H2O Just Add Water 5

Batman and the rest of the BatClan minus Peter, and Tony were still at the meeting when Batman's phone rings. Everyone looked at him in disbelief. He glared at them and answered. "Hello-" he was cut off by a panicked Tony and a sobbing Peter. "Hey we have a HUGE CLOWN PROBLEM IN NEW YORK! GET HERE QUICK!" The call ended abruptly.

He put his phone away and stood up. "We have to go. The Joker is attacking New York?" He said and ran to a zeta tube with the rest of the BatClan right behind him. The league ran to follow them. Everyone used a zeta tube and headed to New York. Batman explained the call he had with Ironman to keep everyone updated.

Apparently Joker and Black Manta are causing trouble in New York. "Batman, is this a team up of sorts?" Aquaman asked with concern.

"Unlikely."

Once the Justices league was in New York they went straight to Avengers tower. There was an open window and the green lanterns helped the BatClan with the use of their rings.

Once Batman's feet touched the ground he was immediately at his Son's side. He took Peter from Tony and whispered comforting words in his son's ear. Once Peter realized his father was there, she instantly relaxed.

While Batman was in Daddybats mode the rest of the league was getting more information on Black Manta and The Joker. Once they had everything they needed the league and avengers sprung into action.

Peter still wasn't comfortable fighting the Joker so he stayed out of this fight for obvious reasons. Nobody held it against him. He stayed with Fury.

With the MerPeople

The King, Prince , and Princess Were making sure everything was perfect for the welcome party. " This goes over there Shelly." Arielle informed her servant and friend. Shelly began to rearrange the centerpieces.

"Like this?" The girl said moving the centerpiece more to the right.

Arielle took a look at it and smiled. "Perfect." She said pleased.

Shelly let out a sigh of relief and went to do the next task. Arielle followed her friend and loyal servant. The next task was to make sure the bedrooms were in order.

They arrived at the sleeping quarters and found that the rooms were in disarray. Shelly looked at her friend and gulped in fear. Arielle's eyes were burning with a fury that could bring their strongest soldier to their knees.

She swam up to another servant with black hair and blue eyes. She was floating in place and filing her nails. She acted like she was the queen of the sea. The other servants were busy cleaning the rooms and hallways. Shelly even began helping out. A male servant looked up from where he was dusting and saw Princess Arielle coming their way and she looked angry. He quickly moved out of her way.

He followed her with his eyes to see who could have possibly been foolish enough to anger the Princess. His eyes soon landed on a particular mermaid with beautiful long black hair and blue eyes. He sighed. Of course it was her. She was the only servant brave enough or stupid enough to defy the Princess.

He continued to clean but he also watched what would transpire between the Princess and the disobedient servant. Other servants did the same. Continued to work but watched the scene before them. A dark skinned mermaid whispered to an Asian looking merman and the merman shook his head in disbelief and disappointment.

"Felicia!" Princess Arielle shouts. The mermaid in question ignores the shouts and continues to file her nails. The princess stopped in front of her and took the nail file out of her hand.

Felicia sighed and looked up at the fuming princess before her. She rolled her eyes and spoke. "Can I help you?" She said very disrespectfully.

Gasps and whispers came from the other servants. They couldn't believe that she talked that way in front of the princess.

Princess Arielle inhaled deeply and released a breath of air. She mentally told herself to not let the arrogant mermaid in front of her get under her scales. In a calm tone she responded. " Felicia, I need you to clean. This celebration is very important. I need you to start pulling your weight." Arielle said.

Felicia looked at her with an arrogant expression and said " I do what I want when I want. You aren't my boss. So if you will please give me my nail file back."

Everyone stares at her in disbelief. More whispers were heard from the servants around them. Arielle was about to explode when the king and prince came down the hall of the sleeping quarters.

They floated beside Arielle. The king was the one to speak. " What's going on here? Why are the sleeping quarters a mess?" He asked, looking directly at Felicia. The once arrogant and cocky mermaid was now facing the king and lets just say she was now showing fear.

She started to stutter. "My-My King I-I-I

was just discussing what my next task was with Princess Arielle." She said hoping the king believed her lie.

Poseidon glared at her and said " Get back to work." He knew she was lying but he didn't have time to deal with her foolish behavior. There was so much that had to be done.

Felicia began to do exactly what the King said and got to work.

The royal family swam away to see if the other servants were doing what they were told. There was no time to waste. Everything had to be perfect.

In New York

The battle with the avengers and Justice league was over and the Joker and Black Manta Were sent to their respective prisons. It turned out that it was indeed a team up.

It turned out that they both were buying some illegal weapons from a local crime syndicate but the league and avengers showed up before any transaction happened.

The league and the avengers went their separate ways. Leaving the BatClan and Ironman alone. Tony looked at his brother and smiled. " We should go pick up Bambi from shield hq and get back to our vacation." He said.

"Couldn't agree more." Bruce said.

They got the kid and went to the nearest zeta tube and went back to Mako Island. Where they were greeted by Alfred and Pepper. They quickly went into the house to change into their swimsuits so they could play in the water. Ever since their little adventure they've found that they are more drawn to the water. They didn't know what that meant but they figured they would as Arielle and Asher on their next visit. They had a feeling that it would be soon.

Another game of beach volleyball later

After Tony's team won. They decided to go for a swim and explore. Alfred and Pepper decided to go back into the house while the others explored. Just as they were about to begin their journey through the water. Three figures came to the surface. Two of them the group already knew but the third one was new.

He looked like someone of authority. He had a warm smile on his face. Just like the other two. Damien and Tim quickly swam back to shore to inform Alfred and Pepper of the arrival of their guests.

A few minutes later they returned with Alfred and Pepper in their swimsuits. They all got into the water. The three merpeople swam closer to them. Asher and Arielle hugged them all. While the third floated there he was A merman like Asher. Once all the hugging stopped. Asher and Arielle swam towards the other merman.

They both smiled as Arielle introduced him. "This is King Poseidon," she said. The King of the sea swam up to Bruce and hugged him. Then he hugged Tony and the kids. Damien was the first one to ask the question the kids were all thinking. "You're our new grandfather?" He asked curiously.

Poseidon smiled. "Yes, young one I am."

Damien swam up to the sea king and did the unexpected. He hugged him. Poseidon let out a hearty and heartfelt laugh. Dick and Peter were the next ones to hug him. Soon all the kids hugged him and Tony introduced Pepper as his girlfriend.

Poseidon liked her. He said she rememinded him of his late wife. Bruce was saddened at the fact that he couldn't introduce Selina to his father. He would have to bring her on their next trip to Mako.

Poseidon saw the look of sadness on his son's face and place a comforting hand on his shoulder. " I'm sure I'd love her as well." He said.

Bruce was taken aback by the fact that he knew exactly what he was feeling. Only Alfred, Dick, and Cassandra could read him that well. He wanted to ask how he knew but he didn't know how to ask that question. So Poseidon answered for him.

He smiled, "It's a father thing." He said looking at Alfred with a smile. Which he returned. He swam towards the butler and hugged him and thanked him for taking good care of his family.

"It was my pleasure sir. They are my family as well." He said.

Before they forget the reason they came to the surface Asher cleared his throat. All eyes were on him. " Father, I must remind you the reason why we came to the surface." He said.

"Ah yes that you son."

Poseidon pulled out a scroll and handed it to Alfred. Who began to read it out loud. " You are cordially invited. To a celebration in your honor. In the kingdom of Mako."

"A celebration for what?" Duke asked.

Arielle smiled and clapped her hands. " A celebration to welcome you all into your new family and home." Her smile never faltered.

"WOW! we will have a party in our honor." Tim said, amazed.

"Of course you do young ones. You are royalty." Poseidon said.

"When is the party?" Jason asked.

"In a few hours. So if you want any of your superhero friends to come I suggest you bring them here soon." Asher said.
