Here's a fun fact, this is the chapter that made me want to make this entire story.
Several days since the Selkidomus incident, and from what Amity heard, it was pretty crazy. She sadly couldn't focus on that right now, as she had to focus on the demo for Blight Industries.
'I already want this night to be over.' Amity thought with a groan, hating how long these demos take.
She was about to go on stage, when Odalia put her hands on Amity's shoulders.
"Remember honey, if you don't do this... I can ruin your friends lives." Odalia said, "Now go make us some money."
Amity went pale and nodded, before walking up on stage. What Amity didn't know, was that Odalia was bluffing, because she knew that if she tried anything, that damn demon princess would hunt her down. Odalia didn't want to admit it... but Luz did scare her.
'I need to keep mittens in line and away from that half-human spawn.' Odalia thought.
Amity walked on stage and stood there, waiting for her cue to begin. Her father wasn't far behind, moving to stand next to her and gave her a glance.
"Father." Amity said, almost emotionless.
"Amity." He responded, equally as emotionless.
Their relationship wasn't the BEST, but it was a lot better than Amity and Odalia.
"Alright folks, sorry to keep you waiting." Odalia said with a microphone headset, walking on stage, "Welcome to the monthly Blight Industries showcase!"
Everyone in the crowd, cloaked and hooded to mask their identities, cheered for Odalia in excitement as she soaked in their praise.
"Now, as per usual, Blight Industries has a lovely new assortment of home protection products for any and all of your consumer needs. Which my... lovely daughter... will show off." Odalia said, having a hard time saying lovely daughter.
'I think I'm gonna be sick.' Amity thought as Alador drew a spell circle.
From the side, an abomination rolled a display cart full of items onto the stage.
'Another day another scar.' Amity thought.
"Alador, if you would." Odalia said to him.
"Of course, dear." Alador said as he walked to the cart and picked up a weapon.
He pointed it at Amity and fired a net at her. Amity was wrapped up and knocked to the ground, making the crowd amazed and clap in awe.
"Our patented Abomination Net Launcher is now 20 percent more effective, along with special settings to make sure any "intruders" stay down." Odalia said as she looked at her husband.
"Such as electricity, heated, abomination, and barbed wire." Alador said.
'Great.' Amity thought, knowing she'd probably have to test those as well.
Amity let an abomination help her out of the net and stand her up for the next shot.
"Now, allow us to show you the other options." Odalia said as she turned to Amity. "And don't worry, our little girl is as tough as they come."
"Odalia, that's not part of the-"
"Shush." Odalia said.
'Let's see if this will change that attitude.' Odalia thought, before taking the weapon from Alador.
She switched it to electric nets, firing it at Amity as she was trapped again a well and shocked.
"GIIIIIIIIIIIIIH!" Amity let out as she grit her teeth and her hair stood up.
Amity fell to the ground and groaned. The crowd ooohed at the electric net as Odalia switched it to the heated option and fired again. This time wrapping Amity in a nearly red hot net, burning her exposed hands as her clothes began smoking.
"URRRRRRRR!" Amity groaned as she grit her teeth.
Odalia pressed a button on the side and made it burn even more.
"AHHH!" Amity yelled.
Odalia finally gave Amity a break and let the net fall.
"As you can see, the net in the heat setting can be remotely adjusted if you want to teach your intruders a lesson before the coven scouts arrive." Odalia said with a grin. "I mean, who wouldn't right?"
"Hahahahahahaha." The crowd laughed as Amity slowly got up.
'This sucks.' Amity thought.
"And now for the final setting, folk. Barbed wire!" Odalia said as she turned the dial to barbed wire.
Another net was fired at Amity, wrapping her in sharp barbed wire.
"UGH!" Amity let out as the barbs dug into her skin and made her bleed a bit.
Odalia put a hand on her necklace.
'How does that feel Mittens?'
'Like you're trying to kill me!' Amity thought with a hiss of pain.
'Excellent! That means it works!' Odalia thought happily.
Amity growled. Feeling the latch release, Amity slowly got up from the floor as she carefully threw the barbed wire net away.
"Odalia, that was not planned." Alador said to her.
"Don't worry, she can handle it."
"And if she can't? A dead child would be VERY bad for business." Alador muttered into her ear.
"If you don't like it, then you can leave." Odalia said.
Odalia moved away from Alador and placed the weapon back in the cart before picking up a new one.
"Our next item in home security is the Abomination Saber ! A sword handle containing a sliver of abomination muck that you can transform into any weapon you wish." Odalia said, holding a golden handle with a mauve orb at the top.
'Oh fuck me!' Amity thought, knowing she was about to be in for a world of trouble.
"But if a blade isn't your fancy, you can choose another of the various weapon choices." Odalia said, pushing the button to activate the Abomination Saber as a long mauve blade formed. "Current forms include but are not limited to a sword, an axe, a whip, or a morning star mace."
The whip was shown and then Amity was hit by it.
"AAH!" Amity let out as her left sleeve as ripped, leaving a red mark from the whip.
"As you can see, the Abomination Saber far surpasses what a real whip can do." Odalia said before whipping Amity again!
Amity's back stung and she fell to the ground in pain. Alador tried to get to Amity, but Odalia's oracle ghosts stopped him.
"Now for the fun part." Odalia said, before hitting Amity's back with the whip 10 more times, "Now that you can't even stand up, how about we move to the final product?"
"Odalia! That is enough!" Alador said, still held back by the ghosts.
"Shut up... she needs to learn that there are consequences to her actions." Odalia said.
"The abomintron isn't ready yet, there's still the-"
"It will be fine." Odalia said.
'It's not the abomiton in mostly worried about.' Alador thought as he glanced at Amity.
Odalia pressed a button and the floor opened up. The building began rumbling a bit as something slowly rose from below the stage, revealing it to be an abomination fused with golden robotic parts and engineering. The perfect combination of "science" and magic.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, that Abomitron is the greatest abomination creation in the modern world, it won't stop until it has completely destroyed." Odalia said, "Observe."
Odalia pressed a button and the abomitron started to target Amity.
'Oh this is not good.' Amity thought as she saw its arms shift into weapons.
Amity scrambled to her feet, just in time to, barely, dodge the attack.
"YEAH! WOOOOH!" The crowd cheered.
Amity quickly made her own abomination weapons, a sword and shield, and defended herself as the Abomiton kept attacking her. Her other injuries caused her to struggle. Every strike made he'd stumble and buckle as the abomitron was relentless and tireless.
'She's actually trying to kill me!' Amity thought as her back hit the stage wall.
The abomitron slammed her against the wall.
"AAAAH!" Amity screamed in pain as her sword broke.
Now all she had was her shield and she was blocking each and everyone slash from the abomitron! She was very weak, but she knew she had to do something.
'Fire! I can melt it with fire magic!' Amity thought as she tumbled to the side to dodge the next attack.
Acting fast, she got in her feet and drew a big spell circle to create a large fireball. She had one chance to succeed.
"Eat this!" Amity shouted, firing the fireball!
The crowd watched in anticipation as the Abomitron quickly changed its hand from a blade to a magic cannon?!
'It fires magic energy too?!' The crowd thought in surprise and amazement.
The two attacks Collided, which made Amity more worried, as she was screwed at this point. Amity felt pure fear build in her. Her back was against the wall, literally, and this thing was clearly not going to stop until it killed her. Odalia watched on with a smile, she hoped this would hurt. It's what Amity got for disobeying her. The abomitron returned it's arm to a blade... and stabbed Amity through the chest. Amity had no words, no scream, nothing except a few tears ran down her face as the abomitron kept it there for a few seconds. It pulled it out and went into a stasis mode with it's target dead. Amity fell to the ground as blood began to pool around her.
"Well then, wasn't that exciting folks?" Odalia asked, as if nothing happened.
'That's what consequences look like, Mittens.'
Alador was stunned, he didn't know what to do now... there was nothing that he could do. Odalia kept on going with her sales pitch.
"Well, I would like to thank you all for coming, and we hope that-"
Suddenly the glass on the sales meter shattered, which surprised Odalia.
"I-I-I guess you all love the abomitron." Odalia said, trying to keep a straight face.
Suddenly, anything glass began to shatter, loud and quick. Even the lights shattered, leaving the red emergency lights to dye the room red.
"Alador, what's... going... on?" Odalia asked, as the room temperature suddenly dropped and she could see her breath.
The large metal doors slammed shut and locked, trapping everyone inside. Odalia moved closer to Alador.
"What is going on?" Odalia whispered.
"I... I don't know." Alador said.
Suddenly, a faint giggle rang out, slowing getting louder and louder... coming from Amity's body. Odalia looked in horror as Amity slowly stood up, back facing Odalia. The laughter didn't stop, in fact, it was near psychopathic laughter.
"A-A-Amity?" Odalia asked, slowly moving over to her.
Amity's head suddenly turned 180 degrees, revealing black soulless eyes, sharp teeth, and tears made of blood running down her face, all while there was a wide smile plastered on her face.
"What's the matter mother?" Amity asked, "Surprised that I'm not pushing up daisies?"
Amity's body turned around, realigning her neck. Odalia looked at her in fear, before seeing a glowing pentagram on her wrist. Amity looked at it and smiled.
"Don't worry... she'll live... the seal won't allow her to die until I cash in my favor." Amity said.
The pool of blood began to change shape... becoming a pentagram, which then caught fire. Amity's laughter kept ringing out as the fire grew, completely blocking Amity from view. Odalia took a step back as the fire grew hotter. The fire died down and Amity was on her knees... behind Luz. Luz let out the most animalistic growl possible, before walking towards Odalia. Odalia kept moving back, trying her best to calm the demonic princess.
"N-n-now... surely we can just... talk this out?"
Odalia fell backwards on her fat ass and tried to crawl away. Luz reached down with her left hand and grabbed Odalia by the head, sinking her claws into Odalia's skull, making blood run down her face and pulled her to her feet. Luz's anger made the emergency lights start to flicker on and off every second, allowing the crowd to see Luz holding Odalia.

Odalia with Luz's arm shoved through Odalia's chest with Luz holding Odalia's heart.
"See you in hell, bitch." Luz said, before crushing Odalia's heart.
Luz pulled her arm out and let Odalia's body drop to the floor. Luz looked at the crowd, before snapping her finger, which unlocked and opened the doors.
"Leave."
The crowd listened and rushed out. Luz looked at Alador and glared at him.
"You are just as bad as that vile woman, but since I can't see any physical abuse in your soul, I will give you a chance." Luz said, "Be a true parent, not a neglectful one, if you don't, I will be back."
Alador could only nod with a shiver as he gazed at his unconscious daughter.
"A-And my other kids?" Alador asked.
"They're not as bad as you." Luz said.
Amity began to open her eyes and looked around, seeing her mother's corpse, and Luz standing nearby with blood coating her arm.
"L-L-Luz?" Amity asked, very tired, "W... what did you do?"
Luz closed her eyes and refused to look at Amity.
"What was needed." Luz said, before snapping her fingers and disappearing in a ball of fire.
She arrived back at the Owl House and walked inside, not saying anything when Eda asked about the blood. She went up to the room and started licking Odalia's blood off her arm.
"Ugh, she tastes as bitter as she looked." Luz said, "... I really fucked up. Amity probably is scared of me now. I just possessed her, killed her mom, and threatened her dad right in front of her... Way to go dumbass."
What Luz didn't realize, as she never turned to look at Amity in the eyes, is that Amity was staring at her with admiration. Amity was glad Odalia was dead. She had crossed a line, and if it wasn't for Luz, Amity would have remained dead.
A little while later, Amity was getting out of the shower, but stopped when she looked at her reflection in the mirror... the killing blow had left a long scar from the top of her chest all the way down to her belly button. She ran a finger all the way down the scar and closed her eyes. She grabbed the wrist with the pentagram.
"Thank you."
Alador was down in his lab, trying to clean up from the mess that was the showcase.
"I don't think there will be one in the foreseeable future." Alador said, "What a mess."
He looked at a picture he had on his work bench. It was him along with the kids when Amity was less than a year old. He grabbed it and let out a small sigh.
"Maybe it is time to be better."
