Chapter 14 Crouching Tiger
Optimus and Rhinox, both in their animal forms, walked through the thick woods, the sun was starting to set. While they did walk for miles, they still had much more ground to cover as they could see the mountain horizon.
"Rhinox, how many more clicks do we have to go?" Optimus asked. Rhinox, using his internal schematics, calculated an answer.
"We are looking at thirty if we rush, we will make it just in time," Rhinox said.
"Let's hope our new comrade is adjusting to this planet, hopeful he hasn't run into one of the locals yet," Optimus hoped, beginning to pick up his pace. Rhinox followed behind, stopping over anything that stood in his path.
"I'm worried if one of those heroes discovers us I don't want a war with the population, they all don't appear to be like Izuku!" Rhinox pointed out.
"Kindness is a virtue that sometimes must be earned Rhinox, we just have to look on the bright side and get to explore this beautiful world, I doubt any human found that pod, the maximal within is given the best a transformation to match their surrounding, I'm sure no one noticed,"
Kota ran for his life, going through the harsh forest floor until he reached a path that led to his house in the mountain and the base where the Wild Wild Pussy Cats worked.
"Aunt Shinos! Aunt Shinos!" Kota yelled.
Kota's aunt, also known as Mandalay, is a young woman with brown eyes and red hair styled into three bangs going across her face. Mandalay wears a red version of the Pussycat's hero costume, which is a maid dress as part of her costume, she draws red markings beneath her eyes, which resemble cat whiskers. She looked at Kota, kneeled to the child, and grabbed her hands fearfully.
"Kota, what's wrong?" She asked.
"Monster! There's a metal monster in the woods!" The young boy yelled, terrified out of his mind.
"What a metal monster!" She asked. Kota hugged her leg, shaking in fear. Shinos was confused and tried to comfort Kota with a hug.
"There was a metal monster that came from outer space!" Kota said in panic. Soon, more people rushed out of the building. One of them was Tomoko, a young woman of medium height with long, emerald green hair and big, round yellow eyes that were almost always open all the way, with three small eyelashes located toward the top of each eye. In her costume, she draws pink marks on her cheeks that resemble whiskers and a pink circle around her right eye. She wore the same hero uniform, and only following her was a bright yellow. This was a ragdoll hero who had an amazing location quirk.
The next was another young woman with blue eyes and long blonde hair that was mostly combed back save for her bangs. Wearing a light blue version of the Pussycat's hero costume. She draws two blue dots on her cheeks whenever she wears them. Pipixebob is a hero who controls the earth.
The final person is a tall, muscular man with short brown hair and a small, triangle-shaped beard. He has blank white eyes with black markings surrounding them. This was Tiger, a bawler of flexible status.
"What's wrong, Kota?" Pipixebob asked.
"There's a giant monster in the woods, and it came from space!" Kota said hysterically. Shinos let out a tired sigh. She hadn't heard anything last night or seen anything. Maybe it was just Kota's active imagination, but he would always be so quiet, maybe it was a child's overreacted imagination.
"A monster from space!" Tiger said in shock. Mandalay looked to Ragdoll, and who knew what to do. From the high vantage point, They didn't see anything strange, even if Kota's hiding spot was deep in the woods. They would have been warned with the security. It was early morning, and Kota looked like he hadn't been sleeping.
"Uh, Well, I guess I'll investigate. Come on, Pipixebob. Maybe you might find a boyfriend," Ragdoll teased. Pipixebob was furious at the joke.
"What's that supposed to mean!" She yelled out.
"NO," Kota screamed. Mandalay felt Kota grip the edge of her skirt as a young man with watery eyes didn't want them to go.
"It's big and scary. It's a monster we have to hide!" Koga begged. Mandalay was about to try and comfort her nephew. Only for the emergency radio to go off. Tiger spun around and ran inside. Picking up the hand radio, listening to the private emergency broadcast.
He ran out in panic.
"There's a landslide on the north side of the mountain!" Tiger cried. Mandalay looked torn; she glanced back at Kota. Knowing that a person is possibly endangered and the road needed to be cleared. This took her priority. She didn't even hear any loud noises. Maybe it was just Kota's imagination.
"Kota, we have to go, just in the house, and will come back. Do you understand me?" She said, getting up.
"What, no! There's a monster out in the woods," Kota yelled. Mandalay began to run toward one of their emergency all-terrain vehicles, and all hopped on. Kota was about to yell for his aunt.
"Please don't go! There is an actual monster!"
"Kota will be back, just in the house it was probably just your imagination; just stay at the house and lock the doors," Mandalay said. Without a second thought, they drove off onto a dirt road. Leaving Kota all alone.
"But I did see a monster…" Kota said as he was left all alone again. Afraid and not understanding what was happening. He ran into the hero office building and slammed the door. Unknown to him, a figure slowly approached out of the forest. A wild, majestic, white tiger curiously glanced at the building. Slowly walking to it.
Optimus and Rinox walked through thick woods, finding it to be relaxing. Still, they were on a mission and kept their guard up.
It was then Optimus' internal scanner picked up another object approaching them. He could hear the sound alarm of a loud buzzing.
"Get down! We have Predacons approaching from behind,"
Rhinox and Optimus hid within a deep, lush Green Grove that covered their bodies from above. Rhinox watched as Waspainator and Terrorsaur flew to their set coordinates. Optimus then heard the sound of footsteps echoing through the woods. This only made the two sink further back into the vegetation, making sure they were out of sight.
Megatron, who was currently in his purple Tyrannosaurus rex form, walked like he was on a mission to ruin someone's life. His red eyes stopped for a moment and picked up the heavy smell of something. Turned to face the spot where Rhinox and Optimus were hiding. He stared at the area but quickly left for the escape pod.
"I hope that pod isn't damaged if Megatron gets there first, he could corrupt that new Protoform," Rhinox whispers.
"Then let's beat Megatron to the punch!" Optimus said.
Kota sat in the living room, away from the windows, he didn't want to be close to them in case something broke in. He covered himself with a blanket and stared at the door.
"Okay, stay calm, there's no alien monster. I'm sure my imagination just got the best of me. Yeah, I bet that's what happened," Kota said, trying to calm himself down. His shaking soon stopped when he heard the sound of footsteps outside the thin walls.
"I don't need any hero, so just whatever is out there better leave me alone," Kota said. The sound of the steps came to a halt. The child felt the back of his neck hair stand up. He gulped as he stood not sure what to do.
He waited for anything to happen.
.
.
.
.
.
"Excuse me, I believe I'm a little lost. I heard you were in there," A surprisingly gentle voice called out. Kota took a step closer to the windows, not seeing anybody.
"Who are you?" Kota asked out loud.
"I don't know, I'm lost could you help me," The mysterious voice asked. Kota walked to the door which led outside.
"I'm not supposed to talk to strangers," Kota said.
"Oh… I understand then I shall wait outside… you have a very beautiful home,"
Kota looked out the door window, not seeing anybody. "I don't see where you are?"
The young boy quickly saw an animal face pop out from around his site. Standing right in front of the window was a giant white tiger. Its majestic white fur and calm appearance gave it a calm and powerful look.
Kota stood in fear as an Apex-killing machine was looking right at him. The tiger's ears twitched slightly.
"Hello, could you help me? I don't know anything. I'm lost," The Tiger said. Kota paused and did the only next sensible thing.
"AAAAAAAAAAA!" He let out a scream. So loud that the bird in the distance heard it and flew away.
Rhinox and Optimus both stopped when they heard a scream from the distance. The two Maximals looked at each other, thinking that someone was endangered.
"We have to check out, I don't want us to split up, we could get picked off by the Predacons that way," Optimus said. Rhinox had a serious glare in his animal eyes.
"Do you want to risk one of our comrades? To save a human, are you sure?" Rhinox said.
"We must protect all life from harm, I don't know, but we don't risk the lives of humans," Optimus hopped on Rhinox and pointed out to where the scream erupted.
"Let's roll out."
Megatron walked along a rock edge. He could see the Maximal pod up ahead. The Protoform that would be turned into a loyal Predacon made Megatron excited.
Terrorsaur and Waspinator had just pulled the pod from the rocky wall. Laying it down for their lord. Megatron transformed into his robot mode and showed his wicked grin. The feeling of victory outnumbering their Maximals was right around the corner.
It was a simple transfer of a new identification code, with some special obedience commands made by a certain mad spider scientist. This was the answer to a new soldier.
The pod was open to reveal… nothing. It was empty, and there wasn't any spark.
"What happened here?" Metatron asked in an angered voice.
"Lord Megatron, it looks like the self-eject was activated," Terrorsaur said, trying to ease the wrathful Megatron.
"But-zzz looks the pod has suffer-zzz, major damage," Waspinator said. Megatron tapped his chin and began to ponder about his situation. "So we have a damaged Protel for walking around Hmzz I wonder what form it took,"
"Hmm, perhaps if we find this broken photo form, we will be able to convince them." Megatron then looked out into the forest, noticing a small building. It looked to be a small station.
"Yesss~ perhaps we could ask any of the locals if they saw something," Megatron said, thinking of the poor soul that was down there.
"Don't you mean a new subject for Tarantulas lab table? The idea of us having the power of quirks sounds invigorating~," Terrorsaur moans at the idea of obtaining more power.
"In do time but right now, I believe I saw some Maximal scum on the way here, didn't I? Let's not be rude, shall we exterminate them now?" Megatron said innocently committing acts of villainy was just the norm. Transforming back into his T-Rex form, they began the march towards the Wild Wild Pussycat headquarters
Kota layed on the floor in the office room. His teeth chattered together in fear. He knew it wasn't some dude but a talking tiger. That was impossible, still, he had to make a stand. He wouldn't be pushed around.
Running out the door with an umbrella in his hand. Trying to fend off this intruder.
"Get out of here, no people are allowed, do you understand me, stranger danger! Go back to where you came from," Kota said, crazily waving around his weapon. The white tiger stared at Kota with a blank face.
"I'm sorry, but I don't remember where I came from," He honestly said. Kota paused, looking at the tiger in surprise.
"I mean, I don't even remember much. What is this place? Who am I?" Kota lowered his umbrella and still glared at the Tiger.
"What do you remember?" Kota asked. A hint of sadness pinged over his face. The feeling of being lost and not knowing where to go.
"My name, but only a part of it, it's Tron, but I don't know the rest."
"Well, you have a quirk that allows you to turn into a tiger. So you must know where you're from?" In a swift motion, Kota put down the umbrella but still had his glare.
"What is a tiger?" He asked. Kota had a face of confusion.
"That's what you are. A tiger is an animal. Come on, stop playing with me, I don't like people with quirks, so go away," Kota yelled. The Tiger looked at the ground but paused.
"Hmm, I'm a tiger, but I know my name is Tron. That shall be my new name now, Tigertron. Thank you for your help, young man, but would tigers do?" He asked. Kota felt frustrated and didn't believe this innocent act at all.
"Whatever, I know what you probably are! You're one of those dumb heroes who got hurt and acted like a complete idiot, and I hate heroes, so leave!"
The new named Tigertron looked at the boy and glanced at him. He calmly sat down on the ground and glanced at the boy.
"You think I'm a hero?" He asked. Kota raised an eyebrow.
"What do you think?" Kota asked Sarcastically. "You're Properly the hero that my aunt was supposed to interview about entering the group."
"So you think I'm a hero, how can you be sure?" He asked. Kota gripped his fists and turned away. Lowering his head and walking back to the office.
"Because you have the same stupid look as those heroes and my parents. So just get away from me, okay," Kota said, slamming the door. Leaving, Tigertron looked surprised at the boy. He was about to leave when he noticed the baby bird in the nest started to chirp and cry. It was then a bluejay arrived and comforted her young.
Tigertron looked back at the house and quietly laid by the house. "If I am a hero, then I should act like one,"
Tigertron left a sense of pride in the action he was doing, so it must have meant that he enjoyed this.
Kota looked out the window, and seeing that Tigertron was still there, he gasped and began to head for the back door the last thing he wanted to deal with was some weirdo.
Kota ran as fast as he could, he needed evidence. Unknown to him, he took the path that would lead to the most dangerous individual on this planet.
Tigertron waited and watched as the nature around him. Even if he was lost in this world with no memory, the nature around him allowed feelings of freedom. The peaceful sound of nature filled his ears.
Snap!
Until then, the snap of a twig caught his attention. Tigertron stood on all fours and glanced into the woods, Tigertron listened to the sounds and heard two sets of footsteps.
"Show yourself, I hear you."
Slowly walking out of the bushes was a large ape riding a large brown rhino. The two slowly approached him. The Ape got off the rhino's back
"Apologies, I see you made it from the crash. That's good. Greetings, my name is Optimus Primal maximal commander, and this is Rhinox chief engine."
"Charmed to meet ya," Rhinox said, bowing his head.
"I'm glad to see one of our is safe and out of Megatron's way," Optimus said. Tigertron couldn't feel any hostile feelings from them, but that didn't mean they were innocent.
"My name is Tigertron, and what do you mean? Your kind? I am a tiger." Proudly saying it. Optimus was a bit confused.
"No, you're not a tiger, are you alright," Optimus used his internal scanners to see if any damage was done to their allies "Oh no."
"What is it?" Rhinox asked. Optimus let out a heavy sigh. He wouldn't go and secretly say what was wrong. Maybe this information could help Tigertron. A little jump start after what is the one who cost the suffering launching all of those Proto form pods out into the atmosphere to try and keep them safe. Now, here was the action of his consequence.
"I'm so sorry," Optimus said.
"Optimus, his memory chips are all fried. It might even self-reboot when he crash-landed here," Rhinox said, finally understanding.
"Look, Tigertron, your memory chip was damaged during your pod collision. Do you remember your pod?" Optimus asked. Tigertron looked at them but remembered the silver pod. Suddenly, a series of flashes and memories appeared in his mind. He paused at the visions, resting while the journey across the stars.
"Yes, I do, and I wasn't in this form. What am I?" Tigertron asked. Optimus immediately transformed and showed off his robot mode. Rhinox did the same and glanced at the white Tiger, who was confused.
"How did you do that?" He asked.
"Tigertron, we're here to help you, and we need to take you back to the ship I will be able to have your memory chip function again, so please come with us," Optimus asked.
"Wait, I can't leave here. I'm a hero, and that Kota creature looks to be hurt," Tigertron said, trying to piece together who he was. Even if they all had the answers, it didn't feel right to leave that child alone.
"Wait, who's Kota?" The sudden realization had hit Optimus like a truck at the intersection. "You've made contact with humans. We have to leave right now. You could risk this person's life. Look, there are three other Predacons here. Your memory trip might be damaged, but you know deep down inside they're not right. With all due respect, we are leaving this area now."
"I'm not leaving this beautiful place. I feel safe here!" Tigertron said.
"We didn't have time for this, we have to leave now, or else Megatron-
Optimus wasn't able to finish his sentence, the terrifying roar of a Tyrannosaurus rex echoed from afar. Then came the faint nose of a small boy's scream. Tigertron looked at the bird's nest and realized the northern bird was on guard. Tigertron felt what he had to do and ran off into the woods.
"KOTA!" He roared. Optimus and Rhinox gave chase.
"Wait, stop!" Optimus got in front of Tigertron's path. "You're not ready for combat, and a human life in danger will go, you stay here."
"But I'm a hero, that's what Kota said!" Tigertron yelled back. Optimus, with a stern glance, shot a heated glare.
Tigertron backpedaled, seeing the stern face warning him not to go any further.
"Stay here. There's a fine line between being a hero and a memory."
Tigertron paused and stood there, lost at the words. He watched as Optimus and Rhinox ran off to help Kota. Rhinox glanced behind his shoulder, seeing Tigertron with a worried expression.
"Is it wise for him to stay behind?" He asked.
"Yes, people are in danger, not to mention his memory chips are damaged. Does he know how to fight isn't even a question, we shouldn't be even testing." Optimus knew if he was of the top priority. Human life could not be wasted again on his watch. If Megatron were to do that again by the all spark, he would snuff out the life of Megatron.
"Let's go and proceed with caution!" Optimus told his First Lieutenant.
"I got a bad feeling we outgunned, and if Megatron is still juiced up on dark Enegron, we might have to just try to rescue that human," Rhinox said, thinking of a strategy. "Simple hit and run."
"Now you're making me regret not bringing Tigertron," Optimus joked. "Besides, I could see that his memory chip is starting to recover, but I don't know how long it's gonna take."
"Hey, you said not me," Rhinox said.
On the north cliff side of the valley, the mountains started to begin, and where Kota practiced his water techniques. It was the worst scenario the boy could've ever been in.
Megatron was incredibly frustrated. Today was a total loss. He had lost his one chance at gaining a new subordinate and outnumbering the maximal. Every time, victory was so close to his hands. It would be swiped away. At least he would have one small victory. He was in his robot form Dangling in his T-Rex head that was attached to his right hand was Kota, so carefully held by the teeth that it could easily rip him apart.
"Hello, my name is Megatron. Have you seen anything out of the ordinary, perhaps some strange and particularly colorful animals?" He asked, yet Kota was too scared to speak.
"Come on now, boy, I'm not scary. I'm just asking questions. Now speak," Megatron growled in anger. waspinator flew by his lord and studied the boy.
"Lord Megatron, what if we take the boy to Tarantulas? He's always looking for more test subjects. We could bring the boy back to the ship." Flying back to give Megatron some space, the leader of the Predacons pondered.
"You wouldn't have a powerful quirk on you, would you, boy? If so, we would love to study it." Megatron said with malicious greed. Kota, who was still shaking in his boots. The fear had overtaken him seeing Megatron's glaring red eyes. The same eyes that stared at him from last night. However, this creature was more fiendish. Kota would only see something like these in his nightmares.
"Answer him, boy!" Terrorsaur yelled, landing in his robot mode. Kota only shrank in terror. These were the type of people he hated. Even if they weren't human, they were still with that same evil that would take anything that they wanted. The same evil that took his parents.
"Leave me alone, you horrible things!" Kota shouted.
Kota felt his breath leave his body as Megatron tightened his hold on the boy. Making the teeth that held him push deeper into his skin, threatening to puncture his body.
"I hate defying humans like you. You're so weak that you try to demand things from the strong! Whatever, we don't need you alive; besides, a body is still a body!" Megatron said as he let out a laugh that echoed throughout the valley. Kota felt tears of fear run down his cheeks.
He couldn't help but let out a loud cry, hoping someone would hear me, maybe a person could just reach out and pull him away. Megatron, with an annoyed face, flicked his worst, giving Kota a serious case of whiplash. Making him stop crying but still whimper as his life was in the hands of the ruthless giant.
"Please face your death with a little dignity, this is certainly an unbecoming young man, so die with silence, boy!" Megatron slowly began to tighten his Trex Head around Kota as he wanted to enjoy this. Kota felt a snap in his right arm.
Kota realized with the recognition of extreme pain that his right arm was broken. He let out a scream as Megatron continued to slowly kill Kota.
"All I just wanted to do was hide away from the world, I'm scared I want my mom and dad!" Kota cried in his mind. There was a scene of despair that flowed through his heart. For once, he wished to be saved by a hero. Terrorsaur and Waspinator looked away from the site this was a little brutal for them.
"Someone help me!" He cried desperately. Megatron smiled and was going to continue to mock the boy. The
"Drop him now, Megatron!" A commanding voice boomed and made Kota turn his head behind his shoulder, seeking two more giant robots. Megatron wasn't surprised at all.
"Aw, Optimus, did I hurt your feelings? I'm sorry, these humans are so squishy one step, and they just go splat on the ground," Megatron said with sadistic sarcasm. Optimus held up his wrist, blasters and shoulder cannons were pointed at the flyers. Rhinox had his Gatling gun ready. He could see the itchy trigger fingers of Terrorsaur and Waspinator. Optimus optics widened in horror, seeing that a human was injured.
"You've gone too far, Megatron! The people of this planet are not yours to harm. If you cause any more harm to that child, I will unleash upon you tenfold worse, let him go now!" Optimus yelled, after the docking incident, he had a greater burden on his shoulders to protect all the living things on this planet. That wasn't just a personal feeling; it was the primary code of the maximals.
"I have the hostage, Optimus, you are giving empty threats. You care too much about life. Drop the weapons, and I might consider letting this runt go." The deal was set; the question was who was going to pull the trigger.
"Optimus can't just let this go. They have to be stopped, and Megatron can not be trusted," Rhinox angrily stared at Megatron. "These humans are not a part of this, leave them be!"
"That's where you're mistaken, when three of those disgusting filthy organics boarded my ship and blew up my space bridge, the rules of life on this planet had already been written, all is fair in war!" Megatron sneered. Optimus was about to pull the trigger when any unlikely figure climbed up the top of the other side of the natural land. A white Tiger carefully approached the Predacons from behind. He gave Optimus a nod as he waited for his signal.
Optimus glanced at Rhinox and nodded at his leader. Megatron continues to hold Kota, dangling the boy's life in front of them. He was afraid, but he looked at the two robots with hope.
"Please help me." Crying in a desperate whisper.
"Rhinox, follow my lead," Optimus ordered. Rhinox nodded and waited for the right steps to happen.
"Will lower our weapons, and then you'll let the boy go." Optimus offered. Megatron scratches his chin and thinks carefully.
"You're not very good at negotiating, are you? Let me offer my deal. Drops the weapon, tell me about your new comrade and where he is, and then I kill you both. Since you, Maximals, are so noble, I'm sure you would gladly give your life for one measly child." flashing his Cheshire grin. Megatron smiled victoriously. Terrorsaur and Waspinator thought this was it, they had the leader right in the palm of their hands and would be able to turn the tide of the Beast Wars. Kota thought, what's the stupid deal, who would just sacrifice their life so willingly to somebody they didn't even know?
Kota was going to protest when, all of a sudden, Optimus retracted all of his weapons. At the same time, Rhinox tossed him to the ground near his feet.
"Why?" Kota asked. Optimus looked at him with a brave smile and winked at him.
"You have a deal Megatron now fulfill your part," Optimus said.
"Not yet, tell me about the new Maximal, who is and what form has he taken?" Megatron asked. Tigertron was right behind him, but then he regained the sudden feeling. Seeing Kota's endangerment made him want to step up more; he had to become more than just a tiger, more than just a hero. He needed to be a Maximal. Even if he did not remember much, this was still worth a try.
"His name is Tigertron. He took the form of a white tiger. It's hard to miss him, but the most important thing to know is that he's a hero."
Megatron laughed at them. "Anything else I should know about this hero tiger,"
Optimus smirked as he stood up and raised his hands. "Yes, there's one more thing you should know."
Megatron felt his victory was clear at hand as he was just going to kill the boy and destroy Optimus here and now. "Go on, spit it out, what else is there about this new Maximal scum."
"He's standing right behind you."
Megatron spun around to see Tigertron glaring at him. In a swift action, Tigertron shouted from his spark.
"Tigertron Maximize!" Tigertron quickly transformed as the tiger began to turn into a machine. He pulled out a blaster from his hip and shot a red energy blast that shot him in the chest and slammed him into the ground, the grip he had on Kota was gone as the child was thrown into the air. He closed his eyes, expecting the worst.
He screamed, but before he could hit the rock floor, he was caught by two gentle hands. Kota glanced up to see the familiar face that scared him last night. However, instead of the looming terrifying shadow, we figure. He saw the gentle white titan that held him.
"Kota, are you okay?" He asked. Kota felt tears of relief starting to leak from his face. He wiped his hands and gratefully looked at his savior. "T-T-T Tigertron!"
Kota cried, feeling safe, Tigertron worriedly looked at the boy. "Kota, are you okay or hurt?"
"I'm sorry Bwah! abahahaa. I'm sorry for telling you to leave! Bwah! Ahahahaa!" Kota cried his heart out as he desperately gripped the hand that saved him. Tigertron smiled but kept his weapon pointed at Terrorsaur and Waspinator.
"Not an inch," Tigertron said
"This is unfortunate!" Terrorsaur said, but internally, you would use this to get one over Megatron.
Optimus pointed his weapons at Megatron, While Rhinox was able to pick up his weapons. The Predacons were outmaneuvered, and now they were the ones held at gunpoint.
"It's over Megatron! Now surrender, or we will be forced to take you down permanently," Optimus said. Megatron is lying on the floor, grinding his steel teeth. Here was suffering another defeat. No more would he be made the fool. His eyes began to glow dark purple as he slowly stood up.
"Don't move or will fire!" Optimus said, but Megatron ignored it and stood up. Optimus shot a blast at Megatron's face, but it did nothing as the dark energon flowed to his veins, giving him greater power. The smoke of the blast slowly faded, revealing the furious face of Megatron. He raised his energy cannon and fired it.
Optimus ducked from the laser, nearly grazing his head. The purple energy shot a mountain in the distance instead, causing a humongous explosion that ruined the mountain. Leaving nothing but dust.
"Megatron!" Optimus yelled as he flew right into him, using his rocket flying systems to push Megatron deeper into the rock wall behind her. Megatron's feet refuse to yield an inch. Megatron and Optimus were caught in a gridlock match. Optimus was on the losing side as Megatron was slowly overpowering hm. Terrorsaur raised his rifle at Megatron, wanting to take advantage of the situation, but was stopped when Tigertron fired a shot at his back, making Terrorsaur fly into the woods down below.
Waspinator was about to reach for his weapon, but an unknown hand had a strong grip on his shoulder. Made him stop, slowly turning around and seeing Rhinox, the same one who just put holes in him last week.
"Please have mercy on Waspinator," He begged. Rhinox had a thinking look and let out a sigh.
"Alright, I will only throw you down halfway across the Valley," Rhinox said. The Predacon let out a depressing sigh.
"Why does everybody hate Waspinator."
Rhinox responded as he grabbed Waspinator by the shoulder and hurled him over his shoulder, tossing him down into the ground to a very far distance until the sound of a loud crash was heard far away. "Two down, one to go."
Megatron and Optimus, we're still trying to overpower each other.
"I'll stop you, Megatron, no matter what you do. I'll defend this planet with every ounce of my spark!" Optimus said.
"Let's see you live up to those words!" Megatron was able to wrestle out his hand, the same one that had his fusion cannon. He pointed it at Tigertron and Kota. Yet before the shot could be fried, Optimus grabbed the arm that was pointed at the two and shoved the weapon mouth upward. The purple laser sliced into the valley wall, and the earth began to shake.
Rhinox looked up in horror as the top layer of the valley earth was coming down upon them fast.
"LANDSLIDE!" Rhinox yelled out. Optimus looked up at the falling debris, giving Megatron the perfect opportunity as he headbutted Optimus and freed himself, running away. He would fight another day, but he would make sure the others didn't. Terrorsaur got up, and his back burns shot into the sky. Rhinox and Optimus bolted to the other end of the path, but Tigertron was caught off, and his only way out was a steep hill down. He narrowed his eyes and held Kota close to his body.
"Kota, hold on tight!" Tigertron yelled. Kota did as he was told, Tigertron ran down the hill, leaping on the step slide his metal feet ran fast and steady. He ran as fast he could, but the roaring noise of rock was coming closer. Kota looked behind, seeing the landslide slowly approaching.
They weren't going to make it. Kota held on tighter with his one working arm.
"Kota plan, but I need you to trust me, do you trust me!" Tigertron asked. Kota glanced at the Maximal, who risked his own life to save him. For a long time, he didn't understand heroes or why they sacrificed themselves. However, today, he might have found a reason why: it's to protect people from monsters.
"Yes! I DO!" Kota shouted. Tigertron, without hesitation, tossed Kota in the air and quickly transformed into his tiger mode. Kota screamed but was swiftly caught before he could hit the ground by the scruff of his shirt Tigertron's jaws as now he was able to outrun the wave of earth behind him and into the woods, the tall trees slowly stopped the rocks. While Tigertron slowly stopped and set Kota down, seeing that they were in the clear. Looking at the nature around them.
"Kota, look! We made it, thank goodness. I was worried there for a moment," Tigertron turned around to see the young man starting to walk away with a limp.
"Kota, where are you going?" Tigertron asked. Kota didn't turn around as he calmly kept walking away.
"You saved the person. You're a hero, you can just go, that's what heroes do," Kota said. He was tired and just wanted to be left alone, he kept walking until he tripped over a rock. He was going to the ground until Tigertron stopped his fall.
Hosting him back to his feet. Tigertron gently looked down at Kota. Making Kota not feel alone.
"You've thankfully told me a lot about heroes, but I'm going to say this hero shouldn't leave anyone who needs help," Tigertron said. "Come now, let's get you home and help."
Kota glanced at the giant white tiger that only showed compassion to him. He stopped and went back to the picture in his mind of two white blankets in the morgue. That was sad, but for once, he didn't think about it, all he could think about was the hero who was there. Tears started to form as he wiped them away.
"Kota, are you coming?" Tigertron asked.
"Yeah, I am." Kota followed along. The two began to walk back, but the sound of steps snapped their attention towards Optimus and Rhinox, who were approaching him.
"Tigertron, I'm glad you're safe we need to go, we saw a vehicle a few minutes approaching the area we need to leave now," Optimus said. Tigertron didn't move an inch.
"No."
"What?"
Kota glanced at Tigertron, seeing he was closer to him and keeping him guarded.
"I appreciate knowing that I am maximal. However, I can not leave this uninjured child alone. It wouldn't be right. He needs to be protected," Tigertron argued.
"Tigertron, I understand and shall respect your humble nature, but we cannot be seen by any more humans. We risk endangering this entire planet by bringing our war into their world. Human lines have been lost before I will not tolerate it again," Optimus said, he took a deep sigh and glanced at Kota, who hid behind Tigertron.
"Megatron was here for you. I don't think you'll be back for Kota. You need to come back to the ship." It was the logical and safest option.
"I understand, but what if I leave and you are wrong,"
Rhinox glanced back at Optimus with an agreeing look.
"He's got a point, Kota has seen a lot. And you know how sadist Megatron is," Rhinox said. "Besides, we could always use a Scout out here."
Optimus was in a tight situation. He could hear the sound of aircraft slowly approaching them. Tigertron stepped up to Optimus.
"I feel more tiger than Maximal. I promise to keep out of human site, but that doesn't mean I will not age you in this war. Let me watch over this valley, and I will always come to your age if it is needed, but I need to protect this boy, I feel that my place is beside him for now," He said without hesitation. Optimus could see where this was heading, as a maximal, it was his duty to respect the freedom of his comrade's choice.
"I guess it's settled then," Rhinox said.
"Until we meet again, Tigertron, I'm just glad you came through," Optimus nodded and transformed back into his Ape mode. Running to avoid human contact. Rhinox followed, the battle had been decided today. A victory. Tigertron watched them disappear into the woods.
"Let the trails lead where they may I will follow."
Kota, who still hid behind Tigertron, watched as the Maximal turned around to face him. "Kota, let's get you treated."
Tigertron simply approached the young boy, biting into the back of his shirt, and carried him off like a tiger cub. Kota hanged from the mouth but didn't feel anger or embarrassed. Feeling safe for once in some primal fashion.
"Why did you stay with me, they clearly wanted you back?" Kota asked. Even with Tigertron's full mouth, he was still able to speak.
"Because your safety matters as well, Kota, I am just as responsible for the danger that I have caused for allowing you to see me to witness me and, most of all, getting caught up in something more strange than you could ever imagine. I'm here to protect you from my mistake." It was true that Kota gasped but still wasn't upset.
"Thank you…" He whispered. Tigertron smiled as he heard the small boy.
"Tigertron, it's what a hero does, I have more questions to ask you about this wonderful planet if you would indulge that?" Tigertron asked, making Kota nod.
Tigertron stopped when he heard a feminine voice call a name. "Kota!"
"Aunt Shino!" Kota said out loud, recognizing the voice. Kota wanted to run to the voice but paused as Tigertron stood there motionless.
"Tigertron, what about you?" Kota asked.
"Go, Kota, be with your kind for now. I shall sit back and watch from afar. Thank you for helping me find some fragments of myself," Tigertron humbly thanked the young boy. Kota watched as the Tiger slowly walked away from him.
"Stop!" Kota Called out. Tigertron turned around and glanced at the boy. With a worried face wanted to know where Tigertron was going. "What if those guys come back?"
"Kota, as long as I am here, you shall never be afraid. That is what a hero does; I shall watch from afar, and I promise to protect you. Kota, I could tell you were frustrated by the mention of a hero. I do not know what has happened in your life however, never forget those who willingly aid others are here just to protect you."
"I hear a voice! KOTA!" Shino shouted from a distance. Their time was up. Kota watched Tigertron bow his head to him.
"Goodbye for now, please stay safe," Tigertron said as he ran into the thick woods, leaving Kota alone. Watching the white tiger disappear in this lush green landscape. Something almost mythical to watch.
Kota stood with a sad expression as he was alone.
The bush to his right started to shake. Naturally, Kota took a frightful step back, thinking it was a Predacon, but stepping out of the lush was his aunt Shino. She glanced at her nephew and only gasped, seeing how injured he was.
Shino thought today was going to be completely normal after the successful rescue mission of a lost hiker. However, everything was turned on its head when she got home, only to see a battlefield on the far rocky path to the cliff, along with a landslide by the outskirts of the woods. Seeing Kota looking ruffled up, and with a broken arm, she desperately rushed to his side.
"Kota! What happened to you!" Shino asked. Jota paused as he didn't wanna say the answer. It was just too crazy for any sane person to believe. Kota looked over, seeing the rest of the Wild Wild Pussy Cats rushing toward him.
"Kota, please tell me what happened. What are you doing?"
Kota paused and cried and hugged her aunt with his one working arm. Crying deep into his hat. "A white tiger saved me," Kota murmured.
"What?" She asked.
"The White Tiger saved me!" Kota said with tears.
Tigertron had journeyed far; it finally reached the top of the mountain, getting a full view of the valley. He desperately protected the same one that Kota lived in. The sun was setting on the horizon. He was amazed by the beauty of this planet, truly lost in its wonders, he felt more alive than ever.
He let out a primal roar as the light had silhouetted him in a perfect shade.
Izuku lay on his bed. He was so tired after what he could only call working and exercising at the same time. Carmine and Miko couldn't stand after, but he felt happy.
He felt all of his muscles ache, but it was worth it moving that pile of junk, maybe he was happy. The first steps of progress were beginning.
He slowly closed his eyes as his mind drifted away. However, unknown to him, while he slowly drifted away, his green pupil flashed a light blue only for a moment, yet closing his eyes. The rest took over his body.
"Izuku… You… Are…"
Jolting up from his bed, Izuku could have sworn he heard someone call out for him. Quickly looking around his room.
"I think my mind might be playing tricks on me, Maybe I should get some rest," Izuku said, going back to sleep.
Notes: Sorry for the long-awaited update, it's just my other fic took over and you know yada, yada, somehow I always forgot about this one, so anyway this was the introduction to Tigertron. I kinda wanted to change it up a bit instead of doing it like the original episode. Sort of some new breath in it. I think I've been really happy with this Fic, so i'll try to get the next update as soon as I can. I do want to apologize in recent chapters. I suggested you guys make new maximals and I did read a lot of them but I didn't make any of them into the story yet. I deeply apologize and will to get the winner oc maximal soon. However, later today I will post the new Keigo Chapter. I'm so glad you all enjoy this story and thank you. Also edit chapters are coming soon.
