We cue on the mountainous region of the Ukraine and a massive forcefield surrounding what used to be Kiev.
"At the ends of the Earth lies a place so deadly, that it's been sealed off forever from the outside world," Roxie narrated as the camera panned into the massive EVO war zone.
"Welcome... to the Bug Jar," Rex narrated. "A massive nanite war space where monstrous creatures roam free."
"Where a faceless ruler, known as No Face, seeks to escape to inflict his wrath upon humanity. But now, the barrier's on the brink of failure."
"And now, the hope of all mankind rests in the bravest, most capable of hands!"
"Oh, and speaking of hands, Bobo, you've got four," Roxie said as she was on a bench working on the underside of one of Holiday's machines. "Think you can lend us one?"
Bobo lazily took a screwdriver out of the machine and dropped it into Roxie's hands, where it bounced out, causing her to pull out from under the machine and then glared at the chimpanzee EVO with a scowl.
"Whoops."
"Guys, what's the shield status?" Holiday asked the group over the intercom.
"The power regulator's completely trashed, Doc," Rex said. "We'll need to control it manually until we can get it started."
Roxie used her nanites to control the force field generator before pulling the lever... and then her nose caught a whiff of something incredibly foul.
"Kind of ripe in here," she said, her nose scrunching in disgust.
"That little back door there... not the bathroom," Bobo said in shame, causing the twins to shout out in anger and disgust at their sidekick as he picked up his radar. "More Bug Jar buddies... I got the last one."
"Fine. We've got this," Rex said. "Hold the lever."
Roxie stepped aside as Bobo took the lever from her as she and Rex turned to leave.
"And whatever you do, do NOT let go!"
"Or what?"
"Kaboom!" Rex shouted as he and Roxie ran out of the room... just as the generator started sparking and smoking outwards.
"They're gonna pay," Bobo groaned.
Outside in the sewer area of the Bug Jar, the twins gazed at their radars to see the bogeys coming in with a determined look as Roxie summoned her Smite Stick.
"Okay, little wormies. Come to mama bear," she said.
But as she and Rex turned their heads to see a rather unwelcome shadowy figure step into the light from one of the pipes as they gulped.
"Uh oh," Rex said. "It appears that even in this forsaken place, our faithful heroes still run afoul of their evil nemesis."
"Van Kleiss," Roxie said as Van Kleiss stepped into view. "Why am I not surprised?"
"Activating stealth suits," The twins then pulled their scarves over their mouths to activate their suits' invisibility as the Pack stepped out from behind him. "Looks like Van Kleiss decided to crash the party."
"Just like that guy not to phone ahead," Bobo said.
"And he brought his Pack flunkies," Rex sighed. "Biowulf, Skalamander, Breach... even Circe."
"Get ready, Bobo," Roxie said. "They're heading straight for us."
But then, the twins looked to see their archnemesis walk down another corridor.
"Or... someplace else. We're gonna find out where."
"No way. You're not leaving me here with-"
"Sorry, Bobo. Another call," Rex said as he picked up the call from Dr. Holiday.
"Rex, Roxie, why aren't you fixing that shield regulator?"
"Hint: you may remember him from such evil schemes as destroying Providence Headquarters and trying to take over the entire Earth," Roxie deadpanned.
"Van Kleiss? In the Bug Jar? You two are right. You should investigate... after you fix the shield."
"But then, it might be too late," Rex said.
"Oh. She's there, isn't she?"
"Who, Breach? Yeah, but..."
Roxie only facepalmed with a groan.
"A quick recon and that's it. I'll try to buy some time at this end. And I want regular check-ins."
"You got it, Doc," Roxie said as the twins hung up the call and reactivated their stealth suits, going after the Pack as they reached a ladder that led out of the Bug Jar's sewers.
But without warning, the Evoworm burst forwards and slammed the Bouncer EVOs into the wall, thrashing wildly as Biowulf and Skalamander slashed at it with their claws, but then, Van Kleiss thrust his golden gauntlet out and overloaded the Evoworm's nanites, causing it to drop dead into the sewer water.
"Intriguing," Van Kleiss said. "An entire divergent branch of EVO development."
As he turned to the ladder, Biowulf scoffed.
"This place is a waste of our time."
"Van Kleiss knows what he's doing," Circe assured. "It's not your place to question."
"Question!?" Biowulf asked. "You dare accuse me of disloyalty!?"
"Sorry," Circe said, rubbing her arm. "Get a grip."
As the Pack passed the corner, the invisible twins nodded to each other.
"With no care for their own safety, our brave heroes tail their quarry into the very lion's den," Rex said as the twins leaped over the Evoworm's corpse and followed the Pack up the ladder and into what used to be Kiev.
On the surface, Rex and Roxie hid from the Pack as they stood at attention.
"Unknown to the villain, he'll be meddling with forces he cannot hope to control.
A few EVOs crawled upwards as Van Kleiss turned to the Pack's resident siren.
"Circe, if you please?"
Cire ran forwards and grew her mouth out into the absolute grotesque probiscis and let loose her sonic sound waves that blasted into the EVOs... but that sound was enough for No-Face to burst from the outskirts as he landed in front of the area.
"Intruders!"
No-Face then sent both halves of Bouncer flying and was not deterred whatsover by Circe's sonic blasts as he leaped away from her and gave a dive kick to her head, knocking her down. The faceless EVO ducked and dodged Biowulf's slashes before avoiding Skalamander's crystals as he bounded right towards Van Kleiss.
But just before he reached the leader of the Pack, Breach sent a portal at him, which teleported outside of the Bug Jar's shield... only to be immediately teleported back inside.
"Who are you?" No-Face asked.
"Someone who is in a position to help you," Van Kleiss said with an evil smile... and No-Face was immediately intrigued.
"Follow," No-Face said as he re-entered his lair.
"Breach with me. The rest of you, remain here."
"Master," a shocked Biowulf said as Breach stepped forwards. "My place is at your side."
"I want no interruptions, Biowulf. Is that clear?" Van Kleiss said sternly as the twins hid in a tree to observe as they contacted Providence.
"Okay, folks, here's the 411. VK, No-Face, getting all buddy-buddy," Roxie said. "Rex and I are gonna try to bust it up. That's all we got for now. Over and out."
"Oh, don't you dare hang up," Bobo said as he still held onto the lever powering the Bug Jar's shield. "I'm feeling a cramp coming on."
"You're right, you know," a bored Circe said as Biowulf paced back and forth. "We should be down there with him. What's he up to anyway?"
"I... do not know," Biowulf admitted.
"You don't know? I thought he trusted you with everything."
"Of course he does. I just..."
Biowulf's sensitive ears suddenly picked up something and he immediately pounced and tackled the twins to the ground.
"Hey, easy on the stealth suits... which, apparently, aren't so stealthy," Rex said with a pained groan.
"He's a wolf, bro. Super senses?" Roxie said.
Circe then leaped from her perch and tore away the mouth covers, deactivating the suits' stealth and revealing the twins to her, Biowulf and Skalamander.
"Rex? Roxie?" Circe asked.
"Providence spies!" Skalamander shouted.
"Man! Right, got it in one!" Rex quipped as he nudged Roxie.
"Yet, we heard that VK was looking for a new second in command, Biowulf?" Roxie said with a sly smile.
"What?!" Biowulf shouted as he lifted the twins into the air as they smiled brightly, knowing their plan was working.
"She's telling the truth," Rex said. "Got it straight from intel. That No-Face is one bad dude."
"Guess Bio-whelp ain't cutting it here these days," Roxie said.
Biowulf roared savagely as he prepared his claws, only for Rex to build his Boogie Pack, that knocked him off guard as Roxie conjured her warhammer and slammed him away.
Skalamander ran forwards to Roxie, only for her to dodge his attacks and bring her hammer down on him, sending him deep into the Earth's crust.
Circe grew her probiscis and gave a massive sonic scream, only for Rex to counter that with the gusts from his Boogie Pack's turbines.
"We've seen it before," Rex said, readying the Boogie Pack's bolas. "First, they keep you out of meetings..."
Skalamander charged forwards, only for Rex to slam him back with the bolas.
"...Then, the boss chews you out for trying to do your job..." Roxie continued as she dodged Biowulf's sloppy slashes before she conjured her Smite Stick and gave him a few stabs before kicking him back into the ground.
"...And the next thing you know, you're taking orders from the new guy," Rex finished with a sly smirk.
"And you're just another generic hench like Skalamander," Roxie said.
Extremely pissed off, Biowulf and Skalamander both charged forwards, but Rex was prepared and blasted them both back into the wall with the gusts of wind from his Boogie Pack's turbines as Roxie built her hoverboard and both took off into the air.
"Now comes the moment where our brave hero sweeps the girl off her feet," Rex said.
"Don't let him!" Biowulf shouted, but it was too late as Rex flew down and picked a blushing Circe up bridal style. "Literally."
"Hey!" Circe shouted, although deep down, she was blushing heavily from this position as she looked Rex in the eyes.
"See you around, henchies!" Roxie taunted as she and Rex flew away.
"Follow them!" Biowulf ordered as he and Skalamander took off after the twins and Circe.
"Put me down! Now!" Circe ordered Rex.
"Not until we hear each other out," Roxie said.
"Sure. I'll go first."
Circe then let loose her sonic scream, breaking the twins' builds and sending the trio toppling down through the sky.
"Great! Way to go, Circe!" Rex shouted.
"Why don't the ones we care about ever think things through?!" Roxie shouted.
"Any word from Rex and Roxie?" Dr. Holiday asked Bobo, who was struggling to keep the lever down.
"They ain't back yet and I'm still holding the bag," Bobo reported.
Suddenly, the chimpanzee EVO heard a metal thudding outside.
"Hold on. Rex? Roxie? Is that you, pals?"
He was answered by a massive roar from outside as he turned and hid back, sweat pouring down his brow.
"Hiding in plain sight. I hate this place."
Meanwhile, Van Kleiss and No-Face were still having their meeting in No-Face's lair.
"Invaders have come before," No-Face stated. "They brought only pain."
"It is pain we both share," Van Kleiss insisted. "The same Providence outsiders attacked my lands. Destroyed my army."
"There was one who tormented us. Humiliated us. The growers of machines and weaponry."
"Ah, Rex, Roxie. Another thorn we share," Van Kleiss said as he turned to his new potential ally. "My proposal is simple: you control a formidable legion and I, in turn, can provide the escape and the vengeance you seek."
No-Face turned to the leader of the Pack, interested.
"I can be your liberator. You can be my general. Together, we will crush our enemies, starting with the one you hate most. Now then, are we-"
"Master!" Biowulf shouted, stepping in on the meeting. "We have a report!"
"This is a private conversation," a very annoyed Van Kleiss said. "Can't you handle the slightest detail without bothering me?"
Biowulf turned to Van Kleiss before slowly moving his head over to No-Face with a glare.
"...Of course, Master," Biowulf said before turning to leave No-Face's lair. "It was nothing."
The twins and Circe continued their freefall before Circe gracefully kicked off of a skyscraper to break her fall and slid down the side of it while Rex grabbed Roxie and tossed her in the air before he built his Boogie Pack and Roxie built up her hoverboard to break their fall as before crashing into a tree and hitting every branch on the way down.
As they recovered from the massive pain they had, the duo shakily stood to their feet as they groaned in pain as Roxie had swirls in her eyes and woozily moved around.
"Our fearless heroes continue to pursue the girl of one's dreams, heedless of her attempts to break his heart," Rex narrated.
True to their word, Rex and Roxie got hit at point blank by one of Circe's supersonic screams, sending them both crashing into a wall.
"Along with the rest of him and his sister for good measure," a dazed Roxie noted.
"Look, Circe!" Rex pleaded. "Just give us one minute to explain, okay?! We're not going to use our powers or anything! I promise!"
"...One minute," Circe conceded as she receded her probiscis. "But if this is about leaving the Pack-"
"Please," Roxie said, rolling her eyes. "We gave up on that a long time ago. We've got bigger problems here than who you choose to hang out with."
"Fifty seconds," Circe warned.
"We weren't sent here to spy on the Pack," Rex explained. "Our mission is to stop these things in the Bug Jar from ever getting out."
"Forty. Why are you telling me this? You know who I am."
"You've seen the things that live here," Roxie said. "Whatever deal you think Van Kleiss is making, it's going to turn out horrendously for everyone."
"Thirty seconds."
"We do know who you are, Circe," Rex pleaded to a glaring Circe. "For once in your life, think for yourself! Maybe your so-called perfect leader could actually be wrong! Maybe even a bit crazy! Nuts! Certifiably insane!"
"SHUT UP!" Circe shouted, blasting them with a sound wave, which they barreled through as Circe tore through the smoke and started engaging the twins in hand-to-hand. "Twenty! Talk about blinded. Did you two ever wonder why Van Kleiss is so interested in you two?"
"I don't know. Maybe because he wants us dead?!" Roxie shouted as she grabbed Circe's leg and gave her a massive uppercut to the jaw.
"Not anymore. Something has changed, Roxie. Ever since you and Rex got your powers back. I hear him talking. He says you two have something that's the key to everything. For whatever reason, he needs you two alive. I know it, guys. He'd never let either of you be killed."
"Never, huh?" a smirking Rex said to Roxie, who nodded in understanding.
"Time's up!"
The twins gave a nod as Circe gave a dive kick to them, knocking them out.
"Enough talk! Free us!" No-Face demanded Van Kleiss.
"You understand, I need certain... assurances," Van Kleiss said.
"Assurances? Explain."
"If I free you, will you trust in my leadership and mine alone?"
"Leadership must be proven. Show us you can defeat our enemies."
Van Kleiss looked down to see the rest of the Pack step in as Circe set the twins down into the water and Van Kleiss leaped down to their level as a dizzy Rex and Roxie grinned up at him.
"Now this looks like the place for a party," Roxie said goofily, still dazed from the beat down as Van Kleiss picked the duo up.
"Rex. Roxie. You two never cease to amaze me."
"Defilers!" No-Face exclaimed as Biowulf hoisted the twins upwards to him. "Give them to us!"
"Now do you believe I can deliver what I say?" Van Kleiss asked with an evil smile. "Will you agree to my leadership?"
"We agree to it! Give them to us! NOW! NOW! NOW!" No-Face shouted, shocking Circe to the core.
"Van Kleiss," Circe said, shocked. "I didn't bring the twins here so you could- They'll kill them!"
"Never forget how I found you, Circe," Van Kleiss said. "What you were before. They're all yours."
"You bring them to the vestibule!" No-Face ordered Van Kleiss.
The twins gave a knowing smirk to each other and fist-bumped discreetly.
"You have your orders," Rex taunted as he and Skalamander carried Rex and Roxie to the vestibule.
"I'm going to enjoy this," Biowulf said as he and his partner tossed the twins forwards into the murky water.
"You were supposed to finish us off," Roxie taunted. "Now, you just get to watch with the other hench-bads."
Biowulf only glowered sternly before he walked away from the scene as they looked up at all the EVOs surrounding them from the rim of the vestibule.
"Surrounded by the jeering crowd, the heroes face certain doom," Rex said as he and Roxie stood back-to-back and paced in a circle before Rex spotted Circe gazing down at them. "The heartbreaker looks on. When it's over, she'll regret shunning his advances."
"Get focused, bro," Roxie said, elbowing Rex's arm as they turned to see No-Face approach them.
"Now you two will feel my pain," No-Face taunted.
"Few ground rules," Rex said. "Nothing below the belt and I have a date on Friday, so easy on the face."
"What are the chances he's going to follow those rules, dude?" Roxie asked.
"None. But can you blame a guy for trying?"
No-Face then threw a crap ton of punches with his four arms, that Rex quickly blocked with his Smack Hands as Roxie ducked and dodged with incredible speed and a pant of effort.
"Well, that last rule won't exactly be a problem in this guy's case, having no face and all," Roxie said as she gave a windmill kick to No-Face's... head before she leaped back while Rex built up his Slam Cannon and loaded up a sphere of debris in it that he blasted forwards with Roxie accelerating its velocity with a smack of her warhammer, sending it crashing into No-Face at point-blank range.
But from out of the resulting cloud of dust, No-Face charged forwards and nailed the twins with a powerful right hook, sending them crashing into one of the pillars, eliciting a ton of cheers from the EVOs around them... except for one.
As the twins got their bearings, they quickly avoided another blast as Rex built up his Big Fat Saw and sliced forwards, which No-Face leaped over as Roxie leaped up and gave a dive kick to him, which he caught as he slammed her face into the water, causing her breath to escape and No-Face broke the blade off of Rex's saw and stabbed it into the ground... only to see that Roxie had escaped.
In the distraction, Rex burst from the water with his Blast Caster built as he whipped forwards and No-Face caught the lash and pulled him in, giving the male twin several powerful punches to the jaw, causing him to groan in absolute pain.
"No anchovies on pizza," he said, dazed and confused before he endured another punch. "No stripes with plaids."
Having enough, No-Face twirled Rex around and he slammed her into his sister with the lash several times, causing both of them extreme pain as their suits were ripped and they had endured several bruises from the relentless assault before he grabbed them both as he kicked Roxie right where the sun don't shine, causing her extreme pain as he leaped forwards and gave a powerful kick, sending them right into another pillar as their builds shattered into a billion pieces as Roxie could barely stand up from the extreme pain.
"Termine san santados, por favor..." she weakly proclaimed in Spanish before she and Rex collapsed into the water as Rex looked up to Circe.
"Is this... what you wanted?" he asked, seeing her turn away as his and Roxie's eyes started to slowly close as they drifted into unconsciousness.
"Stop this! Please!" Circe begged her master. "You need them alive!"
"Alive, yes," Van Kleiss said. "Heart pumping, lungs breathing. But their minds? The less of that there is, the better."
Circe gave a hateful glare... before she was grabbed by Van Kleiss' extending gauntlet.
"Circe, I warn you. Lift so much as a finger to help them and you're finished."
Circe glared... before seizing her arm back as the twins gave one last weak look... and then No-Face picked them up by their faces again and slammed them into the water again and again and again before letting go and roaring out in victory.
Van Kleiss gave a knowing smirk as he stepped between No-Face and the twins.
"I'll have this trash removed," he said to No-Face. "And now that you've had your fun, it's time to finalize our-"
"We will have our full revenge!" No-Face roared as he walked up to the beaten and bloody twins, lifting his arms back to deal the final blow... only for them to be caught by Van Kleiss.
"It seems we've reached something of an impasse."
"We take orders from NO ONE!" No-Face shouted as he pulled Van Kleiss in for a clothesline and then leaped up and slammed him down into the water right beside the twins.
"We're not driving a wedge between you guys, are we?" Roxie chuckled weakly.
"Well played," Van Kleiss admitted before he charged over to tackle No-Face into the water again.
"Good news for us," Roxie said. "For you, not so much."
No-Face tossed Van Kleiss away from the twins and into a clearing and Van Kleiss used his enhanced strength to lift a slab of the ground off from its foundation and tossed it overhead before leaping on top of it to crush No-Face underneath it.
"Pity we couldn't have worked something out," Van Kleiss said as Biowulf, Skalamander and Breach leaped down to join him on the slab. "Breach, if you would-"
Suddenly, No-Face recovere3d and tossed the slab of ground away, sending the Pack hurtling away and Van Kleiss, Biowulf and Skalamander recovered, but Breach hit the back of her head against the wall and was knocked unconscious.
No-Face stepped up to the Pack and his Bug Jar EVOs lined up behind him.
"Looks like the hard way, then," Van Kleiss said as he ran forwards and started engaging hand-to-hand with No-Face.
Rex and Roxie slowly got up from the ground and looked around them to see both the Pack and the Bug Jar EVOs in an all-out war with each other and they both gave a knowing nod to each other.
"Knowing their advantage, our heroes do the noble thing," Roxie said cheekily as she built her hoverboard and Rex built his Boogie Pack. "They run like cowards!"
"Adios!" Rex smirked before he and Roxie jetted out of No-Face's lair and crawled through a manhole cover and ran off, not noticing as Circe watched them leave with a smirk.
Bobo fired his blasters out with a pained grunt as several tentacles lashed out and wrapped around him, pulling him away from the lever keeping the shield sealing the Bug Jar intact.
He was just about to be peeled away, when the tentacles suddenly cried out in pain and dropped down dead. Bobo looked to see Rex and Roxie (now wearing their normal clothing) outside as they dropped the dead tentacles to the ground.
"Where the heck have you two been?!"
"You're not still holding onto that, are you?" Rex asked, causing Bobo to raise his eyebrow confusedly.
"...Because it's a good thing with the whole... you know, kaboom?" Roxie chuckled nervously as Rex pressed his comm-link.
"Doc, we're back."
"There you are," Dr. Holiday said. "Rex, Roxie, listen to us. If the shield failed, the only other solution is a cold reboot of the system. I don't even want to think about what would happen if the things in there get out."
"Keep your lab coat on," Rex said. "This'll only take a minute."
The trio then heard several metallic thuds outside.
"Or... maybe two."
The generator then let out some red lights and beeped loudly as Rex, Roxie and Bobo looked on nervously.
"Uh, Doc? You remember that thing you said last night about worst case scenarios?" Roxie asked. "Yeah, we have a winner."
To Roxie's point, the force field dome shattered and instantly fell, exposing the creatures in the Bug Jar to the world and the EVO creatures immediately started charging outwards as Rex, Roxie and Bobo got out rom the sewers and looked to see the charging Bug Jar EVOs making their way towards the border of what used to be Kiev.
"We got nothing," Roxie said. "I'm drawing a blank here, Doc!"
Little did the trio know, a certain EVO siren leaped down from the buildings behind them with a flourish and stalked towards the team, much to their disgust.
"Great," Bobo sighed. "Guess this situation's not random enough already. Let's throw some raging teen hormones into the mix."
"You, Biowulf, even me. We're all just means to an end for him," Circe said to the twins. "He doesn't really care about any of us."
"Oh, you finally figured that out," Rex scolded. "Well, better late than never, I guess."
"It's not too late. Not if I have anything to say about it."
Circe then extended her probiscis out and Bobo gained a panicked look on his face.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa whoa!" the chimpanzee EVO shouted. "There are some of us around here that might not like the sound of whatever you're about to do!"
"I'll adjust the frequency to exclude friendly EVOs."
"You can do that?" Roxie asked.
"Yeah. I can adjust the frequency of my sonic screams," Circe said, much to the twins impressment.
"Does that include me?" Bobo asked.
"For now."
Circe then let loose a massive soundwave assault that surged throughout the entire Bug Jar as the twins and Bobo shouted out in agonizing pain.
"Whoa, mama!" Bobo shouted out. "Not cool!"
"I thought you said you could filter it!" Rex shouted over the sound.
"It's not an exact science!" Circe said, continuing to scream as the soundwaves reverberated through the Bug Jar.
The EVOs who had made it outside didn't make it far as once they heard Circe's screams, they walked back in, entranced by the siren song pulling them in.
Once they made it to her and the team, they were now confronted by the swarm of EVOs marching towards them.
"It worked," Roxie said. 'You're calling them all back! ...And right towards us!"
Bobo shouted out as he fired a relentless assault of lasers from his blasters that pelted the EVOs head on as Circe finally grew too tired to continue and stopped screaming, gasping for breath as she fell to the ground.
"Torn between saving his friends and saving the world, our hero makes the... stupid choice," Rex said as he built up his Slam Cannon and started firing tons of blocks of gravel at the EVOs as Roxie built up her Fight Flail and started swinging the massive spiked ball outwards that swatted several of the EVOs into the surrounding buildings.
Bobo walked back and helped Circe up as he continued firing his blasters out.
"Come on, Bobo! Focus! Think bananas! Think how much you hate 'em!"
Suddenly, the twins spotted several more EVOs falling and flying away from the swarm as they looked out with a gasp as they spotted Biowulf slashing and clawing his way through tons of them, killing them with one strike.
"Biowulf?" Roxie asked.
"Get that thing running," Biowulf stated simply. "Don't get used to this."
The twins only nodded and went back down the manhole ladder, running to the shield's generator and Rex and Roxie mentally prepared themselves.
"Rex, Roxie, you two will need to follow this sequence exactly."
"No time for that!" Rex shouted as he and Roxie fired up their nanites and slammed their glowing blue hands against the generator from both sides.
"Shield activation in 60 seconds. 59. 58."
Circe continued screaming as the EVOs charged towards her while Bobo continued firing on them and Biowulf continued slashing them down as they got close , but then, Circe passed out and fell unconscious as Bobo tossed his blaster up and caught Roxie before catching the blaster with his foot and continued firing away at the EVOs.
"It's not gonna be much of a difference," Bobo sighed as he continued blasting away... and then suddenly ran out of ammo. He grew worried immediately... until Rex and Roxie shot out of the sewers with a shout on the Rex Ride.
"We are outta here!" Rex cheered as Bobo and Circe climbed aboard.
"You coming or what, Biowulf?" Roxie asked.
"I was never here," Biowulf said, running away from the team, shoving all the EVOs away from him as Rex rushed himself, Roxie, Bobo and Circe out of the Bug Jar before they were trapped inside.
"Fourteen. Thirteen. Twelve. Eleven. Ten. Nine. Eight. Seven. Six. Five. Four. Three. Two. One."
The team made it outside of the Bug Jar just as the shield resealed the perimeter from the outside world before any of the EVOs could escape.
Later, Circe recovered in Rex's arms as Roxie stood near them with a smile.
"Van Kleiss," Circe realized.
"Breach will get them out. Eventually," Rex assured. "But right now, he's in there, you're out here."
"You're never gonna have a better time to, you know, consider your options?" Roxie asked, teasing Circe as she noticed her and Rex were holding hands as they quickly let go, blushing heavily just as Bobo drove up in a Providence cycle.
"What is it about stealing from our own people that's so dang satisfying?" Bobo asked as he tossed Circe the keys to the cycle.
"You forgot to remove the tracker," Circe said as she reached down and removed the tracking device from the Providence vehicle. "But I'm not going to Providence, guys."
"It doesn't matter where you go," Rex said. "All that matters is that you wanna go there."
"That being said," Roxie smirked as Rex built up his Rex Ride. "I hear Hong Kong's nice this time of year."
"See you soon, Circ," Rex said as he drove off into the sunset. "And so, the tired warriors journey homeward. Crisis averted, we're all saved, villains vanquished."
"Girl not got," Roxie smirked as Circe got into the Providence cycle and drove off in the opposite direction. "Again."
"You have to rub it in?"
"I'm your sister. It's my job," Roxie smirked, jabbing Rex's shoulder.
