Hello! I am so sorry with how long I've been taking with these chapters! i've tried to pump them out quicker, and I failed. For that, I sincerely apologize.

Also, finally watched Akito the Exiled. I'll give you my thoughts at the end of this chapter.

"Anya!" Suzaku shouted. "I'm glad you're here!"

The Mordred did not respond; instead, it changed its angle a bit. As its canon charged, Suzaku's eyes widened. He didn't need to say anything, as the knights also saw it coming. They released Suzaku, who drove back in reverse as the red beam blasted where everyone just was a second ago. Had they remained in place, not a trace of them would be left. Suzaku could only express shock and confusion. "Anya…"

The other knightmares didn't move, their pilots unsure of how to act. "Black Knights, do you have any idea what is going on?!" Shaurya asked.

"I honestly don't know." Kallen said. "Then again, Britannia has been acting completely out of character today."

"The enemy of my enemy is not my friend. Not necessarily." Zero's voice said across the knightmares. "I do not believe the Knight of Six is inside that machine."

Fadah blinked. "Wha-?"

"Only Kuurugi and Weinberg were in charge of this raid; Madam Alstreim was suspiciously absent. I cannot say whether a more sadistic pilot was given the Mordred or if someone commandeered it against her will, but as of right now, the Mordred belongs to no knight of the round!"

The Mordred's particle cannon dispersed, as the beams bent in several directions to hit multiple targets at once. "Interesting tidbit, but that doesn't help much!" Fadah shouted as she rolled out of the way.

Lelouch knew to stay out of this fight; even with his prism shields, getting directly involved would endanger everything he worked for. Though the Gawain's combat specs were improved drastically, in the end it was meant as a defensive frame more than a direct combat one. And he wasn't even sure if the shields would hold up against the Mordred. "It seems like I'm in check!" Lelouch thought.

Still, he observed the battle closely; the Mordred seemed to be trying to destroy everyone in sight, while his frames plus Shaurya's were fighting for survival, and the confirmed Rounds desperately trying to make sense of everything. "How do I know I'm not in mate?"

He suddenly heard a knock against the Gawain's leg. Looking down, he saw CC standing casually below him. Tuning his audio receivers, he listened. "The Gawain is a dual unit, just like last year." CC said. "You cannot operate it to its full potential without a partner." Lelouch looked down at her, and smiled slightly.

He lowered the other hand, opening it for her. "Come inside." Moving her towards the cockpit, the Gawain opened up for her.

Lelouch moved to the backseat, while CC took the front. "Like old times." CC said as she made adjustments.

"So, you piloted this with me?" Zero asked.

"Yes." CC said. She stopped, turning back to him. "I thought you remembered-?"

"Only small parts." Lelouch said. "Not enough to help me remember who I am. I will explain later."

CC turned back. "I see." She said in her usual monotone voice. Had Lelouch paid closer attention, he would have noticed the crack in her voice.

"For now, let's fly and observe." Lelouch ordered. "As bad as the situation has gotten, I am confident my knights can survive until I can figure out a path to victory."

CC smiled slightly. "You may not be whole yet…but I'm seeing traces of the old Zero within you."

Kallen made the Guren jump as beams tried to tag her. Mimicking her natural movements, the Guren performed several backflips and perfectly dodged each one. Kallen grimaced as she stared the enemy down. "Time to bring you down!" She activated the Guren's wings, quickly flying up to meet it at its level. The Mordred fired its scatter particle beams again, but the Guren barrel rolled out of the way of each one.

Suzaku aimed his slash harken in an attempt to snare her, but the Oberon intercepted with its spear, catching the wire. "I'll be your opponent!" Fadah announced.

"Careful what you wish for." Suzaku reeled the harken in, pulling the Oberon in and hitting it with his trademark spin kick. The Oberon fell on its back, as Suzaku raised the Lancelot's leg into an axe kick; given its size and intended arc, the damage would have been devastating.

However, Shaurya slammed into him, saving Fadah. "This is not your concern, Chawla!" Suzaku took an MVS sword and tried to stab at him. The Sher Shah held its shield and blocked, but the sheer force dented it and pushed him back.

"You made it our concern the moment you came in here!" Shaurya shot back. He made excellent swipes with the MVS Talwar; with Suzaku being unfamiliar with the Indian martial arts, Shaurya was able to throw the Lancelot off and onto the defensive.

"Let's see if your new features work, Rakshata!" Kallen turned a key-like switch in the ignition. "Tsukiyomi mode!"

Suddenly, the Guren was surrounded by holographic projections of itself. The Mordred fired, it's mega canon particle phasing through its target. It then activated its dispersal lasers. They hit several targets, but all of them proved to be false. "Rahhh!" The Guren landed on the Mordred's back, using its claw to make a huge gash in the frame. Kallen pulled out the fork-knife, but the Mordred turned and grabbed the Guren right below the head unit, like it was trying to choke the dragon-like frame. "Shit!"

Though the Guren was more than a match for the Mordred based on the numbers, its bulky frame gave the later a strength advantage. Kallen's first instinct was to use the Radiant Wave Surger, but it needed to recharge; the Tsukiyomi holograms took a toll on the unit's energy. "You may be bigger, but I'm not someone you want to get close to!"

Kallen fired the missiles on its back, causing the Mordred to release and fly back. Being too big to dodge nimbly, it fired its lasers, obliterating them.

Lelouch carefully observed the fight, CC ready to take off. "What do you see?"

Looking back, she could see the focus in his eyes. His left hand caressing his face, while his right typed on the console out of habit. "Suzaku is performing much better than I expected, though I do not understand why. His movements are theoretically possible, but a pilot would have to push himself to his absolute limits; if he survives this, he will be feeling it in the morning. Weinberg is fighting as expected, so that's good news for us. Mostly. And whoever is in the Mordred is in fact performing worse than Alstreim would."

"And you don't believe that last thing is good?" CC asked.

"If someone else is piloting it, she would have to know it would under-perform. They must have a contingency."

CC continued to stare forward. "I agree. Do you have a plan?"

"A rough draft, of sorts." Lelouch said. "I'm making this up as I go along." Even so, he was able to say that with confidence.

CC managed to crack a smile slightly. "You always did." She pushed on the joysticks, causing the Gawain to fly forward.

Gino charged in with his lances, against Fadah's Oberon. He had the advantage with two functioning arms and dual weapons. Yet Fadah pressed on, using her weapon's superior reach to bat them away. "Impressive!" Gino exclaimed. "I would have loved to fight you if your frame wasn't damaged!"

"Be careful what you wish for." Fadah warned him, a hint of flirtation in her voice. "That just might happen one day. Assuming you survive this."

Her knightmare's good hand slid down the pole, letting her close in close to Weinberg's Tristan by pressing the shaft against him. Though he was pushed back, his lances kept her spear locked in place. She then fired off her wrist guns; Gino saw it and jerked the Tristan's head to the side, but it still took out the left eye. "Shit!" Though half his vision was clipped, Gino's reflexes were good enough for him to circle her and slam her from behind. The Oberon's head nearly grazed the ground as it wheeled forward. Fadah turned the frame around, but Gino got in a good slice right below her cockpit. Fadah didn't back down, as she fired her harkens, but missed. Gino smirked, but hearing something drag, he turned to see what it was. Fadah's harkens dragged an entire column, and by the time Gino realized what it was, it hooked his frame's legs and caused him to topple over. Fadah would not waste this chance, and leaped up with her spear, fully intending to kill him.

"I'm not out of the game yet!" Gino flipped a switch and two machine gun turrets popped out of the unit's shoulders.

"Shit!" Fadah activated her flight thrusters, but the Oberon still caught a lot of bullets. As she touched down, the alarms on her console began to blare, her cockpit flickering with red lights. "Hold it together!" Fadah flipped a switch on her spear, causing the tip to spin like a drill. She rolled to his side, trying to stay out of the line of fire. Gino quickly turned, but she managed to bob and weave from the bullets. She extended her spear, clipping off one of his turrets. However, Gino grabbed hold of the spear and made a move to impale her cockpit.

However, the green prism shield suddenly appeared in front of Fadah, protecting her. Saved from a potentially fatal blow, Fadah retaliated with a push lick to the Tristan. Both turned to the Gawain. "I had it under control!" Fadah complained.

"Perhaps." Zero replied calmly. "But best not to take that chance."

"It may mean nothing coming from me, but I would ask you to please step aside, Zero." Gino replied. "I was having a great fight here."

"If a King does not lead, how can he expect others to follow?" Zero replied. "I may be no match for you, but I can support my soldiers at least. And if you're not careful, I just might finish you myself."

Gino could only smirk. "I'd like to see you try that." Gino suddenly charged him, slashing with his lances.

The Prism Shields came up. Quickly Lelouch retaliated with a laser, forcing Gino to retreat. It didn't end there; Lelouch fired all the finger cables, ensnaring his lances. Fadah moved in for the kill, but the Tristan twisted and knocked her back. "Shit. He is very good." Zero thought as he opened up communications.

"YAAHHH!" Kallen made a mighty swipe with the Guren's claw and clipped the Mordred, the bulky red knightmare fired its harkens it retaliation. Kallen unfortunately could not avoid being ensnared, and was pulled in quickly. "Shit!"

Using the legs, Kallen stopped herself from being pulled into a bear-hug, but she was open to a point blank blast. Kallen's first instinct was to fly away, but at the last second moved her gliding system TOWARDS the Mordred. Taken off guard, the Mordred couldn't deploy its own blaze luminous thrusters fast enough to counter the force and was pushed towards the ground. Using her forked knife, Kallen cut the cables and kicked off. The Mordred managed to avoid a crash at the last second, righting itself and firing its cannon.

A prism shield moved in front of the Guren at the last second. It stopped the blast, but the green energy was turning red. Kallen took that as a signal to fly away, as the shield dispersed when the energy proved too much. "Kallen!" Lelouch shouted into her com. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine!" Kallen said. "She's tough, but not invincible! You?"

"CC and I are managing!" Lelouch grunted. CC hurriedly put full throttle on the thrusters as she avoided Gino's Harkens. "Kallen, I've a feeling they know they can't win here! If Alstreim is not piloting the Mordred, I suspect this is a kamikaze mission for the pilot!"

"Yeah, I had a sneaking suspicion as well!" Kallen said as she pushed her thrusters forward. The Mordred tried to fire at the Guren point blank, but Kallen tossed her fork knife like a boomerang, knocking the cannon off target. "How bad do you think this will be?"

"Well, since the pilot hasn't self-detonated from the start, I imagine that there is some hope to preserve the Mordred at least." Lelouch answered.

The bulky knightmare fired off its lasers, and the Guren flew away, barrel-rolling to avoid them. "So, a normal explosion?" Kallen tried attacking with the Guren's claw, but the knightmare floated back just enough to avoid it, and quickly countered with a hard punch to the Guren's head. Kallen's cockpit shook, and her cameras went static for a moment. Thank goodness for Rakshata's engineering; otherwise her knightmare would be headless right now.

"I'm afraid not." Lelouch answered. "They're protecting something."

The Mordred flew towards her with its arms outstretched, but Kallen grabbed hood of its hands as they wrestled in the sky. "So, that bad? And if I win…"

"They will believe all they have is the last resort."

Now the Mordred began pummeling the Guren, forcing it to break away and retreat. "So, if we get them in checkmate…"

"-it's game over for us."

CC pushed the controls hard to the right, avoiding the Tristan's gunfire while Lelouch fired the Hadron Cannons; the Tristan managed to evade it, only losing part of its shoulder plate. "Well Zero. Time to get that brilliant mind of yours to work." CC said sarcastically. "And please, spare us the 'I don't work well under pressure' excuse."

"It is true, but I'm not interested in excuses, I want solutions." Lelouch said matter-of-factly. "Rakshata, your father his a weapon of mass destruction in this area. Perhaps he could hide something else we can use?"

Inside the closed fist of the Gawain, Rakshata thought. "Um, there's the underground military rooms, a special intelligence office, and…" Rakshata seemed to blank there.

The Gawain was shook as the Tristan hooked it in and kicked it across the head. The cameras went to static for a moment. "Rakshata!" Lelouch shouted.

"We have a satellite launcher!" Rakshata shouted.

"A satellite launcher?" Lelouch repeated.

"It's under the federation's approval; they will send satellites or even astronauts into space to collect information. It could take time, but-"

"Say no more, Rakshata!" Lelouch sneered in anticipation. "I've a plan!" Lelouch flipped communication signals. "Q-1, Bishop 2! Chawla! Follow my lead, but don't lose your opponents!"

The Gawain fired a missile from its shoulder that went straight up. "What's that?" Gino asked, holding up his lances. However, instead of exploding in shrapnel and fire, it became a bright light. "Ngh!" Gino held his arm up, shielding his eyes.

"Roger!" Kallen kicked the Mordred away, and flew off. She pushed the knightmare to maximum thrust, her frame's wings sending out bursts of light like a rocket.

Indeed, the Gawain reached the site quickly, a large, circular courtyard. There was one building close by, and virtually nothing else in the immediate area. "They were going to launch them from here?!"

"With all the secrets beneath parliament, of course we could do it! Plus we can do work without the High Eunuchs looking over our shoulders!" Rakshata explained.

Before Zero could respond, a beam of energy grazed the Gawain's arm. "Zero, Lancelot is closing in on you!" Kallen warned him.

"Brace yourself Rakshata!" Zero called. "You're going to be dropped; make sure you roll!"

"What?!" The Gawain swooped low, and almost tossed Rakshata on the ground like it was passing a ball to a toddler. She screamed, but managed to roll with it, ungracefully as she did. "Damn it, I'm not Kallen!" Rakshata shouted as she shot up and brushed herself off.

The Gawain righted itself and faced the other way, just in time to raise its shields to block Suzaku's shots. "Get to work, Rakshata! I'm pinned here!"

"Right!" Rakshata ran inside the building.

"Q-1, engage the Mordred again, but hold back! Make sure it doesn't self-destruct until we're ready!"

"Roger!" The Guren spun and kicked the Mordred back. The Mordred fired its beams again, but Kallen barrel-rolled rolled, using its fork-knife to block the beams.

As Suzaku and Gino closed in on Zero, Fadah and Shaurya skated towards them. "We need to hold them off!" Fadah shouted.

"Yes!" The two knightmares crossed and engaged their enemies. Fadah fought Gino while Shaurya engaged Suzaku.

Rakshata somehow managed to kick the door down, no doubt enhanced by her adrenaline. Quickly, she found the main console, and began to type in. "Come on…yes!"

The schematics of the rocket showed up. It was prepped for launch, ready to breach the atmosphere. No doubt the Indian territories were getting ready to take steps to become powerful enough to rival the three powers of the world. Rakshata got to work to activating it…when something came up. "Oh no…"

Shaurya engaged Suzaku as they crossed swords; unfortunately, Suzaku was still going strong, and with the Sher Shah still incomplete, he couldn't compete with Suzaku for long. The Knight quickly knocked the swords out and kicked him away. With Shaurya on his back, Suzaku fired his slash harkens.

The Gawain intervened with its Blaze Luminous Shields, though they managed to just break through and disperse the energy, the hooks falling limply to the ground. Suzaku turned and fired his rifle, forcing CC to dodge. "Careful!" She warned. "Any attempt to engage Suzaku will make him turn on you!"

Lelouch grimaced as the Lancelot closed in and tried to slash him with his swords. They dodged, but the hull was still scratched. "Even taking into account Lancelot's specs and Suzaku's record, this shouldn't be possible!"

"It must be the Geass you imbued him with!"

"Geass?" Lancelot pulled back its fist and managed to punch the Gawain in the head, forcing it back onto the ground.

"A while ago, Suzaku was willing to die with you if it meant killing Zero and serving the empire! You commanded him to live!"

As the Lancelot grabbed Gawain by the body, it began to squeeze. "What does that have to do with this?!"

"Geass, depending on its properties, can make people surpass their physical limits!" CC explained. "Your command must make his body release almost deadly levels of adrenaline, if he fears he may die!"

"Zero, come in!"

"Make it quick, Rakshata!"

"The program is password protected! I can't get in!"

"Can't you just hack it?!" One of the Gawain's hadron cannons took aim, but Lancelot grabbed it with its hand and ripped it off.

"I'm an engineer and a programmer, not a hacker!" Rakshata yelled into her comm. "Scientists can't be expected to know everything! The media lies to you about that!"

The Gawain fired its grappling claws, surprising Suzaku. The Gawain then attempted to fly up with the Lancelot, but Suzaku grabbed hold of the cables and put his land-spinners in reverse, holding the gold knightmare in place.

"There must be a clue!" Lelouch said. "The name of a loved one, his favorite dish, historical figure! Something!"

The Lancelot gave a mighty tug, and pulled the Gawain in. Before Lelouch could put up his shield, the Lancelot punched the Gawain right in the head, putting a considerable dent in its face.

Shauryua parried Gino's lance as he listened in on their conversation. "It's mother! It's her name!"

Rakshata's eyes widened. "Mother…" She typed in her name, Bhavana, quickly, and the screen turned green. "Yes!" Rakshata clapped. "Zero! I'm initiating the launch!"

Rakshata quickly types in the commands, and the catwalk retreated, the floor underneath opening up to reveal a rocket, ready to fly off.

"Excellent! Well done!" Lelouch looked to his co-pilot. "C2!"

"Roger!" CC disconnected the wires, allowing the Gawain to fly off.

The Lancelot lost its balance, but didn't falter. "You won't get away!"

"Kallen!" Lelouch called. "We're ready for you!"

"Roger!" Kallen kicked the Mordred back, and flew towards the rocket. Kallen then noticed the specs light up on her monitor as it detected a spike in energy from the Mordred. "It's just like Zero said!" She prayed that she could time this perfectly…

The rocket appeared from under the trap door, flying to the sky. The Guren shot backwards, ramming right into the Mordred. The bulky knightmare did not stumble though, as it grappled with Kallen. "You really are on a suicide mission, aren't you?!" Kallen grunted.

The pilot had no answer. He just blankly starred back, the only distinguishing feature on him being the symbol of Geass on his forehead.

Kallen had Guren go with it as the Mordred pushed it forward. As Kallen saw her sensors alerting her to the approaching rocket, she had the machine flip over and take the Mordred with it. She managed to resist the Gs, and released her target. The Mordred nearly flew into the rocket, but righted itself at the last moment. Kallen, however, did not waste this moment. "Remind me to kick myself for ever suggesting to Rakshata to stop innovating!" The Guren's left hand reached the wrist of the Radiant Wave Surger claw, and pulled put a chain. The Guren flew forward, holding the chain in front. She quickly pinned the Mordred against the rocket, and wrapped the chain tightly as she spun around it. The Mordred fired one of its lasers, managing to nick the Guren but could not free itself in time, now chained to the rocket.

Kallen managed to kick the legs out and skirt along the court, ruining the floor and ultimately crashing into one of the buildings. "Kallen, are you okay?!" Lelouch shouted, forgetting the persona of Zero for a moment.

The impact did shake Kallen and cause her to smash into the controls, giving her a bump. "I'm okay." She breathed.

Everyone looked up to see the Mordred explode. Even so high up, the explosion was absolutely deafening, and the shock waves either knocked any knightmares or pinned them to the ground. Had it happened any lower, it could have easily taken out everything in a two-mile radius. "What fearsome power!" Lelouch thought. "Even with using a rare knightmare like the Mordred, the damage-!" Though they survived for the time being, Lelouch feared for the future. If Britannia was capable of making such fearsome weapons, what chance did the Black Knights have? What was to stop Britannia from using weapons of mass destruction?

Eventually, everyone in a knightmare recovered, and stood. Suzaku aimed the Lancelot's rifle at the Gawain, when a message came into him. It was Schneizel's line! Suzaku opened it, not taking his eyes off Zero. "Your highness!" Suzaku said. "I have Zero in my sights-"

"Suzaku, withdraw!" Schneizel commanded him.

Suzaku was taken aback. "My lord, I have him-!"

"The day is lost, Suzaku." Schneizel explained. "Had this been taken care of quickly, this could have been swept under the rug. But now, not even the Federation will be willing to overlook this. This is not your fault; there are other forces at work that neither Britannia nor the Black Knights have control over. I have confirmed Anya is in her room; retrieve her and board the Hannibal. They are all my personal guard, you will be safe there."

Suzaku growled, gripping his controls…and relaxed, the Lancelot lowering its weapon. Suzaku spun the machine around, repeating his command to Gino. The Tristan converted to its glider mode. "This isn't over, Lelouch." Suzaku said.

"I know." Lelouch agreed. As the Lancelot's pack activated, Lelouch called "Suzaku!" Though he said nothing nor turned, Lelouch could tell he had his attention. "Whatever happens, make sure the princess is safe." Suzaku still didn't answer, instead opting to take off.

Lelouch sighed, holding his head. "Lelouch to all Black Knights: You have done exceptionally well in aiding us in this battle. Unfortunately, we failed in securing this alliance. But there are other corners of the world where there is still hope. We must accept some things are beyond our control, and know we have done our best."

Tamaki held up Todoh's Zangetsu, prepared to follow. Kallen and Fadah approached, prepared to air lift them. Rakshata only looked in the sky in horror, then to Shaurya's knightmare. She looked on sad, and realized that at the end of it all, their father died. "Shaurya Chawla." The Sher Shah turned its head towards him. "Please join us."

The Sher Shah suddenly rushed towards him. Rakshata looked on in shock. "Shaurya!"

The Sher Shah pointed its blade to the Gawain's neck. The gold knightmare did not move, not even to raise its shields. "You have a poor sense of jokes, Zero."

"I do not joke." Zero said, his voice betraying no fear. "I'm sorry for your father; had I known my presence would ultimately lead to his death, I would have never came." Shaurya still did not lower his blade. "Do you wish for revenge?"

"Why else do you think I've a blade to your knightmare's neck?" Shaurya hissed.

"You think I am the only target? Will you be satisfied if I alone leave this earth? I may have been the catalyst, but Britannia ultimately struck the blow. Whatever his faults, your father ultimately wanted the world to be free of Britannia. And if you join me, you can help fulfill that dream." There was a pause between them. "What is your answer?"

It took a moment, but Shaurya lowered his sword. "Father did not trust the outside world. Seeing the Britannians and Chinese compete, he feared we must become them in order for our people to live."

"And to an extent, he was right." Lelouch answered. "But in doing so, India would have been just as cruel as the both of them."

"And your Japan will be different?"

"The United States of Japan that I envision will be a just nation, but that alone will not ensure the security of the world. I want a world of many just nations, where different people can live separately but with the utmost respect." The Gawain stepped forward, looking at the Indian Knightmare right in the optics. "What do you say?"

Under the surface, a pyramid emitted a pink light. Several people lined up, each having the sigil of Geass on their foreheads. "It is done." Anya said into the phone. "Chawla was some trouble, and foolishly tried to stop us. It seems he knew about the elevator; perhaps that was why he came so close to becoming a rival."

A couple of hooded figures forced a man down on his knees. He looked similar to the late minister, but with the Geass symbol on his forehead. "Brother…" he lamented.

"I'll have him sent to you. Unfortunately, I must return to the hotel; I cannot tip off the other knights…or Schneizel." With that, she shut her phone off. "Throw him in a cage, and get ready to send him to His Majesty!" Anya marched forward as the others did as she ordered.

To be honest, I'm a bit disappointed with myself on how this ended, but please, let me know what you think.

Now, Akito the Exiled. It was a mixed bag for me. Animation was excellent. It was a bit disjarring to see the knightmares in CGI, but I got used to it. It needs a bit of work still.

w .I liked that we were seeing another part of the world of Code Geass, but I feel this would have been better explored with a full series instead of 6 OVA episodes. The idea of Lelouch being used as a strategist/scapegoat for the empire is a great concept, but it barely affected the main plot, and in fact I think it wasted time on characters we already knew when that.

I enjoyed Leilah, seeing her struggles and being an interesting combination of Lelouch and Relina from Gundam Wing. But towards the end the plot became so all over the place I feel her story got shafted.

Akito was unfortunately a thin character with very little pay off. The trio from the Japanese ghettos also may as well not have been in this show. If they were to be cut from the final product, I feel nothing would be lost.

And here, I do not understand the Geass powers at all. A living skull gave Shin his Geass? What exactly does his Geass do? Is he issuing commands like Lelouch, or is his Geass power literally to make others kill themselves?

Does Akito have a Geass? Or is it a command? How was he able to share it with the others?

Does Leilah have an Anti-Geass of some sort? Does CC even remember her? And what was the deal with that phantom woman?

I can generally let a lot of things slide, and I can enjoy many stories in spite of their flaws. But I feel like the producers intended for this to be something so much more than what they were aboe to ultimately five us.

Overall an interesting take on the world of Geass, but with poorly developed characters and world building, it ultimately winds up being a waste of time.

I did like how the relationship between Leilan and Akito played out though, for some reason. So props to them on that.

So, if I had to sum it up, an interesting experiment that ultimately falls flat.

But maybe I'll add them in later.
