Daniel hung up the phone, the guys informed him that they had the items acquired and ready. It had cost a pretty penny to acquire the list of items and looking over them Daniel was a little worried. With these items you could start a nasty cyber war with just about anyone. Was he about to provide the means to bring down a company or worse yet the government. Who was this mysterious pup that had contacted him. His opinion of the capability of pups had been blown away a year ago when he met Rocky and found out what he was capable of. But he still had no idea who she was. All of his resources fell dead, he could find nothing. But obviously she knew everything about them.

All he could do now was wait for the next contact and pray that more information was provided.

The pups sat in the dayroom looking over resumes they had received after sending out the notice of a recruiting drive. There were pups from everywhere and one cat. They had almost thrown that one out immediately but her resume looked interesting and they had seen so many changes in the last year they thought it worth at least looking at.

"I don't know" said Rubble "I know they look good on paper, but I can't tell for sure."

"I agree" said Skye "I think we have to have them here to look at and talk to before we can decide anything."

"Well I guess it's settled then" said Chase "We'll invite them to come and see what shows up. Who knows maybe something will click and we'll know better when we see them."

Ryder had been listening and watching from the doorway. "So you've decided then?"

"Ryder sir," said Chase startled that he had not noticed Ryder in the room. "We were going to ask you first of course sir."

"Chill Chase" laughed Ryder "I fully trust you guys instincts and will take everything into account when it comes time. Remember we are still a team and we do everything as a team, including training new pups."

Chase sighed and turned back to the pups, "So how many are we talking about inviting?"

"All of them" said Skye

"All of them?" replied Chase "That's 25 animals. We can't house them here."

"No but we can set up tents on the grounds and not all of them will stay for long I figure" said Marshall.

"I think that's a great idea Marshall" said Rocky "I can pull together enough tents and beds for all of them."

"And I think it's a great idea as well" said Ryder.

"I guess it's settled then" said Chase "We'll send out the invites and see how many respond."

The door opened and the same guy as before walked in with another package.

"I guess you need Daniel again?" asked Nero

"No this time It's marked for you" said the guy

Nero took the package and once again the logo turned green and it beeped.

"Thanks" said the delivery guy turning to go.

As the door closed Nero turned to call Daniel. Daniel walked in as he was about to say something.

"Well open it" said Daniel

Nero opened the package and another tablet was inside. He pulled it out and it came on once again the Husky appeared.

"Hello gentleman, enclosed are the delivery instructions along with the account access to the funds for the items I requested. I'm sure you have questions so ask away."

Nero looked at Daniel "You think it's pre-programed to answer our questions?"

"I don't know" replied Daniel slowly looking at the hologram.

"It's ok guys" said the Husky "I'm live, you can ask anything and I'll answer what I can."

"Ok, first of all who are you?" asked Daniel

"You can call me Shasta." said the Husky

"Ok Shasta" replied Daniel "This is a fairly scary list of items. Who do you work for before I send these items to wherever it is you've requested."

"You've answered to Smith without such questions" said Shasta "Let's just say we work for the same purpose."

"Fair enough for now" said Daniel "Is this the last we'll hear from you? Or is there a way we can contact you?"

"Well you got this order together pretty quick, so I think you'll be hearing from me again." said Shasta "As far as contacting me, the tablet is equipped with a call feature, you can call me and I'll contact you as soon as I'm able."

"For now that will have to do" said Shasta "We all have a job to do?" With that the husky faded and blinked off.

"Well I'm still not totally sure about this Daniel" said Nero

"Me either" agreed Daniel "Send the package per the instructions, but put a tracker on it."

"Already done sir" smiled Nero

Later that afternoon once Nero had called the delivery service on the instructions the guys from earlier arrived with a truck to pick up the items. He loaded the order and drove away.

Nero returned to his computer to find that the tracker hadn't gone very far. In fact it had only gone about three miles away. Nero walked into Daniel's Office and handed him the address.

"Maybe this is case for Ghost to check out" said Nero in the form of a question

"Maybe you're right" said Daniel picking up the phone.

Daniel called Rocky and after making sure the phone was secure briefed him on the recent activity and asked if he minded checking the place out.

Rocky rolled up to the address Daniel had given him. It appeared to be a flower shop but not very busy.

Rocky decided to move closer looking at a building across the street. He walked along sniffing for anything out of the ordinary. He stopped momentarily as if looking at the building cautiously. He noticed a couple guys unloading packages into a back door. It didn't look like flowers but who could tell. There appeared to be an older lady standing at the counter inside.

Rocky decided he would wait until later and come back.

As he drove away a blue and gray husky hopped up on the counter. "Well I see they sent their spy to check us out"

Rocky returned to the Lookout, as he walked into the day room Chase and Skye were caught in a moment of endearment. "Um, guys" said Rocky coughing.

Chase jumped back and Skye rolled her eyes at the two of them. "It was just a kiss" said Skye

"Yeah sure" said Rocky "Anything new?"

"Where did you go?" asked Chase

"Errand for Daniel" said Rocky

"Oh?" replied Chase

"Nothing major" said Rocky "Just checking someone out for them."

"It appears all 25 have agreed to come" laughed Chase "We're going to be full"

"Great" said Rocky "When are they coming?"

"This weekend" said Skye "You better start finding those tents. Marshall and Zuma went to round up enough food for everyone."

"I'll get right to it" said Rocky going to his room

"Now where were we?" said Chase looking back to Skye

"I think we need to take this somewhere we won't get interrupted" Skye walked away toward their room, swaying her hips seductively. Chase smiled and followed.
