Molly sat in the back seat of the family car, she held Rapture in her hands, caressing his feathers soft as he chirped with enjoyment, the trip to the school was mostly normal with light and simple conversation here and there, mostly about stuff like homework or school grades and normally she would be engaged with theses conversations but today was different, despite how she looked and acted on the outside, internally Molly was fighting the feeling of fear and dread that came with the arrival of ghosts that wished to harm her, the thought of beings travelling across dimensions to get claim her soul scared her to her core, as it would anyone in her position however she tried to stay optimistic about the situation, one thing that helped her was Kai.

To Molly, Kai was a sign that things weren't that bad and made her feel that someone outside of her family and friends was looking out for her and with that information at hand Molly couldn't simply give in to her fears and pushed on with her normal optimistic self however Molly snapped out of her inner thoughts as she felt the car stop making her realise that she was at school.

Sharon and Pete turned face their kids more specifically Molly," Alright we're here, you guys have everything?", Sharon said looking at her children, " Yes", both siblings said, " Good, have a great day and Molly if anything happens I want you and Scratch to find Kai immediately, okay", Sharon said as she reach to place a hand on her, Molly smiled and returned the sentiment, " I will mum", Molly said before leaving the car with Scratch and Rapture.

With one final wave, Sharon and Pete left their kids, leaving them to their school day. Molly took a deep breath and exhaled with calmness, "Ok, there are ghost out there looking for me but I'm not gonna let stop me from having a good day", she says with confidence while she held Rapture" I got Kai and you looking out for me", she says to the bird before putting him in her backpack, " And I got you and Darryl, Scratch", she said looking at both of them, they both nodded in agreement, " Don't worry Mol, we got your back, more than that bird boy, I mean he was supposed to protect you yet he's not even here", Scratch said, pointing out Kai's absence, " I'm sure he's just here, he probably just watching from afar", Molly said knowing full well that Kai was around even if Scratch's comment put a little doubt in her nether the less she, Darryl and Scratch made their way into the School.

15 Minutes Earlier

Kai reappeared on the roof of the school, he walked over to the edge and looked down below at the front entrance, he noticed that it was still somewhat empty meaning he had a chance to scout the school without having the need to hide, with that he wasted no time heading to the roof entrance and went into the school. Once inside Kai walked around the place making sure to check for any signs of ghost activity, the school felt quiet, more quiet than it should be, despite the fact that Kai knew no one was there, he open some of the classrooms doors but they mostly remained empty, " No ghost so far,", he grumbled as he started to ponder if they were even here, " No, they have to be here", he said to himself, just then he footsteps coming, Kai looked in the direction of the sound and was ready to take action, he quietly made his way to a locker and waited beside it, as the footsteps got closer he readied himself, suddenly he turned the corner ready to take on the whatever was their however all Kai did was collide with something or better yet someone.

With an "oof", Kai and whoever he bumped into both fell to the ground, Kai clutched his head for the second time that day, " That's head strike number 2 now", Kai said as he slowly got up, as he did he looked at the person he bumped, it was blue haired girl, wearing a pink hoodie and a purple skirt, " Hey, watch where your going?", the girl said as she too was clutching her head, the girl got up and gave Kai a funny look, Kai noticed the look and slowly scowled at the girl," Can I help you with something or is it an hobby of yours to stare", Kai said clearly showing his displeasure at being gawked at, " Why are you dressed like that?", the girl questioned him, looking up and down at his ninja clothing, " Are you like a part of that cosplay club, I can totally use that for a post for my fans", the girl says as she quickly grabbed her phone, lifted it in the air and pressed a button on it, all the while Kai was beyond baffled as he had no concept of an idea of what this girl was on about and just stood there.

"Hey fandreas, your girl Andrea here with a ninja boy cosplayer", she said as she posed for her phone," What the hell?", Kai said in complete confusion," Anyway, leave a like for your girl, byeee," Andrea said, putting her phone away, Kai reeled back from what just happened and shook his head as he remembered what he doing, " I don't know what that was but I got important stuff to do Anne-drea ", Kai said as he pushed Andrea aside and started walking away, upon hearing her name being said wrong Andrea quickly became irritated," It's pronounce Andrea," She said checking her phone," I don't care", Kai said while walking off, Andrea scoffed at the response, taken aback by the blatant rudeness Kai had shown, she then walked off, Kai looked back and saw her, he rolled his eyes and processed forward.

After a few minutes of searching Kai ended up in the boys bathroom room, he looked around and searched for any signs of ghost activity but found nothing, " Hmm, no ghosts around and Rapture hasn't alerted me yet which means Molly's safe for now", he said as he turned to face the bathroom mirror, " Normally, having no ghosts around is a good thing but in this case it just make my job more of a pain,", he said staring at the mirror, suddenly the school bell rang, " Great, school time, I'll hide on the roof, with this many people about I won't be able to do my job, I don't need that kind of attention on me especially if it like that blue hair girl", Kai said cringing at the memory of his encounter with Andrea, "Raven Queen give me strength", he said to himself with a sigh as he turned away from the mirror however unbeknownst to him, his mirror reflection didn't change, it just stared at him forming a small smile, before Kai could even turn to leave, two arms stretch out of the mirror grabbing him then pulling him into the mirror as if it was water, leaving ripples along the glass until it returned to normal.

Kai was suddenly on the ground after being pulled through the mirror, he quickly got up and put his guard up by unsheathing both his katanas, clutching on to them tightly. As he searched around he noticed that the place he was in looked exactly like the bathroom he was in however it was twisted and off, the walls were covered in this pink veins and there were various stains located about giving the place a disgusting feel to it as if it was infected with virus and was slowly being consumed, this obviously disgusted him and he was about to leave until he heard a laugh come from behind him, without even thinking he pointed his katana to where the laughter came from, he scowled as he saw his smiling reflection slowly change into that of a girl, her skin was slightly pale, her hair was long with bangs that covered her eyes along with a purple bow on her side, her dress was black with white frills and had a waist bang with a skull symbol on it, she wore stripped knee socks and a pair of black shoes.

"You know I was waiting for the pure soul to walk in or some random kid but then I saw you and I knew I had to bring you in", the girl said, her smile constantly mocking Kai as the two stared at each other," You better release me ghost or else I'll send your gothic hide back afterlife!", Kai said with anger," Hmm... I could do that but there's a pure soul out there dying for me to claim and I rather not miss my chance, so bye-bye", the girl said before the mirror started to ripple again, Kai quickly went to stop her but was meet with reflection showing his anger and shock, he slammed his fist on glass cracking it, as he yelled in complete anger only to be meet with a deafening silence.

15 minutes later

(Music Stop)

Molly walked into her morning class, Rapture in her backpack and Scratch was elsewhere looking around the place due to Kai's lack of communication, as she sat down she saw one of her best friends Libby sitting next to her, she gave a warm smile as she turned to talk to her, " Hi Molly, did you see that purple comet flew by last night, I think it landed somewhere in Brighton", Libby said, showing intrigue," Oh, hi Libby, I...uh did see that comet, amongst other things", Molly said as looked into her backpack, watching Rapture sit peacefully," Really, like what?", Libby said before being interrupted by their teacher, "Alright class, settle down as we have a new student who transferred here today", their teacher said as a girl with a black dress walked in, her appearance catching the attention of everyone in the class, " Please introduce yourself, the teacher said, the girl stepped forward," Gladly, my name is Agatha, Agatha Turncoat, it a pleasure to meet you all", she said before bowing to the class, everyone was taken back by this including Molly as she saw the girl lifted her face and smile and while she couldn't tell due to the girls bangs covering her eyes, she felt her eyes looking directly at her, leaving an impression that would last for the rest of the day if not longer.
