"Why is getting a A in makeup so important anyway?" Adrien asked, as he sat in Marinette's desk chair as she gathered her makeup things.

"Because you know as well as me that makeup is as important as designing looks and outfits." "Its not like I don't want to help you out, love. I just wanted to get some fresh air today."

Today was "clear day" meaning the Supreme hadn't destroyed anything yet today, and Marinette couldn't blame her boyfriend. "Maybe later if there's time."

She started on his eyelids and Adrien sighed, loving the soft feeling of her hands. He wasn't hugged much at home, due to his father's busy job. "Does that feel nice?" Marinette asked, and Adrien blushed slightly. "Like a butterfly's wing. You have no idea how much I crave your touch, my love."

"Do you think it will ever get better?" Marinette broke into his thoughts. "Our parents not ignoring us?" Adrien laughed softly. "I've come to think of our relationship like Romeo and Juliet." "Why? Our parents aren't feuding. In fact, they barely know each other." "We'll marry one day and run away, if the Supreme doesn't get us first."

Marinette had to be careful that the makeup pencil she held didn't snap in her grip. "I vow that won't happen. Okay, you can sit up and I can-" Her words were cut off as Adrien leaned forward, kissing her.

"Thanks," she gasped, her heart stuttering to find its rhythm. "Maybe you should paint me with a mask" Adrien grinned. Marinette laughed, shaking her head. Like masks, makeup could help hide their expressions when they felt alone, but today was for school and for fun. For today and someday forever, they had found each other, no makeup required to be loved.
