Foggysmoke came to the nursery for the fifth time that evening "hello Frostraven, thanks again for taking care if Goldkit, is he well?"
Frostraven rolled her eyes and Foggysmoke ducked her head "yes, Foggysmoke he's not going to catch redcough in 10 minutes"
Foggysmoke nodded and nervously backed out of the den with her pile of herbs, 'why does Foggysmoke take extra interest in me?'
"Foggysmoke, you have to stop visiting the nursery, otherwise the whole clan will catch on" I meow
Foggysmoke snaps at me "it's not my fault that I have to give away my kit!" She meows
I nervously back out of the den, begging starclan that the whole clan didn't hear her.
As I walk into the rain, I see Frostraven and Fuzzywhisker coming back from a patrol, chatting it up.
I pad up to them "hi" I meow trying to be polite.
Frostraven stares me up and down "hi, Gingerslip" she meows cautiously.
I completely ignore Frostraven, "so, Fuzzywhisker how are you handling Reedthrush's death, hmm?"
Frostraven answers for her a hint of a snarl in her voice, "it was an accident, Gingerslip are you still grieving? You have to let it go, Reedthrush was a very humble cat he wouldn't've wanted you to be obsessing over him" then she padded away.
Fuzzywhisker looked at me "I'm sorry" she meowed
oh, great starclan here comes her sob-story
" I am a murderer" she said surprising me "and I'm definetly going to the dark forest, all I can say is I'm sorry, no matter who the cat is no cat deserves to be murdered"
...
"So, Gingerslip I think you should eat those poppy seeds"
while I eat the seeds with back-to-annoying-Foggysmoke hovering over me I notice a still body in one of the nests.
"I that Weedstep?" I ask
Cinderdawn appears out of nowhere "yes,she died to an infection."
"poor, Eagle" Foggysmoke whispers.
"yeah, yeah poor Eagle, whatever" Cinderdawn flicks his tail dismissivly.
Cinderdawn pads out if the den with a bundle of herbs, probably going to the nursery to check on Goldkit.
If they keep this up Goldkit is going to find out his true parentage in no time.
Health update:Weedstep died, of course, Eagle and Cinderdawn are grieving,Foggysmoke and Frostraven are recovering from birth,
Frostraven is still nursing her kits and now she's nursing Goldkit, Stormsplash has a broken bone, and poor Magpiekit has a stomachache.
