Nero and Daniel stared at each other.

"What the hell was that?" asked Nero

"I'm not sure" said Daniel looking down at the package in his hands.

"Well, I guess there's only one way to find out" said Nero backing away from Daniel

"I guess" Daniel laughed nervously.

Daniel opened the package and looked inside, there was an electronic tablet enclosed. Daniel pulled it out and it came on.

"Encrypted Message to Follow" blinked on the screen a couple of times and then a hologram of a small beautiful blue and gray husky appeared.

"Hello Daniel" said the pup

"I have it on good authority that you can be trusted and have the capabilities I need. I have a request and I'd like to see if you can indeed produce the items I'm looking for. I See Nero is with you, he can find the list of items I'll need. Once you have them gathered. You will receive a second package with the payment and delivery instructions. If you choose to not fulfill this request, I understand. If you decide to grant my request then I can assure you that our business will prove beyond beneficial to you and your business."

Nero stood there with his mouth hanging open.

"What the HELL! Have we gotten into?" mumbled Daniel.

Lyons walked into the room and paused as he saw the shocked face on the two men.

"Apparently I missed something" laughed Lyons nervously. He composed himself "What?"

"We seem to have a new client" said Daniel calmly

"Who?" asked Lyons

"A very mysterious dog" said Nero somewhat snickering

Lyons raised an eyebrow.

"Well we are learning nothing standing here" said Daniel handing the tablet to Nero. "Download the 'request' and see if it is something we can even do.

Nero nodded taking the tablet. Nero turned and sat down to his computer.

"Ha!" laughed Nero

"What?" asked Daniel

"It's encrypted" said Nero "It's a test to see if I can get to it."

"Can you?" asked Daniel

"Please! give me a second" laughed Nero, his fingers already flying across the keyboard.

Within moments the printer was spitting out several pages of text.

Nero turned handing the printout to Daniel smiling.

Daniel smiled and looked down at the pages.

Ryder walked into the control room with the pups following behind him.

"Well pups" Ryder paused for a moment in thought, then laughed "It's hard to call you guys pups anymore. We've all been through so much, you've all grown so much."

"You have too Ryder sir" replied Chase

"That aside" said Ryder "I think we need to start training the new pups for replacing our positions."

"Y-You want to replace us?" whimpered Marshall

"No Marshall, no" said Ryder "But let's face it, we all seem to get drawn into bigger issues and we have to make sure Adventure Bay is protected in our absence. I would never, could never try to replace any of you."

"W-well Chase and I already have the academy started" Marshall stated "I have a few prospects that can do a good job as firefighters. Chase?"

"Well sir, I have one that would be ok" Chase said "He still needs some work, but he will get there. He's a little stubborn..."

"That sounds familiar" laughed Skye

"That's what I was thinking" agreed Rocky

"I have someone I've been working with but..." said Rubble

Ryder and the pups turned to see that Rubble was looking down at his paws.

"What is it Rubble" asked Ryder

"Well..." Rubble stammered "She... "

"She?" said Marshall, somewhat smiling

Rubble blushed but continued "She is very good with construction and can already drive my dozer. But..."

"Rubble has a girlfriend" laughed Zuma

"No she's not!" yelped Rubble, then he whispered "but I like her."

"Don't let them bug you Rubble" said Skye "I'm sure she's great. Where did you meet her?"

"At school" said Rubble "She was at the library when I was looking for an engineering manual."

"Cool Dude" said Zuma "I'm sorry, I was just joking."

"It's Ok" said Rubble still blushing.

"Well Zuma, Rocky" said Ryder "Have you met anyone that you could train? And how about you Skye?"

"I haven't seen anyone interested in my job" said Rocky

"I met a pup the other day at the beach" said Zuma "She said she always wanted to be a lifeguard, maybe she could be trained."

"No Ryder, but I'll be honest." said Skye "I haven't really thought about it."

"Maybe we could have a recruiting drive." said Rubble

"That's a great Idea, Rubble" said Ryder "Let's see what it would take."

Daniel looked over the list, "We could get all of this fairly easy." He turned to Lyons "See what you can do with this part. Nero, this part is all you."

Lyons and Nero took their perspective parts of the list. "Yes, sir"

Daniel walked back to his office and began searching his databases trying to find any information on the mysterious Huskey.
