Chapter 1
The day Izuku manifested his quirk is one he will probably always remember. It started with him feeling bloated yet also full of energy. More so than the normal four year old anyways. It went relatively regularly until he and Kacchan were playing in the park while Mama watched, and a white windowless van screeches into the park and several masked men rush out of the van and pick up Kacchan.
Suddenly that energy had a place to go. Where Izuku did not know, only that it was out of him. Kacchan needed help. Why wasn't he helping? And then there was a portal, toxic green and swirling. And out of the portal stumbled a small blue doglike being, standing on two legs. Izuku reaches his hand out to help steady it.
As soon as his hand makes contact with the doglike being, Riolu his brain whispers. He suddenly knows that Riolu knows three "Moves", Endure, Quick Attack, and Feint. Without realizing it, he points at the Bad Men and screeches "Quick Attack".
Riolu blurs into motion at the surprised men, tackling into the one holding Kacchan and making him drop the blond haired boy. Riolu grabs the now exploding Kacchan by the shoulders and starts trying to drag him away. The Bad Men recovered quickly and started lumbering towards the child and pokemon.
And once again Izuku feels his energy leave him as a rush of emotions fills him, not knowing what else to do. This time an absolutely massive bug with a yellowish tan body and a white head marches through, the very air around its body shimmering slightly, Larvesta his mind whispers this time.
The Larvesta seems to breathe in and then spits out a scattering of small flames at the Bad Men, who scramble out of the way. Larvesta scrambles to put himself between Riolu and Kacchan and the Bad Men.
At this point Mama is calling somebody and sounding really panicked, which makes Izuku panic more. He reaches for the energy again and can't find any. So he reaches again, and again, his vision spinning as he collapses.
