Hyperspace (Jedi Shuttle)
"WHAT IN THE GALAXY JUST HAPPENED. WHO ATTACKED US!?" Erix yelled at the top of his lungs.
"Dude I'm right next to you!' Cameron said with his hands on his ears.
"Sorry."
Juno and Ryak walked back into looking both relived and tired.
"Master what happened! Who attacked us!"
"What's going on!"
"Who was that!?"
Juno raised her hands in the air to try to calm everyone down. "Alright everyone, calm down!" she said. It seemed to work because everyone who was yelling, stopped.
"Alright now that were not yelling anymore, one question at a time okay?" Juno said.
"Master Xelari, who attacked us?" Dylan worriedly questioned.
Juno shook her head. "I don't know who attacked us, Dylan. I never got to see who our attackers were, not even a glimpse," she sighed. This whole situation was becoming too much of a headache. First, Dylan receives a vision through the Force, and now being attacked out of nowhere. She must contact and inform the council and Master Harand immediately.
Natalya remembered a moment from a few hours ago when she, Dylan, and Ahsoka sensed some type of danger. That must have been what the danger was! She looked towards both Dylan and Ahsoka. "Dylan, Ahsoka, remember earlier when we were walking to the temple and we sensed something, something dangerous?" She reminded them.
Both Dylan's and Ahsoka's eyes widened. That's what they sensed; somehow they sensed the people who attacked them hours before it happened!
"Sensed what?" Ryak said, both curious and suspicious.
"Earlier, while we were walking to the temple, Ahsoka, Natalya, and I sensed something dangerous. I think we sensed the people who attacked us," Dylan explained.
Erix, Amber, Cameron, and Ryak stared at the trio in surprise. Juno narrowed her eyes at the trio and crossed her arms. "When were you going to tell me?" Juno said sternly.
Ahsoka looked down at the ground, nervous. "We were going to tell you when we got to the temple, we just forgot," she quietly said.
Juno continued to stare down at Dylan, Ahsoka, and Natalya with narrowed eyes. The trio was nervous. Would she be mad at them? Oh, who were they kidding? Of course she was mad!
Juno sternly stared at them for a few more moments. Her gaze softened, and she sighed. "Look, you're not in trouble. Just be mindful of these things in the future. If you ever sense something dangerous, tell a knight or master, okay?" she said.
Dylan, Ahsoka, and Natalya nodded. Juno nodded back satisfied, she turned to her Padawan. "Ryak, I want you to look after the younglings. I have to inform the Jedi Council about what happened." She said.
"Yes Master" Ryak said.
((Sorcerers of Gora Ship))
"My lord, what exactly is this backup plan you have?" The Second in command Aka Captain Krage Zorander asked.
"Do not fret Kragen, you will soon see." Sorcerers of Gora leader Aka Zaine Grimm said.
Krage and Zaine walked through the halls of the ship, heading toward the laboratory that was near the back of the freighter.
Kragen was oblivious to Lord Zaine's backup plan, and he was eager to find out what it was. However, Zaine remained silent about the details of said backup plan. Which annoyed Kragen. Zaine always withheld information about everything despite Kragen being his second-in-command. This got to the point where it almost made Kragen consider sneaking into Lord Zaine's office to find information.
Kragen pushed those thoughts to the back of his mind as they arrived at the laboratory.
The lab was full of tech, weapons and all kinds of different technology. In front of a table tinkering with some kind of old droid was Sorcerers of Gora scientist and tinkerer, Dr. Kilian.
Dr. Kilian was a middle-aged man with green eyes and long gray hair that fell past his shoulders. He wore red and black robes with dark gray armor plating. Half of his face was covered in scars, due to a result of a factory incident in his younger days that left him with severe third-degree burns.
"Dr. Kilian." Zaine said with a booming voice. Kilian turned around and the already creapy smile on his face grew when he spotted Lord Zaine.
Kilian bowed "My Lord Zaine. What can I do for you." He said.
"I need to know if Back up plan SD is ready for use." Zaine questioned.
Kilian stood up and walked over to one of the workbenches. "It is ready, Lord Zaine," he said. He pressed a switch on the table, and a small datapad emerged. "To activate the machine, all you have to do is press this button right here, and it will do all the work for you," he explained, a manic glint in his eyes.
Zaine grabbed the data pad and looked it over, Kragen however was unsure. "Are you sure that this plan of yours will work? Dr Kilian?" Kragen questioned with narrowed eyes.
Kilian's head snapped over to Kragen and slowly pointed at him. "Oh it will Captain Zorander, IT WILL." Kilian said with an mad look in his face.
"Enough, you two," Zaine said, raising his hand to signal them to stop talking. "Dr. Kilian, continue with your work. Kragen, head to the bridge and await my arrival. I need to speak privately with Dr. Kilian."
Kragen appeared annoyed to be excluded from important information. He reluctantly nodded before exiting the lab and heading towards the bridge.
Deep down, a growing sense of anger was building inside him. He should not be left out of the conversations that his leader was having. As second-in-command, he was just as qualified as any high-ranking official.
Kragen stood in the middle of the bridge, waiting for Lord Zaine to arrive. As he pondered about what Zaine was talking to Dr Kilian about, one of the henchmen approached him. "Captain Zorander," Henchman #5 asked, "when is Lord Zaine going to reveal his backup plan?"
Kragen didn't even glance at the henchman. "He will reveal it soon enough. Now, get back to your station," he ordered. The henchman grumbled about wanting Jedi blood before walking away.
In front of the bridge, a technician hired by the Sorcerers of Gora was focused on fixing up a computer console, and as he was about to finish his work, he secretly inserted a small chip into the console without anyone noticing, not even Kragen.
Zaine walked into the bridge with the datapad in his hand and a evil glint in his eyes. "Captain Zorander!" Zaine said.
"Yes my Lord?" Kragen said.
"Plug this datapad into the console over there." Zaine ordered before handing Kragen the datapad.
Kragen nodded and walked over to the console at the front of the bridge. He plugged in the datapad, and the screen turned on, revealing a lot of functions and information about the device.
"Kragen, activate the backup plan's device and inform me if it's successful," Zaine ordered, a sinister glint in his dark eyes. Kragen smirked, nodded, He reached over and pressed the activate button.
Hyperspace (Jedi Shuttle)
Juno stood in front of a hologram of the Jedi Council, delivering her report about the meditation retreat... and being attacked when leaving Tython.
"Master Xelari, successful the meditation trip, was it, hmm?" Master Yoda asked.
"It was Master Yoda. The younglings did what they were told. B-but I have something more important to report," Juno said. How was she going to explain to the council that she, Ryak, and the younglings had been attacked when they left Tython?
"What is it?" Master Windu questioned.
"When we were leaving Tython, we were attacked by someone when leaving the planet's atmosphere." Juno said. This surprised the council, why would someone out right attack a Jedi Shuttle?
"Attacked, by who?" Master Windu questioned.
Juno shook her head. "I didn't catch any sight of them, but my Padawan did. He said it was a large Tribune-class light freighter." she explained.
"This is quite worrying." Master Plo Koon said, cupping his chin in thought. "how are the younglings holding up?" He questioned.
Juno crossed her arms and sighed. "Their alright, spooked by what happen but their ok. Ryak is looking after them right now." She said.
Juno then remembered that Dylan, Ahsoka, and Natalya had sensed danger a few hours earlier. She had a gut feeling that the threat was from the people who had just attacked them.
"There is something else masters, a few hours ago when we were walking to the Jedi Temple, Younglings Dylan Shan, Ahsoka Tano and Natalya Kennet sensed some type of danger, I have a feeling that the danger they sensed were the people that attacked us. They must have been waiting for us." She explained.
The council was surprised. Even at a young age, Dylan Shan, Ahsoka Tano, and Natalya Kennet were already demonstrating their power in the Force. However, that didn't matter at the moment, based on what Master Juno said. It seemed that the mysterious attackers had been waiting for them for a few hours. The question is why?
"Did you see them at all when you arived at Tython Master Juno?" asked Master Windu.
Juno was about to respond, then suddenly the ship started to rock violently. The ship shuddered, sparks flew and the hologram flickered.
"WHAT THE!?" Juno yelled out bewilldered.
"M-Mast-uno-Mast-Juno!" Master Plo yelled, his voice glitching, the holonet call started to slowly lose connection.
"Masters, I don't know what's going on!" Juno yelled, but her yells were fruitless because the holonet call disconnected. Juno panicked and ran out of the communications room and straight into the cockpit.
The ship shot out of hyperspace, but not in front of coruscant, but a random planet.
"R6, what's going on?!" Juno yelled as she swiftly got into the pilot's seat. R6 let out beeps saying that something hacked their way into the shuttles systems and had pulled them out of hyperspace VERY close to the nearest planet, which also knocked out their communications and landing array. Ryak ran into with a panicked look on his face. "Master, what's happing?!" Ryak asked bewildered.
"Something hacked the Shuttle's systems and pulled us out of hyperspace. Most of the shuttle's systems are offline or defective, and most of the ships energy is now depleted because of the hack." Juno exclaimed. She attempted to regain control of the shuttle, but nothing was working. Whatever compromised the shuttle also disabled the controls. The shuttle was being pulled toward the planet by its gravity.
"Is the younglings safe?!" Juno questioned concerned.
"Yes, Master. After the ship started going haywire, I ordered them to get in their seats and buckle their seatbelts before coming here." Ryak said, trying to get the systems back up and running.
The Jedi Shuttle accelerated as it approached the planet. R6 beeped loudly, indicating that their was some malicious code that was installed when, whatever hacked into the systems. "Try and restore the systems before its to late!"
R6 beeped back saying he doesn't know if he can. "Just try!" Juno yelled back.
The ship entered the planet's atmosphere, and as soon as it did, it suddenly jerked upward. It shot through the night sky, descending rapidly.
Suddenly an idea popped into Ryak's mind. "Master! What if we use the axillary power? If we restore some of the energy in the shuttle then R6 can restart the systems!" He suggested, it was a long shot, but they had no choice.
"That could work, try it!" Juno ordered. Ryak nodded and got up from his seat and stumbled his way to the back of the cockpit, he opened up a small panel near the floor and pressed a few buttons on it.
The shuttle let out a small buzzing noise before it stopped. The screens flickered on and the shuttles lights turned on. "Good job! R6 try restarting the systems now!" Juno asked. R6 plugged into the computer terminal and went through the ships database trying to restart the system's.
Juno sensed they were approaching the ground rapidly and became increasingly worried. She took a deep breath, forcing her thoughts to the back of her mind. She would not let the gnawing worry that threatened to overwhelm her take over. She needed to stay focused on the task at hand, which was not dying!
Her thoughts were cut off when R6 beeped loudly, saying that some of the ship's controls and systems were restored, but the guidance system still remained offline.
"Great job R6. I need you to try now to restore the guidance system," Juno ordered. R6 beeped in response, indicating that some of the malicious code still remained within the system. He wasn't sure if he would be able to bring it back online. "Just try R6!" Juno yelled.
"Ryak! I need you to help R6 and also the guidance system." Juno ordered.
Ryal looked worried that he might not be able to succeed, but he tried not to dwell on it. "I'm already on it, Master!" he said nervously. Juno sensed his unease. "Trust in the Force, Padawan. We all depend on it!" Juno replied, focusing on the ever-growing distance to the surface. Ryak nodded and went over to help R6.
The ship shook and rumbled as it soared through the clouds in the night sky, and soon the landscape of the planet came into view. However, the ship was heading straight for a large forest.
Though Juno couldn't see the surface she could sense they were approaching a large forest and a large lake. Alarm filled her mind. "Master! This malicious code is preventing the guidance system from coming online!" Ryak said with a VERY worried look on his face. Juno quickly tried to think of an solution.
Then she finally realized that she could slow the ship down as they neared the ground and land softly. She didn't really need the guidance systems. she didn't understand why she hadn't thought of it earlier, probably because she was feeling overwhelmed.
"Ryak, there's no time to restore the guidance system, I have a plan, I want you and R6 to go to the younglings and buckle in, while I will try and slow down the shuttle before landing." Juno explained.
Although Ryak didn't want to leave his master with a dangerous task, he followed his orders. "Alright, Master, let's go, R6!" Ryak commanded. Both he and R6 left the cockpit and entered the room where the younglings were gathered. Dylan and Ahsoka appeared worried but were doing their best to remain calm. Cameron looked terrified, while Erix and Amber both showed signs of fear. Natalya, like Dylan and Ahsoka, appeared worried but was trying to stay composed.
"Padawan Ryak, what's going on?" Dylan asked concerned.
"Master Juno has a plan. Just stay in your seats and try not to do anything, except focus on staying safe," Ryak explained as he buckled himself into a seat. The younglings nodded in understanding. "R6, magnetize yourself to the floor!" Ryak ordered. R6 beeped in response and adjusted his settings to magnetize himself to the floor.
Back in the cockpit Juno was using the force to sense how close the Shuttle was getting to the surface. The surface grew ever closer.
Closer
CLOSER
CLOSER!
and...
CLOSER!
"NOW!" Juno yelled in her mind. With a swift motion, she quickly pushed a button in front of her. The shuttle came to a smooth but also rough, stop, hovering just above the ground.
"There we go, slow and steady," Juno said to herself as she carefully maneuvered the ship toward the ground, using the Force to sense her surroundings. The long wings on the top and bottom of the shuttle soon rotated to the sides, and the ship landed gently on the ground, blowing away leaves, dirt, and scaring off the wildlife in the area.
The shuttle's engines shut down. Juno let out a deep sigh of relief and leaned back against the pilot's chair. "Thank the force..." Juno muttered, relieved.
After a few moments to relax her mind, Juno rose from her chair and left the cockpit, she walked into the room were Ryak, R6 and the younglings were sitting in.
Ryak noticed his master enter the room. "Master, are you all right? Did the plan work?" he asked, concerned for everyone's safety so that no one would become a pancake on the ceiling.
Juno smiled. "I'm alright, Padawan, thanks," she said. "The plan worked. We're now on the ground and safe," she explained.
"Soooo, what happened then?" Erix asked. Both he and Amber unbuckled their harnesses and stood up from their seats. Dylan and Ahsoka followed suit, though Ahsoka felt a bit dizzy from what just happened and had to hold onto Dylan's shoulder for support. "Are you okay?" Dylan asked with concern. Ahsoka nodded and managed to steadied herself.
"Whoever attacked us back on the planet Tython somehow pulled us out of hyperspace and shut down most of the ship's systems," Juno explained. This whole situation was becoming too much to handle. Although she could manage it, there was only so much a person could take even if their a Jedi.
Natalya and Cameron stood up, Cameron's hands and legs shaking from the recent events. "It doesn't matter who attacked us or who pulled us out of hyperspace. What we need to focus on is getting back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant!" he said, frustration and fear evident in his voice. they had almost died TWICE, he just wanted to return to the Jedi Temple, where he felt safe.
"Patience, young one. We will return to Coruscant, but right now we need to wait a moment to check if anything else is wrong with the ship, try and contact the council and go from there." Juno explains.
Ryak unbuckled himself and stood up. "Already on it master. Come on, R6," he said, walking off to the cockpit. R6 beeped and unmagnetized from the floor, he soon was following after Ryak.
10 minutes later
After making sure the younglings were alright, Juno walked into the communications room and went over to the Holotable in the middle of the room. She pressed a few buttons to try and contact the council, but strangely the call was not going through?
"What the?" Juno muttered, she tried again, but got the same results back. This is very strange, are the communications down?
Juno pushed a button on the side of the Holotable to check the communication's system. It popped up, and to her suspicions. Communication's is down, something is preventing the shuttle from making any calls.
Juno frowned at this revelation. How would she make any contact with the Jedi Council, or even anyone else for that matter? Suddenly she had the idea to use her comlink, she could try contacting Master Tiiona. She took out her comlink and pressed the call button.
And just like a minute ago, the call didn't go through. This made Juno think for a moment. "Could something be blocking our transmissions?" Juno thought.
Juno walked out of the communications room and headed to the cockpit. She found Ryak looking at a datapad while R6 was plugged into the computers. Ryak noticed his master enter the room. "Master, did you have any luck contacting the council?" He asked, he could see the concern on her face, which made him feel worried as well.
Juno shook her head. "No, I couldn't get into contact with the council, nor Master Tiiona. Something is blocking our ability to call anyone." She explained. This made Ryak think for a moment, then it clicked. "Master, could it be the same malicious code that infected the shuttle. It did bring down most of the systems in the shuttle. We could assume it also brought down the communications as well." Ryak questioned.
Juno nodded her head, she did see the logic in it. "You maybe right my padawan, but what's strange about it is that it also infected my comlink as well." She revealed.
Ryak's eyes widened slightly, so Master Juno's comlink wasn't working either. Whatever malicious code or virus had been put into the shuttle must be very powerful to even affect a comlink that wasn't connected to the ship.
Ryak was about to respond when R6's beeping cut him off. He looked towards the droid "What is it R6?" He questioned.
R6 beeped saying that something was wrong with the hyperdrive. Both Juno and Ryak looked at each other with surprise in their eyes. "The Hyperdrive? What's wrong with it." Ryak said, "Like we need anything else to go wrong." He thought.
The droid beeped back saying that the malicious code, or virus caused the hyperdrive to overheat when pulling out of hyperspace. Due to it overheating, it caused the hyperdrive to crack open.
"Cracked open!?" Ryak said with wide eyes.
R6 emitted a beep, confirming that this was indeed the case.
Juno narrowed her eyes, this situation has become much more dire then it already was, communications are down, the hyperdrive cracked open and the virus was still within the shuttles systems.
Ryak began to panic. "What are we going to do? We can't call anyone, we can't jump to hyperspace, and we can't even fly safely because the guidance system is still down!" he exclaimed, speaking rapidly.
"Calm yourself Dylan, its going to be ok, if we are going to get back to coruscant, we must have patience." Juno instructed.
Ryak took a small but deep breath. This calmed his mind made feel more relaxed. "Sorry I panicked master." He apologized.
Juno placed her hand on his shoulder. "It's quite alright, stress in these types of situations is always common, even for well-trained Jedi. However, we must not let it cloud our minds. We need to push forward if we are to get back to Coruscant," she said softly.
Ryak looked at his master and nodded determinedly. "Alright master." He said confidently.
Juno looked out of the cockpits window and to the large mountains in the distance. She sensed something out there, she focus on that presence, she sensed a big group of life form's out there, she suddenly got an idea.
"Ryak, gather up the younglings and meet me in front of the shuttle outside, I have a plan." Juno ordered.
3 minutes later
Juno stood in front of the shuttle, gazing at the mountains in the distance. A gentle breeze passed by her as small leaves floated down from the trees.
"Master" A voice said behind her.
Master Juno looked behind her and saw Ryak, R6 and the younglings walk over to her. "Good your here."
"What is the plan Master Juno? Padawan Ryak mentioned you had one?" Ahsoka asked.
"I do, alright listen up! The ship is in need of repairs if we are to get back Coruscant. Who ever attacked us back at Tython managed to install a virus that shut down most of the ships system's." Juno explained.
Dylan, Ahsoka and Natalya looked down feeling guilty for what happened. They sensed the danger that was possibly who ever attacked them, if they told Master Juno or Padawan Ryak, this could have been avoided.
"I sensed a large group of people over there," Juno said, pointing north. "Hopefully, it's a town where we can find the necessary supplies to repair the ship." She explained. She prayed to the force it was a town. If it wasn't, it will be a lot harder to get off this planet.
"So what do we do?" Natalya questioned.
"Ryak, I want you, Dylan, Ahsoka and Cameron to go out there to try and locate a nearby town. While me, R6, Natalya, Erix and Amber will stay here and try to repair the ship. Understand." Juno instructed.
Ryak nodded. "Yes Master." He said.
Juno took something out of her belt and handed it to Ryak. It was a Comlink. "I know communications and the comlink's are down, but just in case they get fixed, keep it on you," Juno said.
Ryak nodded. Ryak looked over to Dylan, Ahsoka and Cameron. "Alright guys, lets get going" Ryak ordered.
Dylan, Ahsoka and Cameron nodded Ryak walked off with Dylan, Ahsoka and Cameron followed him.
Juno watched them walk off into the distance, she turned around and looked at the others. "Alright lets get to work ." She said.
10 minutes later
Ryak, Dylan, Ahsoka, and Cameron walked through the forest. Dylan noticed the sun setting in the distance, they needed to move quickly. Check if there were any villages in the area. If they found one, they would grab supplies to help repair the shuttle and then head back to the ship.
Ryak looked over at Cameron, sensing something off about him. "You alright Cameron? I sense something is troubling you." Ryak questioned. Cameron looked over at Ryak with conflict on his face, and his mind. "I-I'm alright Padawan Ryak. Lets just focus on finding a village." Cameron said trying to deflect concern.
Dylan and Ahsoka looked at Cameron, worried for their friend. "Come on Cameron, I know you to well to know when something is off." Dylan said.
For a moment, there was silence except for the insects on the ground and the leaves in the trees blowing in the air.
Cameron sighed. "What if we don't get back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant? What if we don't...You know? Make it." He questioned worried.
Dylan and Ahsoka looked at each other with concern, Cameron usually dismisses concern most of the time, but this was different.
Ryak looked at Cameron with sympathy. He's just a kid, of course, he's going to be worried. Nearly dying twice could be very traumatic for someone his age. Ryak reassured him, "It's okay to be worried, Cameron. I know our situation seems very concerning, but we will make it back to Coruscant. I'm sure the Jedi Council is looking for us as well. Just trust in the Force and believe in yourself."
For a moment, Cameron said nothing. Then he looked at Ryak with a new sense of confidence on his face and in his mind. "You're right, Padawan Ryak. We will make it. Thanks, guys," Cameron said.
(Jedi Shuttle)
Juno was siting in the cockpit working on the shuttles systems. R6 was in the cockpit as well, he was plugged into a computer terminal.
R6 was going through some of the data of the ship and scanning the virus that was still in some parts of the shuttle. He was instructed by Juno to find any way to uninstall the virus.
R6 did a manual scan of the virus that was within the communications system. As he was scanning, he noticed something, a small file within the virus. The file was labeled as Anti Virus.
Juno heard R6 beep at her and turned around. "You found something?" She questioned. She walked over to the astromech. R6 beeped at her saying He found a hidden file within the virus labeled. Anti Virus.
Juno looked surprised, but also cautious. "An Anti Virus?" Juno asked. This was strange, why would there be an anti virus program within a virus program? It didn't make sense.
The astromech droid beeped cautiously, asking if it should open the file.
Juno paused to contemplate the situation. It clearly seemed fake, possibly a trap meant to install another virus. However, in the back of her mind, she felt a force urging her to trust the file.
Although she was hesitant, she chose to place her trust in the force.
She looked down at R6. "Open it." She asked. R6 beeped with compliance and opened up the Anti Virus file.
R6 beeped again saying that the Anti Virus program was there, but there was also a video file that was called Watch me. Juno raised an eyebrow. Why would there be a video file within a anti virus program anyway? "Play it R6" She ordered. R6 complied, he opened up the video video and projected the video in front of Jedi Master Juno.
The video showed a cloaked figure. Though she could not see the face due to the hood, she can tell that this cloaked man was wearing some type of armor, and she could barley see two strange looking blasters on the man's belt.
"Jedi, if you are watching this, then you survived the attack. I'm sure you are wondering who attacked you back at Tython. The attacker was a group called the Sorcerers of Gora," the Cloaked Man said.
Juno's eyes widened at the revelation. The Sorcerers of Gora were a notorious cult known for inflicting harm on countless innocent lives over the years. They had even killed some Jedi in the past, but Juno had thought they were defeated. It was said that a Republic attack team, supported by two Jedi, had hunted down and defeated the cult a few years ago. Clearly, that was not the case, they had survived.
"But that doesn't matter right now, I'm sure your aware about the virus that has infected your ship. I've secretly implanted a Anti-Virus program within the virus's itself. The Sorcerers of Gora are not aware of this. This program can kill the virus within a day or two." the Cloaked Man said.
Although this man seemed to be telling the truth, Juno remained cautious about it. This could be a trap after all.
"If your wondering who I am, I cant say much other then I'm a spy who is planning on taking down the Sorcerers of Gora from the inside of their own cult. I wish you Jedi the best of luck with getting back home, and may the force be with you." The cloaked man said, the video ended.
Juno sat in her seat, taking a moment to process all the new information. The Sorcerers of Gora had returned, and the man who was helping them had a plan to destroy the Sorcerers from within their cult. He also gave hope in them by offering a way to fix their ship so they could return to Coruscant.
She again felt the force urge her to trust in the file that contained the Anti-Virus. Although Juno remained cautious, she decided to take the risk.
"Launch the program R6." Juno ordered. R6 beeped back and rolled over and plugged himself into the shuttles computer.
After a minute of waiting she finally got an answer. R6 beeped saying that the Anti-Virus has started deleting the virus. "That's great!" Juno said with a grin. Hope started to fill her mind. "How long will it take to finish?" She questioned.
R6 indicated that it will take nearly 40 hours to delete this extremely dangerous and destructive virus. Juno sighed, though it would take almost two days to remove the virus from the ship. At least it's working and the virus is being erased from the shuttle.
10 minutes later. (Forest)
Ryak, Dylan, Ahsoka, and Cameron walked through the forest, aware that time was running out as the sun sank lower in the sky. As they continued their journey, they began to sense the large group of people they were tracking, they could sense they were approaching closer and closer to it.
They climbed a steep hill, and once they reached the top, they looked down to see a sight that filled them with relief.
A large, vibrant city sprawled across the landscape. Most buildings were small, featuring quaint architecture and muted colors, while taller buildings stood at the back of the town. The entire city was surrounded with walls. Near the front of it was a large laser gate.
"Oh thank the force! A city." Ahsoka said in relief.
"Now we can see if they have supplies to repair the ship!" Dylan said.
"There's no time to lose, lets go." Ryak said.
They quickly ran down toward the large city. They soon appeared in front of the gates, Dylan noticed two guards stationed on either side of each door.
"Halt!" Guard#2 yelled, the two guards approached them wielding two metal spears. "What's your purpose here?!" Guard#1 questioned.
Ryak held his hands up in the air. "I am Jedi Padawan Ryak Vererone. These are younglings: Dylan Shan, Ahsoka Tano, and Cameron Moneaux," Ryak introduced himself to the guards.
The two guards looked at each other in surprise. "Jedi? Why are you here?" Guard#2 questioned.
"We are stranded on this planet," Ryak explained. "Our ship is damaged and needs repairs. We are hoping to find a place to gather the supplies necessary to fix it." The two guards exchanged glances and muttered something under their breath before turning their attention back to the group of Jedi.
"Wait here," Guard #1 ordered. Both guards walked over to the laser gate. The lasers disappeared, and both guards went through it. The lasers reappeared before them.
"What are they doing?" Cameron questioned.
"I don't know, maybe talking to their boss?" Dylan said.
"Lets just hope they make it quick and let us in the city." Ahsoka muttered.
Ryak glanced back at the group. "Let's just hold tight for now. It's not like we have much of a choice, anyway." he said.
About two minutes passed before the lasers disappeared and the guards returned. "You're all clear to enter the city. But our boss wants you to not use your lightsabers. Or else there will be consequences," Guard #1 ordered.
"Yes sir." Ryak said.
The Guards went back to their place and allowed them to pass. Ryak, Dylan, Ahsoka and Cameron passed through the laser gate and entered the city, the lasers appeared again behind them.
They walked down the streets, passing by speeders and walking past civilians. As the Jedi group walked, people around them noticed Ryak's lightsabers, their robes and whispered to one another.
"Jedi?"
"What are Jedi doing here?"
"I want the Jedi to leave, wherever the Jedi are, there will be trouble."
Hearing people around them talk about them made Ahsoka uncomfortable. Dylan noticed this. "Are you okay, Ahsoka?" Dylan asked, concerned. "Yeah, I'm just a little uncomfortable with people around us talking about us," Ahsoka replied.
Dylan placed his hand on her shoulder. "Just block them out, who cares what they think?" he said. Ahsoka smiled at Dylan, feeling grateful for his support.
They continued walking through the city, looking around at each shop they passed to see if it was a hardware store or a mechanics shop. Unfortunately they haven't seen any yet.
After a little bit more walking they sat down on a bench. "So were do we exactly find a mechanics shop or hardware story in this place, cuz we haven't found any!" Cameron questioned.
Ahsoka shrugged "Perhaps they don't have any in this city?" She said.
Ryak shook his head. "I honestly doubt it, there are spreaders in this city. Why wouldn't there be any mechanic shops?" he said.
"Your looking for a mechanic shop Jedi?" A voice said from the side.
Ryak looked to his right and saw a human female with blonde hair and green eyes. "Yes, ma'am, me and my group are," he said respectfully.
The human female walked up to them. "Well your going to have to go to Maxir's mechanic shop." She replied.
Dylan walked up to the human female."Maxir's mechanic shop ma'am?" Dylan questioned.
The Human Female chuckled. "Name's Zalee young one, and yes Maxir's mechanic shop, its the 3rd largest building in the city." She said pointing at the building in the distance. "He started it 5 years ago." Zalee explained.
Ryak got up and walked over to Zalee. "Thank you for helping us Zalee, we appreciate it." Ryak said.
Zalee smiled. "No problem, it was nice meeting you Jedi." She said. She walked away from the group towards a transport station.
Ryak turned to the others. "Alright guys, now that we know where to go, let's get moving. We don't have much time left," he said as he turned around and walked towards the mechanic shop with the others.
(Maxir's mechanic shop)
Ryak, Dylan, Ahsoka and Cameron arrived at the mechanic shop and were bewildered by the size of the building. Usually mechanic shops were small, but this one was HUGE.
They walked into the shop, where many people were working on speeders, small ships, and other similar items. Shelves full of parts, tools, and miscellaneous supplies were also available for purchase.
"Were do we start?" Cameron questioned.
Ryak was unsure to be honest. He was about to say something before a protocol droid walked over to them.
"Welcome to Maxir's mechanic shop, I'm ZD-1O how may I be in your service Master Jedi?" ZD-1O questioned.
"How did you know were Jedi?" Cameron questioned.
"Were wearing robes Cameron, and Ryak has his lightsaber on his belt." Ahsoka said.
"Oh."
"How may I be in your service Master Jedi?" ZD-1O repeated.
Cameron leaned over to the others. "What do we say?" He questioned in a low tone.
"I don't know," Dylan replied. Ahsoka just shrugged. Ryak shook his head at them and spoke up. "We are looking for tools to repair a ship." Ryak explained the best he could.
"Follow me then." ZD-10 said before walking off. Ryak followed after him with his others following him.
They walked over to a man working on a old type of droid. The man had light brown hair, Blue eyes, a thin beard and had a small scar on his chin.
"Master Maxir, You have Jedi customers requesting some tools to repair a ship!" ZD said.
The man who owned the mechanic shop Maxir looked up from his work and saw the four Jedi standing next to his protocol droid. His eyes widened as he noticed their robes and Ryak's lightsaber on his belt.
"Jedi." Maxir breathed in surprise. He turned to his Protocol droid. "That will be all ZD." He said.
ZD bowed his head and walked off. Maxir turned his attention to the 4 Jedi standing their in front of him.
"It is an honor to meat you Master Jedi." Maxir grinned. He walked over to the quartet. "Truly it is." He said shaking Ryak's hand.
"Thank you. You don't need to call me 'master' I'm just a Padawan right now." Ryak explained, shaking Maxir's hand. After releasing his grip, he gestured toward the three younglings. "These are younglings Dylan Shan, Ahsoka Tano, and Cameron Moneaux." he said.
Maxir was surprised that Jedi younglings were here as well. "Younglings? Well this is a surprise, but its nice to meet you anyways young ones." He said with a smile.
"Thanks Mr Maxir." Dylan said politely.
Maxir chuckled and shook his head. "Just Maxir, Mr. makes me sound old." He joked. He took a moment before he coughed and clapped his hands together. "Alright then, what can I get you?" He said.
"Our ship was damaged while returning to Coruscant. The hyperdrive is cracked, and several other parts need repair." Ryak explained.
This made Maxir pause for a moment before speaking again. "I know exactly what you need," Maxir said.
"That's great!" Ahsoka exclaimed, a wide grin spreading across her face, Dylan and Cameron feeling the same way.
"Follow me." Maxir said before walking away, leading the others to follow him.
As they walked, Maxir couldn't help but let his curiosity get to him. "So what exactly were you doing outside of Coruscant. You don't have to tell of course but I'm quite curious what mission involves younglings?" He questioned.
Ryak sighed. "It wasn't a mission, we were leaving a planet called Tython, which has a deep history connected to the Jedi Order. We had been doing some meditation in an ancient Jedi Temple. As we were departing, we were attacked. Although we managed to escape, our assailants somehow pulled us out of hyperspace and damaged our ship. As a result, we were forced to land on this planet."
They reached a shelve that had lots of tools and parts. Maxir reached up and grabbed a Weld Tool. "I'm sorry to hear that. At least your still alive, that's a good thing." He said optimistic.
Ryak let out a chuckle "Indeed." he said.
10 minutes later
After collecting all the tools, materials and other stuff to repair the Jedi shuttle, the group got ready to leave.
"I'm appreciate you helping us out Maxir, we owe you one." Ryak said.
"We?" Cameron muttered. Ahsoka nudged him in the ribs and Cameron grunted. Ahsoka shook her head.
Maxir shook his head while raising his hand. "Its alright my friends, You don't owe me anything. I am just helping you."
"How much do I have to pay?" Ryak questioned while digging for some credits in his wallet.
"Nah my friends, Its on the house." Maxir said. This surprised Ryak as he already had the credits in his hand. "Really?" Ryak said surprised.
Cameron crossed his arms and squinted his eyes "What's the catch?" He questioned.
"No catch. I'm just repaying you all. After all, your Jedi Order is the reason my life is better than it was." Maxir said. He placed the box onto a speeder he was letting them keep as well.
"What do you mean?" Dylan asked curious.
Maxir sighed and looked down for a moment. "A few years ago, I lived on a different planet. The village I was born and raised on was in disarray and falling apart. The senator of that planet was very corrupt and greedy. In their desperation, the townspeople ended up kidnapping his son, who didn't know of the town's conditions. However, one day, two Jedi came to the village to resolve the situation. They took down the corrupt senator and freed his son. A few months later, the town began to improve thanks to the senators son, and I was able to leave the planet. I traveled here and started a new life. Because of Jedi like you I was able to move on and start new." Maxir concluded.
Ryak, Dylan, Ahsoka, and even Cameron were impressed with the story. That's why Maxir admires the Jedi so much and why he's making their purchases free.
"Who were the two Jedi Maxir?" Dylan asked curious. He always loved history.
Maxir thought for a moment, trying to remember. "I believe the Jedi's names were Dooku and Qui-Gon Jinn." he replied.
The names Dooku and Qui-Gon Jinn felt strangely familiar to Dylan. He thinks he read them in a book somewhere.
"Anyway's we must get going back to the ship. Again thank you very much Maxir for helping us." Ryak said. He walked up to Maxir and shook his hand.
"It was no problem Master Jedi" Maxir replied. Ryak and Maxir finished shaking hands, Maxir walked away as Ryak turned to the others. "Lets get back to the ship." He said.
Ryak, Dylan, Ahsoka, and Cameron climbed into the speeder and zoomed out of Maxir's mechanic shop, heading back to the ship.
(Jedi Shuttle)
The sun had almost completely disappeared, and darkness enveloped the landscape. Insects chirped in the grass while leaves fluttered from the trees. Inside the shuttle, Juno was preparing rations for dinner. They would be forced to stay the night and possibly into the next day as well. The virus was still inside the shuttle but was slowly being eliminated, the antivirus was only 6% complete.
"So, we're forced to stay the night here on this planet?" Erix questioned. This had not been the day Erix was expecting. Juno sighed and crossed her arms. "Unfortunately we have to, and possibly tomorrow." She said apologetically.
"Are we really going to have to stay here until the so-called Anti-Virus finishes erasing a virus that was implanted within the ship? What if it was a trap by the so called 'Sorcerers of Gora' to weaken us further." Natalya questioned with a raised eyebrow.
"The messenger that gives us this Anti-Virus seemed genuine. I also felt the force itself tell me to trust him." Juno explained.
Erix and Amber looked at each other with small grins on their faces. "The force really did that!" Amber said excited.
Juno smiled a little. "The force can influence your decisions young one. I'm sure that was in your test that Master Tiiona gave you?" She asked.
Erix groaned as he turned away "Please, don't bring up that dreadful test again," he muttered. "My brain is still recovering from the pain of it."
Natalya rolled her eyes. "It wasn't that bad" She muttered.
Juno took out some leftover food from their meditation trip and placed it on a table. As she did this, her thoughts turned to her Padawan and the rest of the younglings. She was starting to worry about them. While setting up the sleeping bags, she sensed some life forms approaching the shuttle. Narrowing her eyes, she grabbed her lightsaber from her belt and walked toward the exit. "Younglings, stay with the ship," she ordered. Erix, Amber, and Natalya exchanged glances, shrugged, and then continued with their duties.
Juno lowered the ramp and exited the ship, gripping her lightsaber tightly in her left hand as she stood her ground. In the distance, she noticed the speeder aproaching slowly with the lights blaring in front of it. She reached out with her senses to determine if there was any danger. Instead of feeling a threat, she sensed the presence of Ryak, Dylan, Ahsoka, and Cameron.
Juno felt relief as she released her tight grip on the saber. The speeder arrived at the shuttle, slowing down before coming to a stop. Exiting the vehicle, Ryak approached his master with a smile. "Master!" Ryak called out joyfully.
Juno sighed in relief and approached her apprentice. "Ryak, glad to see your alright." She said relieved, placing a hand on his shoulder.
"Hey, what are we, cannon fodder?" Cameron said sarcastically as he, Ahsoka, and Dylan, who was holding the box of parts and tools, approached them.
Juno chuckled at the response. "Cameron, Ahsoka, Dylan. Good to see your alright." She said.
"Thanks master" Ahsoka replied grinning.
"Yea thanks." Dylan grunted out.
Juno looked at Dylan with a raised eye brow and concern. "Whats in that box your holding Dylan." She asked curious. She walked over and grabbed the box from him.
Dylan took a deep breath and exclaimed, "We found tools and parts to repair the ship! A few miles away, we came across a city with a mechanic shop that gave us the tools, parts, and even a speeder for free because we're Jedi!" He said it all in one breath.
Juno's face lit up in surprise. She looked down at the box. "Really? Well that's good. You guys did good." Juno said.
"Thanks master." Ryak said.
Juno smiled and nodded. "I also have good news. Come on, let's get into the ship and warm up," she said. She walked up the ramp, followed by the others.
Erix, Amber and Natalya looked up from their work and was happy to see their friends return. "Guys, Your back!" Amber said. They walked up to their friends. "How was your little trip?" Erix questioned.
"It was long and tiring, but we managed to get all the supplies needed to repair the ship," Cameron said.
Juno walked over to the table and placed the box full of parts on it. "Well we have some good news ourselves." She revealed. Dylan's eyebrow rose. "What is the good news?" he said quite eager.
15 minutes later
"Does this not feel like a trap to anyone? An antivirus program was on the ship alongside a virus program that, by the way, was implanted there by the same people who attacked us!" Cameron said.
Currently everyone was eating food at the table and relaxing. "The Force did tell Master Juno to trust the spy who secretly added the antivirus to the virus." Ahsoka said.
"But still, I don't trust this guy." Cameron muttered. He bite into his sandwich. Dylan remained silent on the subject as he starred at his food.
Ahsoka took a sip of water before noticing that her best friend was silent. "What's your opinion on this, Dylan?" she asked, curious. Dylan looked at her for a moment before glancing back down at his food. "Honestly, I'm with Master Juno on this one. If the Force is telling us to trust this spy, then we should. However, in my opinion, we still need to stay alert. Anything can happen," he said before taking a bite of his sandwich.
Juno smiled at Dylan. "Wisely put Dylan." She complemented.
"Sooooooo, onto other things, we are unfortunately going to have to stay the night here and possibly tomorrow. At least until the ship is both repaired and virus free." Amber said.
"Not too bad, much prefer being back at the temple though." Erix muttered.
Juno sighed. "Its going to have to do for now young one. Tomorrow we will start repairs on the ship while R6 keeps track on the Antivirus progress." she said before sipping on some tea.
"Yes master." Erix replied.
Juno noticed most of the younglings were looking tired and had bags under their eyes. "Alright young ones, why don't you guys get cleaned up and get some sleep. We have a long day ahead of us tomorrow." She said softly.
Dylan yawned and stretched his arms. "Yes master." He said.
(Sorcerers of Gora Ship) A few hours Later.
The first light of dawn broke gently over the horizon, casting a warm glow across the landscape. Suddenly, a deep, echoing rumble reverberated through the air, the Sorcerers of Gora's ship descended from the dark clouds.
"My Lord, were to do we land?" Henchman#3 questioned.
Zaine walked over to the large window outlooking the planet and looked around. "Land near the large cliffs, there's a small patch of land we can land on." He ordered.
"Yes my Lord." Henchman#3 replied.
The large Tribune-class light freighter zoomed towards the cliffs. It steadily maneuvered alongside them before descending to a small area of land beside the cliffs. The ship approached the ground slowly before landed gently on the ground.
"We have arrived." Zaine said with a dark smirk. He looked towards his second in command. "KRAGEN!" He yelled.
Kragen moved over to him. "Yes my Lord?"
"I want you to lead a search party for the Jedi. We know they landed on this exact planet, so they could be anywhere, once you find their location contact me. I will arrive to your location soon after that." ordered Zaine.
Kragen bowed his head. "Yes, my Lord," he replied. He turned around and walked out of the bridge. Zaine continued to look out of the bridge's window, lost in his thoughts.
Zaine narrowed his eyes and gripped his fist tightly. "Were are you Jedi?" He thought.
(Jedi Shuttle) 20 minutes later.
"Alright everyone, Now that it is a new day, we must take this as a opportunity." Juno said to everyone. Standing in the lounge area. Juno and Ryak stood in front of the younglings, with R6 alongside them. "We have a ship to repair, systems to fix and a Virus to erase." Juno said.
"Does anyone here have a expert or at least a understanding of mechanics?" Juno questioned. "You know I am master" Ryak said with a grin. Juno nodded and looked towards the younglings. Suddenly, both Erix and Amber walked up. "We do master." Erix and Amber said in unison. This surprised Dylan, Ahsoka, Cameron and Natalya.
"Really?! You know how to do mechanic work?" Natalya said surprised.
Both Erix and Amber grinned and nodded. "How did you.. When did you learn that!?" Cameron questioned bewildered.
"Amber and I are pretty sure that our parents, whom we used to live with, were mechanics. We have faint memories of seeing our dad working on a speeder or something like that." Erix explained. "We also have started tinkering with mechanics as a whole a few months ago. Lets just say were starting to get good at it." Amber finished.
"Well that's good that your learning mechanics young ones. That will help us out alot." Juno said. "Ok, I want Ryak, Erix, Amber and I to work on repairing the shuttle." She order.
"Yes master." Ryak, Erix and Amber said in unison.
"R6, I want you to keep an eye on the anti-virus and the shuttles systems. Inform me immediately if anything happens." Juno ordered. R6 beeped saying Yes Ma'am.
"What about us master?" Cameron questioned, gesturing to him, Dylan, Ahsoka and Natalya.
"I want you to closely guard the ship. If you spot any person, ship or speeder approaching the shuttle. Tell me immediately." Juno ordered.
"We will master." Dylan said.
"Wait wait wait. Why are we guarding the shuttle master? Did we not just escape the Sorcerers of Gora just yesterday?" Cameron questioned.
"It's best to be cautious, just in case they track us down to this planet, we cant take any risks." Juno explained.
Cameron looked down. "Yea that's a good point." He muttered.
"One more thing" Juno said. She walked over and entered into another room in the ship. Dylan and Ahsoka glanced at each other in confusion. "What do you think she's doing." Ahsoka asked. Dylan shrugged. "I have 0 clue." he said.
Juno walked out of the room holding a box and placed it on the table. "For your protection just in case something happens, I want you to have these." She said. She opened the box and revealed multiple lightsabers.
"We get to have our own lightsabers master!" Cameron asked excited.
Juno raised her hand. "This is just for this one time, I dont want you playing with it except using it to protect yourself. Once were back on Coruscant your going to have to give them back." She explained. Cameron pouted at this, Natalya saw this and rolled her eyes.
Juno gave lightsabers to Dylan, Ahsoka, Cameron, Natalya, Erix, and Amber. After that, she took the box containing the unused lightsabers and placed it back in the other room before returning to the lounge area.
"Alright, time to get to work. Stay safe everyone." Juno said
The younglings nodded and R6 beeped saying I Will Ma'am. Ryak nodded as well and crossed his arms. "Alright, Ryak, Erix and Amber. Follow me." Juno ordered.
Juno, Ryak, Erix and Amber walked off to were the hyperdrive was located. R6 went to the cockpit. Dylan, Ahsoka, Natalya and Cameron walked out of the shuttle.
Ryak opened the large box of tools and supplies. He handed a piece of metal to his master, who pressed it against a medium-sized crack on the hyperdrive. Ryak then reached into the box, grabbed a welding tool, and put on a protective mask. After securing the mask on his face, he connected the welding tool and began to weld the metal piece to the hyperdrive.
Erix carefully removed the damaged wires from the hyperdrive. Amber handed him some new replacement wires and placed the damaged wires into a spare box. Erix connected the new wires to the hyperdrive and hooked them up to the other wires.
R6 connected to the shuttle's computer terminal and monitored the progress of the anti-virus program, which was 41% complete. He checked the ship's engine systems to make sure they were all right. So far everything was going alright.
Natalya moved behind the shuttle and observe her surroundings. Suddenly, she heard a twig snap. She turned around quickly and grabbed her lightsaber from her belt. Activating it, a blue blade sprang up from the hilt. As she stood her ground, she saw an animal emerging from the bushes. Realizing it was just an animal, she relaxed and deactivated her lightsaber. The animal, startled by the lightsaber, quickly darted away. Just then, Cameron ran over and stood beside her.
"What's going on?" Cameron asked concerning.
"I heard a twig snap. I thought it was someone, but it was just an animal," Natalya explained.
"Huh, well how bout that." Cameron commented.
(2 hours later.)
Dylan walked into a small clearing next to a lake. He looked around his surrounding to see if anything or anyone was in the area.
Nothing.
Ahsoka noticed her best friend in a small clearing away from the shuttle and walked up to here. "Everything alright over here?" Ahsoka questioned.
Dylan looked at her with a small smile. "Yep! Everything is good. No Sorcerers or anyone in sight." He said.
"That's good." Ahsoka said. She looked around the area. "Wonder what's going to happen after all of this. I mean, what are we going to do after we get back to Coruscant." She wondered.
Dylan paused to think for a moment. "I mean, we will have to give these lightsabers back," he said as he picked up the saber from his belt. "We'll return to our normal lives after this whole ordeal and continuing training. For, well you know. Training to become future Jedi Knights and all," he added.
Ahsoka nudged him with a small grin. "Indeed." She said.
They chuckled for a moment before silence took over enjoying each other's company. They just stood there looking around. Everything seemed fine.
Dylan and Ahsoka started walking away from the clearing. They walked over to the shuttle to were Cameron and Natalya stood. "Anything to report guys." Dylan questioned.
Both Cameron and Natalya shook their heads. "Nothing." They both said in unison.
Dylan was about to speak when he sensed something unusual. A look of confusion crossed his face as he turned and gazed into the forest. "What is it?" Cameron asked, noticing Dylan's sudden change in demeanor. Dylan turned to see Ahsoka, Natalya, and Cameron all watching him confused. "I sensed something," he replied, he pointed towards the woods. "Out there, in the forest," he explained.
Cameron raised an eyebrow "You did? What exactly did you sense?" He questioned.
Dylan used his senses to try and find what ever he sensed... But he couldn't.
"I-I cant sense it anymore." Dylan said. He turned around and looked at his longtime friends. "Can you sense anything?" He asked.
Ahsoka tried to sense what ever her best friend was sensing, alongside Natalya and Cameron. But she couldn't sense anything. "I cant sense anything Dylan." Ahsoka said concerned.
"Me neither." Natalya said.
"Me to." Cameron said.
Dylan frowned. Why did he sense something but couldn't sense it again? This puzzled him greatly. After some contemplation, he made a decision. "We must inform Master Juno. If it was something dangerous, it's important to let her know," he explained.
Ahsoka, Natalya, and Cameron nodded before all of them walked up the ramp and entered the ship.
They walked into the room were Master Juno and Padawan Ryak were. They were finishing up working on the Hyperdrive. "I need you to move this tube over there." Juno said pointing to another part of Hyperdrive. "Got it." Ryak said.
"Master Juno." Dylan said.
Juno turned around and saw Dylan. "Yes young Dylan?" She said.
Dylan's face turned confused. "Um, when me, Ahsoka, Natalya and Cameron were outside in front of the ship. I sensed something out in the forest." He explained.
Juno turned concerned. "Do you know what it was?" She questioned. Dylan shook his head no in response. "No master, I tried sensing what it was. But it was gone, I even asked Ahsoka, Natalya and Cameron to try and use sense it. But they couldn't either." Dylan explained.
Juno's face turned concerned. "Well I thank you for bringing this to me. Just in case it is something dangerous, I want you 4 to stay in the shuttle while we continue repairs." She ordered.
Dylan, Ahsoka, Natalya and Cameron nodded. "Yes Master." They said in unison.
Unknown to all of them, there was something dangerous out in the woods.
A Sorcerers of Gora scout team was hiding behind some tree's while spying on the Jedi Shuttle. Kragen, looked very pleased with himself. "They thought they could hide from us, but they were wrong." He said with a sick smile.
Kragen looked over at his scout team. "Keep your scopes on the Jedi. I need to contact Lord Zaine." He ordered.
"Yes sir." Henchman#12 said while holding a rifle.
Kragen walked towards a boulder and hid behind it. He took out his holoprojector and placed it on the ground.
Kragen pressed a button on the projector and waited for a moment. The holoprojector displayed an image of Lord Zaine in front of him. "Ah, Kragen. What do you have to report?" Zaine asked.
Kragen smirked and crossed his arms. "Well, my lord, we have located the missing Jedi. They are hiding in the forest, a few miles from our ship." He explained.
Zaine had an evil smile on his face. "Good work Kragen, send me your location and wait for me." Zaine ordered.
"Yes my lord." Kragen said. The call disconnected and Zaine's hologram disappeared. Kragen sent out his location to Zaine, he put his holoprojector back on his belt. Kragen stood there in his thoughts, he felt like Lord Zaine didn't trust him to start the attack. Maybe he should do it immediately and kill those Jedi for Lord Zaine! Then Lord Zaine would trust him even more!
Kragen walked back over to the scout team. He observed them, he for sure had enough men to start the attack on the Jedi.
"Alright listeen up!" Kragen ordered. Every soldier looked over at Kragen and listened. "We are going to start our attack on the Jedi early. Be accurate in your shots. kill. On. Sight." Kragen said darkly.
"YES SIR!" Every soldier said.
"Alright then lets start our attack." Kragen said with a sadistic look on his face.
Meanwhile on the ship, Juno and Ryak finished repairs on the hyperdrive and some other stuff that needed repairs.
R6 rolled out of the cockpit and into the lounge area. The younglings were sitting at the table, taking a moment to rest. Erix and Amber were covered in dirt from working on repairs alongside Master Juno and Padawan Ryak.
"The ship is finished being repaired. Once the Anti-Virus is finished. We will be able to leave to Coruscant." Juno explained. She took a sip of water and sat down.
R6 rolled over to Juno and beeped at her saying the Anti-Virus is at 50% completion. "Good job R6." Juno said smiling down at him.
Cameron layed back in the couch and relaxed. "Man it will be nice to head back to the Jedi Temple, after all this adventure, I think I'm worn out." He said.
"Your worn out?! Me and Amber worked while you just stood outside looking at the forest." Erix said rolling his eyes.
Cameron just waved his hand at him. "Yea Yea." He said.
Dylan chuckled.
.
.
.
Dylan sensed it again. His face froze. He's confused, why is he sensing it again. But he could sense it much more clearly.
"Set up the Ion gun!" Kragen ordered as he stood outside of the Jedi's ship.
Dylan closed his eyes trying to concentrate this feeling.
Two men approached with the Ion gun. They set up the stand and placed it on top.
Dylan's face scrunched up, he sensed multiple people outside the ship. Ahsoka started to sense it as well, her face turned into worry.
The Ion gun activated and began to rev up. Kragen stepped back with a mad glint in his eyes.
Dylan's eyes snapped open his eyes filled with worry. Ahsoka's as well.
"Maste-"
The Ion gun fired a blue electric beam at the Jedi shuttle, causing it to rock slightly. Sparks flew from its panel's. Blue energy waves flew from the shuttle as it shook.
Inside the shuttle, sparks erupted from the malfunctioning control panels, The ship trembled as it experienced malfunctioned, causing metal panels to dislodge and crash to the floor. As the panels clattered down, they revealed a chaotic jumble of wires and circuits behind the walls, exposing the intricate and machinery.
"WHATS GOING ON!?" Natalya questioned bewildered.
"I DONT KNOW!" Cameron responded scared.
Juno looked frantic and worried. She uses her senses, she senses multiple life form's outside the ship.
"The Sorcerers of Gora found us!" Juno said.
"HOW?!" Amber yelled.
"I don't know. Maybe they put a tracker on the ship back on Tython, but that doesn't matter now. We need to fight back," Juno said with a serious look on her face. She turned and looked at her padawan who looked equally worried.
"Padawan, you and me will go outside and fight back againts the Sorcerers of Gora." Juno said.
"Are you sure master?" Ryak questioned.
"It's our only hope of surviving Padawan. Get your lightsaber ready." Juno said. She stood up and walked over to the shuttle door.
Ryak followed after her. Juno, before exiting the shuttle turned to the younglings. "I want all of you to get into the cockpit and stay there. R6 you will join them." Juno ordred.
The younglings nodded and went to the cockpit. R6 following them. They entered the cockpit and closed the door behind them.
Juno and Ryak stood in front of the exit door. "You ready my Padawan." She questioned.
"Ready as I'll ever be Master." Ryak said. Juno smirked and nodded.
They grabbed their lightsabers off their belts and held them tightly. Juno reached over to the control panel and pressed a button, which opened the door and lowered a ramp.
Both of them ran down and saw straight away people with blasters. They activated their Lightsabers. Juno's lightsaber was blue and Ryak's was green.
Two henchmen raised their blasters and opened fire. Juno and Ryak lifted their lightsabers and blocked the shots, continuously defending against the onslaught. Juno managed to deflect one bolt back at a henchmen, the other henchmen who was momentarily distracted by his death. Taking advantage of the distraction, Ryak used the Force to push the soldier into a tree, knocking him out.
Juno ran to towards a group of henchmen and force leaped into the air. Bewildered by her leaping into the air made them distracted which Ryak used to his advantaged again. He used the force to force their blaster's out of their hand's.
Juno landed on the ground, which sent a force shockwave that propelled her the henchmen backwards, rendering them unconscious. Ryak managed to catch up to Juno and observed saw group of henchman approaching them. They halted and began firing at them. Juno effectively blocked all incoming shots, Ryak then used the force to lift all of them up in the air and slam them back on the ground.
Juno sensed someone was attempting to sneak up to her from behind. In response, she swiftly turned around, seized the collar of the assailant, and delivered a hard punch to his face, rendering him unconscious. She pushed him to the ground. Ryak was surprised.
"Impressive Master." Ryak said.
"Thanks." Juno said.
A grenade was thrown at them, it rolled on the ground and stopped. Juno saw it and her eyes widened. "Get down!" Juno said. She tried to push herself and Ryak to the ground.
But it was too late.
The grenade detonated with a roar, sending Juno and Ryak tumbling backwards and crashing to the ground. The force of the explosion, caused the ground to shake violently beneath them. In its wake, a cloud of dust and debris was propelled into the air, scattering dirt and rocks in various directions.
Ryak groaned and tried to sit up. He managed to sit up and looked around, smoke was in the air and made it hard to see, he managed to get back on his feet and stumbled forward. "MASTER?! MASTER!" Ryak yelled.
He heard a groaning sound to his left and quickly ran toward it, discovering Juno lying on the ground. "Master!" Ryak exclaimed as he rushed over to help her up. "Are you alright?" he asked, his voice filled with concern. Juno coughed as she struggled to her feet, though she was limping. "I'm alright, Ryak. I just got the wind knocked out of me," she explained.
Ryak noticed she was burned on her leg slightly. "Master your leg, your hurt." He said concerned. Juno weakly smiled at him. "I can handle it." She said. She was about to speak but then.
BANG
BANG
BANG
Juno gasped and her eyes widened. She felt 3 burst's of pain in her back. She was shot.
Ryak went wide in in shock. "MASTER!" He yelled horrified.
Juno collapsed onto the ground, her body hitting the ground with a thud. Ryak hurriedly crouched beside her, his heart racing with worry and horror as he tried to help her.
"NO NO!" Ryak yelled, his hand's trembled as he tried to check her wounds. Juno groaned weakly as she looked up at her apprentice. "R-Ry-Rya." She tried to say but couldn't.
"No- No, S-Save you strength, I'll try and get some help. I can take you that city a few miles out." Ryak rambled.
Ryak was about to continue speaking before hearing crazy laughter. He looked behind him and saw a large man approach him with a blaster pointed at him. "HAHAHA, Your crying over your Jedi teacher's coming death is so FUNNY!" Kragen laughed.
Ryak looked at him with anger starting to seep onto his face. His breathing started to become slow and deep. Kragen noticed this and gave a deep but crazy laugh. "Oh your getting angry now!? Angry that your teacher is going to die! Well, you should be happy. Jedi are worthless womp rat's who deserve nothing but death as it come's to them." Kragen rambled with a mad look on his face.
Ryak snapped. His eyes turned Dark Yellow.
Ryak roared and raced over, grabbed his arm and held him in place as he punched him straight in the face a few times. Teeth fell out of his face and blood shot out of his nose. Ryak through Kragen to the ground, he ran over to him and punched him. Over and over again.
A few minute's passed, Kragen had several missing teeth, one black eye and, a broken nose and several bruises on his face. Ryak stopped after a while. His hands were bloody, he was breathing heavily. His anger faded away as he realized what he did. The dark yellow eyes turning back into his original brown eyes. His attention went back to his hurt master. He raced over to her. He kneeled down to her. "Master can you hear me." Ryak asked.
Nothing. Her body layed still.
Ryak's eyes went wide with worry. "No no no no no no no!" He thought in horror. He felt for a pulse. Nothing. Tears started to fall from his eyes.
"Master come on, please don't be dead, COME ON DAMIT!" Ryak screamed.
Still Nothing. Juno's body layed there on the ground, lifeless, devoid of any life what's so ever.
Ryak couldn't help but start crying heavily. He placed his head on her chest sobbing.
After a fruitless few minutes of crying over his master's death. Ryak got back up on his feet. Starring down at his dead master. He walked back over to the shuttle, he walked up the ramp and entered the ship.
The door to the cockpit opened and the younglings came out of the room followed by R6 looking worried and concerned. "Padawan Ryak, are you okay?" Dylan asked worried. Ryak stayed silent as he starred at the floor, his face covered in dirt, blood and tears. His eyes then looked up at the younglings.
Cameron noticed Master Juno was not with him. "Where's Master Juno?" He asked worried.
Ryak's eyes closed with tears leaking from them. He slowly shook his head. The younglings got this devastating message. Dylan and Ahsoka looked horrified. Natalya looked shocked. Erix and Amber looked Horrified as well and Cameron with sadness.
"She's... She's dead?" Natalya questioned quietly.
Ryak slowly nodded with his tears falling to the floor.
The younglings began to cry. Dylan held Ahsoka as she wept into his shoulder, tears streaming down his own face. Natalya let out some sobs of her own. Erix and Amber embraced each other, trying to provide comfort to one another. Cameron quietly walked over and sat down on the couch, tears in his eyes. R6 emitted some soft beeps in response. Ryak looked at them with sadness in his eyes.
Jedi Master Juno Xelari has died...
Author's note: Hello readers! Man what a ending to a chapter! I'm so sorry that Its been a while since my last chapter. Writers block is a piece of shit, also couldn't write for a while. I have ADHD so I can barley write a few words without doing something else almost immediately.
Anyway I hope you have a fantastic Day or Night. Adios!
