January 11th dear diary today was an absolutely crazy day mom came from the hospital. She is still recovering but will be back at work tomorrow. Dad is on the injured reserve list. He has 2 broken fingers after he caught them in the door of the shop. We all have a nasty cold so mom is staying at Susie's so she doesn't get the babies sick. The shop is being ran by moms assistants with help from Susie and I. She is anxious to get back to work. I am signing off as I need lots and lots of rest.
January 30th dear diary sorry I haven't written in a long time we have all had bronchitis and spent minimum a night at the hospital. We are mostly on the mend but still need breathing treatments. We have all started a local home school program. This is so much better for our group as we can learn at our own pace. So far we love using this system and are learning so much better. We were able to see the babies yesterday through a special window. This was so special and Clara keeps calling the twins her babies. Signing off mom wants me to help her wash the dishes.
February 1st dear diary we spent today working on the new nursery and finishing some other home improvement projects. We were so busy that we didn't even stop for lunch so as a treat dad ordered from the good pizza place. We only get this for special occasions as its pretty expensive to feed all of us compared to the usual place. We then had cake to celebrate Daniel's birthday and watched a movie. Signing off I'm not feeling the greatest.
February 11th dear diary sorry I didn't write sooner I had a bad bladder infection and was on hospital grade medicine. I just returned home yesterday after a week long stay in the hospital. While I was sick we lost my great uncle Joey to old age he was 85. we also learned that my grandma has a bad memory disease she recently moved in to the basement guest suite. Along with dads aunt who lost her husband last year she has the same thing as grandma. Signing off its time to take my pills and get in bed.
February 14th dear diary only have a few minutes to write as we have to go to Ohio we lost great aunt Clara last night at age 90. dads staying here to be with the twins and Clara. Mom feels like she's a bit young to be at a funeral and dad agrees. in our family you have to be 5 or older to attend these events as they are hard to under stand. We will not be home for almost a month I will write asap.
March 14th dear diary we got home the 10th and just 2 days later the twins were released from the hospital. We love having them home we discovered they both have severe spastic Cerebral palsy. This means they may never walk but you know what its not even that big of a deal. In our family all us girls have some form of a disability. I'm autistic and was diagnosed 3 years ago with a joint disorder, Elsie has down syndrome Emma is missing her right arm below the elbow. Clara is deaf, Rebecca is blind in her right eye. And Savannah has a learning disability. Signing off mom needs me to take a turn walking Sarah around she is dealing with colic poor baby.
April 10th dear diary we received some extremely bad news yesterday my cousin Robert was sadly killed in action. I haven't really found out any details which I guess is a good thing. I'm struggling with a ton of emotion and the others are as well since in just my friend group we lost my cousin a family friend of Phil and Lil, and Susie's brother buster, this was all within the last 6 months and Susie's brother Edwin lost his right leg above the knee in the same attack that killed my cousin. Signing off for several days we need to get to Virginia.
April 30th dear diary we arrived home late yesterday from a very emotional trip. He was buried with full honors which while sad was also an amazing thing to see. We also spent time visiting a few possible wedding locations for Christine as she wants to be married on September 15th next year it would have been her parents golden anniversary. She has decided to be married in the same church she was raised in and the reception will be at the lake house her father built when she was not even a year old. This house is special to my mom as its where her and my bio dad were married when she was expecting me. They were married at 18 yes she was a teen mom but who really cares. Signing off we are heading to see friends a few hours away from here for a while.
May 10th dear diary we got back from our trip late last night as we had car trouble. We wont be home much till after the 4th of July as we are heading up to Main for a celebration of life for dads aunt and his brother. From there the kids Emma's age and up are heading to a month long summer camp which I have attended since I was a year younger then she is now.
