Enter the Survival Horror Chapter 11
"The chimeras like hiding in the air ducts, so we have to be careful. The second output terminal is in here... We need to do some work I see." Bec said, looking over the room.
The room was worse than it was in the game, the shelves had more stuff on them and the room did have glass and other things in here.
".. To get to the terminal, we're going to have to use the airducts." Bec said.
"Ok.. I'll go first, through them so that the chimeras will come after me." Chris said, pushing a shelf, before grabbing some ammo.
He gets up on the protruding wall and climbs into the air duct, followed by Bec. When Chris reaches the next room, he readies his shotgun. Two chimeras come into the room and he gets rid of them, but they disintegrate into nothingness.
"That's new." Chris said as Bec joined him.
"I don't know the specifics of it, but because it was made with multiple tissues is why, it dissolves after it's killed." Bec said.
"I don't get science too much, so I won't be concerned about it.. This place is has blood." he said, looking over the operating table.
"They did all kinds of experiments, so this ain't surprising. Let's take the other vent to get back to the morgue." Bec said. Chris could see that the doors that lead in here were rusted shut.
Chris crawls through the other vent, Bec follows him. They get over to the terminal and Bec puts in an MO Disk. After a moment, it says the second lock was released.
Chris then pushes the next shelf out of there way and another chimera comes out. Chris gets rid of it and they leave the room.
They get over to the single door, "There are two zombies in here. They have to go." Bec said as she opened it.
"Ok." Chris said. They find the two zombies, Chris decides to feed them both grenades, which then takes off their heads.
"Where to?" he asks Bec.
"This room, it's where the scientists would go on break." she said, heading through the door. Chris follows her into the room.
Bec grabs the first aid spray and ammo, giving some to Chris. She then brings out the lab map and Chris joins her.
"The elevator over here can take you to Wesker, however he turned off the power." Bec said, pointing to where the elevator is and what's below it.
"In here, the power supply has been depleted. There is a capsule there that distributes fuel to power the lab." Bec says, as she now points to it.
"It needs to be refueled in that room where we found the first terminal, however the fuel needed for the capsule, is explosive. We need to be careful as we bring it back the fueling device." Bec said.
"That's why you said we had to get rid of the zombies for good, but I take it there's more and what about the third terminal?" Chris asks.
"In these rooms, where the capsule is and beyond, have chimeras in them. It would be best if we got rid of them so the self destruct device can be easily activated." Bec said.
"Why should we destroy this place?" Chris asked.
"While this place would be useful for an investigation, the t-virus is still loose in this place. It would be better just to get rid of it." Bec said.
"I hate to say it, but your right. This virus has done enough damage already." Chris agrees that the mansion needs to go.
"In the room beyond the capsule, is where the third terminal as well as a battery and grenade. Then we just need to get rid of all the monsters before back tracking." she said.
"The downside is, is that the prison cell is locked and I have no idea where that key is. There is something down in the lab that can unlock all doors in this place. Jill is in there for sure and I would like to say, Rebecca is and maybe Barry." Bec finishes.
"Understood. Before we refuel the capsule, I want us to go check the prison below. Make sure that we find out who is down there. Then once we get the capsule fueled and put back, I'm gonna take you back to this room we're in and your gonna stay here until I get back." Chris said. Bec nods.
"Let's move." Chris said, as Bec puts the map away.
They head to the power maze, they get rid of the chimeras in the room, Bec takes the capsule, before going to the next one. They get rid of the monster in there, with shotguns, Bec puts in the last MO disk and the last lock leading to the cell is unlocked.
Chris finds the grenade and battery, giving the latter to Bec, and they leave for the following room.
In the power control room, they rid the room of monsters and Chris looks it over. "So, this machine can destroy the mansion?" he asks.
"Yes, but I wouldn't know the mechanics as to how to set it off." Bec said.
"Don't worry, Jill can take care of it. She would know what to do. Let's go see her and hopefully the others." Chris said.
They get back to the passcode passage and pull down the release locks, making the doors useable. They head down the stairs and go over to the single door, that had a barred window.
They look in and see, Jill and Rebecca sitting on the bed and Barry leaning against the wall.
"Hey!" Chris calls into the room. All three heads snap up and look over where they were.
"Chris!" Jill said as all three of them crowd around the window.
"Are you all ok?" Bec asks.
"Yes, we are. Wesker locked us all up, once we outlived our usefulness to him." Barry said.
"Yes, he decided that you were to face the greatest creation, the tyrant, when you and Bec left the room. Not knowing that at the time, he took me off guard and knocked me out. When I awoke, I was here and he told me what I just said. Also my gun went missing." Jill said.
"I have it." Bec said showing her, her gun.
"Thanks. It may sound silly, but that gun is a model you can only have in STARS." Jill said. Bec was about to give it back to her, sliding it between the bars, when Jill shakes her head.
"It's fine, I can't use it right now." she said.
"Barry.. You said that Wesker locked you up because you weren't useful to him anymore. What do you mean?" Chris asked.
".. Before we came to the forest, Wesker got me alone and told me everything that he was going to do. He also told me that he had my family and that if they don't hear from him after a certain time passed, then the people that had them would kill them." Barry admits.
"You weren't playing hide and seek with the monsters?" Chris asked. He was pissed that Wesker did such a thing and understands why Barry didn't meet up with Rebecca a lot sooner.
"No, he told me to take of some stuff outside the mansion, before coming in, but that my survival would have to be on my own, until it was done. When I got done, I got to the mansion as fast as I could, with those dogs chasing me, after they found me." he said.
"Then I met up with Wesker at the mansion and he told me to go in rooms to get rid of evidence, giving me a key to access them." he finishes.
"But Barry, Wesker didn't have your family." Bec speaks, but the look on Barry's face tells her, he already knew.
"Rebecca told us after she was brought here, that you know things, but Barry didn't find out about his family, until after he was tossed in here." Jill said.
"Yeah, after I cleared you a path back to the mansion, I met up with Wesker at the back entrance. I told him you were on your way back to the mansion and he told me that now, I had to take care of somethings in the lab. I turned, intending to go to the main hall, when something cracked across my head and I blacked out. When I came to, he tossed me in here and Jill came to my side as he locked the door. When I realized where I was, I believed I had somehow failed him, I begged him to spare my family, but he laughed at me. He then told me, that neither he nor Umbrella ever had my family, that it took a few simple words to make me believe that he did." Barry said.
"Just when I think he can't sink any lower." Chris said, angry.
"He already is there. Remember Lisa?" Bec asked. Chris realizes that Wesker had heartlessly experimented on her.
"Rebecca, how did you end up here?" he then asks, forcing his anger to subside.
"..He came into the room, surprising me. At first I was happy to see him, but then he grabbed me. Told me that if I didn't cooperate, then he would kill me and the others who were down here. He tied me up with some rope he brought and tossed me over his shoulder, bringing me down here." she said.
".. Rebecca, I'm sorry, but Enrico is dead. Wesker killed him." Bec tells them.
"Bastard!" Barry said, punching the wall. He was angry that Wesker killed his friend and teacher.
".. I'm not surprised to hear that, but Bec.. you need to go with Chris. When it's time to confront Wesker." she said.
"What? She's not-" Chris tries to protest, but is interrupted.
"She has to. Wesker told me to tell you two, that if Bec didn't show up with you, then he would torture you until she did and kill you as soon as she arrived." Rebecca said.
"She right, we heard Wesker tell her that, before he tossed her in here and he's dead serious." Jill said.
"Wesker has a way with words but I'm sure he's telling the truth about that. Chris, she has to go with you. Whatever the reason, he wants her with you." Barry said.
"..Ok. I don't like it, but she'll come with me." Chris agrees that Bec will come with him.
"In the lab, there is something that can unlock all doors. Can you open the door from your side?" Bec asks.
"No, there is no handle in here. There is one on the other side of the door, but it needs to turn, before we're free." Rebecca said.
"We'll find the thing that can free you all then this place needs to be blown sky high. The virus is still around." Bec said.
"Yeah, I remember Wesker mentioning that at one point." Barry said.
"Say Barry, did you happen to kill some hunters back at the mansion by chance?" Bec asks him.
"No, I ran across some when I was outside, before I met up with you. That was the last time I saw them." he said.
'So Wesker is the one who did it.. Why is the question.' Bec wonders why Wesker did that.
"We're off but we will be back for you." Chris said.
They leave the cell heading back upstairs to the first door on the left, and Bec goes over to the refueling device door, opening it. She places the capsule inside, shutting it and they wait for about five minutes, until it was ready.
Bec opens the door and slowly brings it out. "Remember, this fuel is highly explosive. You have to protect me until I put this back." she reminds him.
"I know. I'll be in front, you stay a few feet behind me." he said. They leave the room and the hall that they were in. They head through the o hall and are about three quarters of the way to the door when a chimera comes out.
Chris gets rid of it and they keep on moving. Nothing happens in the elevator entry hall and as they get back to where the fuel device is, another chimera jumps out to stop them.
Chris gets rid of it before it gets close to Bec and Bec places the capsule back into the device. It turns green and they head back to the main power room.
Bec sees where it can turn on for the elevator and restores it's power. They then get back to the elevator entry and Chris presses the elevator button.
As they wait for the elevator to come up, Chris speaks, "Bec, you are to stay behind me when we get down there. We don't know why Wesker wants you, but it's clearly not good."
".. There are security cameras all around this place. He has to know that I know things." she said. The elevator comes up and they get on, with Bec pressing the down button.
"And you couldn't stay quiet about what was gonna happen. I understand. I promise, he won't get you." Chris swears he will protect her.
The elevator reaches the bottom and they get off. They turn the corner and see the door that would take them to Wesker and the tyrant.
"Any advice on this tyrant?" Chris asks stopping before they open the door.
"Long range attacks work best due to it having good close combat abilities. Get away from it as fast as possible if it's too close.. and down here won't be the last time we face it." Bec said. She removes her back pack and takes out the magnums.
"Why do we have to face it again?" he asks, he takes a magnum, that she offers.
"This tyrant is more advanced than the one Rebecca and I faced. It will require a rocket launcher to kill it now. We will meet it again on the helipad and Brad will have to give us the launcher." she answers, grabbing some medical supplies.
"Can't we just finish it off in the lab?" he asks, taking an mixed herb, just in case he needs it.
"Like I told Rebecca before, while it is in a regenerative state, I don't think anything can harm it." she said, placing the backpack on her.
"..Ok, we should have more room on the helipad, to take care of it. Let's get in there." he said.
They head pass the door and go over to where Wesker is.
"Wesker." Chris said with growl, as he and Bec go to a stop, a couple feet away from him. Chris makes sure he is in front of Bec.
"So, you two have come." Wesker says, with his back to them, "I'm not surprised, Christopher. You make me proud. Then again, you are one of my men."
Chris scoffs in a sarcastic tone, "Thanks."
Wesker then turns to attack him with a fist, Chris blocks it, but then Wesker does a roundhouse kick at him, at his knee, surprising him. Before Wesker could kick him in the face, Bec stops his kick with a block and spin kicks him in the ribs, making him stumble back.
Chris then makes a move to punch him, but he dodges him and launches his own fist at Chris, connecting and making him stumble. Bec moves to help again, when Wesker whips out his gun and points it to Chris, stopping her and him from moving.
"That is quite enough." Wesker orders.
"Why Wesker?" Chris asks.
"Why what?" Wesker asks.
"Why did you do this to STARS? Why did you do all those horrible experiments? Don't you feel any compassion for human life?" he asks. He remembers that Bec said worked for Umbrella for years and that he continued to do so, after joining STARS. She also had said that money and materialistic needs mean nothing to him.
"When I was put in charge, you all became my pieces of chess. It would all lead up to something like this. Thus I had no qualms about sacrificing you all." Wesker said.
Hearing that made Chris angry. "You bastard.. You lead us on, all these years.. " he gets out.
"Yes, I lead you as the captain of the STARS and I lead you all here. Come now, Christopher. Comradery is only a fool's idea." Wesker said, not caring that he had all the STARS, outside the ones imprisoned, killed.
".. I looked up to you. I respected you.. I wanted.." Chris grits his teeth, he couldn't finish his sentence.
"I'm flattered you wanted to be like me, but you'll never match me. Especially, in the scientific world. You can never do these things that help exceed the human race." Wesker said. He seems to be proud of doing the experiments.
"You're a monster. You destroyed people's lives, by doing those experiments. Some of these people had to have had families, their own lives to lead. You don't feel any sadness or anger, in what you did." Bec said, as a statement.
"No. I fail to see why I should, when humans are the most vile species to walk the earth." he said, not showing any remorse.
"You are half right, there are a lot of humans who are vile, but there are those who are just trying to make it through life. They gets jobs, they have families, they help to try to teach their children right from wrong. It may not always work but it is something. Humans make mistakes, it's part of life." Bec said.
"So, you blind yourself to what humans are. You're young, you will change your mind." Wesker said.
"I doubt that." Bec said.
"Bec's right Wesker. I may not know why you think humans are a waste of time, but part of being human is that we make mistakes." Chris said.
"Enough of this pointless chatter. Christopher, you are going to fight the tyrant and you, my dear will be coming with me." Wesker said to them.
"She's not going any where with you." Chris said.
"I beg to differ, her knowledge about things can help me destroy Umbrella and I can show her what I have to offer." he said, startling Bec with his words.
'Wesker can't take me. He plans to die against the tyrant so that the virus he injected himself with can officially activate. Giving him powers.. but I plan on putting a bullet in his head before he can. So.. is this a warning?' Bec wonders at his words.
"Wesker." Bec said, remembering something, "Why did you kill some hunters at the mansion?"
"I wanted to make sure, you would survive. It was only four of them after all." he said, it was no big deal with him.
"I also," Wesker continues to says, "Lured some of the experiments, to the westside. Aside from the ones I distracted Rebecca with, I had placed one zombie, before you brought Richard and Rebecca that way, on the balcony."
".. Why?" Bec asks. 'What was the point?'
"That, would be my own little test, to see how well you do. A place where you thought there was no enemies, there was one. That was when I saw that you somehow know about this place." Wesker said.
'He really wants me apart of his plans, but he won't get a chance to act on his plans.' Bec was determined to end him.
"Come." he said, bringing Bec out of her thoughts, "It's time for show and tell, then all you STARS are gone."
Wesker types a few things on the keyboard and the water fluid drains from the tube that the tyrant is in. "It's beautiful." he said in awe.
"It's disgusting. An abomination done to the human body." Bec said, not impressed.
Chris laughed, "Wesker, you've really lost yourself if you think that is the ultimate life form." he said, he was also not impressed.
"Christopher, you won't ever understand, but Dearheart, you'll come to understand this." he said, getting closer to where the tyrant is.
"Magnificent." he said, spreading his arms.
The tyrant moves, Wesker seemingly becomes surprised by it's actions, and it impales him, the glass breaks and it jumps down, before tossing Wesker off to the side.
The tyrant then moves to face them. "Bring it on, test tube freak." Chris said, readying his magnum. Bec readies herself too.
They shoot at it, making sure to keep distance from it. The tyrant gets a lucky strike on Bec, it's claws hit her arm and blood drips down her arm. Bec reels in pain and Chris fires at it. After a certain number of bullets, the tyrant falls down.
"That wasn't as hard as I was expecting." Chris looking over the fallen tyrant.
"Wait till we get to the helipad. It will be different then." Bec said, going over to Wesker's body. She ignores her injury. Chris heads over to where a bunch of machines are.
She removes Jill's gun from her bag and gets on her knees. She grabs the note he is holding, then places the gun by his head and pulls the trigger..
Nothing but a clicking sound happens.
"What? You got to be kidding me, the gun jammed?!" Bec said, upset. Here was the opportunity of a lifetime, killing Wesker to save Chris and Jill the heartaches that come later.
But the gun jammed.
"Bec? I found the electronic lock needed to unlock the door that got us in here and where the holding cell is.. What are you doing?" Chris asked upon seeing Bec with Jill's gun next to Wesker.
"The gun jammed and I found him holding this." Bec said, showing him the note.
The discovery of the G-Virus was in fact 21 years after the administration of the progenitor virus.
The "Prototype Parasite" which we had delivered from a laboratory in France was administered to the sample specimen. The sample specimen took in the parasite without showing any signs of adverse reaction.
The lack of any reaction was an unsolved mystery. But now everything is clear to me now.
The "Prototype Parasite" was incubating in the sample specimen's body for 21 years. Then from that incubating state the prototype suddenly mutated. ("Evolved" may be a more appropriate word to describe it.)
This observation gave me more insight in my research. Through further modification and testing, I was able to derive a method to create the "G" that surpasses the performance of the "T".
This was the breakthrough that would change the future of the B.O.W.'s history.
I can't wait to see the look on Alexia's annoying face when I finally announce my research. But unfortunately I'll have to wait a few more years to completely verify my findings.

"Sounds like someone we need to keep an eye on. I already took care of the electric lock, so we can leave-" Chris tries to say but Bec interrupts him.
"Give me your gun." she demands.
"What?" Chris asked, shocked.
"Give. Me. Your. Gun." Bec grounds out.
Chris does so, though he is confused as to why Bec wants it. Bec tries using Chris' gun on Wesker but the same thing happens.
".. I don't know why your trying to shoot him when he is already dead, but it's odd that my gun jammed all of a sudden." Chris said, taking back the gun.
Bec thinks, 'Something's wrong. There is no way that two guns would just jam like that.. Is there another player at work?'
Bec has read stories on how sometimes more powerful forces were at work, behind the scenes..
Bec now thinks that an entity or something is involved with why she can't kill Wesker and why she is in this world.
"Let's go Bec." Chris said, snapping her out of her thoughts. He had fixed his gun by this point.
"Yes, let's get the others." she said standing up.
They leave the room, getting back to the holding cell, when they are attacked by a chimera. Chris gets rid of it. When another one takes him by surprise, it spun him around and was about to bite him, when Bec shoots at it's face.
It let's go of Chris who, stumbles forward and Bec kills the creature before he crashes into her. Chris tries to steady himself, but he falls and pulls Bec down with him.
He was able to grab her before she falls on top of him, "Are you ok?" he asks.
"..I will be if you remove your hand from my person." she growls out.
"What do you-?" Chris tries to ask as he squeezes something soft.
"How dare you!" Bec yells and Chris sees where his left hand is, on her breast.
"Wha-" before Chris could figure out how that happened, Bec slapped him.
"Ow!" he shouts as Bec got off him.
He gets up himself, holding his sore cheek. "I'm sorry, I don't know how that happened!" he said.
".. Let's just get the others." Bec said, she was in no mood for yelling at him. They continue on their way back to the cell, reaching it.
They open the door, setting the others free. "Thank you both, what happened to Wesker?" Jill asked once all three of them were out of the cell. Rebecca sees Bec's injury and treats her.
"He's-" Chris is about to tell them he was dead, but Bec interrupts, as Rebecca gets done with her.
"I'll explain later. We need to blow this place and get out of here." Bec said, giving Jill back her gun. She also hands her the map of the lab.
Chris gives her a look, but decides to let it go. "Barry, you go on ahead and clear us a path, Jill take Rebecca and get to the power control room to set off the self destruct device. I'll stay with Bec and we'll go with Barry." he said. Jill fixes her gun upon seeing it was jammed.
"Right let's go Jill." Rebecca said and they leave.
"Let's move." Barry said, and they leave the cell.
They get up to the stairs leading to B1 when the alarms go off. They take of a couple of zombies that get in the way and reach the doors leading to the helipad. They wait for the other two, who soon join them and they go pass the doors.
They head in, Rebecca grabs the first aid box on the ground, as they reach half way through the hall, a transmission from Brad comes through.
"This is Brad! I'm running out of fuel! This is your last chance, give me a sign!" he said through the radio.
"You heard him. Let's move." Chris said, putting back the radio.
"Why didn't you just tell him that were here?" Jill said as they continued.
"We can hear Brad, but he can't hear us. The fuse box!" Bec said grabbing it.
She takes it over to where it is suppose to go and starts connecting it when noises are heard. "Chris, you stay here with Bec, we'll take care of this! Get Brad's attention!" Barry said. He, Rebecca and Jill go back to take care of the threat.
Bec makes the fuse connect making the elevator come to life and open. She and Chris get on and Chris presses up.
"There are signal rockets up top, we light one of them and then Brad will come, but so will the tyrant." Bec said.
"Understood." he said as the doors open. They see the box in front of them, Chris grabs it.
They set it up and release one of the rockets into the air. Bec has taken out all their weapons so that they can attack the tyrant. They hear the elevator behind them and turn to see the others walk out.
"Everyone ok?" Chris asks.
"Yeah, a little bruised but fine." Jill said.
Then a noise is heard from below them, they all turn just as the floor opens up and the tyrant reveals itself. It smacks the three who came off the elevator, who were shooting at it and they fall unconscious.
It then turns to look at Bec and Chris, moving towards them. "We got to hold out until Brad gets here." Bec said, readying her magnum with the final rounds.
"Right!" he said, holding his magnum.
They shoot at it, moving to get away as it attacks. 'Oh, yeah. This is different from the basement!' Chris dodges the tyrant as it tries to slice him in half.
They're magnums run out of bullets and they switch to grenade launchers, until they too run out. They then hear the helicopter.
Bec rolls away from the tyrant as it attacks her and grabs her shot gun, shooting at it. Chris had also got his shotgun and fires at it.
As the helicopter came closer, they both ran out of shotgun ammo or in Bec's case, weapons. "Damn!" Bec said, tossing her shotgun.
Chris was now down to his samurai and shoots at the creature. "Brad! Hurry your ass up!" he shouts as he dodges another attack.
Brad finally gets there and sees he can't land due to the fight going on. He takes in the discarded weapons and sees that heavy artillery is needed. He gets the rocket launcher detached from the chopper.
"Chris, use it!" he shouts as it hits the ground, "Kill it! Whatever it is!"
Chris tries to get to it but the monster seems to know what he is up to and stays on him. Bec then goes for it.
She grabs it and turns to where the monster was trying to kill Chris, who thankfully was away from it. "Hey! Freak of nature!" she shouts at it.
It turns to her and Bec fires the launcher at it, the rocket hits it and it explodes into a pile of flesh.
Bec drops the launcher, goes over to the others and Chris goes with her. Brad was able to land the chopper and once they get Barry, Jill, and Rebecca awake, they get on the helicopter.
Brad gets them into the air and a couple of minutes after he takes off, the mansion explodes taking the horrors with it.
Inside the chopper, Bec was feeling the tiredness of the night, she lays her head on Chris' shoulder.
She was sitting next to Chris, while Barry was in front of them checking over his gun. Jill was seated on the other end of where Barry is and has fallen asleep. Rebecca apparently, once she boarded the helicopter, was so relieved that they were getting out of there, that she fell asleep on the floor almost immediately.
"Brad?" Bec calls to him.
"Yes?" he asks.
"Let me know when we're about an half hour away from the city. There are somethings you all need to know." she said.
"Ok, it won't be long, about a half hour." he said.
"Bec." Chris then speaks, "Get some rest. I'll wake you when Brad says that it's time."
"Ok." Bec did as he suggested and fell asleep.
A little while later, Chris roused her like he said he would and Bec sees that everyone was already awake. Brad was still flying the copter.
"Ok, everybody listening?" Bec asks.
"Yes, but are you sure it can't wait?" Rebecca asked, concerned.
"No." Bec said.
'I'm pretty sure that once we land, I'll go back to Jackie's house. They need to know about Umbrella and Raccoon City, at least what is in the near future.' Bec thinks.
"When you guys get back, I recommend that you only bring up the mansion and other things once, if at all, to Irons." Bec said, surprising them.
"Why?" Barry asks.
"Irons is on the payroll of Umbrella as well as the mayor and other city officials. When you all touch down, they will have a story already made to make sure if you try and tell any one what happened in the mountains, no one will believe you." she said.
"Of course, Irons is involved. Some how that is not surprising." Chris said, angry.
"I take it none of you like him?" Bec asked upon seeing looks on their faces, even Rebecca's.
"No. He is a despicable man. He thinks lowly of women, he has tried laying his hands on me and Rebecca, and has often tried to take charge of STARS, even though full control of it belonged to Wesker. He even is mean to the officers, especially deputy chief Douglas and Lt. Branagh." Jill said.
"That is because Douglas and Branagh are not on the payroll, unlike Irons, they would be a threat to Umbrella. That was why they made sure that Raccoon city's chief of police would be someone they could control." Bec said.
"Like the mayor's office and other offices." Barry said. Bec nods.
"The best bet is to go to the press and I mean someone outside of Raccoon City." she said.
"I get that the tabloids and papers are under Umbrella's control, but there are many freelance reporters in Raccoon. Surely we can trust one of them to help." Jill said.
"Then a target will be painted on them, Umbrella is going to keep a strict eye on all of you, especially if you remain in Raccoon City." Bec said.
"Because they don't want to lose control of the city." Rebecca said.
"Yes." she said.
"Why couldn't we take the evidence to the government?" Chris then asked.
"Because the government is in cahoots with Umbrella in their own biological warfare program." Bec reveals.
"What?!" all of them asked, shocked.
"What I said is true, they have their own bio warfare program and are on the list of clients for Umbrella." Bec said.
".. I can't believe even they take Umbrella's side." Barry said, disappointment clear.
"They will-" Bec tries to speak as to what happens on October 1st, but something forces her to stop speaking.
'What?' Bec wonders why she can't speak. 'Don't speak of the virus. Don't say anything about the nuke.' a voice whispers to her.
"What's wrong?" Jill asks as she and the others look at Bec in concern.
"They will take the side of the public.. if something big happens with Umbrella." Bec gets out.
"What would be big enough?" Chris asks.
".. I can't say. Something is stopping me from telling you. Please don't ask for specifics." she pleads as she sees some of them about ready to argue.
"Ok, we won't ask you." Jill said, stopping the others from asking her questions.
"Is there anything you can tell us about it?" she then asks.
"It will occur in late September and- " Bec couldn't get out when it would end.
They others see that Bec really wanted to tell them, but something is stopping her. ".. It's ok Bec. If you can't tell us, then don't." Chris said, even though he was curious as to what it is and when it would end.
Bec let's out an exhale, "Thank you for understanding. Now here's other news, Wesker is still alive." she informs them.
"Bec.. that can't be." Chris starts to say, but then remembers that she had tried to shoot him, even though he was already dead. Now he realizes why she tried to do that.
"I tried to kill him but the guns jammed. Whatever is preventing me from speaking, it most likely why I couldn't finish him off." Bec said.
"How did he come back to life?" Chris asked, for both of them had seen the tyrant kill him.
"A virus, specifically designed for him. He took it just before you and I arrived and there is no antidote for it." Bec said.
"I see, any changes?" Rebecca asks.
"His eyes turn orange, and at a later date, red. He also gets enhanced senses as well as strength and speed." Bec said.
"So that is how he escaped the mansion." Barry said. Bec nods.
"When are we going to meet again?" Chris asks.
Bec answers, "Before new year's. You-"
Bec is stopped again, 'Keep quiet.' the voice whispers.
Seeing that Bec was stopped again, Chris speaks, "It's fine. I'll keep in mind, that I'll see him again."
Bec relaxes, then Brad says, "We're almost there to RPD."
Bec then sees that time is short, she grabs her back pack and asks Jill for the map she gave her. Jill hands it to her and she places it in the bag, before passing it off to her.
"Smuggle all that evidence out of the city. If Umbrella or a pawn of theirs finds out about that information, they'll stop at nothing to get rid of it." Bec said. Jill nods as Brad lands the chopper.
"So that's why you didn't use the filter in that room." Chris remembers, the filter. Bec nods and says, "Chris you need to stay in touch with Claire for as long as possible."
Chris blinks in surprise but nods.
As Brad was landing, Bec asks for a pen and paper. Rebecca had those, gave them to her and she writes down some names and places. "Give this to Kevin Ryman and tell him that when the time comes, he is to get to that location." she said, handing the note to Chris who nods.
"Yeah, but your gonna have to tell us how you know all this stuff." he said. Bec gives no reply as Brad lands.
They all get out, once Brad turns it off. ".. Say Bec, the way you talked tells me you aren't planning to stay." Brad points out, as he gets out.
"I'm afraid your right." she said.
"What do you-" Chris tries to ask, when a flash of light occurs.
"What the?" Barry asks. Then another one happens, startling all of them expect Bec, who expected this.
The light flashes for the last time, becoming so bright that they had to shield their eyes.
When the light was gone, they open their eyes to see that Bec was no longer there. "Wh-Where did she go?" Brad asks.
"This happened before." Rebecca said, causing the others to look at her.
"When we escaped the training facility and she was trying to tell me how she knew things, the exact same thing happened." she said.
They hear footsteps coming, lots of them. Jill, who was still holding the bag, whispers to the others, "Until we figure out what the hell just happened, we best not talk about her to anyone."
They all nod as the door to the roof opens and officers come out to see them.
Early October, 2023
"Ah!" Bec shouts as she arrives back at Jackie's house. 'I'm back!' Bec is happy to be back home.
She looks over at the clock and sees she's only been gone for about fifteen minutes. 'Not much time has passed since I was in Resident Evil.'
She feels different from the last time she came back to her world. 'Talkin really does help, but I think I'm gonna enjoy the party in force.'
She goes over to the bathroom and looks at herself, 'I'm gonna have to change.'
After talking with Chris, Bec realizes she's gonna have to tell someone about her adventures, but not when the party's going on.
'Just.. no other biohazard games tonight other than zero and first.' Bec had experienced these and has decided to give them a go, but will avoid other games in the franchise for now.
She hears a knock at the door and answers it, "Hey, Bec- Whoa! What happened to you?!" Candice asks in alarm. She looks over Bec's appearance, seeing her clothes with tears, dirt, injuries, and bruises.
"Don't worry about. I'm going to take Aida's car and go back to my house, for a shower and a change of clothes. Please let the others in when they get here. Or if it's Aida and Jackie, they went out shopping for snacks." Bec said, grabbing Aida's keys.
"But-" Candice still tried to ask her about why she looks the way she does, but Bec goes past her.
Bec drives back to her place, she was determined not to let what happened to her, get the best of her anymore.
She gets home, heads in to get to her room for a shower. As she cleans herself from the game, she thinks over all the games she can play while the marathon is going on.
With a reminder to stay away from most Resident Evil games, for awhile.
