Marinette's hands sweated as she stared at herself in the mirror. "Do I look pretty?" she asked, Tikki. Her Kwami nodded vigorously, and Marinette sighed. She still wasn't used to being pretty, for she was known as the shy girl in class.
Interestingly enough, it was Claw who had helped her become more bold, and she loved having him as a partner, even though she concealed it well. It was almost a shock to find Adrien Agreste under the mask, but even more so after he saw her, he stuck around.
Adrien. Soft blonde hair she was itching to run her fingers through, a shy smile, would his lips liked to be kissed? Goodness, she was blushing, and it was only the first date!
A text vibrated from her phone on her desk, signaling Adrien was here. She walked downstairs, said a little prayer and opened the door.
"Evening, Fancy Bug," he bowed, then straightening giving her a wink. "Hey," she said. "I hope you like McDonald's," he blushed. "Do you like to purr?" she giggled, and Adrien slipped his hand in his.
Marinette couldn't remember when she had laughed or talked this much, and she didn't feel nervous. Okay, there was some fluttering, but, hey, that was natural. Was it because they were partners? Or was it because they were soulmates?
When Adrien returned her later that evening she asked for a hug. "Love you, Fleabag," she mumbled into his jacket. Adrien chuckled. "Never thought I'd hear you utter those words, Cockroach." He pressed a kiss to her forehead, and pulled back a little, when Marinette grew bold, closing the distance between their lips.
Claw or Adrien, it didn't matter if he choose to wear the mask. They would be just fine together, a fashion designer and model, together at last.
