Chapter 6

(Third Person P.O.V.)

Max and Yuuko were both in Akito's office together with Roberto, Kubo, Kat and Miharu as Akito was showing them footage on a screen and briefing them.

"Alright then, as you can all see the cargo freighter ship known as The Colosso ran into some kind of unknown problem that caused it to sink to the bottom of the sea, as for why this is important is simple, it was and still is carrying some dangerous cargo on board of it, that being Plutonium, which means its just sitting there where anybody can just go underwater and take it, Team Steel's mission is to go and retrieve it before it can fall into the wrong hands. Max and Yuuko, the two of you both will head down to the sunken ship's coordinates and retrieve the plutonium while Roberto, Kubo, Kat and Miharu all digitally direct you two via computer from back here in N-Tek HQ." Akito said in a calm and collected but still serious tone of voice and matching facial expression.

After the mission briefing, Max and Yuuko flew to the sunken ship's coordinates in an N-Tek plane that flew down as close to the water is could and opened its back hatch and dropped the new N-Tek two person manned submarine known as The Shark which had Yuuko and Max already in it into the water, where it dove down and began making its way to the location of The Colosso.

After locating it and arriving at its location they got in close and saw that there was a huge hole in the bottom of the hull of the ship and sent the visual to the rest of the team back at N-Tek HQ consisting of Roberto, Kubo, Miharu and Kat.

"Guys can you analyze this huge whole to try and figure out what made it?" Yuuko said to the other members of team Steel over her communicator in a calm and curious but also serious tone of voice and matching facial expression.

"Already on it Yuuko." Roberto said in a calm and collected tone of voice over the communicator as he and the others received the visuals on all three Roberto's and Kubo's to smaller individual computer screen monitors and also the third giant computer screen monitor so that all of them could see.

"We should have an answer for you two as to what caused that massive hole soon." Kubo said in a calm and collected tone of voice over the communicator.

After a few minutes of waiting the other members of team Steel finally responded back on the communicator.

"Yuuko, Max, Roberto and Kubo just finished their analysis, I'm patching you guys back through to them." Miharu said in a calm and collected tone of voice over the communicator.

"Thanks Miharu." Yuuko said in a grateful tone of voice over the communicator.

"After we carefully looked at and analyzed the the massive hole the hull of the ship we were able to determine that the massive hole was caused by laser fire." Kubo said in a calm and collected tone of voice over the communicator.

"Which means that the problem that this ship ran into wasn't some kind of accident such as crashing into something big and hard enough to make that hole in the hull but someone who launched and underwater attack on it." Max said in a calm and collected but still very serious tone of voice with a matching facial expression.

Just then Shark's sonar picked up a large enemy submarine right behind them, Yuuko and Max then took evasive action as the enemy submarine fired homing torpedos at them as they then lauched counter measure explosives which the two torpedos struck instead, creating two massive underwater explosions, the shock waves of which knocked the sunken ship over and further down two a deeper part of the ocean floor.

The shock waves from the two underwater explosions also severely damaged Shark's sonar system, making so that Max and Yuuko could no longer find the enemy sub and also forced them to find cover and remain still so as to not be located by the enemy submarine's sonar system.

Max and Yuuko both then looked at each other to see if both of them were okay, which they were, they then contacted the rest of Team Steel.

"Kubo, Roberto, did you guys manage to get a good look at the sub and run a scan on it to try and identify it?" Yuuko asked in a calm and collected but still serious tone of voice over the communicator.

"Yes we did, but before we tell you, are two both alright?" Kubo asked in a concerned tone of voice over the communicator.

"Yeah, we're fine, just a little rocked from that surprise sneak attack is all." Max said in a calm, collected and reassuring tone of voice.

"That's good to hear, anyway that sub that attacked you guys seems to be of Russian make and design, The Akina, a real sea monster, sold illegally on the black market just last year, my guess is whoever is operating it they are the ones who attacked and sunk The Colosso." Roberto said in a calm and collected tone of voice over the communicator.

Meanwhile L'Etranger, had just left The Akina and was now swimming towards The Colosso in order to retrieve the Plutonium.

Back with Max and Yuuko, they were trying to think of a plan to deal with The Akina and retrieve the Plutonium.

"Yuuko, I have a plan but it is very risky." Max said in a calm and collected but still serious tone of voice as he looked at Yuuko with a matching facial expression.

"Max, I hate to say it but at this rate, I don't think we have many more options to choose from." Yuuko said in a calm and collected but still serious tone of voice as she looked back at Max with a matching facial expression.

"Alright then, here is the plan, after we locate the Akina, I swim up and force my way inside while you take Shark and constantly head straight for them, making them think you're going to shoot at them, splitting their attention between you on the outside and me on the inside. You understand Yuuko?" Max said in a calm and collected but still serious tone of voice and matching facial expression as he looked at Yuuko.

"Okay Max, I got it, just please be careful when you're out there." Yuuko said in calm and collected but still somewhat worried tone of voice as she looked back at Max with a Maxing facial expression.

"Don't worry, I always am. I'm Max Steel after all." Max said in a calm, collected, confident and reassuring tone of voice as he looked Yuuko with a matching facial expression before giving her a deep and passionate kiss on the lips which she returned.

After finishing the kiss they contacted the rest of Team Steel.

"Kubo, Roberto since you guys are remote controlling the plane above, is there anyway you guys can locate The Akina for us since our sonar was damaged in the initial assault." Yuuko asked in a calm and collected but still serious tone of voice over the communicator.

"We'd have to drop and detonate depth charges into the water to get an echo off of The Akina's hull, and that could damage Shark." Roberto said in a calm and collected but still very slightly worried tone of voice over the communicator as he looked over at Kubo with a matching facial expression who looked back at him with a similar facial expression.

"That's just a risk that we're just going to have to take." Max said in a calm and collected but still serious tone of voice over the communicator.

"Okay then, dropping depth charges, now." Roberto said in a calm and collected tone of voice over the communicator as he remotely dropped the depth charges from the plane into the water, which then detonated a few seconds afterwards.

"And there is your echo, and therefore the Akina, it's just a few miles away from you two, if you hurry you can catch it." Kubo said in a calm and collected tone of voice over the communicator.

"Thanks guys." Max said in a grateful tone of voice over the communicator before he and Yuuko went off in Shark to catch up to the Akina.

After arriving but still keeping their distance so as not to be spotted, they saw L'Etranger, swimming out of The Colosso with the box that contained the Plutonium in it.

Max then got his diving suit on and swam out of Shark and followed L'Etranger back to The Akina, using his invisibility stealth mode from his Bio-link to stay hidden so as to not be spotted by L'Etranger.

L'Etranger then made it back to The Akina which he entered with the Plutonium through a hatch which he closed and locked shut behind him after re-entering The Akina, allowing Max who was still in stealth mode to find said hatch and grab on to it as The Akina began to move, as L'Etranger made it back to the bridge of The Akina.

"Yuuko, I found the hatch that will allow me to enter The Akina, hurry and initiate the fake attack to on The Akina!" Max said in a serious tone of voice to Yuuko over the communicator.

"Right I'm on it!" Yuuko replied to Max over the communicator in an equally serious tone of voice, as she piloted Shark at super high speed towards The Akina, sending an alert out among its entire crew.

Max then used his superhuman strength to rip open the hatch that he was holding on to and entered into The Akina.

Meanwhile on The Akina's bridge, L'Etranger and his all female crew now got another alert about the hatch having been opened and now they were taking in water and therefore the area where the hatch was located was being flooded.

"Sir the hatch must have gotten damaged by the enemy sub, we're taking on water, what should we do?!" One of L'Etranger's female subordinates asked in a serious tone of voice.

"Close the flood bay doors quickly!" L'Etranger ordered to his female subordinates in a serious tone of voice.

Max now seeing that the only door leading further inside of The Akina was closing, dashed out and dove in through the door before it fully closed and quickly got back up to his feet, to which he then saw two female subordinates wearing black helmet masks and clad completely in black.

"Oh hey, what's up?" Max said in a calm and collected tone of voice as one of the two black clad masked females tried to punch him, which he dodged.

One of the two hench women continued to throw punches and kicks at Max who merely blocked, dodged and countered them and fight against him, while the other spoke into a communication box.

"We have an intruder in The Akina, send reinforcements quickly." The other of the two hench women said into the communication box in a serious tone of voice before Max knocked her out by hitting her in the head with a superman punch after knocking out and sending the other hench woman he was fighting flying with a spinning back kick to the head.

Meanwhile back on The Akina's bridge, L'Etranger was issuing orders to the rest of his crew.

"Sir we have an intruder on board The Akina what do we do?!" One of L'Etranger's female subordinates asked in a serious tone of voice.

"First try to re-establish torpedo lock on the enemy submarine, also order any and all hands who are not here on the bridge to deal with the intruder!" L'Etranger said in a calm and collected but still very serious tone of voice.

The hench woman went to go do just that but as she was about to operate the targeting controls some one tapped her on the shoulder, she then turned around to see who it was the was immediately punched in the face and knocked out, L'Etranger then himself turned around and saw Max standing there over his knocked out subordinate.

"Max Steel, it seems that we meet again." L'Etranger said in a calm and collected but still serious tone of voice as he got into a fighting stance.

"Yes indeed, though to be honest I would have actually preferred that we not." Max said in a calm and collected but still serious tone of voice as he too got into a fighting stance.

"Hmm, well on a different subject I do recall your partner, tell me how is Mademoiselle Yuuko Kinoshita?" L'Etranger said in a calm and collected tone of voice.

"Sorry L'Etranger, but I would rather talk about Dread?!" Max said in a serious tone of voice but held back his anger to as to not shout and show it.

"Dread and I have gone our separate ways, I'm in the arms dealing business and also work strictly freelance only now." L'Etranger said in a serious and slightly offended tone of voice.

"And look how that has gone for you so far." Max said in mocking tone of voice and matching facial expression before throwing a round house kick that L'Etranger blocked and countered with left hook punch which caught Max right on the cheek and then tried to follow up with a right hook punch, only for Max to block it and counter with an elbow strike to L'Etranger's jaw which he then followed up with a straight right punch to the cheek which sent L'Etranger reeling back.

Max then charged in and threw a left front snap kick to L'Etranger's midsection, but L'Etranger blocked it and countered with a front leg sidekick to Max's midsection which knocked him back a little bit, L'Etranger then grabbed Max's head and delivered a knee strike to Max's midsection and followed up with a downward elbow strike to Max's back and before kicking him in the body which knocked him back, but Max rolled out of it and back to his feet.

L'Etranger then charged at Max and tried to hit him with a right straight punch, but Max dodged it and countered with a roundhouse kick to L'Etranger's midsection and followed it up with a left hand back fist to the side of L'Etranger's head and then a right hook punch to his cheek, which knocked L'Etranger down and out, ending the fight.

Max then quickly located the container with the Plutonium in it and grabbed it, he then made his way back to the hatch where entered The Akina from and got out and swam back to the Shark and therefore also to Yuuko with the Plutonium in hand, and not a moment too soon as The Akina was on a crash course with some large underwater stone faces.

"Max you did it!" Yuuko said in a cheerful tone of voice over the communicator.

"Yep, what can I see, it was a piece of cake." Max said in a cheerful tone of voice over the communicator.

Later on Max, who was now back to being Akihisa was happily sitting down and having breakfast with Yuuko at their beach house while they watched the sunrise.
