Amber cautiously approached Dante, her bow in hand, though the tension in her shoulders softened as she surveyed the battlefield. The unconscious Hilichurls scattered around painted a picture of effortless devastation. Her chest rose and fell with the remnants of adrenaline, but disbelief flickered across her face as she stopped a few paces away.

"That was… incredible!" Amber said, her voice a mix of awe and lingering tension. Her eyes scanned Dante, noting how casually he spun his pistols before holstering them with a flourish. "I've never seen anyone fight like that. You didn't just defeat them—you made it look like… like a performance. Were you dancing?"

Dante turned to her, a sly grin curling at the corner of his lips. "Of course. What can I say, sweetheart? I like to put on a show. Gotta keep the audience entertained, right?" His tone was light, playful, yet it carried an unshakable confidence.

Amber blinked, her mind grappling with the absurdity of his response. "You call that a show? It was like something out of a dream… or maybe a nightmare, if you're one of those Hilichurls."

Before Dante could reply, Paimon zipped forward, fists raised in excitement. "Dante's amazing! Paimon's never seen anyone like him before! The way he took down those other Hilichurls earlier—it was so cool! They didn't stand a chance!"

Dante chuckled, tipping an imaginary hat. "Name's Dante, by the way. Professional demon hunter, part-time entertainer. And you must be Amber, right? Outrider for the Knights of Favonius?"

Amber nodded, trying to recompose herself as she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "That's right. I patrol Mondstadt and keep it safe. But… it seems like you've got things more than handled." She hesitated, her voice softening. "Thanks for stepping in. I… don't think I could've managed that alone."

"No problem, babe." Dante said, folding his arms with an easy grin. "But I'll admit, I'm not exactly the charitable type. I'm gonna need some kind of… compensation." He leaned in slightly, his voice dropping to a teasing lilt. "How about you join me for dessert?"

Amber's cheeks flushed, and she took a small step back, her fingers brushing nervously against the string of her bow. "D-Dessert? Like… what? Are you asking me on a date or something?"

Dante's smirk widened, his eyes gleaming with mischief. "Well, you said it, not me."

Amber's blush deepened as she stammered, "I-I didn't mean it like that!" Her lips twitched, betraying the faintest smile, and she looked away, trying to regain her composure.

Paimon giggled, floating over to Amber. "Hah! Paimon thinks Amber's blushing way too much for someone who 'didn't mean it like that!'"

Amber shot Paimon a quick glare but couldn't suppress a nervous laugh. "It's not every day you meet someone who fights like… that." she muttered, glancing back at Dante. "And besides, I guess I do owe you for the help. Maybe a treat wouldn't be the worst idea…"

"Now we're talking." Dante's grin softened, turning into something more genuine. "How about a strawberry sundae? Been way too long since I've had one, and they're my favorite."

Amber blinked, caught off guard. "Strawberry sundaes? That's… not what I expected from someone like you."

Dante raised an eyebrow, his grin turning playful again. "Oh? And what did you expect? Whiskey and cigars? I'm full of surprises, sweetheart."

Amber laughed softly, some of her nerves melting away. "Well, I can't argue with that. If it's your first time in Mondstadt, we might as well make it memorable. Good Hunter makes a mean sundae."

"Perfect." Dante said with a wink. "Lead the way, babe."

Amber turned, still smiling despite herself, and began guiding him back toward the city. As they walked, Paimon floated up to Dante, her expression curious. "You've got quite the way with words, huh? Paimon bets you're used to making girls blush."

Dante chuckled, resting his hands behind his head. "What can I say? Comes with the territory. And with company this cute, it's hard not to flirt."

Amber stumbled slightly, her face heating up again. "You're unbelievable.." she muttered, though the laughter in her voice betrayed her amusement.

As the trio approached Mondstadt's gates, the tension of the earlier battle seemed to dissipate entirely. Amber found her gaze drifting toward Dante, studying the effortless confidence in his stride and the warmth hidden beneath his teasing demeanor. There was something magnetic about him—something that made the idea of sharing a strawberry sundae almost… exciting.

Brushing the thought away, Amber cleared her throat and quickened her pace. "Come on," she said, her voice steady once more. "If you're going to keep showing off, you'll need plenty of energy. Let's get that sundae before you cause any more trouble."

Dante's laughter echoed behind her, smooth and rich. "Trouble? Me? Never." But the glint in his eyes said otherwise.
