Episode 406: Faced with Steelix Determination

We open up with Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel are walking down a path to Floaroma Town where Kairi's second Contest is being held. Along the way, Sora has come across a Skorupi, eating a pear.

"A Skorupi," Sora said, taking out his Rotom Phone and scanned it.

Skorupi, the Scorpion Pokémon

Type: Bug/Poison

It grips its prey with its tail claws and it tenaciously holds on to the prey until the poison has taken its toll.

"Another Bug-type, so I think I'll catch this one, too," Sora said.

"He does look peaceful eating that pear, Sora. Maybe you should wait until he's done eating," Kairi said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed.

"Vee," Angel added.

"Yeah, maybe you're right," Sora said. He waited for Skorupi to finish eating. The Scorpion Pokémon threw what's left of the pear in a different direction as Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. "Shieldon! Go!" Sora's Pokéball opened and Shieldon emerged from inside.

"Good thinking, Sora. Skourpi's Poison-type moves won't have any affect on Shieldon since he's a Steel-type," Kairi said.

"Yeah, but I figured I'd give Shieldon a chance to battle," Sora said. Skorupi fired Poison Sting at Shieldon, but it does nothing to him. Skorupi then ran toward Shieldon with a Night Slash ready to hit. "Protect!" Shieldon uses Protect to block Skorupi's Night Slash. "Use Tackle!" Shieldon tackled into Skorupi, but the Scorpion Pokémon pushes Shieldon off and his claws glow red as he rubs them together. An orange flash goes up.

"Sora, Skorupi just used Hone Claws! It rasies a Pokémon's attack and accuracy!" Kairi said.

"Thanks for the tip!" Sora said. Skorupi charges at the Shield Pokémon as he came at Shieldon with a Night Slash. "Protect!" Shieldon uses Protect to block Skorpi's Night Slash. Once the barrier was down, Skorupi uses another Night Slash to hit Shieldon. Skorupi then ran toward Shieldon with another Night Slash. "Use Take Down!" Shieldon charges at Skorupi and lands a hit. Shieldon has taken some recoil damage from the charge and Skorupi was down. Sora took out a Pokéball and threw it. Skorupi flowed inside and the Pokéball wobbles around and around. Stars swirls around the Pokéball to confirm the catch. Sora's Pokémon Box goes off asking him if he wants to keep Skorupi with him. He chose to send Skorupi to Professor Oak's lab.

"Hey, that was awesome," a girl's voice said. They turned to see a dark-skinned teenage girl, with long black hair. She wore a green shirt, blue jeans, and pink shoes with white socks. With her is a is a small, cherry-like Pokémon with a round, deep-pink body with two stubby feet. It has beady eyes and a purple-red stripe running down part of its face. It has a short stem with two big, green leaves and a second, much smaller head growing out of it. "You're an amazing Pokémon Trainer."

"Thanks," Sora said.

"Oh, what a little cutie, you got," Kairi said, taking out her Rotom Phone and scanned it.

Cherubi, the Cherry Pokémon

Type: Grass

Sunlight colors it red. When the small ball is drained of nutrients, it shrivels to herald evolution.

"I take it that this is your first time seeing a Cherubi, isn't it?" The girl asked.

"Yeah. Your Cherubi is so very cute," Kairi said.

"Thank you," the girl said. She sets her attention onto Sora. "The way you battled and caught that Skorupi has impressed me. So, I wanna challenge you to a Pokémon battle."

"Sure thing. How do you want to do it?" Sora asked.

"Let's make it a double battle. What do you say?" The girl asked.

"Sure thing," Sora said.

"Great. And the Pokémon I'm choosing are going to be, Roselia and Leafeon!" The girl called out. Her Pokéballs opened and her two Pokémon emerged from inside. Sora took two Pokéballs of his own and threw them.

"Okay, Chimchar and Staravia! Go!" Sora called out. Both Pokéballs opened and out came Chimchar and Staravia. "You can make the first move."

"Roselia! Use Stun Spore on Chimchar! Leafeon! Leaf Blade on Staravia!" The girl ordered.

"Chimchar! Use Dig to dodge it! Staravia! Aerial Ace on Roselia!" Sora ordered. Chimchar digs underground as Staravia avoids Leafon's Leaf Blade and lands an Aerial Ace onto Roselia, dealing some heavy damage, but Staravia ends up being poisoned after making contact with Roselia. Chimchar came out and lands a punch onto Roselia. Staravia is hurt by his poisoning. "What's wrong, Staravia?"

"Your Staravia just triggered my Roselia's Poison Point. When a Pokémon makes physical contact with Roselia, there's a chance that very Pokémon ends up being poisoned," the girl said.

"Man, that's gotta be toxic. No pun intended," Sora said.

"No pun taken. And here's more. Leafeon! Sunny Day!" The girl ordered. Leafeon brings in a strong sunlight. "Roselia, it your turn! Solar Beam!" Roselia fired Solar Beam and sends it right at Staravia and Chimchar.

"Chimchar, on Staravia's back!" Sora called out. Chimchar got on Staravia's back. "Start flying!" Staravia flew and narrowly avoids Roselia's Solar Beam. "Okay, Chimchar! Use Flamethrower and aim it at Roselia!" Chimchar fired Flamethrower, but it came out even stronger due to Sunny Day. Roselia is hit by Chimchar's Flamethrower and brought down with one hit.

"Right, I totally forgot! Sunny Day may bring out Solar Beam without charging, but it also boosts up Fire-type attacks!" The girl said.

"Great job, Chimchar!" Sora said.

"Chimchar," Chimchar said. Sora's opponent calls back her Roselia.

"Get some rest, Roselia," the girl said, putting her Pokéball away. "Okay, Leafeon! Use Solar Blade!" Leafeon came at its opponents with a Solar Blade.

"Staravia! Acrobatics!" Sora ordered. Staravia flew up and lands a strong kick with Acrobatics, dealing some heavy damage on the Verdant Pokémon. "Chimchar! Flame Wheel!" Chimchar does a Flame Wheel and rolled right into Leafeon, dealing some heavy damage.

"Leafeon! Solar Blade again!" The girl ordered.

"Aerial Ace!" Sora ordered. Staravia dashed at Leafeon, dealing some heavy damage, resulting in a knockout. "Great job, you guys."

"Chimchar," Chimchar said.

"Staravia," Staravia said.

"I hope it taught you something, Shieldon," Sora said.

"Shield," Shieldon said, feeling inspired.

"Okay, Staravia, let's get rid of that poisoning," Sora said, giving the Starling Pokémon some antidote, curing Staravia of his poisoning.

"That was an amazing battle. You're even better than I thought. Good luck to you," the girl said.

"Thanks, and you too," Sora said, shaking the girl's hand.

Meanwhile, three men with shovels are digging all over the forest, but only one of them knows the reason for the digging.

"You know, Frank, it would be easier to look what we're looking for if you just told us what it is what we're looking for exactly," one of the men said.

"That's quite a tongue twister, but Carl's right. All you told us is a box, so what is this box we're looking for," the other man said.

"I keep telling you it's just a box. And that is all you need to know. Besides, it's not like you guys don't have skeletons in the closet yourselves," Frank said.

"Maybe so, but why is it so important if it's just a box? I mean, what is in it to begin with?" Carl asked.

"What you guys need to know is what I tell you guys," Frank said.

"Yeah, but was it your idea to dig more holes than a Diglett? I mean, when I look at these holes, all I can think about is a piece of cheese," the other man said.

"Don't mention cheese, Harry. You're making me hungry," Carl said.

"Stop your complaining, you lazy whiners! Would it help if I told you that's buried treasure?" Frank asked.

"Maybe. I mean, it's gotta be heavy if you're asking for our help," Harry said.

"Yeah, and I couldn't remember where I buried it, but I remember it being in this exact area. Keep digging," Frank said. They pushed their shovels in and they won't budge. "I think we've hit something."

"What gave you that idea?" Carl sarcastically asked.

"Well, whatever it is, it doesn't wanna let our shovels go," Harry said, trying to pull it out.

"I'll say it doesn't! It's stuck good," Harry said.

Frank, Carl, and Harry strained, trying to pull out the shovels until they heard something.

"You guys hear that?" Carl asked.

"I heard it, but what is it?" Harry asked.

Just then, the earth erupted from under the three men, making them fly out and land on their sides. The dust cleared to reveal a Steelix with the shovels in its head.

"It's a Steelix," Frank said.

"Yeah, and look at that. Our shovels are stuck in Steelix's head," Harry said.

"Well, at least we know it's not where Steelix was laying," Frank said. Steelix growled in anger, making the three men flinch with terror. "And we know Steelix has a bad headache!"

"And we didn't bring any aspirins," Carl said.

"And it's gonna blame us!" Harry added.

"Run for it!" Frank shouted. Not needing to be told twice, Frank, Carl, and Harry started to run for their lives as Steelix chases after them.

Meanwhile, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel were walking down to Floaroma Town when they suddenly hear a crying sound. They found the source of the crying. They saw a Bidoof and she was hurt.

"Sora, look. It's a Bidoof, and she's hurt," Kairi said. Pikachu and Angel went up to the crying Plump Mouse Pokémon to calm her down.

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

"Here, here's some super potion," Sora said, taking out a super potion. Bidoof flinched when she saw the super potion, thinking it was a weapon. "Don't be scared. It's only super potion."

"He's only trying to help you." - Pikachu subtitle.

"Really?" - Bidoof subtitle.

"Yes. There's nothing to be scared of." - Angel subtitle.

"It'll sting at first, but it'll make you feel better," Sora said. He sprayed the super potion at Bidoof. The Plump Mouse Pokémon felt a stinging sensation at first, but her pain started to disappear.

"Bidoof, Bidoof," Bidoof said.

"There. Isn't that better? Now, to put this bandaid on and we're all done," Sora said, placing a bandaid on Bidoof's forehead. Bidoof smiled at that. "It was a good thing Joe had some extra bandaids with him."

"Comes in handy when you come from a family of doctors," Kairi said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

"But don't Bidoof usually live somewhere there's water, like a pond?" Kairi pointed out.

"Well, I haven't seen any ponds for a while, I mean, not since you caught Tux," Sora said. Tux is a nickname she decided to give her Piplup.

"Maybe we can check it out on the map app," Kairi said, taking out her Rotom Phone and looked it up. "And here we are. There's a waterfall somewhere in the forest."

"Sounds like the perfect place for Bidoof to live," Sora said. He turned to Bidoof. "If you come with us, we can bring you home to your friends."

"Bidoof, Bidoof, Bidoof," Bidoof said. Three sets of screams are heard behind the couple. They turned to see the three men running as fast as their feet can carry them. They stopped in front of the couple.

"Where's the fire?" Sora asked.

"No fire, but it's big, and it's angry!" Carl said.

"What's big and angry?" Sora asked when they heard a roar behind the mean. "I had to ask." Steelix down the same way as the men. "HOLY SCHNIKES! A STEELIX!"

"Why does he look so angry?" Kairi asked. Angel saw the shovels on the Iron Snake Pokémon's head.

"Eevee!" Angel said. Sora, Kairi, and Pikachu saw the shovels.

"So, that's it. Steelix has those shovels in his head. Did you do that?" Sora asked.

"It was an accident," Frank said.

"An accident we could have avoided if you just told me and Harry what was in that box we're looking for," Carl said.

"I told you, Carl, the contents of that box is nobody's business than my own! So, when I tell you to drop it, then you drop it!" Frank argued. Steelix roared again.

"Can we argue about this later?" Harry asked.

"Run!" Sora and Kairi shouted as they ran.

"Mankey see, Mankey do!" Frank, Carl, and Harry shouted as they ran. Steelix continued to chase after them. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, and Bidoof saw there was a fork in the road.

"A fork in the road!" Sora said.

"But which way do we go?" Kairi asked.

"Bidoof, Bidoof!" Bidoof said, pointing to the left.

"I think Bidoof is saying we go left!" Kairi said.

"Then, let's go left!" Sora said. Frank, Carl, and Harry kept running for their lives as Steelix fired a Hyper Beam, sending Carl flying to the left as Frank and Harry went to the right.

"Man, that was traumatic," Harry said.

"Yeah, but at least that Steelix is gone," Frank said.

"Yeah, but it went after those kids, and they didn't even do anything," Harry said.

"You're not saying we go after that Steelix after we tried getting away from it, are you?" Frank asked.

"Well, it is technically our fault, and I wouldn't feel right about those kids taking the blame for something we did," Harry said.

"You're right. We should go and find those kids before something happens to them. What's your opinion, Carl?" Frank asked, but he sees Carl is nowhere to be seen. "Hey, where did Carl go?"

"He was just with us a while ago," Harry said.

"He must have ran with those kids before that Steelix fired that Hyper Beam," Frank said.

"We better find them and fast," Harry said.

"I agree. Let's go," Frank said.

With that said, Frank and Harry went off to help Sora, Kairi, Carl, Pikachu, and Angel before it was too late.

Up ahead, Sora, Kairi, Carl, and the Pokémon kept on running as Steelix still gave chase. They made it to a stone wall.

"That Steelix isn't even tired from chasing after us!" Sora said.

"Pika!" Pikachu said. Sora then noticed the waterfall on the other side of the stone wall.

"Kairi, I think that's the waterfall!" Sora said. Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel saw the waterfall.

"Is that where your friends are, Bidoof?" Kairi asked.

"Bidoof, Bidoof!" Bidoof said.

"Sounds like a yes to me!" Sora said.

"That's good, but I don't see any way to get in!" Carl said.

"Bidoof, Bidoof, Bidoof!" Bidoof said, pointing an opening on the wall.

"That opening is our way in!" Sora said.

"Then we have to get in there quickly!" Kairi said.

"Not needing to be told twice, they headed for the opening, so Steelix couldn't chase after them any further, so it tried to bang its way inside, which is working out for them.

"Look at that. The rock around here must be too hard even for Steelix to break through," Sora said.

"Yeah, but I don't know how long it'll hold, because that Steelix will eventually break through and come after us again," Carl said.

"I hope it'll hold for long," Kairi said. She then turned around and saw leafy dwellings. "Look!" Sora, Carl, Pikachu, and Angel turned to look and they saw the leafy dwellings. "It looks like a Bidoof village."

"It looks like a village. And they look like little houses," Sora said.

"Bidoof, Bidoof, Bidoof, Bidoof, Bidoof, Bidoof!" Bidoof called out.

Not to long, more Bidoof stuck their heads out and they went over to their lost comrade.

"They look happy to see their friend, but why didn't any of them come looking for her in the first place?" Sora asked.

"Bidoof, Bidoof, Bidoof, Bidoof," the big Bidoof said.

"I think I might have an idea. It's because of Steelix, isn't it?" Kairi asked. The Bidoof all nodded. "They couldn't go and look for her because they were too scared of him."

"I guess that makes sense. With those shovels in Steelix's head, it's hard not to blame it," Carl said. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel climbed up and they saw Steelix still trying to break through. They saw how the wall was weakening with each hit.

"How's it looking from up there, kids?" Carl called from below.

"Not so good! The wall isn't going to last much longer if that Steelix keeps going at it!" Sora said.

"Carl! Carl, where are you?" Harry called out. Frank and Harry saw the Iron Snake Pokémon and flinched.

"Shovel-head again!" Frank exclaimed.

"You two! Run for the opening! Hurry!" Sora called out.

"What happening?!" Frank exclaimed.

"I think he means that one!" Harry said, pointing to the opening.

"Hurry up!" Sora called out. Not needing to be convinced a second time, Frank and Harry ran in the opening before Steelix fired another Hyper Beam.

"That was close," Frank said.

"Yeah, I thought we were done for if that Hyper Beam hits us," Harry said. They saw the Bidoof looking at them. "Hey, look at these little fuzzballs."

"Those fuzzballs are Bidoof," Frank said.

"Yeah, and this is their home," Carl said. Frank and Harry saw Carl that he was okay. "Glad you could make it. Too bad the timing was off."

"Glad you're alive, Carl," Frank said.

"Yeah, no thanks to you, Frank!" Carl accused.

"Hey, Harry and I came here looking for you, so you should at least show some gratitude, you miserable ingrate!" Frank argued.

"Well, I'm sure that makes up for the fact that you dragged us along to find some box that you buried in this forest when you were a kid, and you wouldn't tell us what was in it, and have us digging in a random place all because you can't remember where you buried it! The way I see it, it's all your fault that Steelix is out to kill us for having those shovels in its cranium!" Carl exclaimed.

"My fault?!" Frank snapped back.

"Yeah, your fault!" Carl snapped.

"I'm with Carl on this, Frank! I mean, what is it you're trying to hide?! What was so important that you had to get the two of us to break out backs over and for that Steelix to give us hell over?!" Harry yelled.

"I am going to tell you one more time! It's none of your business! I don't want you to know what's in it! I don't want to tell you! What is it going to take to accept that fact?!" Frank exclaimed.

"We're gonna keep egging you on until you tell us, Frank!" Harry said.

"So, tell us!" Carl said.

"No!" Frank said.

"Tell us!" Harry said.

"No!" Frank repeated.

"Tell us!" Carl and Harry said.

"I'm not telling you, so drop it!" Frank said.

"We're not dropping it until you tell us!" Carl said. The crashing from outside grew louder and louder.

"You three may want to hold that argument for later, because that Steelix is still trying to break through!" Sora said.

"Yeah, trying to get to the three of us," Frank said.

"If that big lugnut breaks through, it'll put shovels in our heads!" Harry said.

"It's not gonna happen! We gotta block up that hole!" Sora said.

"Bidoof, Bidoof, Bidoof!" The leading Bidoof ordered. The Bidoof ran off to get to work.

"Sora, I think we can have our Piplup use Bubble Beam on Steelix as a way to buy some time," Kairi suggested.

"Good thinking, Kairi. Steelix is a Ground-type Pokémon, so Water-type attacks like Bubble Beam should work. The rest of us will do the heavy lifting," Sora said. Sora took out Piplup's Pokéball as Kairi took out Tux's and let them both out. Stars swirls around Tux upon entry. "Piplup, I'm going to need you to do what Kairi tells you, okay?"

"Piplup!" Piplup said.

"Piplup," Tux said.

Kairi and the two Piplup went to the top of the wall and had Steelix in their sights.

"Piplup, Tux! Double Bubble Beam!" Kairi ordered. Piplup and Tux fired Bubble Beam, hitting Steelix on the mark.

Bidoof gnawed on some rocks and trees and used them as materials to build the barrier to keep Steelix out. Sora, Frank, Carl, Harry, Pikachu, and Angel helped the Bidoof make a barrier.

Back to the top, the Piplup kept firing Bubble Beam until they were both too exhausted to keep going. They were panting heavily.

"You ran out of steam from all that Bubble Beam. You should both rest," Kairi said, calling both Piplup back inside. With one more smash, Steelix broke through the wall, and then fired Hyper Beam at the wooden barrier. By that time, Kairi came down and returned her boyfriend's Piplup to him. "Steelix broke through the outside wall!"

"Then, all that's holding him back is sticks and stones!" Sora said.

"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.

"Eevee!" Angel said.

With one mighty slam, the logs began to crack, knowing it wasn't going to be long now. Kairi then remembered the shovels in Steelix's heads and then gets an idea.

"Sora, I have an idea," Kairi said.

"I'm open, Kairi. What do you have in mind?" Sora asked.

"I was thinking we could get those shovels out of Steelix's head. Once the shovels are gone, maybe he'll finally calm down," Kairi said.

"That could work. But we just gotta get Steelix somewhere we can safely get the shovels out," Sora said.

"Maybe we could have Steelix fall in the gully, and then remove the shovels from above," Kairi said.

"Sounds like a plan to me, Kairi. And I like it!" Sora said.

"Sounds like you kids are going to need bait, so it might as well be Frank here," Carl said.

"Wait, what?!" Frank gasped.

"I'm with him! He's the cause of all this, so it's only fair that he acts as the bait!" Harry said.

"Hey, I didn't sign up for this!" Frank said.

"You should have thought of that before you decided to drag us with you!" Harry said.

"So, accept the consequences like a man!" Carl said.

Steelix managed to break on through, scaring the Bidoof, making them run for their lives. The Iron Snake Pokémon glared at the three men, making the run.

"Okay, guys, when we get close to the edge, we make a turn to the left and the right, and Steelix will fall in when it chooses which way to turn!" Frank said. They get close to the edge and then they scatter with Frank and Carl going to the left and Harry going to the right. Steelix makes an attempt to make a turn, but the Iron Snake Pokémon started to fall in the gully. The fall rendered Steelix unconscious.

"Steelix is out cold, just like you planned," Sora said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"Let's get those shovels out of Steelix's head while we still can," Kairi said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

With that said, Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel went down to retrieve the shovels from Steelix while he was out cold, so Frank, Carl, and Harry got out as fast as they could, knowing Steelix will chase after them once he is awake.

Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel were half way to the shovel when a Chingling came by from the outside, much to their dismay.

"Oh, no. A Chingling," Sora whispered. Chingling then started to ring, waking up Steelix, much to their dismay. Steelix shook the Bell Pokémon off, sending it flying in the air. Steelix fired another Hyper Beam, hitting some of the Bidoof's homes, and knocking over the trees.

"This isn't good! If this keeps up, then the Bidoof won't have a home anymore!" Kairi said.

"Then, we'll have to go with a back up plan!" Sora said, taking out a Poéball and threw it. "Staravia! Go!" Staravia came out from inside. "Aerial Ace on the shovels!" Staravia lands an Aerial Ace on one of the shovels.

"That's one!" Kairi said.

"Great! Now for the other two!" Sora said. Staravia turned around to use Aerial Ace on the second shovel, but the Iron Snake Pokémon smacked the Starling Pokémon with his tail, knocking Staravia out. Sora quickly called back Staravia when he saw Staravia is in Steelix's path. "Pikachu! Use Iron Tail on the other two shovels!" Pikachu ran up to the shovels and uses Iron Tail on the second one. "One shovel left!" The Bidoof were all awestruck by how brave Pikachu is. Steelix was heading for the opposite wall, much to everyone's dismay.

"Eevee!" Angel gasped.

"Watch out, Pikachu!" Kairi called out. Pikachu jumped off as Steelix rammed into it. Steelix was getting even more out of control. Sora, Kairi, and Angel ran before they could get crushed by Steelix's tail.

"We can't get close to Steelix. Maybe if we summon our Keyblades, we can get it off," Sora said.

"But we might miss and hurt Steelix more than he already is," Kairi said.

"You're right. Bad idea," Sora said. Sora didn't know what to do. He knew he had to get the shovel out without hurting Steelix. He could just jump high to get to Steelix, but Steelix was too out of control for that. The first Bidoof gets an idea.

"We gotta get the shovel out of Steelix's head!" - Bidoof 1 subtitle. The leading Bidoof looked at her like she was crazy.

"You cannot be serious! Steelix will crush us like ripe fruit if we get close!" - Bidoof leader subtitle.

"Those humans and those Pokémon were willing to help us protect our homes, but we won't call this place home anymore unless we get that shovel out from Steelix's head now!" - Bidoof subtitle. The Bidoof leader looked at the devastation Steelix has caused. He knew it wasn't Steelix's fault, so he knew he had to make the decision to save their home.

"You're right! We can't just stand here and so nothing! This is our home and we have to protect it! Everyone! Jump on Steelix's head and get that shovel out of his head!" - Bidoof leader subtitle. With that said, the Bidoof jumped in the gully and to Steelix's head.

"What are they doing?!" Sora exclaimed. The Bidoof landed on Steelix's head and began to pull as hard as they can. "I get it! They're trying to pull it out!"

"They must have realized they have to stand up for themselves," Kairi said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

The Bidoof kept on pulling and pulling and they saw the Iron Snake Pokémon was heading for the waterfall.

"Oh no! Steelix is heading for the waterfall!" Kairi gasped.

"Yeah, and Steelix isn't even thinking straight! I gotta slow Steelix down one more time!" Sora said, taking out a Pokéball and threw it. "Turtwig! Come out!" His Pokéball opened and Turtwig came out. "Use Razor Leaf on Steelix!" Turtwig fired Razor Leaf on Steelix.

"The humans are buying us more time! Keep pulling no matter what!" - Bidoof subtitle. And the Bidoof went back to pulling the shovel. Turtwig was getting tired from firing Razor Leaf, but Steelix fired another Hyper Beam, making the Tiny Leaf Pokémon run.

"That was close for Turtwig," Sora said.

Steelix was dangerously getting close to the waterfall, so the Bidoof kept on pulling and pulling on the shovel. Angel overed her eyes, not wanting to look.

"Give it everything you've got!" - Bidoof leader subtitle. The Bidoof kept on pulling and pulling until the shovel was out at last. No longer feeling the pain, Steelix stopped before he got in the water.

"They did it! They got the shovel out!" Sora said.

"They did it together!" Kairi said.

The Bidoof then gave the shovel a toss. Steelix then makes it way back up and leaves the Bidoof in peace, grateful for the shovel's removal.

"It might have been an accident, but I'm just glad it's all over," Sora said.

"Me too. What do you think those guys were even talking about earlier?" Kairi asked.

"Who knows? I think it's best we leave at that," Sora said.

'You're right, Sora. Some questions are best left unanswered," Kairi said.

Pika," Pikachu said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

An unintended action may have resulted in a rampaging Steelix, but the Bidoof managed to work together by putting their timidness aside and build up the courage that was deep inside of them all along; and that is what truly saved the Bidoof village. But what is this box those men was talking about earlier?

We have a look underground and inside this box, we see that it's some sort of journal. Apparently, that would explain so much. It had to be that important if he didn't want anyone to see it. And we'll leave at that.
