Episode 380: Pokémon Stadium Cup: Final Four
Last time, the eight finalists have gathered in the stadium in Fennel Castle to have a series of Pokémon battles. Beginning the series, Chase and Trace have their clash against one another, but Volt has claimed victory with Splishy Splash. Afterwards, Wes and Michael have their battle as Wes wanted to see Michael's strength with his own eyes, and it would seem he was not disappointed. Despite Michael's efforts, Wes has claimed his victory and displayed his pride for Michael. Next, it was Roxas and Brendan as they have their battle, almost similar to when Sora and Brendan battled in the final battle of the Hoenn Pokémon League. And like Sora, Roxas has defeated Brendan with what he had retrieved from Sora. And finally, Sora and Elaine have their battle to see who would get the fourth and final slot in the finals. Even though Sora was in the lead, Elaine and Maple have mounted a comeback no one would have believed nor expected. Maple has used the moves, Baddy Bad, Glitzy Glow, Sizzle Slide, Bouncy Bubble, Buzzy Buzz, Sappy Seed, Freezy Frost, and Sparkly Swirl, each representing Eevee's eight evolutions in a single battle. Maple has overpowered some of Sora's team of powerful Pokémon, but Pikachu managed to overcome this obstacle and come out on top.
Now, it is down to four remaining Trainers in the Pokémon Stadium Cup, and they will all have to give it everything they've got since it is Chase against Wes and Sora against Roxas.
After being defeated, Brendan, Elaine, Michael, and Trace joined the rest of the group to watch along with their friends.
"Sorry that you lost, Brendan. You were awesome out there," May said.
"Don't be sorry, May. I gave it everything I had out there," Brendan said.
"And that's all that matters," Rei said.
"She's right. You four were amazing out there," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"That means a lot to us," Elaine said.
"Yeah, now we gotta cheer for all four of them," Trace said.
"And hard," Michael said.
"Yeah," the rest of the group said at once.
Up to Izzy, he looked up Chase's profile. He saw that he has most of the Pokémon in Kanto. Chase even has Pokémon of the Alola region being Golem, Marowak, Muk, Sandslash, Raticate, Persian. Izzy even looked at Elaine's profile. Like Chase, he has most of Kanto's Pokémon, along with the Alolan forms of Raichu, Ninetales, and the rest.
"So, Izzy, what's the scoop on that Chase kid?" Davis asked.
"From what I can gather, Chase and Elaine are on the same level as Sora 2, but not only for his battling skills, but for how Pokémon they caught in Kanto. And most of them have evolved with the exception of the partners," Izzy said.
"Hard to believe he's going up against the one Trainer who put an end to the first Shadow Pokémon incident in the Orre region," Sora T said.
"Yeah, I remember my mom went to Orre and looked into it five years ago," TK said.
"It was all over the news," Joe said.
"I don't remember that much about it, Joe. How about you fill us in?" Meiko suggested.
"Meowth," Little Mei said.
"If I must. Five years ago, a gang of criminals calling itself Team Snatch had gotten a hold of a Snag Machine. It's a device that can bypass the ownership of Pokémon to a Trainer, and make it their own. It went on until Wes, a former member broke into their base and stole their Snag Machine and blew up their base. At the same time, two Team Shadow thugs have kidnapped a girl who is rumored to see a black aura when no other human being can. Wes rescued the girl and she sided with him so she could inform him of which one was a Shadow Pokémon," Joe explained.
"Those poor Pokémon," Kari said.
"So, four of those Pokémon were those Shadow Pokémon, right?" Tai asked.
"Right. Wes used the Snag Machine to snag the Shadow Pokémon from Team Shadow and had them purified by a mystical stone called the Relic Stone for it is said to have the power of Celebi," Joe said.
"Celebi? As in the Time Travel Pokémon?" Ken asked.
"The same one. To speed things up, Wes also used the Time Flute to summon Celebi and purify the Shadow Pokémon, freeing them from Team Shadow's control. Once the last of the Shadow Pokémon were snagged and purified, Wes and Rui had vanished, and no one has seen or heard from them for five years," Joe concluded.
"That was because Wes and Rui were in the realm of darkness for five of those years. And from what we heard from Ash and Leaf, they said time doesn't exist in the realm of darkness, so no one grows old there," Izzy said.
"How did they even get in there to begin with?" Meiko asked.
"Well, from what Ash told us, Wes and Rui were attacked by Axel, who was Organization XIII's flunkie at the time was sent to take them out because Organization XIII was behind the Shadow Pokémon scheme, and they didn't like it when people got in their way. They were hoping the Shadow Pokémon would turn into Heartless," Cody said. Meiko gasped.
"Wait, what about the most recent Shadow Pokémon outbreak in Orre? Was Organization XIII behind that one, too?" Meiko asked.
"They were," Matt said.
"They thought they could succeed where they failed the first time, thinking there was no other interference, and thinking Wes and Rui were dead, but they didn't count in Michael being the one to put the lid on them again," Matt said.
"Not only that, but Karen, Ven, Terra, Aqua, the D-Team, their Pikachu, and the dinos were right beside him," Yolei said.
"That's amazing, but how did they get out?" Meiko asked.
"They told us they had some help," TK said.
"It was when Sora 2, Kairi, and Ethan were in the realm of darkness and kicked Xehanort's Heartless's butt," Davis said.
"So, they wore the Organization's black hoods just so Organization XIII wouldn't know they were still alive, and they were following Sora 2 and Kairi in secret," Kari said.
"That was until the Organization was beaten," Amy said.
"Even with the Organization gone, their flunkies are still out there," Tai said.
"Guys, the finals is about to continue!" Joe said.
"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, and Pokémon of all kinds, the finals of the glorious Pokémon Stadium Cup is about to continue with our final four contenders! The first battle is between Chase and Wes! We are in for a good show as the finals is about to continue on, let's give a big hand to Chase and Wes!" George Worthington III announced as the crowd cheered as Chase and Wes have each taken their seats. "There are two slots left for the final round, so which one will he earning one of the two? Well, that's what we're here to find out!" The referee stepped out to begin the battle.
"Trainers! Choose your first Pokémon and begin!" The referee called out. Chase and Wes took out their Pokéballs and threw them.
"Sandslash! Go!" Chase called out.
"Go! Typhlosion!" Wes called out.
Sandslash and Typhlosion emerged from inside.
"Chase is starting with Sandslash, a Ground-type. He's making a good start," Ash said.
"Maybe, but Typhlosion is more experienced in battle than Sandslash is," Rui said.
"She's right. types doesn't always cut it," Michael said.
"Sandslash! Start things up with a Drill Run!" Sandslash ran towards Typhlosion with a Drill Run.
"Dodge and use Flamethrower!" Wes ordered. Typhlosion dodged Sandslash's Drill Run and fired a Flamethrower.
"Dig!" Chase ordered. Sandslash digs underground to dodge. Typhlosion looked around. Sandslash came out and lands a hit onto Typhlosion. "Use Slash!" Sandslash swiped at Typhlosion.
"Use Aerial Ace!" Wes ordered. Typhlosion launched itself at Sandslash, dealing some damage.
"Drill Run!" Chase ordered. Sandslash came at Typhlosion, dealing some heavy damage. "Use Brick Break!" Sandslash swings its claw to land a chop. Sandslash successfully lands a hit.
"Typhlosion! Flame Wheel!" Wes ordered. Typhlosion curled into a ball of fire and rolls at Sandslash.
"Drill Run!" Chase ordered. Sandslash ran towards Typhlosion. They clashed against one another, so Sandslash managed to bring Typhlosion down.
"Typhlosion is unable to battle! Sandslash wins!" The referee announced.
"So much for what I said," Michael said.
"You were right on the mark, but there's always an exception to the rule," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
Wes called Typhlosion back and he took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Feraligatr! Go!" Wes called out. His Pokéball opened and Feraligatr emerged from inside. Chase called back Sandslash and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Exeggutor! Go!" Chase called out. Chase's Alolan Exeggutor emerged from inside, ready to battle.
"And it's Exeggutor's turn to battle," Trace said.
"And Wes just set himself up for a disagvantage," Brendan said.
"Not really. Feraligatr knows Ice Fang," Rui said.
"Use Dragon Hammer!" Chase ordered. Exeggutor swings its heads down at the Big Jaw Pokémon. Leaf Storm!" Exeggutor unleashed Leaf Storm at Feraligatr.
"Dodge and use Ice Fang!" Wes ordered. Feralitar avoids Exeggutor's Leaf Storm and heads for the Alolan Coconut Pokémon.
"Breaking Swipe!" Chase ordered. Exeggutor swings its tail and struck Feraligatr. "Leaf Storm!" Exeggutor unleashed Leaf Storm, hitting Feraligatr.
"Slash!" Wes ordered. Feraligatr rushed at Exeggutor with a Slash.
"Egg Bomb!" Chase ordered. Exeggutor fired Egg Bomb, hitting Feraligatr.
"Ice Fang!" Wes ordered.
"Breaking Swipe!" Chase ordered. Exeggutor swings its tail around and lands a devastating hit, resulting in a knockout.
"Feraligatr is unable to battle! Exeggutor wins!" The referee announced.
"Great job, Exeggutor!" Chase said.
"Exeggutor!" Exeegutor said.
"Now, Wes has four left to use," Naminé said.
"Yeah, but knowing Wes, he'll push back in a big way," Michael said.
Wes called back Feraligatr and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Hariyama! Go!" Wes called out. Wes's Pokéball opened and Hariyama came out to battle.
"You still good to go, Exeggutor?" Chase asked.
"Gutor," Exeggutor answered.
"Okay. Use Dragon Hammer!" Chase ordered. Exeggutor swings its down at Hariyama, intending to do some heavy damage.
"Force Palm!" Wes ordered. Hariyama holds out its hand and a burst of energy erupts from it. Exeggutor ends up being paralyzed.
"Exeggutor!" Chase exclaimed.
"Heavy Slam!" Wes ordered. Hariyama jumped up and lands right on Exeggutor, dealing the amount of damage, matching its weight. Exeggutor was knocked out.
"Exeggutor is unable to battle! Hariyama wins!" The referee announced. Wes called back Exeggutor and he took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Let's go, Aerodactyl!" Chase called out. Aerodactyl emerged from inside, ready to battle. "Okay, Heavy Slam is a Steel-type move, so it won't just be super-effective, but it'll be matching Hariyama's weight. But Aerodactyl will be flying too fast for Hariyama to land a hit. "Wing Attack!" Aerodactyl flew in to land a hit on the Arm Thrust Pokémon.
"Use Arm Thrust!" Wes ordered. Hariyama thrusts its hands at Aerodactyl. Aerodactyl lands a hit, but Hariyama lands a few hits with Arm Thrust.
"Use Hyper Beam!" Chase ordered. Aerodactyl fired Hyper Beam at Hariyama.
"Dodge it!" Wes called out. Hariyama dodged Aerodactyl's Hyper Beam. "Heavy Slam!" Hariyama jumped on up to land on the Fossil Pokémon.
"Dodge it!" Chase called out. Aerodactyl avoids Hariyama's Heavy Slam by flying upwards. "Wing Attack!" Aerodactyl struck Hariyama on the mark.
"Hariyama! Force Palm!" Wes ordered. Hariyama came at Aerodacty with Force Palm. The Arm Thrust Pokémon lands a hit, resulting in a paralysis. "Use Seismic Toss!" Hariyama grabbed Aerodactyl and does a jump and a roll. Hariyama gave Aerodactyl a toss, resulting in a knockout.
"Aerodactyl is unable to battle! Hariyama wins!" The referee announced.
"Chase had the edge with Aerodactyl, but Hariyama gave Aerodactyl beat down with Seismic Toss," Trace said.
"I'm not too surprised. Hariyama is a force to he reckoned with," Michael said.
Chase called back Aerodactyl and he looked right at Volt.
"Well, it looks like you're up, Volt," Chase said.
"Pikachu," Volt said.
"Go for it," Chase said as Volt entered the battlefield.
"Hariyama, don't underestimated that Pikachu. He's even stronger than you think," Wes said.
"Yama," Hariyama said.
"Heavy Slam!" Wes ordered. Hariyama jumped up in the air to land on Volt.
"Floaty Fall!" Chase ordered. Volt summoned balloons and float to the top to avoid Hariyama's Heavy Slam. The balloons popped and he comes falling down. Hariyama is struck by the fall. "Use Pika Papow!" Volt unleashes Pika Papow and struck Hariyama on the mark. The Arm Thrust Pokémon had been beaten.
"Hariyama is unable to battle! Pikachu wins!" The referee announced.
"Great job, Volt!" Chase said.
"Pikachu," Volt said. Wes called back Hariyama and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Meganium! Go!" Wes called out. Meganium emerged from inside.
"I figured he would use Meganium against Volt. It's a known fact Electric-type attacks won't hurt Grass-type Pokémon too much," Leaf said.
"Okay, Volt, come back," Chase said. Volt returned to Chase's side. He took out another Pokéball and threw it. "Come out, Ninetales!" His Pokéball opened and Ninetales came out to battle. "Ninetales! Flamethrower!" Ninetales fired Flamethrower at the Herb Pokémon.
"Body Press!" Wes ordered. Megaium dodges Ninetales's Flamethrower and came down at the Fox Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Tail Slap!" Chase ordered. Ninetales smacked Meganium with its tails. "Flamethrower! Full power!" Ninetales fired a full powered Flamethrower, hitting Meganium on the mark. "Shadow Ball!" Ninetales fired Shadow Ball, landing a hit. Meganium was knocked out by Ninetales's Shadow Ball.
"Meganium is unable to battle! Ninetales wins!" The referee announced.
"Great job, Ninetales," Chase said. Wes called back Meganium and he smiled.
"Your battling skills are impressive, Chase. Now, it's time for the real battle to start. The time for you to face my two partners," Wes said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Umbreon! Go!" His Pokéball opened and Umbreon came out to battle. Chase called back Ninetales and took out another Pokéball and threw it. "Kabutops! Go!" Kabutops emerged from inside, ready to battle.
"Umbreon! Dark Pulse!" Wes ordered.
"Dodge and use Ice Beam!" Chase ordered. Kabutops dodges Umbreon's Dark Pulse and fired Ice Beam at Umbreon. The beam of ice struck Umbreon on the mark.
"Feint Attack!" Wes ordered. Umbreon vanished and reappeared to land a hit. "Crunch!" Umbreon lands a Crunch onto Kabutops.
"Use Slash!" Chase ordered. Kabutops swings its sickle-like claws at the Moonlight Pokémon, but he dodged by ducking. "Hydro Pump!"
"Dark Pulse!" Wes ordered. Umbreon fired Dark Pulse, hitting Kabutops on the mark. "Feint Attack!" Umbreon lands a hit with Feint Attack. Kabutops was knocked out.
"Kabutops is unable to battle! Umbreon wins!" The referee announced.
"Excellent job as always, Umbreon," Wes said. Chase called back Kabutops and took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Sandslash! Go!" Chase called out. Sandslash came back out to battle. "Fury Swipes!" Sandslash came at Umbreon.
"Dodge it!" Wes called out. Umbreon tried to dodge, but Sandslash came too fast for the Moonlight Pokémon to dodge.
"Brick Break!" Chase ordered. Sandslash lands a Brick Break, dealing some heavy damage. "Drill Run!"
"Feint Attack!" Wes ordered.
Sandslash and Umbreon came at each other and land a hit. With the amount of power they're putting into, they knocked each other out.
"Sandslash and Umbreon are both unable to battle! This round is a draw," the referee announced. Chase and Wes called back their fallen Pokémon.
"Wes is now down to one while Chase still has two," May said.
"Yeah, but Wes isn't going to make it easy for him," Rui said.
"I agree. He still has Espeon," Rei said.
Chase and Wes took out their Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Ninetales!" Chase called out.
"Go! Espeon!" Wes called out.
Both Pokémon emerged from inside, ready to battle.
"Shadow Ball, Ninetales!" Chase ordered. Ninetales fired Shadow Ball at the Sun Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Psybeam!" Wes ordered. Espeon avoids Ninetales's Shadow Ball and fired Psybeam, hitting the Fox Pokémon. Ninetales ends up being confused.
"Use Flamethrower!" Chase ordered. Ninetales tried to use Flamethrower, but has a hard time doing so due to its confusion.
"Psychic!" Wes ordered. Espeon uses Psychic to lift up Ninetales and end up being knocked out.
"Ninetales is unable to battle! Espeon wins!" The referee announced.
"Now, both are down to one," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"So, Volt is against Espeon. This should be interesting," Terra said.
"Pikachu," Thor said.
Volt entered the battlefield.
"Be ready, Espeon," Wes said.
"Okay, Volt! Zippy Zap!" Chase ordered. Volt dashed at Espeon and landed a successful hit. Espeon has taken a lot of damage, also Wes was caught by surprise by Volt's incredible speed.
"That was incredible. Even Rui's grandfather's Pikachu isn't that fast," Wes said in his thoughts. He ordered, "Espeon! Use Psychic Fangs!"
"Use Pika Papow!" Chase ordered. Volt unleashed Pika Papow, hitting Espeon on the mark.
"Psybeam!" Wes ordered. Espeon fired Psybeam at Volt.
"Dodge it and use Quick Attack!" Chase ordered. Volt dashed at Espeon to land a hit.
"Use Psychic Fangs!" Wes ordered. Espeon ran toward Volt with Psychic Fangs. Volt was too quick for Espeon to land a hit.
"Use Thunder!" Chase ordered. Volt fired Thunder, shocking Espeon on the mark.
"Use Recover!" Wes ordered. Espeon managed to heal, though not completely. "Psybeam!"
"Pika Papow!" Chase ordered. As Espeon fired Psybeam, Volt unleashed Pika Papow and it was powerful enough to overpower Espeon's Psybeam and land some heavy damage. "Splishy Splash!" Volt summoned electrified water and drenched Espeon in it. Espeon had taken some additional damage from it and wound up being knocked out.
"Espeon is unable to battle! Pikachu wins! The winner is Chase from Pallet Town!" The referee announced. The crowd cheered as Wes helps Espeon up.
"You did your best, Espeon. You always do," Wes said. Espeon licks Wes's cheek, making him smile.
"Way to go, Volt! You were awesome!" Chase said.
"Pikachu!" Volt said.
"Yes, you were, Volt," Wes agreed as he and Espeon approached Chase. "You beat my Espeon because you have an excellent Trainer." Wes pets Volt. He looked at Chase. "You did a great job, Chase. You and your Pokémon are an excellent team."
"Thanks, Wes. I was thinking the same thing about you," Chase said.
"In the short amount of time since you and Volt became partners, your bond grew and grew. I knew when Pika Papow overpowered Espeon's Psybeam. You've earned your victory," Wes said, shaking Chase's hand.
"Aren't you upset Wes lost, Rui?" Elaine asked.
"I am, but I honestly don't care if he won or not. He's always a winner to me," Rui said.
"Such a devotion is admirable, Rui. It shows how loyal you are," Rei said.
"I'm glad you think so, Master. I'll always be there for him, no matter what," Rui said.
"Now, the next battle will be Sora and Roxas against each other," Kairi said.
"Does that have to be that way? I mean, shouldn't there be a better way to settle this?" Karen asked.
"Karen, you know it doesn't work that way," Terra said.
"Terra's right, Karen. Sora and Roxas both agreed to give it everything they've got," Leaf said.
"I know, but it doesn't mean I have to like it," Karen said.
"Pikachu," Blossom said.
"Wasn't that incredible?! Now, it is time for our next battle! Both are from Pallet Town and both are brothers! Let's give a big hand to Sora and Roxas! What we are about to see is sibling rivalry at its finest!" George Worthington III announced as Sora, Roxas, and their partners stepped out.
Music began playing as they looked at each other.

The referee stepped out to begin the match.
"Trainers! Choose your first Pokémon and begin!" The referee called out. Sora and Roxas took out their Pokéballs and threw them.
"Go! Melmetal!" Sora called out.
"Kangaskhan! Go!" Roxas called out.
Both Pokémon came out to battle against one another.
"Melmetal! Start things up with Mega Punch!" Sora ordered. Melmetal charges at Kangaskhan with a Mega Punch.
"Dizzy Punch!" Roxas ordered. Kangaskhan came at Melmetal with a Dizzy Punch. Both Pokémon land a hit on one another. "Ice Punch!"
"Use Thunder Punch!" Sora ordered. Melmetal and Kangaskhan land an elemental punch on each other, dealing some heavy damage.
"Use Mega Kick!" Roxas ordered. Kangaskhan swings her leg to land a kick.
"Flash Cannon!" Sora ordered. Melmetal fired Flash Cannon, hitting Kangaskhan.
"Look at that. Melmetal and Kangaskhan are trying to size each other up," Xion said.
"Yeah, and the battle is just getting started," Ethan said.
"Not one of them made an attempt to dodge," Lyra said.
"Marill," Marill said.
"Okay, Melmetal! Use Double Iron Bash!" Sora ordered. Melmetal swings its arms around and does a spin, coming right for Kangaskhan.
"Use Aerial Ace!" Roxas ordered. Kangaskhan dashed at Melmetal. Melmetal stopped spinning to land a hit, but Kangaskhan came too fast for Melmetal to land a hit.
"Not bad, Roxas. That was awesome!" Sora said.
"Thanks, Sora. We both agreed not to pull any punches with each other, didn't we?" Roxas reminded his adopted brother.
"I didn't forget. Let's do this," Sora said.
"Kangaskhan! Aerial Ace again!" Roxas ordered.
"Double Iron Bash!" Sora ordered. As Kangaskhan dashed at Melmetal, the Hex Nut Pokémon swings around again and stopped spinning to land a hit onto Kangaskhan. Melmetal has landed a successful hit this time. "Flash Cannon!" Melmetal fired Flash Cannon, hitting Kangaskhan on the mark. "Mega Punch!" Melmetal stretches its arms out and land a double punch onto Kangaskhan.
"Okay, Kangaskhan! Use Dizzy Punch!" Roxas ordered.
"Thunder Punch!" Sora ordered.
Both Melmetal and Kangaskhan land a hit on each other. Kangaskhan was now paralyzed from Melmetal's Thunder Punch.
"Use Aerial Ace!" Roxas ordered. Kangaskhan attempts to do so, but Kangaskhan's paralysis kicked in.
"Flash Cannon!" Sora ordered. Melmetal fired Flash Cannon, hitting Kangaskhan. She was knocked out from Melmetal's Flash Cannon.
"Kangaskhan is unable to battle! Melmetal wins!" The referee announced.
"Great job, Melmetal!" Sora said. Melmetal beamed. Roxas called back Kangaskhan and he smiled.
"You did your best, Kangaskhan. Rest up," Roxas said. He looked at Melmetal. "Okay, let's turn up the heat. Charizard! Go!" Charizard came out to battle.
"With Charizard out, Melmetal is at a disadvantage," Trace said.
"Yeah, but I think Sora would either wing it out or he'll make a switch," Kairi said. Sora called back Melmetal, just to play it safe. He took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"You're up, Salamence!" Sora called out. Salamence emerged from inside, ready to battle. "Okay, Salamence! Use Dragon Pulse!" Salamence fired Dragon Pulse at Charizard.
"Dodge and use Breaking Swipe!" Roxas ordered. Charizard dodges Salamence's Dragon Pulse and lands a hit with Breaking Swipe. "Use Slash!"
"Dragon Claw!" Sora ordered. Charizard and Salamence slashed at each other.
"Flamethrower!" Sora and Roxas ordered.
Both Charizard and Salamence fired Flamethrower and both were evenly matched. They held on, trying to overpower the other. This kept going until an explosion occurred and they both received damage.
"Salamence! Fly!" Sora ordered. Salamence flew straight up into the air.
"Be ready for him, Charizard. As soon as he comes down, get ready to give him a Seismic Toss," Roxas said. Charizard nodded. Salamence started to come flying down, but Charizard grabbed Salamence. "Great! Seismic Toss!" Charizard flew around and around. He then gave the Dragon Pokémon a hurl straight down, dealing some heavy damage. Salamence wasn't going to stay down that easily.
"Not bad, Roxas. Salamence! Dragon Pulse!" Sora ordered.
"Flamethrower!" Roxas ordered.
Charizard and Salamence fired Flamethrower and Dragon Pulse at once another and an explosion occurred between them both. They end up earning some heavy damage from the explosion. They panted until Charizard fell down, exhasuted.
"Charizard is unable to battle! Salamence wins!" The referee announced. Sora saw how tired Salamence is from the intense battling.
"Salamence isn't looking so hot. I better make a switch just to play it safe," Sora said. He called back Salamence as Roxas called back Charizard. Roxas took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Blastoise! You're up!" Roxas called out. Blastoise emerged from inside. Sora took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Absol! Go!" Sora called out. Absol came out, ready to battle. "Use Dark Pulse!" Absol fired Dark Pulse right at the Shellfish Pokémon.
"Use Rapid Spin!" Blastoise spins around and cuts through Abol's Dark Pulse and land a hit. "Now, use Hydro Pump!" Blastoise fired Hydro Pump at the Disaster Pokémon.
"Dodge and use Night Slash!" Sora ordered. Absol came at Blastoise and slashed at him.
"Use Skull Bash!" Roxas ordered. Blastoise lowered his head and rammed into Absol, dealing some heavy damage and resulted in a knockout.
"Absol is unable to battle! Blastoise wins!" The referee announced. Sora called back Absol.
"Great job, Absol," Sora said. He took a look at Pikachu. "Alright, Pikachu. Go!"
"Pika," Pikachu said, stepping in the battlefield.
"You still good to go, Blastoise?" Roxas asked.
"Blast!" Blastoise said.
"Thought so! Use Hydro Pump!" Roxas ordered. Blastoise fired Hydro Pump at Pikachu.
"Dodge and use Thunder Bolt!" Sora ordered. Pikachu jumped and fired a Thunderbolt, shocking Blastoise. Blastoise felt some heavy damage from Pikachu's Thunderbolt. "Use Electro Ball!" Pikachu forms a ball of electricity and hurls it at Blastoise, hitting Blastoise on the mark, resulting in a knockout.
"Blastoise is unable to battle! Pikachu wins!" The referee announced. Roxas called back Blastoise. He looked at Xipak.
"Okay, Xipak. It's your turn," Roxas said.
"Pikachu," Xipak said, entering the battlefield.
"Quick Attack!" Roxas ordered. Xipak dashed at Pikachu, dealing some damge. "Quick Attack again!"
"Pikachu! Use Quick Attack, too!" Sora ordered.
Both Pikachu dashed at each other and land a hit onto each other.
"Thunderbolt!" Sora and Roxas ordered. Pikachu and Xipak fired Thunderbolt as they fired Thunderbolt at each other. The sparks were literally flying in this battle. "Iron Tail!" Pikachu and Xipak came at each other and they clashed their tails against each other like they were swords.
"Use Electro Ball!" Sora ordered.
"Electro Web!" Roxas ordered.
Pikachu fired Electro Ball as Xipak hurls an Electro Web. Both Pikachu avoids each other's attacks as they stare at each other.
"Okay, Pikachu, come on back for now," Sora said.
"You too, Xipak. Don't overdo it," Roxas said.
Pikachu and Xipak are coming back to each other after they battled each other. Sora and Roxas took out their Pokéballs and threw them.
"Flygon! Go!" Sora called out.
"Rhydon! You're up!" Roxas called out.
Flygon and Rhydon both came out at once, ready to battle each other.
"Flygon! Use Dragon Breath!" Sora ordered. Flygon fired Dragon Breath at Rhydon.
"Use Horn Drill!" Roxas ordered. Rhydon started to run toward Flygon with its horn spinning like a top. Knowing what Horn Drill can do, he thought very fast.
"Fly up!" Sora called out. Flygon flew out of the way in time. "That was close. Okay, Flygon! Dragon Rush!" Flygon flew right at Rhydon to land a hit. Flygon lands a successful hit. "Earthquake!" Flygon slammed his feet against the ground, making the ground shake. Rhydon was struck hard by the shaking battlefield. "Dragon Claw!" Flygon slashed his claws against Rhydon.
"Meteor Beam!" Roxas ordered. Rhydon began to build up some cosmic energy to fire at the Mysytic Pokémon.
"Use Dragon Rush!" Sora ordered. Flygon flew right at Rhydon with a Dragon Rush. Rhydon fired Meteor Beam and sends it right at Flygon, but the Mystic Pokémon swerves to avoid the beam and rammed into Rhydon, resulting in a knockout.
"Rhydon is unable to battle! Flygon wins!" The referee announced. Roxas called back Rhydon and he took out another Pokéball and threw it.
"Venusaur! Go!" Roxas called out. Venusaur emerged from inside, ready to battle.
"Okay, Flygon! Dragon Breath!" Sora ordered. Flygon fired Dragon Breath at the Seed Pokemon.
"Dodge with Trailblaze!" Roxas ordered. Venusaur charges with Trailblze. Venusaur then plowed into Flygon like a football player. Flygon was no one's football.
"Dragon Rush!" Sora ordered.
"Trailblaze again!' Roxas ordered.
Both Pokémon rushed at each other and they collide with each other. Venusaur overpowered Flygon and knocked him out.
"Flygon is unable to battle! Venusaur wins!" The referee announced. Sora called back Flygon.
"Nice one, Roxas," Sora said.
"Likewise, Sora," Roxas said.
Sora took out another Pokéball and he threw it.
"You're going in now, Aggron!" Sora called out. Aggron emerged from inside, ready to battle.
"Okay, Venusaur! Use Trailblaze!" Roxas ordered. Venusaur charges at Aggron with another Trailblaze.
"Dodge and use Metal Claw!" Sora ordered. Aggron dodged Venusaur's Trailblaze and came at Venusaur with a Metal Claw.
"Vine Whip!" Roxas ordered. Venusaur smacked Aggron with Vine Whip before he could slash at Venusaur. "Leaf Storm!" Venusaur fired Leaf Storm, entrapping Aggron in it.
"Plow your way out with an Iron Head!" Sora ordered. Aggron ran his way out with Iron Head and heads right for Venusaur. He lands a hit on the Seed Pokémon. "Awesome! Now, Head Smash!" Aggron heads right for Venusaur again and lands a Head Smash onto Venusaur.
"Hey, doesn't Head Smash cause recoil damage?" Ventus asked.
"Pika?" Sparky asked.
"That's true, but Aggron's ability must be Rock Head. Normally, Rock Head causes recoil damage by half of the current stamina, but Pokémon with Rock Head are immune to recoil damage," Riku said.
"Eevee," Eevee said.
"Flash Cannon!" Sora ordered.
"Venusaur! Vine Whip!" Roxas ordered. Venusaur smacked Aggron with another Vine Whip, making Aggron fired Flash Cannon elsewhere. Thankfully, there were barriers over at the spectators to protect them. "Solar Beam!" Venusaur began to build up solar energy.
"Okay, Aggron! Flash Cannon again!" Sora ordered Aggron fired Flash Cannon at Venusaur.
"Fire!" Roxas shouted.
Both Flash Cannon and Solar Beam collide with each other, but Venusaur's Solar Beam cuts through Aggron's Flash Cannon and struck the Iron Armor Pokémon, resulting in a knockout.
"Aggron is unable to battle! Venusaur wins!" The referee announced. Sora called back Aggron.
"You gave it your best shot, Aggron. You tired out Venusaur like I wanted you to," Sora said. Venusaur was panting heavily from all the energy he used in firing Solar Beam. Sora took out his next Pokéball and threw it. "Melmetal! Back to action!" Melmetal came back out to battle.
"Okay, Venusaur! Use Leaf Storm!" Roxas ordered. Venusaur unleashed Leaf Storm and sends it right at Melmetal.
"Double Iron Bash!" Sora ordered. Melmetal sways its arms around and spins around like a top, heading for Venusaur. Leaf Storm hits the Hex Nut Pokémon, but due to its resistance to Grass-type attacks, Melmetal comes through Venusaur's Leaf Storm and lands a hit. "Use Mega Punch!" Melmetal lands a Mega Punch, resulting in a knockout.
"Venusaur is unable to battle! Melmetal wins!" The referee announced.
"Way to go!" Sora said.
Roxas called back Venusaur.
"Okay, one left to use. It's up to you, Xipak," Roxas said.
"Pikachu," Xipak said, stepping back in.
"Melmetal might be bigger than you, but Melmetal isn't nearly as fast as you are. Quick Attack!" Roxas ordered. Xipak ran around with a Quick Attack.
"Use Thunder Punch!" Sora ordered. Melmetal tried to land a Thunder Punch on Xipak, but Xipak was moving too fast for Melmetal to land a hit.
"Use Electro Web!" Roxas ordered. Xipak forms an electrical ball and sends it right at Melmetal. It opens up into an electrical net, trapping Melmetal in it.
"Melmetal!" Sora exclaimed.
"Thunderbolt!" Roxas ordered. Xipak fired Thunderbolt, shocking Melmetal. Xipak's Electro Web doubled the damage. Melmetal fell backwards, beaten.
"Melmetal is unable to battle! Pikachu wins!" The referee announced. Sora called back Melmetal and turned to his partner.
"Okay, Pikachu. You're back in," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said, entering the battlefield again.
"Okay, Quick Attack!" Sora and Roxas ordered. Pikachu and Xipak charged at each other and they land a hit to each other. "Iron Tail!" Pikachu and Xipak clashed their Iron Tails at each other like swords once again. Both Pikachu were evenly matched. "Thunderbolt!" Pikachu and Xipak fired Thunderbolt at each other and they each land a hit on each other.
"Electro Web!" Roxas ordered. Xipak unleashed Electro Web right at Pikachu.
"Dodge and use Electro Ball!" Sora ordered. Pikachu dodged Xipak's Electro Web and unleashed Electro Ball, landing a hit.
"Use Thunderbolt!" Roxas ordered.
"You do the same!" Sora ordered.
Both Pikachu fired Thunderbolt at each other. Pikachu and Xipak pushes each other. Pikachu put in some extra electrical power and hits Xipak.
"Xipak!" Roxas gasped.
"Use Quick Attack!" Sora ordered.
"You use Quick Attack, too!" Roxas ordered.
Pikachu and Xipak land a hit on each other and they put so much effort in their attacks.
"Thunderbolt!" Sora and Roxas ordered.
Pikachu and Xipak gave each other a heavy Thunderbolt. Once they stopped, Pikachu and Xipak stared at each other, panting in exhaustion. They stared at each other until Xipak fell backwards, beaten.
"Roxas's Pikachu is unable to battle! Sora's Pikachu wins! The winner is Sora!" The referee announced.
"Sora won," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Roxas lost," Xion sadly said.
"Eevee," Celeste sadly said.
"Hey, Roxas did his best," Kairi said.
"She's right. Roxas knew the stakes and took them," Naminé said.
"I'm just glad it's over," Karen said.
"Chu," Blossom said.
Karen was very proud of the both of them.
"Now the second finalist has been decided! We will have the deciding battle to come! We will have a fifteen minute recess for our Trainers to heal their Pokémon and we can begin the final match!" George Worthington III announced.
Now that Sora had defeated Roxas, the final battle of the Pokémon Stadium Cup is about to begin and which one will make win it? Will it be Sora or will it be Chase? Stick around if you want to find out.
