While all this happened Splinter meditated. He heard everything but reacted to nothing, Splinter instead focused on everything that had happened over the last few years. He realized that he had handicapped his clan, his family. Something that he had not realized was comprised of more than just him & his sons. He always kept the rule of no killing, he believed if there needed to be death that was not his call to make, but in this war many had died. Even Donatello was left for dead by Bebop & Rocksteady. How long could he cling to his beliefs, even his father accepted that in battle some may die, but none of the victims in this war was a part of it. They were innocent. Yet they died because Shredder wanted to "send a message" because Splinter believed that one-day Shredder would simply give up, he had not acknowledged the fact that Oroku Saki much like his older brother Oroku Nagi would never relent. Even Tang Shen his mentor's wife was killed, another innocent died because there could never be peace between the Hamato & Oroku Clans. Only until one was gone was there going to be peace. The only solace that Splinter took in this thought was that this was being pushed on them by Oroku Saki. Once his decision was made he walked into the madness that had become his family. Despite everything it only took one statement to bring everything to a stop "Kneel my sons". Immediately due to a lifetime of discipline & habit all four sons were in front of their father kneeled with their heads down. Splinter called them one at a time to give him their report of what they had learned. It started with Michelangelo's report of the Neutrino homeworld. He's speaking was frantic & complicated butt Splinter placed his hand on Michelangelo's head & whispered to him allowing him to calm down & give a better explanation. Splinter moved to Donatello & with a much harsher tone told him to speak. Splinter knew that he would need more force to get more than a mumble from Donatello who he knew was moving his lips, but no sound came out. With the command Donatello finally realized this & explained the message that he received from Harold & that he received a distress call from Mona Lisa when she realized they were being hunted. Leonardo interrupted Donatello to tell him that Leatherhead assured him that they were okay & heading to New York. The message broke Donatello down & with tears in his eyes he explained his plan to establish a connection between the Neutrinos & the Utroms so that they could help & support each other until they could get there. Raphael's report was personal & brief stating what happened to Casey & his intention to kill every Purple Dragon in the city, which was surprisingly not halted by Splinter. Splinter stated that the Purple Dragons will be dealt with as soon as they finished & returned to New York. Surprised by his father's statement Leonardo stuttered at the beginning of his report & explained that the surviving mutants confirmed that the lair that Baxter Stockman destroyed was their old base that Donatello had set up as a distraction & he gave them directions to their current lair & how to access it. Leonardo suggested they return to New York but setup protection plans for their other allies. Raphael stated that their enemies needed protection not their allies. Once again the brothers, even Raphael waited for Splinter to tell him that was going too far, but he never did. Instead Splinter asked for suggestions on what they should do. Michelangelo raised his hand but put it down. Leonardo told him to say what he wanted to say, but he refused. Finally Splinter harshly told him to speak & Michelangelo murmured that they should ask the Justice Force to apprehend the Purple Dragons. Raphael jumped up & yelled that they Purple Dragons were his, but Michelangelo argued that they needed to do other things & if Casey took down as many as he did the Justice Force had a better chance to catch them then the policed did. Before Raphael could argue his point, Leonardo asked him which was more important dealing with the Foot or the Purple Dragons as they couldn't do both. Raphael punched the ground & told Michelangelo to call them & get it over with before he got back to New York. Michelangelo made the call & Nobody stated that the Justice Force would be overkill regardless of what they did, but he was personally planning to handle it. When Michelangelo delivered the message Raphael asked Venus to send him home cause Nightwatcher was going to help. Feeling a little better after the meeting, Michelangelo jumped up & yelled that the Turtle Titan was going to fight as well. Splinter allowed it, but warned Raphael not to kill anyone. The Foot Clan was a different problem, but they were not going to start killing street thugs. This prompted Donatello to ask if they were allowed to kill the Foot Clan, which Splinter didn't give an answer to. Within the week, the Turtles had created a plan finally & intended to finish everything with the Foot Clan hopefully for good.
