to describe him. Now what do we do?!''

''Don't worry about a thing, Nami-san, I will protect you!''

''You better not be thinking of that stupid idea again, Luffy!'' Aisa still couldn't believe he was fine with looking for the other end of the snake, it was absolutely revolting. And why was he still so calm?!

He just laughed ''I told you, we'll figure this out.''

''Well then, less talking and more do-whoa!'' A yelp left the girl as she almost tripped on something, looking back to see it was a strange crystalline sphere.

Luffy perked up ''That's it!''

Puzzled, Aisa watched him pick it up and thrust it up. Frowning, he tried shaking it a couple of times but nothing happened. ''What're you even trying to...?''

The words died in her mouth as the sphere suddenly lit up, buzzing with power before it generated strong winds that levitated them.

''What's going on?!''

Grinning widely, Luffy grabbed her with his free arm before levelling the lacrima. ''Hold on tight, this is our way out!''

''You can't be seri-ahhh!'' Poor Aisa couldn't help screaming as she realized that not only was he serious, his crazy plan was working. Somehow, they were flying out of the snake!

Aforementioned reptile jerked as it sensed very wrong, vigorously shaking its head as it continued to thrash. But before long, the force of the lacrima's magic forced its mouth open, allowing the duo to escape.

''Yahoo!'' Luffy crowed. ''We did it!''

''Did nothing, we're still in danger!'' The understandably terrified Aisa shot back. Anger surged through her when the teen seemingly laughed this off, but the reason soon became clear as he launched his free hand towards a tree trunk and swung them over.

This only left her with one question ''...What did you even do before coming here if any of this doesn't faze you?''

Predictably, the rubber teen laughed some more.

Usopp and Chopper recoiled as Enel unleashed a number of beast shaped lightning blasts, scrambling to get away. Miguel raised an arm, Zoro started as the ice sword suddenly glowed, manifesting a multitude of ice shards that tore through the attack with ease.

''You can cast like that too?'' Usopp looked on in awe as Miguel frowned. The spell wasn't nearly as accurate as Miguel would've liked but he'd only realized he could even do that while training a few days ago.

Enel unleashed a number of lightning lances at him only for them to be negated with Ark Shield. Miguel then swiped a hand, the earth sword shone and a multitude of sharp rocks rose from the ground. Enel tried to destroy them with his staff but Miguel thought fast, directing the resulting shards to pelt him. A particularly large one nearly badly damaged one of his eyes, giving the other fighters a chance to strike.

Growling, the furious self proclaimed God glared at his enemies ''You, how dare you...this shouldn't be possible. How are you blocking my attacks?!''

Enel really thought he was invincible, didn't he? He didn't know a thing...

''You'll pay dearly for this, mortal. Sango!''

The sight of the new powerful attack had Miguel acting quickly, surrounding everyone in a dome of ice and another earth. But with his dwindling reserves, all they could really do was mitigate the damage as the lightning tore through them in seconds and blowing them all back. Enel laughed at the sight of his downed enemies ''That's more like it, know your place!''

''Don't...think you've won!'' Wyper snapped as some of them began to rise.

The former was distracted as he noticed Miguel stumbling a little, which was when it hit him. ''Oh, I see. You're running on fumes. What a shame. You MIGHT have been the only one here with a chance to give me even a slight challenge, boy, but you're spent after fighting that imbecile.''

Zoro's retort died in his mouth when he caught sight of a huge shadow looming over them. The sound of a hiss made him look up in time to see the giant snake descending ''What the-?!''

Usopp yelped ''It's back!''

Enel didn't even blink ''How tiresome.''

The next thing they knew, he unleashed a massive attack which forced them to look away...

Nami and Sanji had been rather close to the battlefield when the attack went off. The cook reacted quickly, pushing them both down in time to avoid any stray shocks.

Sanji's jaw dropped as he spotted the snake collapsing. ''He took that thing out so easily?''

''Sanji-kun, look!''

Following Nami's line of sight brought his attention to the source of the widespread attack ''Crap, he might be a jackass but there's no denying he's powerful...''

The words died in his throat as he spotted what looked like a dome of earth surrounding the area just ahead. It was slowly starting to crumble though and the first things he recognized were Robin and Zoro's prone forms. Nami inhaled sharply next to him, paling at the sight of the group. ''He...beat them all?''

Sanji clicked his tongue ''Looks like it, I bet you anything that dome was Miguel trying to protect them. I heard those soldiers talk about him beating that Vharley guy before but...''

A bolt of lightning landed right before them, forcing the two to look away. When they could see again, they found themselves face to face with Enel.

''Would you look at that?'' He smirked. ''It seems there really is a survivor...'' Nami realized he was looking at her. ''...so it seems you are the winner of the game, girl.''

Sanji clicked his tongue, remembering he'd said something earlier when he had ambushed him and Pierre earlier. The Pegasus' attempts to get them both to safety were futile; neither of them were fast enough to avoid his attacks. It couldn't even be called a fight, the reminder aggravating the blond further in light of Enel's smug attitude. ''As a reward, you can come with me as I depart from this unnatural abomination and take my rightful place as a God. You're quite the beauty, I have some use for you.''

Nami blanched while Sanji's blood boiled, reminded of Arlong at this. Use her? Use her?! Nami wasn't something they could use whenever their fancy struck; she was a human with feelings. No real man would ever talk about a lady in such a manner. ''Don't you dare talk to Nami-san that way, asshole! You have no right to...''

''Know your place, mortal. God has every right to do what he pleases.''

''You're not God, no matter how much you tell yourself otherwise!'' A smirk blossomed on Sanji's face ''Besides, for all your so vaunted power, you're not exactly in tip-top shape, are you?''

It took Nami a moment to realize he was right. She'd known they were in trouble ever since Gan Fall told them Enel was a logia user but a few cuts and bruises littered his body. There was even a particularly big gash that nearly cut his eye.

''Only a sign of those fools' meaningless struggles...'' Despite his words, Enel's displeasure at the reminder was clear. ''...the fact that I stand while they fall only proves my superiority.''

''Congrats-you're so superior because you beat a bunch of tired guys.'' Sanji had heard word of Zoro fighting one of the priests and Miguel fighting the wizard Pagaya mentioned. The divine soldiers' clear shock at the time only proved the result clear.

Eyes narrowing, the former stepped up ''I tire of your drivel, mortal.'' He raised an arm and a widespread wave of lightning came into existence, the two Straw Hats immediately hurrying away to dodge. Enel used three blasts which were suddenly absorbed into a black cloud overhead.

It took Sanji a moment to catch on ''Nami-san!''

The girl had her Climatact out ''...I wasn't sure that'd work...okay, Sanji-kun, go for it. I'll try to keep his attacks away!''

Thanking her, the cook sprang into battle. Knowing his attacks wouldn't work, he opted to kick the dirt up in his face. Enel didn't even blink, swatting aside with his weapon. The same happened when Sanji kicked a tree at him a moment later. Concluding that he had the same troublesome ability as the priests, Sanji tried to figure out what to do.

''It's no use.''

Before he quite knew it, Enel was in front of him. ''No matter what you do, it's pointless. My mantra reveals everything.'' He slammed his staff into the cook's gut, leaving him spluttering.

Seeing him prepare another electric attack prompted Nami into action, swiftly using her Black Balls to deflect the strike. The blasts collided, negating each other.

''A weather manipulating device, is it?'' Enel's attention was now on her ''But it doesn't come without limitations-let's see how long you can keep that up.''

Sadly, she found out soon-her method was only enough to derail his weaker attacks and anything Sanji could come up with was effectively pointless thanks to the man's mantra. The self-proclaimed God was soon able to push them into a corner.

Nami gasped as Sanji took an attack for her ''Sanji-kun!''

Enel smirked ''So you really will do whatever you can to protect her, that makes you even weaker, mortal.''

''...Shows...what you know, asshole.'' Sanji refused to show even a sign of pain, he wouldn't give him the satisfaction. ''A man must always protect a woman-it's a rule as old as dinosaurs. It's my honour to defend her. But it's also why...forget God, you're not even a man.''

Scowling, Enel unleashed another blast knocking Nami back by the sheer force as Sanji tried to roll away but was in too much pain. All he did get to do was avoid the worst of the attack, but it blew him back so far that she could barely see him.

''No...'' Nami paled as Enel advanced on her.

''I take it you're willing to reconsider my generous offer? You know what happens otherwise.''

Usopp blinked twice, pulling himself up ''How...'' He cringed ''...I didn't think any of us could get up after that...''

''He was more focused on the snake but...I actually think it's because of that.''

The sniper followed Wyper's line of sight only to see the remnants of an earthen dome crumbling around them. ''Don't tell me...''

Gan Fall sat Miguel up while a worried Chopper began tending to him ''He really overdid it...''

''It certainly seems so but we do owe him plenty. We wouldn't have held up against that lunatic nearly as well without his aid.'' The former God pointed out.

He blinked as the little doctor cried out and shrunk behind him, the reason being the snake as it turned in their direction. But the reptile only gave a low hiss and watched, much to general surprise.

''Doctor-san, if you could?'' Robin prompted.

''R-right...'' Chopper focused back on the snake ''...he...'' He jumped a little as the snake hissed pointedly. ''...sorry-she wants to thank Miguel. Apparently, she's been trying to protect Upper Yard. Enel and his priests overpowered her with numbers but most of them wouldn't even go near her. Enel stole something important apparently, she doesn't know where it is.'' A pause ''She's saying something about an ancient city...and the people who took care of her in the past-oh...'' His expression softened. ''...she wanted to protect this place for them. The people who found a new place to call home even after winding up here, I think she means the ancient Shandians.''

Wyper looked taken aback ''I heard that our homeland had a powerful protector in the past. I never imagined...''

''But that was like a century ago, right? How old is she?!'' Usopp hissed.

He could swear the snake was glaring at him for that. Chopper looked at him ''You do know snakes have excellent hearing, right? I don't think she likes that.''

''That's no good, Long Nose-kun. It's rude to question a lady's age.'' Robin teased.

Both were distracted when Gan Fall let out a noise of surprise, the reason being that Miguel was waking up. ''W-what...?''

''We all just woke up too, but I'd say you're the reason we're up and about. No idea where Enel took off though.'' Zoro shrugged.

''Oh...so then...?'' His eyes travelled to the snake, who nodded to him with a low hiss.

''Yeah, apparently we've got you to thank for that one. I guess you helping her out just made her consider us allies.'' Zoro crossed his arms ''The real question is what do we do...''

He was cut off by a sudden cry that made everyone look up to the sky in time to see a familiar figure in red swing from a tree. Usopp's eyes widened ''Luffy!''

The teen grinned as he noticed them, immediately changing course so they landed in a few swings. Wyper's attention was drawn to the second figure ''Aisa?!'' The girl stiffened at his glare ''You snuck in again? We've been through this!''

Aisa tried to think of a response but both jumped a little at Luffy's sudden cry ''Wait, you again?!'' She couldn't help the shriek that escaped her at the sight of the snake. ''You're not going to swallow us this time! Gum Gum...!''

''Hold on!'' Miguel interjected ''Slow down, Luffy, she won't hurt us.''

''It would seem she hates Enel too and now that Miguel-kun helped her, she's on our side.'' Gan Fall offered.

''Oh, okay!''

''Just like that?!'' Aisa once again wondered if anything ever fazed the boy.

''Whoa, what happened to you guys...?'' Luffy managed, just noticing his crew's state.

''Took you long enough.'' Huffing, Usopp briefly explained about the recent battle. ''But when we woke up, Enel was gone. I don't think he could've left Upper Yard yet but we can't tell where he went.''

''...I can.'' Both looked at Aisa ''There's two other voices up ahead. One of them has to be Enel and the other...''

''Wait, what voice?'' Usopp blinked.

''Oh, yeah-you know that annoying trick that fat priest used? She has it too and hers is way better!''

His eyes went wide at Luffy's declaration ''She has that mantra thing too...what's wrong?'' He added as Aisa's expression turned into one of surprise mixed with confusion.

''That other voice...Nami's with him!''

''Wait, what?! Why?'' Chopper spluttered.

Gan Fall looked equally alarmed ''I warned her to stay away from this area but Enel's mantra is frighteningly effective, he must've noticed her...''

Zoro bit back a curse ''Damn bastard probably took her just because he felt like it, another of his whims as 'God.' ''

''What do we do? We've gotta help her!'' Chopper exclaimed.

''We will.'' Luffy's eyes narrowed ''Aisa, can you find out where they are?''

''I'll do you better and just show you.'' The girl stepped up.

''You can't! This isn't...''

She gave Wyper a hard look ''If Enel wants to destroy Skypiea, nowhere really is safe so why shouldn't I do anything to help?''

''Excellent point, I doubt Captain-san would let her get hurt.'' Robin smiled.

''If anything, Luffy's one of our best chances at getting through this...'' Miguel added. ''...guys, Enel's a lightning logia. And what's our captain again?''

Usopp and Chopper exchanged looks of delighted surprise as they realized what he was getting at. Likewise, Zoro smirked fiercely and Luffy's face lit up ''I'm rubber!''

''Rubber doesn't conduct electricity-it's like Luffy's his perfect counter!'' Chopper beamed as Robin nodded with a smile. The three who weren't in the know were still a little confused but they understood that Luffy had a natural defense against Enel.

''Well, you heard that, Captain.'' Miguel said at last.

Luffy nodded ''He's mine. Just sit back and wait for the good news!''

Sanji hadn't even realized when he'd blacked out, knowing the worst happened when he found no sign of Nami. ''No, no...Nami-san!'' Gritting his teeth, he attempted to stand but felt his muscles seize up. ''Damn it!''

He couldn't just sit there...Nami needed help! It was bad enough that he couldn't beat Enel in the first place but this was so much worse. There had to be something he could...

A sudden noise cut into his thoughts, leaving him puzzled before a large shadow appeared. Looking up, the cook could only gawk ''What the hell...?''

Incidentally, Luffy and Aisa were staring at the same sight.

''It's a ship made of solid gold!''

Aisa's mouth fell as the ship slowly moved. How on earth did this thing remain hidden? It was huge! Wiper and the others had been to Upper Yard so many times but they'd never even glimpsed it.

The thought brought something to her attention ''Luffy, the voices are coming from there!''

''All right then...hang on tight.'' He warned before jumping up, wrapping a limb around a tall tree before quickly repeating the process when he spotted a taller one. Aisa bit back a cry, focusing her gaze on their destination.

Enel turned as they landed on the ship minutes later ''Hm?''

Nami couldn't help the wide smile on her face ''Luffy!''

''So you're another of those Blue Sea pirates...''

''Yeah and I'm going to be the one to take you down, Earlobes!''

Scowling, he grabbed his staff ''Watch your tongue, mortal. You're addressing God.''

But Luffy could care less, launching a Gum Gum Pistol then. Enel made no move to dodge, expecting his powers to handle that. Thus, he was in for quite a shock when the speeding fist almost made him hit the ground. ''W-what?!''

Nami was equally dumbfounded, watching in amazement as Luffy continued his onslaught, every strike nailing the mark. What just happened?

''Nami!'' She turned back as Aisa ran over.

''What're you doing here? This place is...''

''I'm getting you off this ship. Here!'' Aisa held out a lacrima ''Miguel said you'd know what to do with this.''

Confused, the navigator took it. Understanding settled the moment she saw just what the lacrima contained, making her grin. The sound of crackling made the girls look back at the battle in time to see Enel unleashing a powerful blast. Her eyes widened as Luffy continued to kick Enel in the gut, not even remotely phased by the strike. ''How...?''

Aisa's expression lit up. His friends were right; Luffy was indeed immune to Enel's power!

Growling, Enel stood ''How are you doing this?! I know I didn't miss, what are you supposed to be?''

Luffy grinned widely ''I'm rubber! That's all you need to know.''

Nami perked up, of course-rubber was an insulator! This whole time they wondered what to do about that lunatic's powers but they had an answer right there all along. ''Seeing that face makes getting stuck here entirely worth it...''

And the battle continued at this pace for a short while, Nami quickly realized that rubber didn't exist in Skypiea so Enel didn't know what it even was. Luffy was certainly making the most of that, Enel had been taking considerable damage. But as much as she hated the guy, he was smart. Already he was trying to think of ways to hurt Luffy now that his electricity was no good, and his main advantage was that annoying mantra.

Enel focused some power on his weapon and struck, smirking as Luffy dodged. ''So I was correct, you're weak to slash attacks.''

''Yeah.''

''Why are you telling him that?!'' Nami barked.

''I mean...wouldn't he have found out anyway?'' Aisa offered.

''He should at least try to...ugh, never mind-I forget who I'm talking about...'' Shaking her head, Nami thrust the lacrima forward, releasing the waver it contained. ''Come on.''

Nodding, Aisa wrapped her arms around the navigator after climbing on. Nami watched the battle carefully, waiting for an opportune moment to make a move. Enel solidified his powers over his staff, making it look like a trident. Luffy yelped as he instinctively fended off the oncoming staff with a kick, its sheer heat damaging his sandal. He aimed a punch but Enel dodged again. ''This is so annoying! Even that stupid dumpling wasn't like this!''

Enel chuckled ''Of course, Satori was a mere beginner. His mantra is nothing but a drop compared to the ocean of my power.''

Nami tried to think fast even as she activated the waver ''Aisa, you know how that mantra stuff works, right? Can't you think of anything that can help him?''

Shaking her head, the little girl apologized ''I hate to say it but Enel's better than any of us there. But...maybe if he can...''

''Gum Gum...Daze...''

The girls stared as Luffy suddenly began aiming his fists everywhere, striking anything in sight. ''What're you doing?!''

''No, Nami-this is good! He...'' Aisa allowed herself a grin as Enel was punched twice moments later.

The navigator stared, even Enel appeared baffled by this outcome. But then she remembered Gan Fall's description ''Oh, I think I get it now...so if Luffy can't figure out where his punches are going to land...?''

''Exactly, mantra's next to useless then!'' Aisa affirmed. ''Luffy's awesome!''

The situation was slowly becoming a stalemate. Luffy's idea may have worked at first, but it quickly turned out to have one issue, it only worked as a defense. Enel may not be able to use mantra there but he could still avoid them. Likewise, Luffy's quick reflexes allowed him to fend off a number of strikes and when that failed, recover in time to attack once more.

Enel clearly realized this too, frustration evident in every word ''Why don't you just die?!'' Sweeping his weapon horizontally, he unleashed three swift blasts before lunging at the rubber teen. Luffy retaliated with Gum Gum Stamp, not even blinking when the latter dodged before downing him with a swift haymaker.

''Gum G...wait, what just-?!''

He couldn't see any sign of Enel anywhere! When had he...?

Had they not been so far away by now, he would've heard Aisa call out a warning to look behind him. As it was, the sudden flash of light alerted him just as Enel appeared as if he'd just come out of the ship itself.

Smirking at his utter bafflement, the self proclaimed god disclosed gold was a conductor. As his ship, the Ark Maxim was made of the material, merging with it and using it all to his advantage was a simple matter.

The rubber teen decided to take the opening Enel's lack of action provided-but he realized that that itself was the trap.

Just as he raised his arm, Enel made his move. He'd moved so fast that Luffy could barely keep up but then a sudden weight on his arm made him stumble. The source turned out to be a golden ball that was currently grafted to his arm ''What the-?!''

''That's quite enough interfering from you, mortal.'' He positively preened now that his trick worked. ''My ark is ready, you won't ruin my goal no matter how hard you try.''

Even if he wouldn't admit it, the rubber teen did have the advantage for a while there. Enel didn't actually know how many of those attacks he could take. But he wouldn't lose now-not when he was so close to Fairy Vearth!

''Farewell.'' He struck with a blast that caused a shockwave, throwing him off the Maxim.

''No!''

Nami quickly manoeuvred the Waver towards the falling teen, even as the tyrant's terrible laughter resounded around them...

And that's that!

Things have been rough but I don't want to give up on any of my stories if I can help it so here we are. I think it's about time I just put this arc to rest already, so I'll wrap things up next chapter. Oh and I think it's been made clear by now that Miguel's like Erza in that he uses his pocket dimension pretty well, so he just had a lacrima ready to store anything they could use and they came across the waver on their way before Wyper found them.

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed it. Till next time!
