Episode 1: Mega Mission
Dream
A war raged on... monsters and Rangers fighting with everything they had to control the planet. The newest team of Rangers was on the scene, but their leader, the Red Ranger, was struggling against the monstrous foe before him.
"Red!" screamed Blue.
Red tried to stand, but the leader of the monsters kicked him down and raised his sword. Red knew it was over; his life would end here. At least, his friends would have a chance to save the planet with the other Rangers by their side.
"This planet will be mine!" the monster leader bellowed.
"Let my friend go!" another voice shouted.
Red, stunned, saw the shadow of another Ranger appear and push the monster away. He heard the sounds of fighting, but it took him a moment to focus and see who was fighting whom. They were near the cliff...
"No!"
Red moved just in time to see Yellow scream and fall to her knees. Another Ranger and the monster tumbled over the cliff's edge. Red ran, his heart pounding, desperate to find his friend. But there was nothing. No monster, no Ranger. They had won the battle, but...
Was it truly a victory?
End Dream
"Hey, newbie! Wake up!"
Troy Burrows opened his eyes, feeling a profound emptiness. The dreams felt so real, as if he had lost something important in that fight too, but he couldn't place what it was—at least, not yet.
"You'll be late if you don't get out now!" the bus driver called. "Come on!"
Troy focused, grabbed his bag, and stepped off the bus. The feeling of loss weighed heavily on him, but he pushed through. He was new here, without friends, and didn't have time to dwell on this sadness. He needed to focus on his new life and the challenges ahead.
Troy sighed, putting on his best smile as he walked into his new high school. He checked his schedule to find his class and realized it had already started. Knocking on the door, he hoped he wasn't too late.
"Oh, come in," the teacher said.
"Sorry, I'm new. Troy Burrows," he introduced himself.
"Mr. Burrows, I'm Professor Park," the teacher replied. "Please, sit beside the guy with the soccer ball. We were just about to start."
Troy nodded and quickly took his seat beside a boy who seemed to be sizing him up.
"I'm Jake Holling. Welcome," the boy said with a smile.
"Troy," he responded, unsure of what else to say.
Jake nodded, seeming to understand how Troy felt, and turned his attention back to the class. Troy felt a strange sense of calm from Jake's few words and smile. Maybe, just maybe, this time he could have a normal life.

In Space
Andros was performing his routine check-up on the spaceship, enjoying some alone time away from his team. Though he loved his team and his wife, he had always been a solitary person. Sometimes, he needed a few hours to himself to appreciate how lucky he was.
This mission was simple, just a few routine checks. Ashley worried every time he went on these missions, but Andros couldn't blame her. Both he and Tommy Oliver had a knack for attracting trouble. However, this mission was straightforward—not like the time they almost lost their Pink Ranger and ended up losing the Lost Galaxy Pink Ranger.
Andros closed his eyes, pushing those thoughts away. Kendrix was fine now, caring for her and Leo's five-year-old daughter in a free universe.
Suddenly, a beep pulled Andros from his thoughts. He turned to see DECA locating an alien ship, ten times larger than DECA itself. Acting quickly, Andros activated shadow mode, thanks to Wes Collins's technology, and approached the ship undetected to intercept their communications.
Communication
"Creepox, how is Earth?" a voice asked.
"Humans are not a problem, Admiral Malkor. We'll have them begging for mercy in no time, and then... we will invade the planet," Creepox replied.
End Communication
Andros kept his composure and set DECA's course back to Earth. He needed to inform his team about this new threat and notify Tommy Oliver and Jason Scott. He had a feeling he knew who would be taking on this invasion.
"DECA, set course for Earth," Andros commanded.
"Course set. We will arrive in 3.6 hours," DECA responded.
"Not fast enough," Andros muttered. "Call Tommy Oliver and tell him I think the time has come."
"Calling," DECA confirmed.
Andros ran a hand through his hair and sighed. This wasn't good, but they had to remain strong. The Rangers who would face this new threat wouldn't be alone. They had a direct descendant among them—who better than Jacob to guide them through this new challenge?

It wasn't unusual for Jake to leave class before it ended, but he knew something was wrong when both his dad and godfather came to pick him up. Professor Adam Park's serious demeanor only confirmed that this was Ranger-related.
As Jake walked out, Emma Goodall glanced at her best friend, Gia Moran, who rolled her eyes. Since starting high school, Emma had noticed Jake's constant attempts to impress Gia, something Emma found endearing, though Gia seemed disinterested.
"He's gone again," Emma remarked. "Do you think he got in trouble?"
"I don't know why. He's the only nice guy on the soccer team," Gia replied, opening her book.
"Oh, so you think he's nice?" Emma teased.
"Don't start, Emma."
Emma smiled, sensing that Gia wasn't entirely ignoring Jake's advances. Maybe Jake did have a chance after all.
For her part, Gia focused on her book, trying not to dwell on Emma's words. Jake was nice—of course, he was. He was the only guy who didn't pressure her or treat her like an object. But she wasn't ready for a relationship, especially not with the star of the soccer team. She wanted to be known for her grades, not as someone's girlfriend.
She sighed; maybe someday she'd give him a chance, just not today.
-Megaforce-
When Jake arrived at the beach with his dad and uncle, he knew this was a Ranger situation. His dad was tense, and his godfather, despite his experience, looked worried. The real shock came when he saw his godmother waiting for him.
"Aunt Kim?"
"Jake!? You've grown so much!" Kim said, running to him.
Jake hugged his aunt and godmother with enthusiasm. It had been a long time since they'd seen each other, and even though they stayed in touch, it was always good to see her in person.
As they broke the hug, Jake noticed his dad and uncle Tommy approaching. Kimberly let go of Jake and took Tommy's hand. Jake noticed, of course, but said nothing, making a mental note to ask about it later.
"Why are we here?" Jake asked his dad.
"It's time, son," Jason replied.
Jake didn't need more explanation. It was his turn to become a Ranger. He needed to stay calm, even though inside he was jumping with excitement. He'd been trained for this. While he knew he wouldn't be the Red Ranger—he wasn't a leader—he wondered which color he would get. He hoped for a color like his uncle's: Green, White, or Black.
Tommy pointed towards the entrance of a cave near the beach, and Jake nodded, taking this new challenge carefully. He walked into the cave with his father, uncle, and aunt close behind. Inside, he saw a small robot and looked over his shoulder.
"Must be like our Alpha," Jason said. "You should touch him, Jake."
Jake nodded and gently placed his hand on the robot's head, bringing it to life. The robot looked up and moved its head towards Jake.
"Ahhh! Gosei! Humans!"
Jake jumped back, falling to the ground as the small robot ran around, activating panels and hitting everything in its path. Jake looked confused while Tommy struggled to contain his laughter.
"You think this is funny?" Kimberly asked.
"Well, I never saw you the first time you saw Alpha and Zordon. Maybe it's because I've seen too many newbies, but yes, it's funny."
Kimberly rolled her eyes but smiled as Jason helped Jake up. They watched as the green eyes of the wall art in the cave began to glow.
"Calm down, Tenshou. They are allies," the wall art said.
"But Gosei, the boy woke me up," Tenshou whispered.
"Yes, and they can hear you loud and clear now," Gosei replied. "Jacob Thomas Scott Kwan, I am Gosei."
"Hi," Jake said, confused.
His years of studying Ranger history hadn't prepared him for this. He looked at his father, who nodded, taking a step back and placing a hand on his son's shoulder.
"Gosei, can you explain what's happening?" Jason asked. "Andros, the Red Space Ranger, intercepted a communication about an impending invasion."
"New enemies are coming, Red Ranger," Gosei said. "Admiral Malkor and his commanders, Vrak and Creepox, have decimated many systems before, and now they are here to do the same."
"So, it's Jake's time to become a Ranger?" Kimberly asked.
"He is, but there is something he must do first," Gosei said. "Jake, step forward, please."
Jake did as he was told, feeling nervous. He was close to becoming what he always dreamed of—a Power Ranger, continuing his family's legacy. But he wasn't sure if he was ready or good enough.
"I know your past and legacy, Jacob. I was Zordon's student," Gosei said, surprising everyone. "That's why I chose you first; I see the potential in you, just as Zordon did in your parents, uncles, and aunts."
"You see potential?" Jake asked.
"Yes, and because of that, I want you to help me decide who is worthy of being a Ranger in this time of need," Gosei said.
Jake felt the surprise in his family behind him. As far as he remembered, no mentor had ever recruited new Rangers with the help of a young Ranger before. Nervously, Jake gulped as Tenshou activated something on the panels, revealing five devices with Gosei's face and five stacks of cards.
"These are the Megaforce morphers, each with cards that will give you everything you need to defeat this new threat. But first, Jake, let me show you why I wanted you to be part of this team, as a son and family member of many Rangers before you," Gosei said.
"Come here, Jake," Tenshou said, pointing to the panel.
Jake walked towards the panel, picking up his device and cards, and then looked at Gosei, smiling as he felt the power running through his fingers. He didn't need to see a color—he could feel it, and it made him smile.
"Jake, your abilities in close combat and your strength make you the rightful Megaforce Black," Gosei said. "The Black Ranger represents strength and optimism, a determined heart with physical resilience for long and exhausting battles."
Behind him, Jason breathed a sigh of relief—at least Jake wasn't the Red Ranger. Jake looked at his morpher and then back at Gosei, nodding.
"Thank you, Gosei. I will do my best to keep Earth safe, as my family did before me," Jake promised.
"I know you will, Jake," Gosei said. "Now that you know what I need in a Ranger, look deep within yourself, consider the people you know now and those who were Rangers before, and find a team capable of ensuring victory. Earth depends on it."
"Yes, Gosei," Jake replied.
Jake closed his eyes, recalling his family's history and everything they had endured. His mind conjured up a list of names, spirits he recognized as strong and full of energy, capable of keeping Earth safe.
Once he finished, he opened his eyes and looked at Gosei.
"I know who has the qualities to save this planet," Jake said.
"Very well," Gosei replied. "We will bring them here, but while we wait, let me teach you how to morph."
"That… would be awesome," Jake said.
Jake looked at his family as they approached him, listening to Gosei's explanations. Tenshou worked on the panels to bring the new Rangers to the cave, ready to form the new team before the aliens attacked Earth.

School
Noah was worried as he walked into Ernie's Brainfreeze, searching for his best friend. Jake wasn't answering his phone, and Noah had a feeling that whatever was happening was important.
Noah's bond with Jake wasn't logical, but it had been strong since they became friends. He was curious to know why Jake had left in the middle of class again. As he looked around, he spotted Gia Moran studying by herself. He wanted to ask if she had seen Jake, but Gia was intimidating, and Noah felt he might pass out if she looked at him.
But this was Jake, and Noah would do anything for his friend.
Jake had been smitten with Gia since the day they met, and even though Noah was sure Gia didn't feel the same, she at least tried to avoid breaking Jake's heart. Noah was thankful for that.
Matters of the heart—who needed them?
Noah took a deep breath and walked towards Gia. Suddenly, he felt dizzy and looked down at his hands, only to see them disappearing. Noah looked up, scared, and saw that Gia was going through the same thing; the only difference was the color of the particles enveloping them.
Gia's particles were yellow. Noah's were blue.
What the hell?
Noah vanished, the last thing he saw being blue particles dancing around him.

Troy was in the middle of his training routine before heading home. It helped clear his mind and keep the persistent dreams at bay. But today, the dreams were unusually persistent.
Troy growled and stopped his training. It wasn't helping, and he was tired. He walked to the door, grabbed his bottle of water, and wondered why today felt different. Suddenly, an image of a Red Ranger appeared in front of him, nodding. Troy raised his hand, wanting to stop him and ask why he was there, but the image vanished. Then, Troy found himself surrounded by red particles that whisked him away, leaving the bottle of water behind.

Park
Emma was riding her BMX through the forest, admiring nature and taking pictures when she heard a noise nearby. She stopped her bike and walked toward the sound, thinking someone might need help.
That's when she saw the most terrifying and ugly creature she had ever seen.
Emma didn't know what to do but knew she had to inform someone. She decided she would go to the police and then make sure she and Gia stayed home until the creature was gone.
As Emma nodded to herself and moved, something cracked under her feet, drawing the monster's attention in her direction.
"Who's there?" the monster growled.
Emma, hiding behind some bushes, gripped her bike for support. She felt something at her fingertips and looked down, seeing herself and her bike dissolve into pink particles.
By the time the monster reached her spot, Emma was gone.

Command Center
Jake heard noises coming from the main room of the Command Center and glanced at Tenshou. The small robot let out a laugh, and beside him, Kimberly and Tommy exchanged a look while Jason placed a hand on his son's shoulder.
"Time to shine, Black Ranger," Jason said.
Jake, already transformed into his Megaforce Black suit, saw his dad, aunt, and uncle retreat into the shadows. The new recruits needed a few minutes to adapt once Jake revealed their new powers.
Taking a deep breath, Jake watched as two boys and a girl walked deeper into the Command Center, stopping when they noticed him and Tenshou.
"Who are you?" Troy asked, stepping forward.
Jake smiled under his helmet, knowing he had made the right choice with them. Troy's instinctive leadership confirmed it. Gosei's eyes glowed in approval before he spoke, surprising the three newcomers.
"Troy, Noah, Gia, and Emma, welcome to the Command Center," Gosei said. "I am Gosei, and I brought you here with the help of the Black Ranger to entrust you with an important mission."
"Wait... Rangers, as in... Power Rangers?" Emma asked. "I remember a team like that in Mariner Bay, but... you..."
"I don't get it. You decided we were good enough to be Rangers?" Noah questioned.
"Yes, Noah. The Black Ranger saw qualities in all of you that mirror past Rangers and could be vital for this challenge," Gosei explained. "Mutants want to invade Earth, and you are our only hope to stop them."
The group exchanged confused looks. For the first time, Jake felt bad for them. If he wasn't who he was, he too would be confused. He nodded to himself, deciding to explain, and looked at Gosei for approval.
"Maybe I should explain this to them," Jake suggested.
"Of course, Black Ranger. Go ahead," Gosei replied.
Jake nodded and slowly removed his helmet, revealing his face. The looks of surprise on everyone except Troy made him nervous, but he pushed back the fear. They didn't have time for confusion now.
"Jake!?" Noah exclaimed. "You're a Power Ranger!?"
"Is this a joke?" Gia asked, annoyed.
"It's not. I promise," Jake said, walking towards them. "I've been a Power Ranger for a few minutes, waiting for you to come here. I know a lot of stories... I know all about the previous Rangers."
Jake looked down, feeling nervous when he felt his dad's hand on his back. His uncle and aunt stood by his side. When Jake looked up, he saw Noah's head was about to explode trying to make sense of everything.
"Mr. Holling!?" Noah asked, bewildered.
"Hi, Noah," Jason said, smiling at the boy. "It's Scott, by the way. Sorry I couldn't tell you before. I'm Jason Lee Scott, the original Red Ranger."
Tenshou activated the panels, showing images of Jason transforming into the Red Ranger and the day he became a Power Ranger. Not far away, Jake's aunt smiled as she walked towards the Pink panel.
"I'm Kimberly Ann Hart, the original Pink Ranger," Kimberly said.
Like Jason, the teenagers saw images of Kimberly morphing, fighting, and becoming a Ranger. Finally, Tommy stepped forward, standing beside Jake.
"And you are…?" Emma asked.
"Rainbow Ranger," Jason joked. "Sometimes we call him Tommy, too."
Seeing the kids' confusion, Tommy playfully punched his friend's shoulder and walked towards Jake's panel, where they saw Tommy receiving the powers of the Green, White, Red, and Black Ranger.
The teenagers, impressed, looked at the man in front of them and then at Jake.
"They're your family?" Troy asked.
"Part of it. All the Rangers are family. I've known them since I was a baby," Jake explained, looking at Noah. "Sorry I couldn't tell you before; there's this thing about keeping identities secret, especially for active Rangers."
"I understand," Noah said, still impressed.
Jake nodded, relieved, and then saw Gosei come back to life.
"Jake, I think it's time to give your teammates their powers and explain why you thought they possess the qualities needed to defend Earth, like those before them," Gosei said.
"You're right," Jake said, grabbing the morpher by the Pink panel and walking towards Emma. "Emma, you will be the Pink Ranger because you embody kindness, the desire to help others, and the pursuit of peace. You now hold the power of the Phoenix. Help me show these aliens why our world is so beautiful."
Emma smiled and nodded as she received her morpher and cards. She looked up at Jake, seeing nothing but pride in his eyes. Emma blushed as Jake moved to grab another morpher, this time giving it to Noah.
"It's no surprise I chose you as the Blue Ranger," Jake said with a smile. "Blue represents logic and order, the brain of the team, crucial even when everything is falling apart. Noah, you're the person I trust with my life. Like others before you, you need to show you can be more than just your intellect. That's why the power of the Shark is with you, to help you discover a path where your brain and bravery coexist."
Noah nodded, grabbing his morpher and cards. Before Jake could move to the next panel, Noah hugged him tightly, surprising Jake for a moment before he smiled and returned the hug.
"That… that's the Jake I know," Noah said.
Jake nodded and finally moved to the next panel, collecting the morpher and cards. He walked towards Gia, looking at her until he stood in front of her. The tension between them was palpable. Kim and Tommy exchanged a look, while Jason raised an eyebrow, and Emma watched with interest.
"Gia… the power I thought was best for you is also the most important to me," Jake said, his voice tinged with sadness, making the teenagers, especially Gia, wonder what he meant. But Jake quickly smiled, dismissing the pain in his heart. "A Yellow Ranger is a source of strength and understanding. While Blue is the brain and Pink the heart, Yellow is the psychological support, the foundation that holds the team together. Sometimes with facts, sometimes with fun, always there as a reminder to never give up. As for your animal… not everything has to be rational, right?"
Gia chuckled, and even Emma laughed as Jake continued.
"That's why the Tiger is with you. The fury and need to protect those you love will fuel your battles because, like a tiger, you'll always put your people before yourself," Jake said.
He gave Gia one last look before turning to retrieve the last morpher and cards. As he did, Gia's eyes remained fixed on him, wondering why this Jake seemed familiar.
Jake chuckled as he turned towards Troy and gave him the last morpher and cards. By now, it was evident what color was missing, and Troy knew what it was but was confused as to why he was chosen for it when Jake seemed more experienced.
"Why are you giving me Red?" Troy asked.
"Because you're a natural leader, Troy. I saw it the first time you walked into class and even now, when everyone was freaking out, you were there, analyzing the situation, balancing the dangers, and finding at least three ways out," Jake explained.
"You saw that?"
"I was trained to see that, and you did it naturally. You wonder why I gave you Red?" Jake asked. "Red Rangers are known for their leadership on the battlefield. They must keep their heads in the game at all times and sometimes make tough decisions for the greater good."
"I'm not sure..."
"You are, Troy," Jake insisted. "Let me ask you something. If you had to choose between saving me or Earth, what would you do?"
"I would save both, you and Earth," Troy said without hesitation.
Jake smiled, glancing at his father. Jason's approving nod was more than enough, and Tommy smiled with his arm around Kimberly. That trick was something Conner McKnight would do, and Tommy was proud of Jake for using it. Jake looked back at Troy and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"That's the answer, Troy," Jake said. "Power Rangers don't leave friends, and sometimes even foes, behind. We do our best. We win, and sometimes we lose, but we stay together because people like you, the Red Rangers, keep us united. That's why you have the Dragon, to show your passion and carry the fate of Earth on your shoulders."
Troy looked at Jake, seeing nothing but conviction in his eyes, which boosted his confidence. He looked down at his morpher, then at his teammates, feeling the same conviction Jake showed them.
Suddenly, a beep brought them back to reality. Tenshou displayed images on Troy's panel, showing mutants attacking civilians. Jake quickly took his place between Troy and Emma, looking at the images before Tommy stepped forward.
"It's time, Rangers," Tommy said.
Troy nodded. He looked to his left and right, then forward as everyone grabbed their morphers and cards, ready to fight for Earth.
"Go! Go! Megaforce!"
A flash of light engulfed the cave as they transformed and disappeared towards the battlefield, leaving the original Rangers in silence, watching the images. Gosei's eyes came to life again.
"You couldn't stop yourself, could you?" Gosei asked.
"Old habits die hard," Tommy said with a smile.
-Megaforce-
The Megaforce Rangers arrived at the battlefield, seeing Loogies chasing humans. Red glanced at Black, who nodded before running towards them. Red jumped, landing between a group of Loogies and the humans, and kicked one of the Loogies, sending it flying into the group.
"This power is incredible!" Red exclaimed, raising his fists.
"Time to show what we're made of," Yellow said, looking at Black. "Let's give them a taste!"
For a moment, Black stood mesmerized by Yellow until he saw her retrieve her card with her weapon. He followed suit, noticing she was waiting for him. Together, they called for their weapons, the Tiger Claw and the Snake Axe. Black and Yellow exchanged a glance before charging at the Loogies.
Nearby, Pink, Blue, and Red called for their weapons using their cards and quickly defeated the Loogies. Red nodded, turning to the rest of the group.
"Great job, guys," Red said.
"Yeah, you look natural," Black added.
"This power… it feels like it's part of us," Pink said. "Does that make sense?"
"It does because I feel the same," Yellow agreed. "The news always said how easy it looked for the Rangers, but I never really paid attention until now."
"The materials of the suits and weapons are so awesome," Blue said, looking at Black. "I can't believe you grew up with all this."
Black nodded, placing a hand on Blue's shoulder. He found it hard to believe he had a direct connection with this world, but he couldn't be prouder to be part of the spandex family.
And now, it was their turn to uphold the tradition.

In Space
"Who are those humans?" Admiral Malkor asked.
"I don't know, but I'm surprised, Admiral. I thought Creepox said he had everything under control," Vrak said, crossing his arms.
"I know… I'll have to talk to him when he gets back," the Admiral replied. "Scaraba! Get ready! I need you to do something for me!"
"Yes, sir!"
Scaraba was sent to Earth by the Admiral. As the monster's light descended on the planet, the Admiral nodded. It didn't matter who those humans were; Scaraba would deal with them, and then they would be free to conquer the planet.
-Megaforce-
The team reunited after defeating the Loogies, talking amongst themselves when a flash of light surprised them. They saw a monster accompanied by more Loogies. Black, knowing why the monster was there, placed a hand on Red's shoulder to get his attention.
"Whoever wants to invade Earth saw us and sent one of their monsters," Black said. "He's stronger than the Loogies, so be careful. The spandex will protect us from some hits, but if we take too much damage, we will demorph."
"Understood," Red replied. "Ready?"
"Ready!" the Rangers echoed.
"You won't stand a chance! Give up now, and I'll end your lives quickly!" Scaraba threatened.
"We will defend our planet from you and your kind!" Red declared, with his team surrounding him. "We are the Power Rangers, Megaforce!"
"You're going to be Mega dead!" the monster roared. "Loogies, finish them!"
Red was about to charge at the monster, feeling it was his responsibility as the leader, when Gosei's voice spoke in their heads, instructing them to call for their laser guns to win the battle. Red nodded and retrieved his card, followed by the team, and one by one, the lasers appeared, giving them the advantage.
The Rangers used their guns to defeat the Loogies in a matter of minutes, leaving only Scaraba standing.
"How did that happen!?" the monster screamed.
"This is the power of Earth," Red said. "You will never take our planet!"
"Let's finish this!" the Rangers exclaimed.
"Dragon Sword!" Red called.
Following his command, the Rangers called for their weapons. Red glanced at Pink, who understood his plan. She ran to the rooftop of a building, trusting the Phoenix, and jumped, flying with Red while the monster attacked with laser eyes.
The smoke obscured them, but moments later, they reappeared. Pink struck first with her weapon, and Red followed with his sword, making the monster fall to his knees. Their teammates joined them.
"I want to try too!" Yellow shouted.
Yellow ran before Black and Blue could stop her. She used her claws as a shield against the monster's lasers. Black, running behind her, used his ax to disrupt the monster's attack, allowing Yellow to strike with her claws.
Finally, Blue jumped into the fight, firing his laser at the monster and knocking it down.
"Finish it by combining your weapons, Rangers," Gosei instructed.
"Let's do it!" Red said. "Weapons combine!"
The Rangers combined their weapons, using their cards for added strength. Red aimed, with Pink and Blue on either side and Black and Yellow in front. Red felt the power synchronize.
"Weapons combine! Full force!" Red shouted.
A powerful laser hit the monster, destroying it. The Rangers turned, giving their backs to the monster, with Red holding the combined weapon. He realized Black was right—they were stronger together. It was his job to keep them united.
"Let's go back to the Command Center," Black said, snapping Red out of his thoughts. "I'm sure Gosei will want to see us."
The Rangers nodded, returned their weapons to normal, and ran towards the Command Center, knowing that from now on, Earth was their priority, and it was their job to protect it from this new threat.

Command Center
Jake walked into the Command Center and was quickly hugged by his dad. Jason looked proud, which took Jake aback and made him a little embarrassed. Their friends smiled, offering hugs and praise from Tommy and Kim.
"Your job has been amazing, Rangers," Gosei said. "But you still have a choice to make."
The teenagers looked at Gosei, then at Jake. The young Black Ranger stepped forward, looking at his team seriously, hoping for the right outcome.
"You still have to decide if you want this life," Jake said. "For me, there is no choice; this is my legacy, and I've been trained since I was a baby to be a Ranger. You've all shown why Gosei and I wanted you to take on your respective colors, but the ultimate choice is yours. Whatever it is, we will accept it."
"So we can decide to walk away while you fight?" Emma asked.
"This is my world, Emma, but it doesn't have to be yours if you don't want it. No one will think less of you for choosing a normal life," Jake said, giving her a small smile. "But finding someone who can fly with such elegance while holding Troy and her weapon would be impossible."
Emma smiled, looking down. Jake focused on her but noticed Gia walking towards him with her morpher. For a moment, he thought she was giving it back. He couldn't blame her. Life was hard enough without fighting aliens half the time.
But Gia stood in front of him, looking at her morpher and then at him with a smile.
"I think I can live up to the challenge. Besides, I have a feeling you need me around so you don't get your ass kicked, partner," Gia said, smiling.
"I think I'll keep it too," Noah said, looking at the team. "I can help with upgrades, and with Tenshou's help, I can understand more about the technology used in all this equipment."
"You sound like someone I know," Kim said behind the Megaforce Rangers.
"Billy will be so happy about this," Tommy added.
"Man… I feel so old right now," Jason said, looking at his friend. "Don't you feel like that too?"
Tommy and Kim shared a look. Jason felt they shared the sentiment, but at the same time, he was proud of this new generation. They had something like the old spirit when they first reunited with Zordon and Alpha.
"Well, I guess I'll take it too, but you need to do something about the helmet; my hair gets stuck," Emma said, smiling. "I'm in… Earth is too precious to let those aliens take it away from us."
"We won't let you or Gosei down, Jake," Troy promised, smiling at the Black Ranger. "You have a team ready to defend Earth."
Jake nodded and placed his hand in the center. The other Rangers put their hands over his. Jake gestured for his family to join them, forming a seal. A new team was born under Gosei's bright green eyes and Tenshou's happy dance.
"Welcome home, Megaforce Rangers," Tenshou said.
"Defenders of Earth, your journey starts now," Gosei declared.
