The next day, Penny sat in her agency's waiting room; however, this time, she was waiting for her literary agent, Marisol, instead of her acting agent.
It had been a chaotic night with Sheldon's maybe love story unfolding right before her. Sheldon was reserved when meeting him but seemed pretty at ease with Amy. She wondered if Sheldon was the type to fall in love at first sight. He might be a bit more romantic than her. It had taken her years to fall in love with Leonard, and she wondered how long it would take her not to love him anymore. Yet, she had been the one who couldn't admit that she loved him. Leonard seems to love her despite all her faults, but it feels shallow. Whenever they argued or disagreed, he reminded her of her mistakes and what made her feel inadequate. The scariest part is that she thought she would lose her identity if she stayed with him.
She couldn't act like herself since he needed someone more dependable than her.
Finally, Marisol called her in. Before she sat down in front of her, Marisol said, "This book is fantastic!, Penny. I would love to represent you as your literary agent."
"Oh, umm, thank you. That would be great", Penny said.
"I am preparing to send it to our editors and have a few ideas about potential publishers. We will most likely go through three to four edits. Would you like a more detailed explanation? I know this is your first book?", Marisol said.
"Marisol, you read my mind," Penny said. Marisol gave Penny a quick overview of the publishing process. Penny asked a few questions and was looking forward to the day her book would be published.
Leonard was driving and Sheldon appeared to be texting.
"What's going on? Who are you texting?" Leonard asked as he merged into another lane to make a right turn.
"I'm texting Amy" he said.
"Oh is she your girlfriend now?" asked Leonard.
"No, of course not. She's my fiance" said Leonard.
Leonard immediately pull over and parked the car. He even hit the curb as he struggle to park the car and take off his seatbelt to face Sheldon.
"What! What do you mean your fiancee?" said Leonard.
"You know we are engage to be married. She seems compatible and the best part of she is a neurosurgeon. So I don't have to teach her anything about science, she knows already!" said Sheldon.
"Sheldon! You don't even know this girl! You can't even get married" said Leonard.
"Of course I can. She agreed. We even made a contract, it has fewer pages than our roommate agreement but its because its just a pre-nuptial agreement" said Sheldon.
"Wait what! Sheldon, marriage is more serious than a roommate. Why are you trying to get married?" asked Leonard.
"Simple. We can change the world. She'll be Madame Curie and I'll be Mr. Curie. Physics will never be the same. The sooner we get married the sooner we can change the world" said Sheldon.
"You are not Pierre Curie! Where did you get such a strange idea?" said Leonard.
"Penny's book. If just having a simple fling with you can change her imagine what being married to me can do for Amy and the world." said Sheldon.
Leonard started the car and Sheldon said "What were are you going? The university is that way!" said Sheldon.
"There's no way you can go and teach today. Let's see if we can get you committed" said Leonard as he drove to the nearest hospital.
Raj and Howard sat across each other in the university cafeteria. It was noon, Sheldon and Leonard were absent.
"Dude, I'm telling you I saw Leonard's car as they drove past me in the morning. I even wave but then Leonard just drove off. You think he's mad at me?" asked Raj.
"Why would he be mad at you? Leonard a pretty easygoing guy. When are you off?" asked Howard.
"Around 5:30 and you" said Raj.
" Let's meet up at 6 and head towards Leonard's apartment" said Howard.
"Deal. Oh by the way, can you fix the sink in my lab?"asked Raj.
"Sure why not. Compare to doctors, engineerings have nothing else to do!" said Howard.
"Don't be so hard on yourself. You contribute alot to the university" said Raj.
Howard and Raj then spoke about the latest episode of Heroman.
