F3: Welcome to chapter 2 of RWBY Volume 6. Last time with left off Ruby and company were on their way to Argus but now they have grimm to deal with as well. Meanwhile Coco is making her way to Wind Path. RWBY is property of Rooster Teeth. With that said Let's Get Started.
Volume 6-2: Battle of the Unlimited.
Weiss, Ruby, May, and Nora were blasting away at the grimm that were trying to descend onto the train while the others formed a line to make sure none of them got to the passengers. May checked her radar as she noticed more grimm had just showed up.
"Damnit we've got more grimm coming in! I think their lancers!" May shouted.
"That's not good. How many of them?" Adam asked.
"Five no six of them. One of them is the queen!" May answered as she fired at the grimm on the cliffs. Just like May said six large bugs with a three segmented black body and three sets of legs with white armored mask and four overlapping plates along their abdomen. They have jagged pincers, antenna, and four red transparent wings and a stinger. However, the queen looks much larger with seven overlapping plates.
The lancers reeled back their abdomen looking to fire their stingers as Summer saw this motion.
"Everyone move!" Summer ordered just as the lancers fired their stingers at them, they were able to dodge them in time. However, this made those firing from a distance stop shooting giving the grimm on the cliffs time to jump onto the back of train.
"Front line don't let them near the passengers!" Summer shouted readying her weapon as everyone else charged at the grimm. Cardin bashed himself into a beowolf knocking it back while Jaune came up from behind him slashing at it with his sword slashing at its stomach. The beowolf angered by the attack lunged at Jaune to cut at him with its claws but Jaune raised his shield to block it allowing Cardin to swing his mace at the grimm this time killing it.
Neo and Star were dealing with the sphinx as it tried swiping at them but they were quicker as they ducked his swipe leaving an opening to attacks its head. Neo using the hidden blade of her weapon to slash at the crest of the grimm but it had little effect as the grimm roared blowing Neo back allowing Star to take overusing her gun breakers to bash into the beasts armored skulled.
The sphinx did not take to kindly of its being attack as it swung its massive paw at Star sending her flying back toward Neo. She landed next to Neo as the grimm roared at them loudly.
"I got an idea. I will break it and you finish it. Sound good." Star said as Neo nodded.
The sphinx charged at them as it pounced in the air looking to maw them. Neo and Star ducked underneath it to escape it. Once its back was turned Star focused her semblance as two more tails sprouted from her back. She switched to her weapons gunner mode and started blasting at the sphinx aim for the crest on the head trying to crack it but they were only pelted off its face.
The grimm roared from the annoyance of its prey as it ran at them. Star focused more of her semblance as a fourth tail appeared switching back to her weapon's standard mode but this time, she held her ground as she waited for the grimm to get close. She reeled back her right hand back with all her might and slammed her gun breaker right into the grimms crest stopping the grimm in its tracks the crest on its head cracked as the monster reeled back in pain.
"Neo now!" Star ordered as Neo sped forward at the grimm with a target in sight. She unsheathed her hidden blade and jumped at the sphinx, grabbed onto its head, and plunged her blade deep between the crack as the monster roared trying to throw Neo off but instead it fell the ground evaporating into dust.
"Nice. Let's go help the others." Star said they went to assist the others.
Adam, Blake, and Weiss were dealing with the larger beowolfs as the larger grimm tried swiping at the three to no effect as Blake used her shadow to escape the attack and elegantly parried the second one slashing it in the chest but its armor was too thick to penetrate.
"Got an idea?" Blake asked.
"Go for its neck or legs. Their less armored there." Adam ordered.
The beowolfs let out a howl before attack the three of them. However, this time Blake used her semblance to make clones of herself as now there was four of her.
"Fire, Ice flank right. Lightning the left." Blake ordered.
"Yes ma'am." The three Blake clones answered as they charged at the grimm with Blake heading straight down the middle.
The second alpha beowolf tried to slash at Adam but he unsheathed his blade out of his sheath to block it absorbing the blow into his sword. Weiss fired a blast from her prosthetic hitting the grimm square in the head but it did not kill it as now it was looking at Weiss as the next target.
The distraction was enough for Adam to strike at the beast's right arm as his blade cut through it but it did not kill the grimm immediately as it only angered it roaring at the two.
"Weiss. Cross left." Adam ordered as she crossed in front of him as he crossed on her left. The alpha noticed this as it went to swipe at Weiss but with the loss of its other limb made it unstable to attack which gave them the opportunity to finish it.
"It's not much but it'll have to do." Adam said as he placed a hand on the hilt triggering his semblance as his hair started to glow red. Weiss slid underneath the alpha beowolf as she slashed at its legs unbalancing the grimm making it fall forward in which Adam unsheathed his blade unleashing his Moon Slice cutting the head off the grimms shoulders as it evaporated into dust.
He then sheathed his blade after using his semblance.
Just at that time Blake and her clones had finished with the other alpha beowolf as her clones exploded into a combination of fire, ice and lightning killing the grimm.
"Let's go help the others." Weiss said as the three went to the others to back them up.
Meanwhile everyone was trying to hold back the flying grimm but they were starting to get overwhelmed but Summer started to notice something that she has not seen in the grimm do before.
"They're being too coordinated. Like they are trying to keep us busy but for what?" Summer thought as she shot at another lancer but then she noticed what the grimm were all doing. Jaune, Cardin, and Nora were dealing with a Beringal but it looked like it was trying to throw them aside. May and Ruby were dealing with the lancers flying above.
Neo, Star, and Yang were dealing with lancers and a sphinx. However, she noticed that Velvet and Iona were trying to assist Raven in dealing with the grimm around them.
"Wait a minute... that's it!" Summer thought as she figured it out.
"Guys! It is not the passengers they are drawn to. They are attracted to the relic!" Summer called out.
"What!? It is the relic they are attracted too!" Raven shouted looking at the relic strapped to her hip.
"Ruby. We are approaching a tunnel in approximately two minutes. I advise withdrawing to the inside." Penny replied from Ruby's scroll.
"Guys we have a tunnel incoming! We need to get back inside now!" Ruby called out.
"Alright everyone inside! Now!" Summer ordered as everyone slipped between the train as they managed to get inside as the tunnel was approaching. Weiss and Adam were the last to get inside as they just managed to slip in as the train entered the tunnel.
The train rattled on through the tunnel as the passengers were frightened by the grimm that were outside.
"This is bad. We need to figure out how to get away from the grimm or this will start all over again." Jaune said.
"The Argus has a defense system that would be useful in dealing with the grimm." Penny suggested.
"Yes, but the turrets will only attract more grimm and that's something we don't need." Summer added.
"What about just activating the shields?" Ruby asked.
"Impossible. Activating the shields will trigger the turrets as well." Penny added.
"How long will it be till we are out of this tunnel?" Blake asked.
"In about five minutes. We are approaching very fast." Penny said.
However, that's when Adam produced an idea that sounded like it could work.
"We cut the train car." Adam replied getting everyone's attention.
"What? But are you sure that will work. We would have to get the other passengers to the front of the train." Weiss replied.
"That's nuts!" Nora added.
"I know it's not the greatest plan but it'll work. However, the difficult part is distracting the grimm so that they don't come after the passengers and only focus on us." Adam said.
"I'll assist in that. Summer said that there after the relic so I'll join in to keep them busy." Raven said joining in.
"Okay. Ruby, Neo, Weiss we are going to need you three as well. I'll help as well." Adam said.
"Velvet, Cardin, Oscar. You three as well. The rest of you get the passengers to the front cars we don't want any innocent person getting hurt." Adam added as they nodded.
"We are approaching the end of the tunnel. I recommend immediate action." Penny said from the scroll.
"Alright gang let's get this done." Adam said as they split up into their groups but before they left Yang stopped her mother a moment grabbing hold of her arm as she looked back their eyes meeting a moment.
"Just... be careful." Yang said.
"Same to you." Raven replied before they separated but Yang could not help but worry for both her mother and sister hoping that they will be okay. She felt Blake touch her shoulder turning to meet her amber eyes.
"They'll be fine. C'mon let's get these people to safety." Blake said as they did what they were ordered.
Just like Penny said they left the tunnel as the train was now exposed to the elements as the grimm were waiting for the train. Adams group got up on the train as the grimm descended on them.
Ruby received a message from Yang saying that all the passengers have been cleared to the front cars.
"Alright all the passengers have been moved." Ruby said.
"Good, Weiss get ready to cut the cables." Adam said as the Nevermores prepared to swoop in on them. Weiss drew her weapon as she was above the spot to cut the cables.
The nevermores cawed and swooped in at their prey aiming for Raven as she activated her maiden powers.
"NOW!" Adam ordered and just like that Weiss cut the cables severing their connections with the front train cars as the front cars were speeding faster ahead of them.
"Here they come!" Oscar shouted as he extended his cane.
Velvet pulled out her short sword as the flock of nevermores attack them.
Ruby fired from Thorn Gear trying to hit the grimm, but they were wiser they she thought as they were avoiding her shots. Raven began blasting the grimm with ice shards hitting their wings and body killing two of them. Adam fired from his shotgun blush as the grimm got close hitting the lower body killing another one.
Velvet ducked underneath a nevermore narrowly avoiding it as she took her short sword and stabbed it in the lower body making to caw in pain as Neo took her hidden blade and stabbed underneath its beck killing it.
"Something isn't right. Our defenses are holding so they aren't getting through so why they persist." Oscar asked himself as he analyzed the situation but then he noticed above them that an alpha sphinx was flying above them as it opened its mouth with fire in its mouth.
"Oh crap. Guys get inside now!" Oscar shouted but it was too late as the grimm shot a fireball at the train causing it to fly off the rails with everyone else on top sending everyone flying to the bottom below. The nevermore and the sphinx circled the area before flying away from the location their job completed.
Down below the smoke from the train cars was ascending to the sky as below the remain train cars were a complete wreck as everyone that participated in the crash was currently unconscious. Cardin was the first to stir groaning as he woke up although he was going to have quite the headache. He stood up righting himself before seeing where he was. It did not take him long to find the others as they were nearby all in the snow.
He saw Velvet nearby laying in the snow as he went over to her to check up on her.
"Hey Vel? You okay bun?" Cardin questioned touching her shoulder getting her to stir.
She groaned holding her head as she slowly sat up "Yeah. Just going to have a headache for a while." Velvet said.
"Take it slow I'll check on the others." Cardin said as he went to see where the others are. Thankfully, everyone else was nearby as Adam was also up and about from the crash along with Oscar and Ruby who was currently tending to Neo as the young teen flinch at her right arm.
"Yeah, that looks broken. We need to put that in a sling before we get moving." Ruby said before noticing Cardin approach them.
"Hey you made it. Nothing broken?" Ruby asked.
"Nope. Though Velvets got a big headache after that one." Cardin said before seeing they were missing two people.
"Where's Weiss and Raven?" He asked.
"Guys over here!?" Weiss voice shouted getting all their attention running toward Weiss.
They saw Weiss who was not as worse for wear but they saw Raven lying next to her however she wasn't moving which made Ruby deeply concern.
"Is she…" Ruby started as Weiss checked Raven for a pulse putting two fingers on her neck. Luckily, there was a pulse which meant that Raven was still alive.
"She's going to be okay. Just unconscious but I'm more worried about the wound on her head." Weiss pointed out as she noticed blood coming from the side of Ravens head.
"That is not good. We can't risk that getting infected or she'll get worse." Adam said which only made Ruby worry more.
"So… what do we do?" She asked.
"First, we check the wreckage for any medical supplies or a first aid kit. Her aura must have shattered when we crashed so there is bound to be some medical supplies on board for those that don't have aura." Adam said.
"Weiss and I will go check for that." Cardin said.
"Good. As for the rest of us we need to find shelter. This cold is only going to get colder as the day goes on. We're going to need to make something to carry Raven on so that it doesn't hurt her and keep her warm until we find shelter." Adam replied.
"Got it." They all said as Weiss and Cardin headed over to the wreckage of the train cars while Oscar, Ruby, and Adam got busy with building something that would carry Raven as Velvet and Neo got busy making a campfire for the time being while also monitoring over the adult.
Weiss and Cardin made it over the wreckage of the train cars as it was all but turned on its side with windows shattered from the impact.
"So, any idea where the medical supplies would be at on a train?" Weiss asked as they focused on getting inside.
"If it were me… I put it somewhere so that I can easily access it and that it wouldn't be a long walk to get to." Cardin said.
With the train on its side Weiss yanked the door open as it fell open to them.
"C'mon it's just this way. Mind the glass." Weiss replied as she climbed in first with Cardin following next. They had to crawl over the seats in order to get to where they were going.
"So where would the medical supplies be?" Weiss asked.
"This is just a guess but I would have to say it would be in the middle of the train. Considering we've basically sliced it in half it should be near the front here." Cardin said.
"Alright so we should be close then." Weiss stated as they got to the end of the train car and into the next one.
The two mainly remained quiet for a few minutes before Cardin spoke up as he had something on his mind.
"Hey um… I know this might be a little late but I want to say I'm sorry." Cardin suddenly said, making Weiss pause a moment.
"For what?" Weiss asked.
"For those few weeks at Beacon. When I blackmailed you after finding out that you were a Schnee. I was a complete jerk back then." Cardin replied.
"Yeah, you were a jerk back then but that's the past and this is now. You've grown past all that. Heck you've made friends with Velvet after you bullied her for a while." Weiss added.
"You got a point. Though what I'm surprised about is you and Adam. Since when that happened?" Cardin questioned.
Weiss blush slightly "Well… it didn't start out like that. Eventually we warmed up to each other. We even went on a few dates during our break." Weiss said.
"That's great. You deserve to be happy." Cardin replied. They got to the front of the train car and noticed a storage compartment that was nearby. Weiss opened it revealing a white container with a red plus sign on it.
"This must be It. Let's get it back to the campsite." Weiss said as she grabbed it and the two started to exit the train car and began walking back to the campsite.
They saw that Adam had made a fire to warm Raven up so she wouldn't get cold. Ruby and Oscar were busy making some kind of sled out of what metal around that had fallen near them. Neo and Velvet were on the side with Neo still clutching her right arm.
"We're back." Weiss said holding up the first aid kit.
"It's not much but it should do." Cardin said as they started tending to Raven and Neo.
Weiss headed over to Neo and carefully wrapped her arm in protective wrapping before putting it into a sling. Meanwhile Adam and Ruby took care of Raven as they wrapped protective gauze around her head preventing any more bleeding.
"Alright we've got the bleeding to stop but it's still getting cold out and this fire will not last long." Ruby replied said.
"Are there any villages nearby?" Weiss asked.
However, something caught Adams eye as he saw a tree that was nearby but despite it still being cold it was still bearing fruit and one of the fruits was lying on the ground. It was a pomegranate fruit and almost immediately he realized where they were.
"Everyone… I know where we are." Adam said.
"Where are we?" Velvet asked.
"This is a pomegranate. These can grow in wintery areas such as this. But more importantly… these are what my family farm." Adam said.
"So… wait a minute. Does that mean we're near your home?" Weiss said.
"Yes. If I'm right then my families place should be that way." Adam added pointing north of where they are.
"Alright. Penny are communications up?" Ruby asked Penny.
"Negative. We are currently out of range." Penny stated.
"Guess we've got no choice. Let's head to Adam home and maybe we can get a stronger signal." Ruby replied.
"Okay. We put Raven on the sled and we get to the house. If luckily, we'll get there before noon." Adam said.
Cardin and Velvet gently put Raven on the sled as Ruby put her cloak over her to keep her warm. Weiss removed her jacket as well and placed it over Ruby's cloak for extra warmth.
"You sure you'll be okay without your jacket Weiss?" Oscar asked, noticing what little clothing was underneath leaving Weiss in nothing but her shorts, her top, and her shoes also it allowed her tail to breathe.
"I'll be fine. When you come from Atlas your body tends to adjust to the cold. This is barely enough to call it cold." Weiss said.
"Alright then. Let's get moving." Adam said as the group set off. Ruby took the honor of carrying her aunts' weapon and the relic with her as Cardin and Oscar lift the sled with Raven on it and walked behind Adam and Weiss as Neo, and Velvet walked next to Ruby. Adam hoped that they would make it there and wait until Raven wakes up so that they could meet back up with the others soon.

Meanwhile it didn't take Coco long to reach where she wanted to be despite of what the woman had said. She was now wearing a light brown robe worn over a white shirt and pants with a shawl, sash, and skirt of a matching dark brown color, with black socks and light brown sandals. She keeps her grimm arm covered just in case she needs to use it.
However, there was one place that she knew where she needed to go. She came to a small tavern that looked too new to be rundown. She entered the tavern and immediately people noticed her come in but Coco didn't pay them any mind as she was staring at the woman she wanted to speak to.
The woman is a middle-aged heavy-set woman with light skin and short blond hair kept in a bob haircut. On her left shoulder is a spider web tattoo, a beauty mark under her right eye, lipstick on her upper lip and purple nail polish. The top of her dress is white and backless, with long sleeves with beads and straps, in purple. She wears a purple corset and a long-pleated skirt that is yellow on its top layer, purple in the middle one, and white in the lower layer. She wears brown shoes decorated with a green ribbon.
Coco slightly grinned knowing she had found the woman she was searching for that could help her.
"Lil' Miss Malachite I presume." Coco replied walking toward the woman.
"Just who are you? No what I don't care. Get out before you get yourself hurt missy." The lady stated rudely.
"Rude much. I thought Lady Browning's Preparatory Academy would've taught you some manners." Coco stated which caught the woman's attention.
"And just how do you know about that?" Malachite asked.
"That's not important. However, word on the street is that you are an infamous broker for information and that's exactly what I need." Coco replied.
"And just why should I help you? My information doesn't come free girly." Malachite stated.
"Oh, I may look young to you but I assure you I'm older than I look. So, here's what you're going to do for me. There is this person I'm looking for and I want to know where she is going." Coco stated.
"What? Former lover I presume." Malachite said which made Coco huff.
"Let's just say I have a score to settle." Coco said.
"And like I said my information isn't cheap. So, unless you have lien to offer then I suggest you beat it." Malachite stated firmly.
"I have something better than lien I can offer." Coco teased flexing her fingers into a fist.
"I what would that be?" Malachite asked curiously leaning forward on the table.
"Why… your life's of course. Give me the information I want and I won't burn this entire place down to the ground and kill everyone here in the process." Coco offered.
They were silent for the moment but then Malachite laughed as well as the patrons of the tavern.
"Now that is funny. I've needed a good laugh. Boys escort miss circus act out of my tavern." She ordered.
However, just before one of her men could touch her, she unsheathed her weapon stabbed the man through the stomach. She yanked her weapon out of him as he fell to the ground, blood pooling out of his stomach.
"Get her!" One of them shouted but Coco wasn't fazed by them as she slashed at another one's neck nearly cutting his head off before attacking another one stabbing at his heart killing him instantly.
The other patrons of the tavern started to grow weary of the woman in front of them seeing her kill not one but three people with hesitation as it even made Malachite growl in annoyance.
"Now… the information." Coco replied pointing her sword at Malachite threating to do harm to her as well.
"Just… who were you looking for again?" Malachite asked.
Coco grinned seeing that she had made the right choice "Her name is Ruby Rose. She has silver eyes, black and red hair, around sixteen years old." Coco answered, sheathing her weapon.
"I should have something within two hours or so." Malachite stated.
"You have one. I don't want to be kept waiting." Coco said as she walked out of the tavern grinning devilishly as if she would get payback for the humiliation on that day.
"An eye for an eye." Coco said to herself as all she could do is wait until they could provide her with what she wanted.
F3: And that ends chapter 2 of volume 6. Ruby and company are alive and well and are heading toward Adams family home. Meanwhile Coco looks for information of their whereabouts.
