A/N Mara, to answer your questions, undoing every wish Anyanka ever made going back a thousand plus years would change the world in unimaginable ways. We know from canon she granted a wish that kick-started the Russian Revolution, the implications on that alone could fill volumes and result in a vastly different world. The possibilities are beyond endless and I don't know where'd I'd start on writing a story like that, although the possibilities are definitely interesting.

Next, the implications of Lothos still being around in this story and maybe being an enemy of Wolfram and Hart is something I hadn't considered but now I am. After all, if Angel can let Darla and Drusilla kill a bunch of their lawyers it's not a stretch to imagine Lothos and Peewee Herman killing them either. They have to be responsible for Peewee's Playhouse, right?

A spin off story of this one in which Angelus chooses to take Willow has been niggling in the back of my mind. As I stated in this story, taking Willow would spur both Buffy and Xander into action, but I really do think Xander would do a lot more damage than Buffy, maybe even against Buffy. And as with the Accidental series, it could still result in a very different story. Plus, bonus, Kendra would still be alive and I could bring her into that story and give her more of a life.

Xander woke from a nightmare and fumbled to turn on the light by his bed. Nightmares were nothing new to him, see his father, but ever since he'd discovered vampires were real they'd dominated his nightmares. The blond who'd bit him and other messed up faces killing his friends or worse, seeing friends with those messed up faces.

He worked to get the images out of his mind and eventually fell back into a troubled sleep, grateful that tomorrow instead of school they had a field trip to the Sunnydale Zoo planned. It was promising to be a gorgeous spring day and he wanted to enjoy it as much as possible.

Once it would have been Xander, Jesse and Willow walking through the wide open spaces between the exhibits enjoying the fresh air and the not being in school. Today it was Xander, Jesse and Faith walking through those wide open spaces enjoying the not being in school and the fresh air.

"There's no dirty snow and the air's actually warm!" Faith mock complained. "It's barely a week into April and it feels like the beginning of summer. How do you bear it?"

"We persevere." Xander said stoically. "It's a terrible burden to endure living in Southern California but never having experienced snow I honestly don't know what I'm missing. I think the fact that we have an amazing beach and sun worshiping teenagers and girls that practically live in bikinis during the summer is something you'll just have to get used to."

"I used to go cliff diving at a quarry." Faith told him. "I never made it to the ocean. Is it true it's big?" She grinned playfully.

"You'll just have to find out for yourself." He flirted back, making Jesse roll his eyes. The bantering innuendos between the two was reaching new levels since the bug demon. He was tempted to tell them to get a room, but he didn't think they needed the encouragement.

"I'm going to catch up to Johnathan." He told the two. "And ask him for help on the computer assignment from Ms. Calendar. Try staying out of trouble." He advised the two, reminding Faith that just last week she'd run into a religious nut job vampire after Mr. Giles had reported to Diana that he thought a prophecy about a warrior vampire might be happening. The guy hadn't even realized he'd become a vampire.

Not long after Jesse had headed off Xander and Faith observed four bullies hassling a kid.

"Okay, now I feel at home." Faith said sarcastically. "Bullies, a staple of every school. Come on, X, let's remind them everyone can be prey at some point."

"Just remember, they don't require actual Slaying."

"No prob, I've been dealing with bullies my whole life. Best way to handle them -."

"Don't show fear."

"Yep." She flashed her grin at him, the one that showed the dimple in her cheek. Xander was beginning to really enjoy that smile and provoked it out every chance he could. They reached the four bullies and Faith grabbed the back of the pants of one of them, Kyle Defours and jerked, just hard enough to get his attention, while Xander pried Lance out of Tor Hauer's hands.

"Go find your friends, Lance." Xander told him and Lance scrambled off.

"What do you think you're doing, Harris?" Tor snarled.

"What do you think I'm doing Hauer, have I ever let you get away with bullying someone in front of me? Lance can't fight back, but you already know I can." The two glared at each other and neither was backing down. 'Funny' Xander thought. 'Compared to vampires not even a pack of bullies seems scary.'

Faith ended the staring contest by jerking Kyle's pants up and giving him the beginning of a wedgie. "He's not the only one with a problem with bullies, kiddies. Run along before I break out my black belt."

"Fine." Heidi Barrie, Tor's girlfriend, grabbed his hand. "Come on, Tor, fun's over for now." Tor reluctantly broke off the staring contest and the four bullies moved on.

"Black belt?" Xander smirked remembering Diana say that Faith had inherited an ability to rapidly learn martial arts.

"The belt I'm wearing is black." She grinned again. "And I would have spanked them with it."

"Ohh, kinky." He joked.
