A/N: Hello. :) In this episode for this story, as we all know, Rigby tries to get revenge and beat Mordecai so he can be player one. But this time, to keep things interesting, there will be one additional fight prior to the one-sided one at the end. It's been an unbelievably long time since I last wrote a chapter for this story, and since my interest in Regular Show's back at peak level, it's way past time I put it out of retirement. :)
Close Enough: A Regular Show
Death Punchies
It all started when Mordecai turned on the television and Rigby inserted the game cartridge in the console before Mordecai pressed the power button on the console.
"D-d-d-d-daaaaa-Dig Champs!", the game announcer spoke.
"Dude, these are probably the best graphics I've ever seen in my life.", Rigby spoke in slight awe.
"Dude, it looks just like the cover.", Mordecai responded before he and Rigby chuckled at the cover of the game and the game itself, with the cover obviously looking better and different then the actual game.
"Oh, man. Dude, let's play it.", Mordecai spoke.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! You can't play game like this right out of the box. We should stretch it out first. We don't want to pull our 'hammies', know what I'm sayin'? Hey, whatta ya doin'?", Rigby puzzled as Mordecai only started playing.
"Starting. Hurry up, and, pick your character. Hehehe!", Mordecai chuckled before picking the player with the shovel.
"Aw, what? I wanted to be player one!", Rigby complained.
"Dude, I'm player one. You're player two.", Mordecai staged.
"I don't wanna be player two! He just digs with a sucky pickaxe! I want the one with the shovel!", Rigby retorted.
"Dude, they're exactly the same.", Mordecai responded.
"Then why don't you be player two?", Rigby asked.
"Pffft. I'm not using that sucky pickaxe.", Mordecai scoffed, making Rigby gasp.
"See?!", Rigby exclaimed.
"Dude, calm down. Let's play Punchies to see who gets to be player one.", Mordecai suggested.
"Fine.", Rigby responded before trying to punch Mordecai only to fail before he then punched Rigby and won.
"Looks like I'm player one.", Mordecai grinned.
"No! It's not fair! You always get your way! 'Let's play Punchies, let's play Punchies'. I'm sick of it! Of course, I'm not gonna beat you at punchies!", Rigby growled.
"Dude, you don't beat anybody at punchies.", Mordecai responded.
"Yes, I do.", Rigby argued.
"No, you don't.", Mordecai retorted before a series of flashbacks played with Rigby and Muscle Man are playing punchies with the latter winning, Pops punching Rigby to the wall with his eyes closed, and then Mordecai, Pops, Josh, Emily, Alex, Bridgette, and Candice seeing Skips lunch Rigby, who later had to be taken off by a helicopter toward a hospital before fading back to the present with Mordecai imitating the sound of the siren.
"Quick, doctor, both of these butt cheeks are unrecognizable. If we want anyone to be able to recognize this as a butt in the future, then we're gonna have to do a complete butt transplant, stat!", Mordecai spoke.
"STOP TALKING! There was only damage to the one cheek and you know it!", Rigby shouted.
"Hahaha! That's right! We used to call you the One Cheek Wonder! Dude, I'm bringin' it back.", Mordecai grinned.
"You better not!", Rigby only shouted.
"Is that One Cheek wonder? I hope he's not trying to play Punchies with cheeks like that!", Muscleman grinned before he and Mordecai laughed with Rigby covered his butt with his tail by curling it up.
"Shut up! Don't look at them! I'll win at punchies, you'll see!", Rigby shouted before he ran upstairs to his and Mordecai's room, burst in, shut the door with a slam, and repeatedly jumped on Mordecai's bed, messing it up.
"Dumb Mordecai! I hate you!", Rigby shouted.
"You better not be messin' up my side of the room.", Mordecai called from downstairs, making Rigby yell in frustration before picking up a nearby phone book, ready to toss it at the door.
"YOU'RE RUINING MY LIFE!", Rigby shouted before throwing the book at the door only for it to bounce off it and hit him in the squarely in the face, making him screech in pain continually, urging a frustrated Mordecai to put on headphones and play the video game.
Meanwhile, Rigby groaned in pain and then went toward the book.
"Ughh! Stupid bo-ok?", Rigby puzzled as he noticed a page on the book about "Death Kwon Do" and read it.
"Death Kwon Do? 'Learn kicks, chops and punches in moments. Unlock your full potential today'? Yeees...", Rigby smirked.
A moment later, Rigby ran out of the room past Josh and Emily just as they arrived.
"Sorry, guys!", Rigby shouted as he ran off, opened the front door, and closed it.
"Okay. What was that all about?", Emily puzzled before Josh noticed something.
"Emily, I think I might know.", Josh spoke, holding up the book with a page on it that says, "Death Kwon Do".
Later, Rigby was shown to have arrived at the Death Kwon Do dojo.
"It's a touching story. Really, it is. But I don't know if you're ready for Death Kwon Do.", the sensei responded.
"Why not?", Rigby asked.
"Death Kwon Do is all about self-defense. But, from the sound of it, you just want to hit harder.", the sensei responded.
"Uhhhh...no? Can you just teach me something?", Rigby asked.
"Hmm. Determination. I like that. Okay, I'll teach you some beginner defensive moves. All you gotta do is pick from the sacred text of Death Kwon Do.", the sensei responded as he then held up a book titled "Death Kwon Do." Before opening it and showing various moves.
"Let's see, we can start you off with 'Bicep Flex of Death.' Or there's the 'Leg Lifts of Death.' That's a good beginner's move. Or the 'Pelvic Thrust of Death.' That's one of my personal favorites.", the sensei spoke as Rigby searched for moves in the book before finding one that he really wanted.
"That one. That's the one I want. 'The Death Punch.'", Rigby spoke in slight awe.
"That, I'm afraid, is not for beginners.", the sensei refused.
"What, why?", Rigby asked.
"Because you only want to use it to beat up your friends. You're not pure of heart!", the sensei responded.
"What? Don't call me 'not pure of heart'! What about you with your cruddy mullet? You're the one who's not pure of heart!", Rigby retorted.
"That's it! I'm turning my back on you and counting to three, of death. And when I turn back around, you're toast! One of death. Two of death.", the sensei began before he heard a rip and turned around to notice that Rigby has Rigby has ripped out "The Death Punch of Death" page.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO-", the sensei began shouting before his student arrived and gave his report.
"Uhh...Sensei, uhh.., I think somebody just Death Kwon Clogged the toilet.", the student spoke.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!", the sensei shouted in response just as Josh and Emily walked in.
"Uh, is everything okay, sir?", Emily asked.
"No. Everything is not okay. Someone just told me that someone Death Kwon Clogged the toilet! And worse, someone just ripped off the page from the sacred text of 'Death Kwon Do!'", the sensei shouted.
"Really?! Who could do that?!", Josh exclaimed before Emily realized something.
"Wait a minute. It was Rigby, wasn't it?", Emily realized as if it were no surprise.
"Oh, yeah. Now that you mention it, I thought he was in such a rush.", Josh remembered.
"So, you know this perpetrator?", the sensei asked.
"Know him? He works with us.", Josh spoke.
"But why would he…", Emily asked before realizing the reason as she remembered herself and Josh seeing almost all the countless times that Rigby lost at punchies.
"Of course! He wants to beat Mordecai at Punchies with it.", Emily remembered.
"Then, we have to go stop him before he takes it too far.", Josh urged.
"Yeah, but how? If any one of us tries to stop him, he'd probably try to punch us.", Emily asked.
"I think I may have a solution.", the sensei offered.
"You do?", Emily asked.
"You both seem to care about him in spite of his actions. That is a sign of a proper desire for self-defense. So, because of that, I will offer you both the privilege of mastery over Death Kwon Do.", the sensei offered.

"You will?", Emily asked.
"Yes. The way it stands now, only you two have the potential to stop his eventual rampage before it's too late.", the sensei responded.
Then, the montage began as meanwhile, back at the park, after making sure no one followed him and closing the door, Rigby decided to try learning how to perform the "The Death Punch" as he placed the page for it in one of the hamper's drawers. At first, Rigby failed, but then, he quickly learned that in order for the Death Punch to be used, he has to have a mullet. Back at the Death Kwon Do dojo, Josh and Emily stepped forward, wearing mullets and cut-out jean shorts with the latter also wearing a white tank top before it then showed the sensei giving pointers on how to do the Bicep Flex of death before Josh carefully follows through on said pointers as best he could and performed it quite well, making the sensei nod. As for Rigby, he combed his hair into one, but still, he failed. Afterwards, he learned that he also had to wear cut jeans to perform it. At the dojo, it then showed the Leg Lifts of Death before showing the sensei instructing Emily how to do so through example with Emily having some struggle with lifting before eventually lifting them up. Back at the park, Rigby cut the legs off of a pair of jeans and put them on before successfully performing the Death Punch by breaking his and Mordecai's burrow.

"Whoa! Time to take this baby for a test drive.", Rigby smirked before going outside with a bold shout and targeting Muscleman and Hi Five Ghost just before charging in with a yell and punching the two toward a wall.
"Oh no, bro!", Muscleman groaned before Rigby then targeted Pops and punched him to the sun before going after Skips next and punching him past the garage all the way toward a park light, making quite a straight line-shaped divot before turning to see the stunned Candice, Bridgette, Alex, Mona, and Mela.
"Oh, hey, Candice.", Rigby greeted casually before running off toward a nearby snack bar, the park fountain, the carnival tent, and even a rock, all prey to his death punch as they exploded before Rigby roared.
"Aaaahhhh!", Bridgette shouted.
"Aaaahhhh! My rock!", Alex added.
"Do you really own this rock?", Bridgette puzzled.
"Not really but that's a technicality.", Alex retorted.

"YOU'RE NEXT, MORDECAI!", Rigby shouted.
"This has to stop.", Candice, Mona, Mela, Bridgette, and Alex spoke.

Meanwhile, Mordecai came out of the bathroom as the toilet flushed.
"All right, Rigby, cry baby time's over. Come on, let's go get some food. I'm buying.", Mordecai assured before he opened the door to his room, entered, and saw the destruction on their room.
"Aw, what? Rigby! Aughhhhh! He's gonna pay for this.", Mordecai spoke before he then picked up the phone book and saw a certain page that caught his attention.
"Death Kwon Do?", Mordecai puzzled before overhearing Rigby's frenzied shouting.
"Where are you, Mordecai? I wanna play you punchies!", Rigby shouted before Mordecai looked through the shades of the window in time to see not only Rigby going around the park, hunting for him, but also a dark and stormy weather now present.
"Hey, mister, have you seen Mordecai?", Rigby asked.
"Uhhhh.., no. W-who's…", the first man began before Rigby punched the Man away.
"Have you seen 'im?", Rigby asked.
"Seen w-ughhhhh!", the 2nd man began before Rigby punched the second man.
"How 'bout you?", Rigby asked right before punching the 3rd man up on the window.
"Oh, so you think you're gonna beat me at punchies? Well, I've got news for you. I know your little secret.", Mordecai spoke.
Meanwhile, Bridgette, Alex, and Candice looked around hastily to find Josh and Emily.
"You sure they went in there?", Alex asked.
"Yeah. They're definitely here.", Candice responded.
"How can you tell?", Bridgette asked.
"I have my methods.", Candice responded before it then showed a flashback of Alex speaking with Josh and Emily.
"So, you cool with this?", Josh asked.
"Oh, yeah. I mean, what can I say? I think she's starting to grow on me.", Alex responded.
"Yeah. Anyway, we'll be out doing errands for a while, but we'll be back at around high noon!", Emily responded as she and Josh left.
That was when Candice decided to take a peek in Rigby's room and see the Death Kwon Do page in the book.
"Errands, huh?", Candice smirked before it flashed back to the present.
"Why, those dirty so-and-so's. They went here for 'errands'?", Alex spoke.
"I think right now, it's a good thing they kept that part secret because Rigby's totally destroying the park out there!", Bridgette responded.
"How do you figure?", Alex asked before Bridgette pointed behind him and Alex turned to notice that the park is now severely destroyed beyond repair as a tree fell off and destroyed the bridge.
"Oh. Okay. I guess I just needed a visual.", Alex responded.
Meanwhile, inside the dojo, the sensei spoke to Josh and Emily.
"Well, you two, I'm surprised you have learned so much in so little time. Almost 2 hours, in fact.", the sensei spoke.
"I know. That is surprising. Although, I don't know if I'll get used to the mullet and short-cut jeans. Not that I mind it much.", Emily responded.
"Indeed. And regardless of whether or not the Death Punch is able to be bestowed upon you after all this, I believe you are ready. I wish you luck on your journey.", the sensei spoke.
"Thanks, sensei.", Josh responded before he and Emily left.
At that moment, Alex and Bridgette caught up to them with Candice, Mona, and Mela right behind them.
"Aha! There you two are.", Alex spoke.
"It's a good thing we found you both here when we did.", Mona said.
"Things have gone crazier than usual now!", Mela added.
"It's about Rigby! He's…", Candice began.
"We know, sweety. He's probably destroying the whole park by now.", Emily responded.
"Uh, correction: he already did. But he won't stop until he finds Mordecai and punches him!", Bridgette responded before Mordecai spoke up, about to head into the Death Kwon Do Dojo.
"Rigby wants me? Well, he can have me.", Mordecai responded in determination.
Later, it was now dark and stormy as Rigby was being fanned with a feather by Pops while Skips was massaging his feet.
"Now massage this foot!", Rigby ordered.
"But I already did that one.", Skips responded.
"Then rub it again! Unless you want to get punched again! And Pops, what's with the easy-breezy? Speed it up! My chest hairs are roasting down here!", Rigby ordered, making Pops whimper as he fanned faster.
"Muscleman, you see Mordecai yet?", Rigby asked before Muscleman lowered the binoculars, revealing two black eyes.
"Uhhh, I can't see anything.", Muscleman responded.
"HEY! YOU'VE OFFICIALLY GONE TOO FAR THIS TIME!", Josh shouted.
"Gimme those!", Rigby spoke before he took the binoculars and noticed Josh and Emily's with a couple of constants: their hairs are in mullets and they're wearing jean shorts like Rigby.
"Well, you may not be who I'm looking for, but it looks like you two have learned the ways of Death Kwon Do.", Rigby guessed.
"Looks like you've been tipped off, genius.", Emily retorted.
"Whatever! Neither of you can handle The Death Punch! And neither will Mordecai when he gets here and decides to face me.", Rigby discouraged.
"That sounds like a challenge.", Josh responded.
"That's because maybe it IS a challenge!", Rigby retorted.
"Well, if it IS a challenge, then what're you doing up there?", Emily asked.
"Muscleman, Hi Fives, carry me down.", Rigby ordered as he snapped his fingers before the two then carried him down to Josh and Emily, albeit with some difficulty on the way down.
"Don't drop me! Be careful! Whoa, whoa! Leaning, leaning! Here, here! Set me here.", Rigby spoke before Muscleman and Hi Five did so and moved away just as the rain started to fall, turning from a light shower to a semi-torrential downpour.
"Whoo! Make him eat it, fellas!", Alex cheered.
"What moves did you two learn?", Rigby asked.
"Why don't you come over here and find out? I'm sure you will be VERY surprised.", Emily challenged before Rigby cracked his knuckles.
"Hm! Hm! I don't need to charge you to find out.", Rigby smirked.
Then, he stretched out his arm and thrust it out with a yell, sending a powerful shockwave. But thanks to her and Josh's training, they were ready. In fact, Emily was the first to raise her arm slowly, take a deep breath, and then tense her hand and fingers as if packing heat. Then, she let out her own yell and a counterattack with a swipe, sending slash-like shockwaves toward Rigby's own shockwave. The resulting clash of shockwaves caused a gush of wind to blow from all sides, even pushing the rain back up. Making it seem as though the rain stopped before it fell down again. Rigby was quite shocked and in awe at this attack, but mostly in awe.
"Well, well, well. That was pretty nice. I'll give you that much. Tell me, what move was that?", Rigby asked.
"Nothing much. Just a simple move called, 'the Death Claw'.", Emily smirked.
"Death Claw, huh? Well, even if it does sound cool, my fists won't be shredded by your claws so easily.", Rigby smirked.
"Well, one of the many rules of Death Kwon Do, actually: never expect easy.", Emily responded.
"Oh, I guess I should keep my guard up, then.", Rigby said.
"Yeah. Maybe you should.", Emily responded, doing a hand taunt.
Rigby growled in response, priming his fist for retaliation just as Emily primed her hand in anticipation. For a moment, neither one made a move. But after one strike of lightning in the sky, Rigby roared and struck with his Death Punch, which Emily canceled out with her Death Claw, sending yet another burst of wind. Now, this happened 5 times or so before someone noticed the source of the strange updraft of wind. That someone was a cloud-humanoid with white skin and a cloud-like head and "hair" that looks as if it's tied in a ponytail with a big bushy fringe on top, wearing a sort of raincoat on account of the storm. She happened to be a crossing guard at the time as she noticed how worried the kids were getting.
"Easy, kids. Just stay calm and keep moving forward. Dang... that must be one wild updraft. Where is it all coming from?", the cloud girl pondered.
Meanwhile, Rigby was seething with rage in annoyance.
"Gah! This is getting us nowhere!", Rigby groaned.
"Then, how about we try a more direct approach?", Emily smirked before vanishing and seemingly going up.
"Now, that's more like it.", Rigby smirked before doing the same as well.
When they got close enough, Rigby went in for a direct punch while Emily went for a direct slash. When both attacks connected, they were forced back from each other, creating the same burst as the other 5 times before. Nevertheless, they continued to clash, but this time, randomly in the air. They even went across and above the city just as both the cloud girl and the kids noticed the clash up above.
"Whoa...!", the kids said in awe.
"'Whoa' is right. How are they doing that?", the cloud girl puzzled.
It went on for a bit before Emily finally managed to slash across Rigby's cheek, but barely, leaving behind a small cut while the shockwave from the Death Claw finally cut through a big building nearby, two waves hitting a floor and destroying the entire floor of said building in the distance the way one would in a video game.
"Hah! Is that all you got?", Rigby asked before then launching his Death Punch.
Emily was barely able to move out of the way before she fell and was caught in Josh's arms.
"Oh. I guess now's the time to tag out?", Emily asked.
"Yeah. Good call.", Josh responded as he set her down.
"If we make it through this, I wanna get picked up again.", Candice said.
Then, Rigby caught up, descending to ground level.
"You know, Emily, I'm surprised that you lasted this long. After all, nobody else did.", Rigby said.
"Why don't you give me a try?", Josh asked.
"All right, then. What move did you learn?", Rigby asked.
"This. Power Bulk... of... DEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAATH!", Josh roared as he then flexed his arms and looked up to the sky, his eyes turning blank golden as said light burst from his mouth as well before cracks formed near his eyes and mouth, spreading up to the arms.
Before anyone knew it, his body seemingly exploded in a golden light, which then became a barrier of energy, which then exploded and expanded into a massive size, astonishing all nearby. But as this happened, the explosion sent a piece of grass hurtling towards the cloud girl and the children, making them gasp and/or exclaim in panic. She braced herself in front of them. There was a crumbling noise. When she opened her eyes, she was amazed to find Mordecai, now sporting a mullet and short-cut jeans standing on front of her, his left shoulder facing forwards.
"Whoa...", the cloud girl spoke as Mordecai turned to the park entrance.
"Are you all okay?", Mordecai asked.
"Uh..., yeah. We're all okay.", the cloud girl assured as the children behind her nodded.
Mordecai turned to the park entrance as the big golden barrier altered the environment in waves before the barrier shrank and gave off a golden light.
"Time to finish this.", Mordecai said before walking towards the park entrance.
Back in the park, the golden barrier was still present before it dissipated, revealing Josh with big muscles, his shirt torn and flowing upwards, a bigger height, blank golden eyes, flowing hair and mullet, small columns of light around him, and golden lightning sparks.
"Whoa. Now, THAT is a real muscle man, bro.", Muscle Man said in awe.
"Oh, my gosh, he looks incredible as an absolute unit...!", Emily said to herself.
"What?", Candice, Alex, Bridgette, Mona, Mela, Skips, Muscle Man, Hi-Five Ghost, and Pops said.
"Nothing!", Emily squeaked.
Then, Josh pointed his finger at Rigby, as if to challenge him.
"Rigby. I choose you to be first punching bag. Of Death.", Josh challenged in a slightly distorted voice.
Rigby's eyes were widened in shock.
"Uh-oh.", Rigby said.
Josh roared as he then dashed toward Rigby, who was barely able to dodge the charge to his right only for Josh to turn around and flex his arms again.
"BICEP FLEX OF DEEEEAAAAATH!", Josh roared as a golden energy orb glowed in front of his chest before exploding as it was launched toward him.
Seeing the massive blast coming for him, Rigby's eyes widened bigger than a deer caught in the headlights.
"DAAWHAHAAHAHAAAAAHH!", Rigby screamed, using his Death Punch to launch himself up in the air, dodging the blast hurtling towards him in the nick of time.
Then, the blast went up into the sky, zoomed past the clouds, and exploded in space, illuminating the dark clouds, giving them the appearance of fire, astonishing everyone who saw them, especially the cloud girl and the children.
"Cool...", Rigby said in midair as the storm clouds turned back to their usual grey color.
But then, Josh caught up, making Rigby exclaim in surprise for a bit. Josh held his palm out in front of Rigby and just gave a brief yell while thrusting his hand a couple of inches closer and quickly pushing Rigby to the ground. Luckily for him, he was able to stop his descent with his Death Punch right before he could hit the ground, stopping a few inches off the ground for a moment before touching the ground safely.
"Whoa... He hit like a train and he didn't even touch me...", Rigby groaned before Josh landed and stepped forward toward him.
This practically had the raccoon afraid, no, TERRIFIED of this absolute unit.
"Uh..., Josh? Easy now...! Easy...! Time out! I call time out!", Rigby squeaked in worry.
Just then, though Josh suddenly groaned in pain and held his chest.
"AAAAHHHH...! POWER BULK... TOO...PAINFUL...! Must... release...!", Josh groaned, powering down back to normal form.
This had everyone puzzled, if not worried, for a moment, especially Emily and Candice, before Rigby then gave a smirk as he then stepped closer.
"Come on, Josh...!", Emily said in worry.
"You can do it...", Candide added.
"Wow. So, that's the Power Bulk of Death, huh? It sure had me scared. You were totally overpowered, there. It's just too bad you didn't have enough time to finish it. But don't worry. I'll definitely be sure to make good use of that move later once I finish you.", Rigby smirked.
But then, a voice spoke up from behind Rigby.
"Excuse you.", Mordecai spoke.
"Huh? Excuse me?", Rigby puzzled.
"You've been ignoring someone this entire time.", Mordecai replied.
Then, Rigby widened his eyes and then glared with a smirk as he turned to face him.
"Ah. Mordecai. I was expecting you.", Rigby said, turning to him.
"I see you've been killing time with those two.", Mordecai guessed.
"Yeah, tell me something I don't know.", Rigby said calmly.
"You're doing this because you want a punchies game, right? Then, let's finish it.", Mordecai said.
Rigby grunted with a nod in compliance before he ran toward Mordecai, jumped and punched Mordecai right in the arm, causing an explosion of light.
But when it dimmed, Rigby was more surprised than joyful, if at all.
"What?", Rigby puzzled before the dust cleared to show that Mordecai was not injured at all.
"How can you still be standing after that?", Rigby asked.
"Probably because I learned 'The Death Block.'", Mordecai responded as he held up the page for it.
"It worked pretty good for a first try, either that or your Death Punch totally blows.", Mordecai responded.
"STOP TALKING!", Rigby retorted angrily before charging into punch again only for Mordecai to block it again.
"Hmm-hmm! You're never gonna beat me at punchies!", Mordecai discouraged before Rigby roared and repeatedly punched Mordecai and failed each time, making the hole wider and deeper with Skips, pops, Muscleman (who still had black eyes), Hi-Five ghost, Alex, Bridgette, Candice, Josh, and Emily watching in awe.
"Wow. They're really going at it.", Emily spoke.
"Tell me about it. They're practically drilling to the center of the earth, let alone the crust.", Alex agreed.
Eventually, Rigby started panting.
"Are you finished yet?", Mordecai asked.
"Not until I smash you!", Rigby retorted before punching Mordecai again and beginning to pant, but suddenly, a crack ripped up the wall causing rock and soil to fly out with the lava starting to ooze out of the crack.
"Whoa.", Mordecai spoke as he pointed toward the crack before Rigby turned around and saw it.
'What? Are you afraid of a little lava?", Rigby asked before he punched several more times with more cracks appearing and more lava seeping out.
"Dude, this is serious! We've gotta get out of here!", Mordecai shouted.
"Never! Not until I beat you at punchies!", Rigby refused before landing 3 more punches, making more lava spewed.
"Dude, stop! We're gonna die!", Mordecai urged.
"I don't care! I'm sick of you always winning! And it's not just you! First, Muscle Man beat me at Punchies! Then, Pops, and now, even Skips! And the one time I could win today, you learn the one Death Kwon Do move that irks me so even now! I'M IRKED!", Rigby shouted before Mordecai realized something about Rigby's statement.
In the flashbacks, he first punched Rigby in his arm. And again. And again. Then on his side. Then on his back. And finally, in in his arm like earlier today.
"This is bad.", Josh spoke.
"We gotta get down there.", Emily spoke, earning Josh's nod before she and Josh jumped down.
"Hey, be careful, guys!", Alex shouted.
"I'm not quitting 'till I win!", Rigby whined as he continued punching Mordecai before Josh shouted.
"Stop!", Josh shouted as he and Emily arrived.
"This has gone far enough!", Emily urged.
"I'll tell YOU...! When it's... gone... enough...!", Rigby shouted before punching Mordecai in the arm again, but this time, at half his full power, panting with Mordecai then "falling" to the ground.
"Aw! You got me, you got me! Aw, you got me! You win! We have to stop now 'cause I lost.", Mordecai spoke, faking.
"Hah! I told ya I was gonna win! In yo face! Yay-hay-hay! I finally get to be player one!", Rigby grinned.
"What?! That's what this is about?!", Josh asked.
"You just wanted to be player one?!", Emily added.
"That's all I ever wanted!", Rigby responded.
"Dude, you can totally be player one.", Mordecai responded before Rigby sobbed.
"Dude, quit crying. I said you could be player one.", Mordecai responded.
"I know, but what good is being player one now? We're just gonna die in this lava!", Rigby sobbed.
"Don't worry. We can get us away from the lava.", Emily assured.
"Really? How?", Rigby asked.
"We've learned quite a lot of moves in our training regimen.", Josh assured.
"How else do you think I learned the Death Claw?", Emily added.
"Well, there's that, but you think I'm dumb enough to steal only one Death Kwon Do move?", Mordecai responded.
"Wha-?", Rigby puzzled.
"Now, how do you wanna get outta here? 'The Death Jump' or 'The Death Dump'?", Mordecai asked.
"Aw, sick! Better go with the Death Jump.", Rigby responded.
"You better remember to give those back when this is over.", Emily spoke.
"Hold on tight.", Mordecai warned before Rigby climbed onto Mordecai before he flew up and shot across the sky with Rigby holding on as Josh and Emily shot out into the air as well.
"Look!", Pops shouted in amazement while Candice looked on in awe as did Bridgette and Alex.
"Okay, I definitely gotta learn how to do that someday.", Alex grinned.
"You think the rain might cool the lava down there?", Candice asked.
As if to answer, the smoke was coming from the lava along with some hissing down below.
"Does that answer your question?", Mela asked.
"Maybe we could make a well out of it.", Mona guessed before the group of four passed by the academy, not knowing that the cloud girl saw them.
"Whoa... This totally looks cool...! I should totally do that some time. But how?", the cloud girl said in awe.
Pondering this, she looked to see the "Death Kwon Do" building and saw some people with mullets and short-cut jeans.
"Hey, wait. The guy who saved me... Did he come from this place?", the cloud girl puzzled.
Later, the sensei was speaking to a customer at the academy.
"Why, yes sir, I have the Death Jump, and the Death Dump right he—", the sensei spoke before he opened the notebook only to find that both the Death Jump and Death Dump pages were ripped out, courtesy of Mordecai.
"NOOOOOOOOOO…!", the sensei began.
But fortunately, he saw the 3 missing pages on the table below the notebook.
"...OOOOOoooooo? Ah..., thank goodness. NOW, I have them. Feel free to pick whichever one you want to learn first.", the sensei said.
Then, the customer picked the Death Jump.
"Maybe that one?", the customer asked.
"Not bad.", Sensei said.
Then, the cloud girl entered the building.
"Good thing I have enough free time to give this place a try.", the girl asked.
The sensei looked up and saw the cloud girl as well.
"Ah. Hello. Welcome to the academy of Death Kwon Do. What is your name?", the sensei asked.
"My name? Well..., it's Cloudy Jay. But you can call me C.J. for short.", C.J. replied.
Meanwhile, Mordecai and Rigby are playing Dig Champs again.
"Da-da-da-da-da-Dig Champs!", the game announcer spoke.
"Aw, yes! It's finally happening!", Rigby grinned.
"Yep. For once being a huge baby actually worked out for you.", Mordecai grinned.
"Stop talking!", Rigby shouted before Mordecai gave a slight chuckle.
"Dude, just hurry up and play. You're just gonna die right at the beginning anyway.", Mordecai spoke.
"Mah-mah-mah-mah-mah-mah. Unn. I'll show you.", Rigby spoke before playing the game only for his character to get offed by a snail.
"Aw, what? Snails are bad? I thought snails were good!", Rigby puzzled.
"No, dude, snails are bad.", Mordecai stated.
"Aw, man. This sucks... I wanna be player two.", Rigby decided.
A/N: So, what'd you think? Pretty crazy, right? As I waited out the hiatus for this story, I came to thinking that for some reason, some people who left negative reviews seem triggered by "Eye of the Tiger" somehow. And seeing as I already put it in the first chapter once, I decided to change the music. Hence, "Friction" by Imagine Dragons. And in case you don't know, I added a reference from "Dragon Ball Z: Broly - The Legendary Super Saiyan", because THAT is how much I love one of my favorite scenes from the 8th DBZ movie. And there's another thing: I decided to add C.J. earlier on into the story to start fleshing her out as more of a main character and not a filler character. And know this.
